Backstory On November 21, 2008, Stephanie McMahon seperated all ties with the WWE. Nobody knows exactly the reason, but it was most likely one of two main reasons: a)Vince McMahon leaving complete control of WWE to Shane McMahon in his living will or b)kicking Stephanie out of her head spot in the creative team. Whatever the reason was, Stephanie was out of the WWE. 2009 was a year of lows for WWE. Without Stephanie, the creative team floundered horribly and churned out absolutely horrid storylines, the worst of being the Chris Jericho/Hornswoggle gay marriage storyline which ended up being interrupted by the returning Naked Mideon. Triple H and the Creative Team bumped heads multiple times and eventually he was transferred to ECW. But during that time, Stephanie was busy getting a board of staff together to plan a new project. It was something Stephanie has been thinking of doing for a long time but never had the need to. It was the promotion WWX. In December 2009, Stephanie finalized what would soon become WWX. She had signed a television deal with the television network VS for a 2-hour timeslot on Saturday Night Primetime. She and her board signed many disgruntled WWE employees. Entering 2010, this new promotion looks promising. Internet buzz surrounding it is intense. The premiere of Saturday Night X(SNX) on VS this weekend is creating a huge buzz worldwide. How will this new promotion effect the failing wrestling industry?

The opening pyros go off to Diamond in the Rough by Airbourne. The camera pans over the crowd, who are worked up into a frenzy. The camera cuts to the announce table, which is set-up beside the top of the entrance ramp. Michael Cole is seen sitting alone.
Cole. Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the inception of the WWX! We have a great show lined up for you tonight! Now, please welcome my partner at the announce table, Steve Austin!
The Glass Shatters and the arena erupts. Austin comes out from the back, drinks a few brewskis, flips off the crowd, and joins Cole at the booth.
Cole. Well, welcome Mr. Austin. Austin. Thanks Mikey. So, what's first on tonight's card? Cole. That would be Jericho vs Cage. Austin. Wow, son, that should be good. Cole. Let's quit talking about it and turn it over to them, Steve. Austin. Watch your mouth, boy, and call me Mr. Austin.
Chris Jericho vs Christian Cage
The bells rings and Christian extends his hand for a handshake. Jericho accepts- then slaps Cage across the face.
Austin. Jericho just bitch-slapped the piss out of Christian! Cole. What a sign of disrespect!
Jericho kicks Christian's stomack and hits a huge DDT. Jericho leans outside the ropes and taunts to the crowd. Jericho gets back in the ring and gets nailed with a picture-perfect dropkick via Cage.
Cole. Now that's what you get! Austin. Mikey, calm down boy.
Christian follows up with some right and left hand to the back of Jericho's head, which sends him running for cover. The ref gets inbetween them, telling Christian to stop the blatant punching.
Cole. You can just feel the animocity radiating from that ring. These two used to be inseprable, but now they truly hate each other! Austin. These two have history. They may hate each other, but they always put on a hell of a match.
Christian and Jericho lock up in a grapple. Jericho overpowers Cage and tosses him to the mat. Jericho uses his ground game and works over the left arm of Christian. Cage pushes his legs and uses the momentum to reverse Jericho's submission into a chickenwing type hold. Jericho breaks out of it. He tries to punt Cage's head but Christian dodges it and hits a leg sweep, knocking Jericho down. Christian goes for the Walls of Jericho, but Chris spins him into a small cradle for a two count.
Cole. Did you see that? Christian just attempted Jericho's signature Walls of Jericho. Austin. I wonder what Jericho will try on Cage next. These guys are pulling out all the stops in this match.
Christian clotheslines Jericho and then hits an elbow drop. He covers for a 2 count. Christian picks Jericho up and irish whips him into the ropes. Jericho reverses and hits a sick-looking STO.
Austin. Whoooaww! Colerbear, did you see that? Cole. Yes Steve.
Cage is down on the mat. Jericho runs into the ropes and comes off with the lionsault- but Christian gets his knees up and Jericho gets a forehead full of bone! Jericho is bleeding slightly out of his forehead. Christian stalks Jericho, waiting for him to rise. Jericho gets up, groggy, and Cage goes for the finisher. Cage turns him around and nails a wicked Unprettier!
Cole. Ooh! Unprittier! That could do it!
Christian rolls Jericho over and the ref makes the count. 1! 2! 3- no! Jericho kicks out! Christian is stunned. He gets up looks out at the crowd in disbelief. Cage turns around- and gets nailed with the Codebreaker! Jericho covers him and the ref counts- 1! 2! 3! It's over.
Austin. Great match, Mikey, great match. Cole. I agree, Steve. So, Chris Jericho moves on in the WWX Title Tournament. He'll face either Shawn Michaels or Edge next week to decide who will compete in the championship match in two weeks.

Back from Commercial, we see Dave Batista standing in the ring with a mic.
Batista. Look who's not in the title tournament. Me. You know, the suits backstage must be insane! I mean, come on, no Batista on the card? Dave equals ratings, baby! It's like if the 49ers never played Joe Montana, or if Jenna Jameson decided to be a doctor. They wouldn't have made history. Now, the WWX isn't putting Dave Batista in the title tournament. Well, everyone, get your pens and pencils, take notes, write this down. Dave Batista will be WWX Champion.

Cole. Well, Steve, this next match intrests me. It's a matchup of two high fliers in Jeff Hardy and Teddy Hart. Austin. Ted is the nephew of the great Bret Hart, who I had the pleasure of wrestling at Wrestlemania. They're a great wrestling family, Cole. Cole. Let's turn it over to these two competitors and see if Teddy can find the same success Bret Hart had in the WWF heavyweight division in the WWX Cruiserweight Division.
Teddy Hart vs Jeff Hardy
Quote:
Hart and Hardy have a good spot fest. Highlights include Teddy Hart hitting Hardy with a Senton to the outside, Hardy hitting a Twist of Fate off the ring apron, Hart hitting a moonsault on a standing Hardy, and Teddy catching Hardy during a Whisper in the Wind attempt and turning it into a Sharpshooter. Teddy pulls the upset with a shooting star press after a missed Swanton attept.

Edge vs Shawn Michaels
Quote:
This is a close contest. Edge dominates early with some big dropkicks and an impaler DDT. Michaels makes a comeback with an acid drop and an elbow drop. This match ends when Edge dodges a Sweet Chin Music attempt and hits HBK with a spear for the three count.

Rob Van Dam vs Booker T
Quote:
This one is another pretty good contest. It's a close battle at the beginning with RVD hitting some wicked kicks and Booker T hitting a book end. RVD dominated the last half, then eventually wins with the five star frog splash.

The pre-recoring of Steve Austin's interview with Stephanie McMahon is played. Basically, the interview really put Stephanie over. She blasted the WWE and her dad. When asked about Triple H, Stephanie said that Trips had no intrest in joining the WWX. They also hit on such topics as Stephanie's children, the possibilities of a WWX videogame, and at the end Steve and Stephanie shared some Miller Light.

Scott Hall vs Mystery Opponent
Cole. Well Steve, it's the final match of the night. It's Scott Hall versus an unknown opponent. Steve, do you have any idea who it is? Austin. Cole, I have no idea. Cole. Well, here comes Scott Hall. I guess we won't have to wait long now to see who he's facing.
Scott comes down to the ring. He is awaiting his opponnent when-
Stephanie McMahon comes out onto the ramp.
Stephanie. Scott? Would you like to know who your opponent is? Well, I'll give you a hint. It's HIS time.
The arena blacks out. An unknown song starts to play over the PA. The arena is buzzing with anticipation. A huge pyro goes off and the arena lights back up again and standing next to Stephanie on the stage is- Triple H!
Cole. Wow! Look at that! I guess that Triple H was interested in WWX! Austin. You think?
Quote:
Triple H and Scott Hall have a good old school WWF-feeling match. Scott Hall hits the Razor's Edge and almost gets the pin- but would Triple H really lose in Stephanie McMahon's promotion? He hits the pedigree after about 9 minutes for the win to end the show.
(OOC- about my writing style: Regular shows will be mostly the quick review matches except for 2 or 3 written out matches. The PPVs will me all written out matches. Sorry if anyone was confused while reading.)
