Re: Damage Inc. Wrestling

The show opens with a rather large pyro display as "Higher" by Creedplays over the PA system. Lights flash as the cameras for this DIW pay per event pan through the crowd. The crowd is on it's feet. As the pyro ends, we hear the voice of DIW lead commentator Jim Klein break in.

Jim Klein: "Welcome to Damage Inc. Wrestling, I'm Jim Klein here with my partner TJ Cole and we are live from the Jake Kevin Fieldhouse here in Villanova, Pennsylvania and TJ, this is our debut show."

TJ Cole: "Yes it is, and tonight is make or break for DIW! InDemand PPV gave us one shot to put on a solid show and we're here to do it!"

Jim Klein: "That's right and after the show has ended, it will be up to the fans at home, whether they are watching us live tonight or they order a replay later this week, to decide whether we stay on the air."

TJ Cole: "That's right. We want to prove that we are what the fans want to see. And that's why InDemand PPV agreed to let us leave our future up to our fans."

Jim Klein: "Tonight, we will start a tournament that, in the end, will determine the first ever DIW Dynasty Champion!"

TJ Cole: "The competitors include Ring of Honor stars Bryan Danielson, Roderick Strong, and BJ Whitmer, among others."

Jim Klein: "Well, let's not waste anymore time getting straight to the action!"

BJ Whitmer v. Davey Richards - Dynasty Tournament Round 1 Match
In a match that was highly anticipated leading up to the show, Davey Richards faced off against BJ Whitmer. The match was fast paced with a lot of solid, pure wrestling from both men. The two put on a performance that left the crowd in silence. BJ Whitmer was in control throughout much of the match, however, Davey Richards was able to come out on top when BJ Whitmer submitted to the Kimura Lock.
Winner: Davey Richards @ 11:32

Colt Cabana v. Delirious
The next match placed two huge fan favorites against each other. Former partner of CM Punk, started off the match strong but after a Bizarro Driver from Delirioius five mintues into the matchup, things slowly went down hill. Delirious would go on to win the match after connecting with the Chemical Imbalance II for the pinfall.
Winner: Delirious @ 7:57

Backstage, we see Bryan Danielson pacing back and forth as he warms up for his main event matchup with Brent Albright. Bryan then faces the camera and begins to speak.

Bryan Danielson: "Ya know, Brent and I go back. We've been friends and enemies throughout our careers and we've faced off many times. At times, I won the match. And at other times, it was he who emerged victorious. And we were supposed to face off for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship back in September, however due to an injury I sustained, I could not compete and I was replaced by Adam Pearce. Brent did not beat Adam Pearce that night just like he will not beat me tonight. For me, this is like my chance at redemption. I will prove tonight that I should've been that NWA Champion. And when it's all said and done, at the end of this tournament, i may not be NWA Champion, but I will be the first ever DIW Dynasty Champion!"

The camera cuts back to the ring.

Roderick Strong v. Jack Evans - Dynasty Tournament Round 1 Match
In match between two members of Generation Next, the technically sound Roderick Strong defeated the high flying Jack Evans. Evans was all over the ring and gaves many great spots, but the always aware Roberick Strong was able to block an attempted moonsault by gettin his knees up just as Evans came off the turnbuckle. Roderick would then connect with the Strong Hold for the 1, 2, 3.
Winner: Roderick Strong @ 13:19

Nigel McGuiness v. Ace Steel
In a rather quick matchup, Nigel McGuiness was very dominant against Ace Steel. He was able to obtain the pinfall victory after connecting with the Rebound Lariat.
Winner: Nigel McGuiness @ 4:26

Matt Sydal v. Adam Pearce - Dynasty Tournament Round 1 Match
Matt Sydal, who was a member of the short lived WSX took on Adam Pearce in another solid matchup. The wrestled for just under a quarter hour and gave the fans a hell of a show. Adam Pearce was able to pick up the victory, however, when he was able to knock Matt unconscious with his NWA World Championship title belt after the referee was knocked down. He would then revive the referee and get the three count.
Winner: Adam Pearce @ 14:49

Darren Burridge v. Doug Williams v. Shawn Spears
In another very solid matchup, Doug Williams won a triple threat when he pinned Shawn Spears after connecting with the Chaos Theory. After the match, Darren Burridge viciously attacked the victorious Williams and left him unconscious. He would leave after giving no explaination for the attack.

MAIN EVENT
Bryan Danielson v. Brent Albright - Dynasty Tournament Round 1 Match
In the main event of the night, two of the independent scene's most talented and popular wrestlers gave it their all in front of the DIW crowd. The two men wrestled back and forth for more than 25 minutes. In a controversial ending, Nigel McGuiness came to the ring and knocked out the referee. He would then jump Bryan Danielson from behind. It looked as if Brent Albright was upset over such a great match being ruined and was about to help Danielson but he instead help Nigel beat him down. Albright would then win by causing Danielson to submit to the Sharpshooter.
Winner: Brent Albright @ 28:56

After the match, Nigel McGuiness and Brent Albright would continue to beat down on Bryan Danielson. But then, none other than Low Ki came running from the back to help Bryan Danielson. He chased off McGuiness and Albright and then checked on Danielson. DIW Owner Cody Christianson then came out to the ring and announced that at the next event on July 8th, Low Ki and Bryan Danielson would take on Nigel McGuiness and Brent Albright and the tournament semi finals would take place at the following show.

Re: Damage Inc. Wrestling

Only minutes after the show went off the air, a video was uploaded to DIW.net. The video featured Nigel McGuiness who had this to say:

"When I was out there beating the living daylights out of The American Dragon, i heard so many whys from the crowd. So, I'm gonna tell you why. IT SHOULD'VE BEEN ME IN THAT TOURNAMENT. I was the longest reigning Pure Champion in Ring of Honor history! Not only that, but when he beat me in my home town of Liverpool on August 12 of 2006 and took my Pure Championship, I couldn't get over that. And I knew this was my shot. Bryan, you'd better ready for hell because that's what I'm going to give to you. Two years ago you, you took away my life. You took away a title I held for nearly a year, and now I took away your shot to be champion again."
