The Royal Rumble

John Cena made a shocking return eliminating Triple H

---

WWE RAW Preview

All-State Arena, Chicago Illinois

The shockwaves of the return of John Cena are still being felt around the World. The man who tore his pectoral muscle back in October was expected to be out for 6-12 months but returned after just four. With John Cena now cemented his chance at gold at Wrestlemania what will Cena have to say on RAW?

After the Royal Rumble went off of the air suscribers of the AT and T Mobile certainly seen a side of Triple H they weren't use to. Triple H grabbed a sledgehammer and as referee's and other WWE Staff came to take down the ring Triple H broke the nose of Mike Choida with a Sledgehammer shot, Triple H then proceeded to hammer the ring with the sledgehammer before taking out the rest of the WWE Staff, what was Triple H's meaning behind this?

Jeff Hardy came so close to becoming the WWE Champion at the Royal Rumble but an RKO flattened Hardy and his chances. Hardy will get his last chance match with Orton tonight on RAW in a Ladder Match, can Jeff manage to finally climb to the top of the Ladder and win the gold or will Orton prevail yet again?

WWE News and Notes

- Apparently John Cena was originally told by doctors he would be out for 6-12 months but ever since his surgery he had spent hours a day rehabbing. Cena wasn't originally meant to be part of the Royal Rumble and told WWE Officials he could come back just three days before the event and plans for the final spot and winner changed. The original winner was meant to be Triple H, John Cena did not turn up to Madison Square Garden until just after the 25th entrant came out so he could re-run what he was to do, only a select knew he would return.

- Melina will not be on RAW this week after spraining her hand. Melina sprained it during a match with Mickie James at a House Show this past week, Melina went to land her Facebuster and landed on her hand wrongly, spraining it. Melina picked up the victory shortly afterward, it is not serious enough for her to miss any more action and plans are afloat for her to be on Smackdown or ECW this week to compensate.

- We can confirm that WWE have signed three new superstars over the past week, these signings were Chris "Abyss" Parks from TNA, Parks contract had run out and was only finishing his TNA commitments, Abyss lost to Judas Mesias at Final Resolution, afterwards Abyss was thrown off of the stage, Abyss will work the iMPACT taping this Monday in a Loser Gets Fired match against Mesias and then after Thursday iMPACT will begin working with the WWE.

WWE's second signing is Senshi. Senshi was recently released by TNA and has been out of contract for around 2 weeks. We have no more word on this except the fact that Senshi has signed for sure.

Finally, WWE have continued theit trend of signing body-builders and have signed Oleg Zhur to a contract. Zhur, who is 33-years old signed last week, his profile can be seen here

RAW should be up today or tomorrow. I just put in the body-builder to add realism.

Re: WWE: Rumble Aftershock

Just posting the first show to get the ball rolling:

WWE Monday Night RAW
Live from Chicago, Illinois
All-State Arena

(A video package begins playing; the camera is still on a black screen when suddenly the black screen fades until we see the figure of John Cena winning the Royal Rumble. The video continues to show John Cenaeliminating Triple H and celebrating afterwards, the video then proceeds to show Triple H beating on Staff Members with his sledgehammer and a large Off-Air logo is at the bottom left hand corner. As Triple H is standing with his sledgehammer in the air the screen fades to black and the official RAW Theme Song, "To Be Loved" by Papa Roach plays. The camera pans to inside the sold-out All-State arena in Chicago, Illinois and some red-hot pyrotechnics go off on the top of the stage.)

Jim Ross: "Welcome everyone to Monday Night RAW! Tonight we come to you still feeling the aftershock of the huge return of John Cena."

Jerry Lawler: "Your not kidding JR, John Cena shocked the World at the Royal Rumble and he's going to Wrestlemania."

(Suddenly, "My Time Is Now!" hits as the crowd go crazy for John Cena, their are some boo's being it's a Chicago crowd but the cheers over majoritise the boo's. Cena is wearing a 'Hustle, Loyalty and Respect' shirt with his blue short jeans. He taunts on the stage before walking to the ring, he enters the ring via the middle rope and grabs a microphone.)

John Cena: "I'm back! (Pop) I'm back and I'm coming for Randy Orton (Pop) because Randy, you tore my pectoral muscle and for the last four months I've felt empty without having that WWE Championship on my shoulder, I couldn't even give the thing up on my own terms, I had to vacate it. But I know why Orton, you were scared, you were scared of seeing me standing over you for 10 seconds at No Mercy still WWE Champion, you were scared it would be your last chance so you took me out. Why Randy Orton, let me tell you this. I've got the Main Event shot at Wrestlemania, so it's going to be like this: John Cena, returned at the Royal Rumble, healed a pectoral muscle in four months and is going to kick Randy Orton's ass, Vs. Randy Orton! The WWE Champion, The Scardey-Cat at Wrestlemania 24! But then, there's Jeff Hardy. Jeff Hardy could beat you tonight and it could be the Rain-"

(Then, "Game" hits as the crowd give him an ovation, as they didn't see the attack on the staff members as a Heel turn. Triple H is staring right at John Cena, sledgehammer in hand. He enters the ring and gets in John Cena's face, grabbing the microphone.)

Triple H: "Welcome back John, haha. Fantastic, huh? You know it's fantastic that you returned, fantastic for you, fantastic for the business, for the fans but John it's not for me. Why? Because if you had decided not to come out I'd be going to Wrestlemania to face Randy Orton or Jeff Hardy. John, you've made me tap out and now you've stopped me Main Eventing Wrestlemania and I am not happy about it. I want the shot, and I want it tonight."

William Regal: "Now.. NOW!"

(William Regal has appeared on the stage.)

William Regal: "Now, both of you be quiet. Randy Orton is busy preparing for his match so he asked me to read out a statement from the Randy, it reads "It doesn't matter who I face, because you'll just be another victim." and as for you wanting a shot Triple H, well fine tonight it will be John Cena's first in-ring match since return and he will face Triple H. If you win Triple H you will go on to Wrestlemania."

(Triple H smirks, as John Cena doesn't look too happy.)

The crowd are going crazy for Mickie thinking she might just beat Beth; Mickie goes for the cover and goes ever so close for the 3. Mickie goes for another clothesline but Beth ducks and lifts Mickie up to her shoulders and lands a hard Samoan Drop. Lillian Garcia: "Your winner and NEW WWE Women's Champion.. Mickie James"

Jim Ross: "Oh My God King, Mickie has done it! Mickie has dethroned the Glamazon and not only that Candice is back."

Jerry Lawler: "I can't believe my eyes JR, after weeks of beatings and losing to Beth Mickie found a way to beat The Glamazon all be it through Candice but she found a way and Beth isn't happy."

(The Glamazon picks up the referee and lands the Samoan Drop to him. Beth points at Mickie and Candice who are on the stage as we go to a commercial.)

Jerry Lawler: “You don’t get any advantage out of this move JR, you hurt yourself as much as your opponent!”

(Shawn grabs the tights of Umaga and.. LANDS A HARD SUPER-PLEX. Shawn rolls around in pain as Umaga also feels the effects of the massive move. Shawn is obviously frustrated and runs once more at Umaga but Umaga whips Shawn into the corner and then runs right into him with a hard clothesline, which makes Shawn, fall onto his buttocks with his head resting on the second turnbuckle. Umaga goes to the opposite turnbuckle and taunts, he then jumps up to the second turnbuckle and jumps to the crowd before charging at HBK and connects with the Running Butt Smash to Shawn, Umaga signals for the Samoan Spike.)

Jim Ross: “That taped thumb, Umaga going for the Samoan Spike it has taken out so many opponents in the past.”

Shawn manages to get up first and lands a right and whips Umaga off of the ropes, as Shawn comes back “he runs into a brick wall” as Umaga clotheslines him to the mat, picking him up like a rag doll and slinging him against the ropes, as Shawn comes back Umaga bends down and then snaps his head up sending Shawn over in a big back body drop. He then connects with the Banzai Drop and goes for the cover once more but only gets the 2 count. Umaga is clearly frustrated. He stands up and waits for Shawn and goes for the Samoan Spike but Shawn ducks, they both end up at opposite sides of the ring and Shawn goes for the super kick and connects but Umaga hits the Samoan Spike in the nick of time as both men are on the mat. The referee starts his count: “1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9…” the referee checks one last time: “…10!” The referee rings the bell as the crowd cannot believe it’s finished with a count-out.)

Jim Ross: “After all that, after 12 minutes of action it ends in a count-out.”

Carlito touches his nose to see if there is blood, Venis is on his feet but is again taking down with a hard clothesline.)

Jim Ross: "Carlito is obviously getting frustrated King, Venis is showing a willingness to stay in this match."

Jerry Lawler: "Frustrated isn't even the word JR, he's just plain angry that he can't win this match. Val has looked better tonight than he has for a number of years."

Jim Ross: "Chris Jericho, the man who had a heated brawl with JBL last night at the Royal Rumble. Jericho snapped, who can blame him. JBL brought in Jericho's family and that is a big no-no, you don't bring in someone's family into a personal feud."

(Chris Jericho is in the ring, the Jeritron 5000 is sitting in the ring with the Highlight Reel carpet and his two chairs with microphones on them.)

Chris Jericho: "Welcome to the return of the Highlight Reeeeeeellll! *Pop* Yeah, I've got a guest tonight but I want to talk about that guest, because that guest is John "Bradshaw" Layfield, the self-proclaimed "Wrestling God". Last night, Madison Square Garden the first time I'd been back since I left the company and I couldn't wait, I couldn't wait to kick JBL's ass. I went out there and whilst I was in the ring I ran through my mind every little thing JBL said, about me, about my family, about himself and it drove me mad and I snapped.. I snapped. I grabbed this chair I am holding and slammed him over the head with it, then the image of him dragging me across the mat with a cable wrapped around my neck crossed my mind and it was time for some payback! But John, John I want you out here, face-to-face.. c'mon John I know your in the back, if you don't get your Monkey Ass back here I'll go out there and bring it to the ring, now Jo-"

("Longhorn" hits as the crowd begin booing JBL. The familiar white limousine of JBL comes across the stage and parks itself at the top of the HD Set Stage. JBL's limousine driver gets out.)

Chris Jericho: "Hey Jim, hurry your ass up and open the door!"

("Jim The Chauffeur" walks over to the end of the limousine and opens the door. John “Bradshaw” Layfield steps out, cowboy hat and expensive suit. JBL walks down the ramp and taunts the crowd, faking to tap the fans hands and then enters the ring.)

Chris Jericho: “Jo-“

John “Bradshaw” Layfield: “No, be quiet Chris. Hear that, “JBL… JBL… JBL…” that’s your kids Chris, after seeing what a fake you are, after seeing that you can’t beat me they’ve turned against you Chris, I proved it to them and I proved it to the World Chris, I proved it to the World that I.. JBL.. “The Wrestling God”… is better than you! Did you go home Sunday night Chris? Did you tell your kids that you aren’t a patch on me and that is why you lost? Did you tell them that you where so frustrated you couldn’t beat me you hit me with a chair? No, wait Chris did you tell them that.. you suck?”

(Jericho is getting angrier by the second.)

Chris Jericho: “You know what John, why don’t you just shut up? (Pop) You come out, you talk about yourself I’m fine with that, you talk about me, I’m fine with that, but talking about my kids? I am not fine with that! You know what, I'm getting tired of you even talking about yourself because John you cling onto something you did in 2004, four years ago. You cling on to that WWE Championship run.."

John "Bradshaw" Layfield: "And you Chris, you cling onto the only thing you've ever done that's notable, the only thing your kids would've respected you for and that was five years ago, I remember your ego was so big Chris Jericho the Undisputed Champion.. Chris.. the truth is, you will never match up to me, and you will never come close to the standards of a Wrestling God and YOU WILL NEVER.. EVVVVEEERRRRRR.. beat me!"

Chris Jericho: "Is that right? (JBL nods his head) That's the very thing I wanted to talk to you about, you beat me at the Royal Rumble... all be it by disqualification... but you beat me. Now you say that I will.. NEVER EVVVEEEERRRR.. beat you? I'm just the kind of guy who likes to prove you wrong, and what better stage to do it than at Wrestlemania inside Hell in a Cell!"

(Huge reaction from the crowd.)

Jim Ross: "Oh my God King, Jericho, JBL, Wrestlemania!"

John "Bradshaw" Layfield: "Whoa, Chris don't get too far ahead of yourself. I said you couldn't beat me and the only proof I need is that Royal Rumble victory, I don't need to beat you at Wrestlemania too, plus I am not endangering my career just to kick your ass!"

Chris Jericho: "You scared?"

John "Bradshaw" Layfield: "Scared? No Chri-"

Chris Jericho: "Shut Up! Yes or No John, Wrestlemania, The Ayllatoah of Rock n' Rolla' Y2J Chris Jeri-"

John "Bradshaw" Layfield: "Wait, you missed a part. You missed the part of you being a Saviour, of being this man who saves us, your not Jesus Christ Jericho, your just a simple 37 year old man who get's hype over nothing! You played your video's, you showed your messages but when you came back the crowd was silent, they forgot who you were Chris, whereas with me. If I had played some videos, or messages then the roof would've been blown off for the return of the Wrestling God. You had to play some videos, I just returned and the ratings shot up!"

Chris Jericho: "Stop boosting your ego JBL. I am not Jesus Christ no, I don't do miracles or heal but it will be a miracle of you walk out of Wrestlemania in one piece John, I'm not trading insults anymore, Wrestlemania John, Yes or No?"

(William Regal appears on the stage.)

William Regal: "JBL I understand your reluctance which is why in the interest of fairness at No Way Out we will have a Street Fight! Chris Jericho Vs JBL, Chris if you win the match at Wrestlemania will be on, JBL if you win the match will be off!"

**COMMERCIAL**

Triple H does his signature taunt on the apron that he does during his entrances, Cena comes off of the ropes and pushes Triple H off of the apron. Triple H smashes his face off the crowd barrier, Cena then grabs the ropes and jumps right over them onto Triple H, which even provides a cheer for Cena. The referee is now at 7 as Triple H picks Cena up he reaches eight, Triple H throws John Cena in at nine and as the referee is about to count the ten Cena kicks back at Triple H which sends Triple H back, Triple H manages to quickly scurry back into the ring milliseconds before the referee can count him out. The relief is etched on Triple H’s face. Triple H grabs Cena and lands a hard power slam, Triple H falls, tired, exhausted even and goes for the cover but once more only manages to get the two count. Triple H grabs Cena up but Cena lands two gut shots and throws Triple H against the ropes, he lifts Triple H onto his shoulders but Triple H falls off of the back, he rolls up Cena but Cena escapes fairly quickly and Triple H charges, Cena trips Triple H and goes for the STFU and locks it in, the pain now etched into the face of Triple H. Triple H just like he was in the same building and the same submission move at Wrestlemania 22, Triple H manages to get within inches of the ropes but John Cena pulls him back, stretching harder than before and Triple H’s hand is now hovering over the mat as JR screams that Triple H knows what he has to lose if he taps. Mike Choida asks Triple H if he quits but he refuses shouting ‘no’ Cena puts more pressure into the hold and Triple H bangs the mat but only once, he begins biting his knuckles before finally tapping. The crowd give off a mixed reaction at the result.)

Jim Ross: “By God what a match King, John Cena is still going to Wrestlemania to face Randy Orton.”

Winner: John Cena with the STFU at 16:27

(John Cena has left the ring, “One of a Kind” hits as the crowd roar, Rob Van Dam appears on the stage taunting with his regular ‘RVD’ taunt. The crowd do it along with him. Rob Van Dam continues down the ramp-way and enters the ring.)

(‘RVD’ grabs a microphone.)

Rob Van Dam; ‘RVD’: “Dude, guess who’s back?”

(Loud cheer.)

Rob Van Dam; ‘RVD’: “Tonight marks the return of ‘The Whole Dam Show’, ‘Mr. Monday Night’… Rob… Van… Da-“

(Triple H comes from behind with a sledgehammer shot taking down Rob Van Dam. Triple H runs his hand through his hair as the crowd begin to boo Triple H. The Game waits for Rob Van Dam to stand up, RVD turns around into another huge Sledgehammer shot. RVD is bleeding and Triple H takes a huge shot at the surgically-prepared knee of Rob Van Dam, he does it over and over as ‘RVD’ clings to his knee. Triple H waits once me for Rob Van Dam to stand and hits him once more with the sledgehammer, he then picks up ‘Van Dam’ and puts him into the Pedigree position. He connects with the Pedigree, Triple H grabs the sledgehammer and lifts his arms into the air in his apron-like pose as the boo’s continue.)

Jim Ross: “What is he doing? Dammit! Triple H has snapped!”

Jerry Lawler: “I’m almost speechless JR, Triple H just took out RVD on his return, we need some medics out here, now!”

(Referees and Security try to get Triple H out of the ring. The stretcher comes down and Rob Van Dam is placed on it. Triple H is now standing on the apron as ‘RVD’ is rolled past. Triple H jumps down from the apron hitting RVD in the gut with the hammer. He then flips over the stretcher. He puts RVD back on it and wheels him to the top of the stage. He stands onto the stretcher and picks ‘RVD’ up and lands the Pedigree breaking the stretcher.)

Jim Ross: “Stop it Hunter! Stop it! I can tell you this King, although he is right now next week Rob Van Dam won’t be taking this lying down.”

Jerry Lawler: “This is a side I don’t remember of Triple H JR, we need some real help out here for RVD.”

Jerry Lawler: “But now JR it is time for our Main Event…”

Jim Ross: “It sure is King, Jeff Hardy gets another chance for the belt he almost won at the Royal Rumble.”

(We see the Royal Rumble logo and a video package plays, ‘Standing on the Rooftops’ hits as we see numerous clips from the feud of Orton/Hardy including Jeff’s jump from the titantron area. Jeff Hardy appears ‘What a moment, what a moment for Jeff Hardy here King.’ JR proclaims as Jeff makes his way to the ring. A ladder is on the stage as he does his signature Gunz taunt on the top of the Ladder which gets another cheer, Jeff comes down off of the Ladder and does his fireworks dancing as the fireworks go off around him, he runs down the stage and begins clapping fans hands.)

Lillian Garcia: “The following contest is a Ladder Match for the WWE Championship! Making his way to the ring from Cameron, North Carolina weighing 225 pounds, ‘The Rainbow Haired Warrior’ and WWE Intercontinental Champion… Jeff Hardy!”

(“Burn in my Light” hits as the crowd begin booing Orton. Randy Orton steps onto the stage with the WWE Title on his shoulder, mimicking Jeff he climbs the turnbuckle and does Jeff’s gunz taunt. He then does his own signature pose where he outstretches his arms. He climbs down the Ladder and holds up the WWE Title at the top of the stage where his gold sparkling pyrotechnic makes it’s return, then gold fireworks go up and down the ramp way beside the crowd barriers. He then begins walking to the ring.)

Lillian Garcia: “Making his way to the ring from St. Louis, Missouri weighing 245 pounds he is the current WWE Champion… Randy Orton!”

**BELL RINGS**

Jim Ross: “What a crazy match this will be King, Jeff Hardy, The Rainbow Haired Warrior is known for his crazy stunts.”

(Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton pace around the ring looking for the appropriate time to lock-up. They lock up but Randy pulls out, Orton then locks up again and pulls out, Jeff shrugs his shoulders but Orton retaliates with a hard kick to the patella of Jeff Hardy. Hardy falls to one knee as Orton grabs the leg and drops to the mat, elbow right on the knee putting pressure onto it. Jeff grabs his hair in pain as Orton continues working on the leg, every so often re-applying more pressure than the previous time. Orton pulls Jeff Hardy’s leg in every wrong way possible as Jeff places his palms on his forehead as he screams out in pain, Jeff manages to ‘shimmy’ backwards and is close to the ropes, Orton stands however and drags Jeff back to the middle of the ring and elbows the knee re-applying the submission hold. Jeff winces in pain as Orton digs his elbow into the knee before continuing to just hammer the knee with elbows. Orton lets go, Orton stands and grabs Jeff’s leg pulling him but Jeff hops to one foot and hops on the mat before hitting a hard enziguri on Orton which provokes an ‘ooo’ from the crowd. Jeff limps to the ropes dragging his leg along with him. He stares up at the title above the ring. Jeff rolls out of the ring and falls as weight is placed on his knee, he falls to hit ass on the mat, Jeff manages to scramble on his knees under the ring and finds a Ladder. The crowd cheer at the side of this. Jeff is on his knees as he puts the Ladder sideways on the apron. Jeff’s face just visible over the apron, Orton bounces off of the ropes and lands a sickening baseball slide to the Ladder which sends the Ladder crashing right into Jeff’s face, this too provokes an ‘oooooo’ reaction from the crowd. Jeff falls back onto the stage. Orton exits the ring and grabs Jeff, picking him up like a rag doll with his trousers lifting Jeff right off of his feet, Jeff is in the air but in the position he would be if he was lying on his stomach, Orton just flings Jeff shoulder first into the Ladder on the mat. Jeff holds his shoulders, Orton lifts the Ladder leg up and puts Jeff between the two legs of the Ladder and slams the Ladder down which causes Jeff to yelp in pain, Orton then jumps right onto the Ladder, crushing the knee of Jeff as Jeff is almost pulling his hair out in pain. Orton pulls Jeff from under the Ladder, Jeff manages to land a right hand to Orton’s stomach again and again as Orton stumbles backwards up the stage, Jeff limps landing another one, Jeff falls as Orton stumbles up the stage, Jeff is on one knee again and manages to stand with another right. Both men are on the stage. Jeff throws Orton right into the top of the stage area causing him to crash off of the set then landing back-first on the stage. Jeff grabs the Ladder and lays it down on the top of the stage. He drags Orton over and places him onto the Ladder. He then just does a somersault/front flip but Orton moves as Jeff lands back first on the stage and on the Ladder, Jeff rolls back onto the stage holding his back in pain. Orton gets to his feet and slides the Ladder down the stage, the Ladder reaches mid-way. Orton grabs Jeff and pulls him by the hair all the way to the ring but Jeff manages to fight back as he lands another right Orton falls over the Ladder, he rolls over quickly though and is on his feet, he stares at Jeff and then walks away up the stage but then turns and quickly baseball slides the Ladder top, the Ladder hits the shin of Jeff causing him to land knee first right on the Ladder. Jeff screams out in pain again as Orton grabs the Ladder and slides it into the ring, he grabs the second Ladder and too slides it into the ring. Orton picks up Jeff similar to how he did the time before and throws him between the middle and bottom ropes, Orton soon follows into the ring.)

Jim Ross: “Did you hear that impact King, Jeff’s knee landing right onto that Ladder.”

Jerry Lawler: “Jeff’s knee is in a real bad way JR but the Rainbow Haired Warrior is fighting back with all he can.”

(Orton sets up the Ladder and begins climbing it. He gets to the top and begins unhooking the belt very quickly, the crowd are anxious as Jeff manages to get to his feet, Orton is having trouble unhooking the belt as Jeff manages to get to the top and lands a right hand to Orton, Orton fires back with one soon followed by another by Jeff, this continues until both men are hanging on by their fingers before lunging forward with a right hand. Jeff however hooks Orton for the Twist of Fate and taunts but Jeff can’t land it as Orton moves his head out, both men try for a punch at the same time, both men then fall at the same time as the crowd feel like it was anti-climatic as they thought only one would fall off. Jeff manages to get to his feet all be it using the ropes, he goes under the bottom rope and grabs a Steel Chair and rolls back into the ring, Orton is on his feet and kicks the chair right into the head of Jeff Hardy which sends Jeff crashing to the mat. Jeff holds his head as the bent chair lies crumpled on the mat. Orton stares at the fallen Jeff Hardy and picks up the chair, he then crashes it down onto the back of Jeff Hardy. Orton drops the chair as Jeff holds his lower back, Orton begins taunting the crowd and sets up the Ladder. Orton begins climbing the Ladder before realising that it isn’t exactly under the belt. He jumps down and moves the Ladder this time taking more care to make sure the Ladder is exactly under the belt, Orton begins climbing it and takes it step-by-step. Orton smirks as he reaches the top, Jeff is reaching the second rope still on his knee’s, he does his out-stretched arms in his trademark taunt at the top of the Ladder, Orton’s face of ‘cockiness’ disappears as the Ladder moves from beneath him. Hardy just came from the ropes with a big dropkick right into the Ladder, Orton falls right to the ring mat as the Ladder bounces on the ropes. Jeff grabs the Ladder when he stands up and puts it under the belt, he stops checking on his knee which is clearly damaged already, he begins slowly making his way to the top of the Ladder, he gets to the top, Orton however is holding onto the Ladder on the ground moving it ever so slightly, Jeff realises and comes down the Ladder, Orton’s expression changes as he sees Jeff standing over him, he lands a stomp right onto Orton’s hand, Orton moves as Jeff picks Orton up, Orton reverses it into an RKO… but Jeff gets out, kick to the gut and the Twist of Fate connects, Orton gets out and just lands a cheap shot on Jeff, Jeff leans on the ropes as Orton goes off of the opposite ropes, both men meet in the middle with a huge double clothesline. Both men are now sprawled across the ring mat, Jeff holds his head again as the new replay system (it now has two full split screens with a little strip down the middle saying “RAW Live! Replay.” As usual one section shows what’s happening in the match, the other shows the replay.) The replay shows Jeff’s head whipping off of the mat with the clothesline from Orton. Orton manages to get to his feet, Jeff is on his knees. Orton smirks and pulls his boot up, he goes for the Running Kick to the Head but Hardy moves and grabs Orton’s leg which trips him up, Jeff grabs the leg of Orton and his arm around Orton’s leg, twisting it. Orton begins to scream in pain, the referee can’t act as he really can’t do any real officiating in this match. Orton begins stretching his arms across the mat, although you can’t win by submission. Jeff stands and comes off of the ropes but falls at the ropes holding his knees. He falls to one knee and then stands, holding it he manages to come off of the rope with a big leg-drop to the back of Orton. Jeff then grabs the second Ladder which is across the mat and places it upright but at the turnbuckle, Orton gets to his feet and charges at Jeff, Jeff snaps up and lands the big back body drop as Orton goes over back-first right into the Ladder. Orton is sprawled on his back on the Ladder, upside-down. Jeff limps to the other turnbuckle and runs and lands a dropkick to Orton’s face at the Ladder, Jeff rolls around holding his knee as Orton is out beside the Ladder, Jeff however manages to stand-up and limps to the Ladder, he rolls outside and puts it across the ring apron and the crowd barrier. He grabs Orton and lands a suplex over the ropes right onto the Ladder, Orton is laying across the Ladder as Jeff climbs up the other Ladder.)

Jim Ross: “Oh no King, you don’t think…?”

Jerry Lawler: “We seen this at Wrestlemania 23 JR, and Jeff had to leave the match. Jeff think of your career, think of the WWE Championship. JR, Jeff could win the WWE Title right now!”

(Jeff does his Gunz taunt and is about to jump when Orton moves, the crowd begin booing. Orton goes over to the bit beside the announcing table and grabs his WWE Title. Jeff is sitting on the Ladder as Orton walks around the ring and begins walking up the stage. The booing continues as Orton disappears behind the stage. Jeff climbs off of the Ladder, he goes through the middle rope and walks across the Ladder across the apron before stepping into the crowd. Jeff makes his way through the crowd and through a door, a “RAW Live! Split Screen!” appears on the titantron as Jeff is showing going through doors and Randy Orton grabs a bag out of his Locker Room, Orton leaves the room and gets to the exit, he opens the door but Jeff Hardy is standing there. Orton is shocked and gets a hard right land, he lands another, Orton goes for the clothesline, Jeff ducks and lands another right hand, which sends Orton rolling out of the door. Orton is on the concrete as Jeff grabs Orton and slams his head off of a dumpster, Jeff then throws Orton right into Orton’s custom-made “RKO” car in the parking lot breaking the windshield. Jeff grabs Orton and grabs his head and begins walking him back to the arena, going through the doors they both end up in the crowd as Jeff lands a right hand, followed by another and another as Orton falls about, Orton gets another right which sends him over the crowd barrier, Jeff stands on the barrier next to the stage and waits for Orton to get up, Jeff runs on the barrier and flips into a mid-air type Swanton Bomb except his legs are tucked in, he connects with Orton but his knee is hurting again as he rolls around holding it. Jeff gets to his feet and limps across to the apron and rolls into the ring. He gets the Ladder and climbs up it. Taking each step slowly and gingerly because of his knee. Jeff gets to the top, he sees Orton get into the ring and flips landing the Whisper in the Wind, which gets a huge pop from the crowd. Jeff again rolls around holding his knee, which just connected with Orton’s head, Orton is down and out yet again. We get another “RAW Live! Replay!” screen as we see the huge Whisper in the Wind by Jeff Hardy, we then see it in slow motion. Jeff limps to his feet and then leans on the ring ropes, Jeff pulls his hair out of his face as a “Hardy” chant begins, Jeff sets up the Ladder, Orton is on his feet and pushes Jeff off of the Ladder, Jeff lands on his feet and gets hit with a huge hard clothesline on Jeff Hardy, Jeff flips all the way over and lands on his front on the mat. Orton then falls to the mat, his hands holding him up poised for the RKO, he begins banging the mat with his fists, Jeff manages to get to his feet and turns around into the RKO! But Jeff pushes Orton’s back as Orton falls right to the mat on his back. Jeff seizes the opportunity and comes off of the ropes, he grabs Orton’s head with his arms and then flips over, Orton in the sitting position hits his face right into his own knees. Orton falls back holding his nose as Jeff sits there the expression on his face shows that he is in pain. Jeff manages to get to his feet and goes out over the apron, Orton has grabbed the Ladder just as Jeff jumps onto the top rope and jumps right at Orton but Orton throws the Ladder as Jeff receives the Ladder shot right in the gut, Jeff falls banging his legs off of the mat as the crowd can clearly sense that Jeff is in pain. Orton smirks and picks the Ladder up, he grabs the Ladder from across the ring apron and the barrier and puts it into the ring. He sets both Ladders up beside each other this time to ensure that he doesn’t make a mistake in the positioning of the Ladder. He puts one foot on one Ladder and the other foot on the other Ladder and begins climbing up, Jeff is still down holding hit gut having some trouble to breathe. Orton gets to the middle, Jeff Hardy in the meantime has got out of the ring and has grabbed a Ladder from under the apron and goes into the ring with it, he sets it up beside the other two Ladders. Orton ‘doesn’t notice’ as he is too busy climbing the Ladder. Jeff gets up the top of the Ladder, Orton has been at the top of the Ladder for at least five seconds positioning himself. Much like he ‘tried to’ do at Wrestlemania X-7 Jeff walks across the top of the Ladders and then jumps at Orton, the Ladders become unsteady as Orton catches Jeff, he then crotches Jeff on the top of one Ladder. Orton is sitting on the Ladder and picks up Hardy, he THEN LANDS A SICKINING RKO OFF OF THE LADDER RIGHT TO THE RING MAT!!!

Jim Ross: “Oh… King what an RKO, Randy Orton just landed an RKO off of the Ladder on Jeff Hardy!”

Jerry Lawler: “I don’t think these guys can continue this match JR, both men are down and out.”

(We see another “RAW Live! Replay” in which we see it from the ceiling camera looking down from above. We see it first in normal motion followed by the slow-motion shot. Both men are out on the ring mat. Barely able to move, Randy Orton stands limping holding his back he makes his way over to the fallen Ladder, he takes a look at Jeff Hardy and then climbs up the Ladder, slower than ever before in the match. Orton barely reaches the second rung as Jeff begins moving holding his hands onto the bottom rope dragging himself along, Jeff rests on the bottom rope. Orton gets to the third rung and soon begins climbing faster, Jeff notices and uses the little energy he has left to stand up but he falls to one knee again as Orton reaches the middle rung, the referee checks on Hardy but Hardy manages to stand up and limp across to the Ladder, he also begins climbing the Ladder and gets to the middle as Orton is reaching the top, Orton begins unhooking the belt and almost does as Jeff manages to reach the top he lands a hard right hand, Jeff then climbs up to the very top and flips over grabbing Orton’s legs and landing a HARD sun-set flip. The crowd begin an expletive chant that I’m sure every fan is familiar with. Orton begins shaking from the impact, Jeff sits up but then just falls to the mat. After just taking an RKO to the mat Jeff has just landed that sunset flip from the top of the Ladder. We see yet another “RAW Live! Replay” which shows the ceiling camera looking down from above, we see the sunset flip again in normal motion and then in slower motion. Jeff sits up and holds his neck, obviously feeling the pain. Jeff gets to his feet using the ropes, he leans back against the ropes. Jeff begins climbing the Ladder after setting it up but Orton is also up now and grabs Jeff’s lower attire and pulls him down, a fist-fight begins both men continue until the tiredness that has occurred throughout the match sets in, both men fall into the ropes, they charge and then Jeff charges, Orton hits the kick to the gut and lands a sick pile driver to Jeff. The crowd begin that expletive chant once more as Jeff rolls around holding his head, Orton gets to his feet stumbling about before falling to one knee his hands clutching the rungs of the Ladder. Orton begins climbing barely able to climb he gets to the second rung with his feet and has to stand for a second before starting his climb again, Jeff pulls Orton down and lands a right followed by another and another before landing a clothesline to Orton which sends him over the top rope then to the outside of the ring. Jeff then does a plancha right to the outside on Orton the crowd are going crazy as Jeff stands up and taunts, he picks up Orton and lands the Twist of Fate running on adrenalin he rolls into the ring but the match and beating begins to take it’s toll on Hardy as he falls at the Ladder, holding his knee which must be throbbing by now. Jeff begins the climb up the Ladder and gets to the second rung before just falling off through tiredness, Jeff again gets up and slower than before begins climbing up to the second rung, then he continues climbing and reaches the middle of the Ladder. Jeff puts his head on his forearm before climbing up more. Orton rolls into the ring and pushes the Ladder, Jeff sees and jumps off onto Orton’s shoulders in the Power bomb position, he lands a quick hurricanrana. Both men are down again as the Ladder is leaning against the ring ropes. Jeff landed on his knee at the end of the hurricanrana and holds it rolling around in more pain, Orton is on his front after rolling over also feeling the effects of the quick hurricanrana. Jeff rolls outside of the ring and grabs a Steel Chair, he enters the ring and waits for Randy Orton to get up, Orton gets hit right on the temple with it which allows the crowd to react with another collective ‘ooooooooooo’ Jeff throws the chair down to the ring mat.)

Jim Ross: “You can see it in his face King, Jeff wants this, he wants to be WWE Champion. He’s taken an RKO from the Ladder but he is still trying to bring himself to climb the Ladder and become WWE Champion.”

Jerry Lawler: “Jeff has guts, or he did have before Randy threw that Ladder at them but Jeff has real heart, he has such desire but JR what a chair shot to Randy Orton right there.”

(Jeff sets up the Ladder and climbs up now quicker than before, feeding on the adrenalin Jeff reaches the top of the Ladder fairly quickly, Jeff jumps onto the belts after realising that Orton and himself have had trouble retrieving the belt from the top of the Ladder. Jeff is hanging from the belts. Randy moves the Ladder as Jeff is hanging there, Randy sets up the Ladder behind Jeff rather urgently and speeds up the Ladder, he jumps going for the RKO to Jeff from the belts but Randy’s arm’s slip and he goes crashing to the mat. Jeff looks up at the title and then down at Randy Orton, Jeff just then flips over from the belts and connects with a HUGE SWANTON BOMB FROM THE BELTS TO RANDY ORTON BELOW ON THE RING MAT. The crowd start ‘that chant’ again as Jeff stands up after the impact holding his back in pain, almost running before falling banging the mat holding his back, Randy Orton rolls under the bottom rope out of the ring to the outside ring mat. A ‘This is Awesome’ chant begins as we are shown another RAW Replay! Live split-screen where we see Randy going for the RKO from the ceiling camera and then the Swanton Bomb, we are then shown the same series of moves in slow motion. Now, Randy Orton is too his feet. The Swanton doing more damage to Jeff than him, Randy in what we can assume is anger pulls the table top back off of the announce table which was just put back on after Triple H did it, he pulls the camera’s out, he then scrambles the wires off of the announcers table. Orton takes another Steel Chair but Jeff just lands a baseball slide knocking the chair into Orton which sends Orton back onto the announce table. Jeff then climbs onto the table and picks Orton up and goes for the Twist Of Fate, Orton however reverses out and throws Jeff off of the table at the ring steps, Jeff lands on his feet though and turns, Orton tries for the cross body but misses Jeff and goes right into the steel steps that were still not fully put together after the last match. Orton screams out as Jeff picks up Orton and throws him into the ring. Jeff enters the ring and lands a hard leg drop followed by three more, Jeff waits for Orton to arrive at his feet and as Orton turns he kicks him in the gut and goes for the Twist of Fate but Orton pushes him out against the ropes, Jeff jumps onto the ropes and lands a hard springboard elbow to the face of Randy Orton. Orton stumbles back checking sure his nose and mouth are not bleeding, Jeff gets back up and walks right into a hard backbreaker by Orton, Jeff is laying across Orton’s knee and thigh as Orton slaps Jeff’s chest numerous times, Jeff winces in pain each time Orton does this, Orton continues to do it until he slaps his thigh when Jeff moves. Orton is angry and as Jeff is on his knee’s he lands ‘The Running Kick to the Head’ Jeff falls backwards flat-out on the mat. Orton knows he now has this one in the bag and he sets up the Ladder, he begins climbing it slowly as he knows he has plenty of time, the kick that has took out many Legends including Dusty Rhodes and has also taken out John Cena’s dad has now taken out Jeff Hardy. Orton smirks as he reaches the middle rung before continuing his climb to the top of the Ladder and the WWE Championship. Orton mouths to Jeff, ‘I’m your Champion!’ Orton continues climbing and reaches the top, he yanks the belt again and again but the belt will not come loose, Jeff manages to climb the Ladder though to the shock of Orton, Jeff grabs Orton’s trunks and just slams him right down to the mat. Orton is out on the mat, Jeff looks up at his dream and possible destiny. He begins climbing the Ladder as the crowd get behind Jeff Hardy, ‘Hardy, Hardy’ the emotion is there from the crowd they are ready to Jeff Hardy get the strap.)

Jim Ross: “HE’S GONNA’ DO IT KING! HE’S GONNA’ DO IT! JEFF HARDY IS GONNA’ WIN THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP! GO ON SON, GO ON JEFF YOU CAN DO IT! C’MON JEFF! YOU CAN DO IT JEFF, JUST DO IT!”

Jerry Lawler: “Ever since he was a kid Jeff dreamed and aspired not only to be a WWE Wrestler but someday to be a WWE Champion. Can he here tonight on the 28th of January 2008, can Jeff Hardy achieve his dream!”

Jim Ross: “DAMMIT JEFF JUST TAKE THE TITLE, C’MON JEFF!”

(Randy Orton bounces off of the ropes, Jeff has no time to react as Orton pushes the Ladder, JEFF FALLS RIGHT OUT OF THE RING RIGHT THROUGH THE ANNOUNCING TABLE. THE CROWD DO THE EXPLETIVE CHANT ONCE MORE! JEFF IS OUT AS HE WENT THROUGH THE ANNOUNCING TABLE.)

Jim Ross: “NO! GOOD GOD NO! JEFF HARDY JUST WENT RIGHT THROUGH OUR ANNOUNCE TABLE!”

Jerry Lawler: “I’m… I’m speechless JR!”

(Randy Orton smirks as he climbs up the Ladder, he gets to the Ladder and then reaches the top, after a 20 second struggle in a karate type motion Randy chops the belt as it unhooks. Orton grabs the belt.)

Winner: Randy Orton at 24:50

Jim Ross: “Damn! Orton has done it!”

Jerry Lawler: “We need EMT’s out here for Jeff Hardy JR… but now it is confirmed that it will be Randy Orton defending his WWE Championship against John Cena at Wrestlemania 24.”

(Randy Orton grabs a microphone.)

Randy Orton: “John Cena… John Cena, listen up. I’ve beaten the best, I’ve beat Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Triple H, Jeff Hardy just to name a few and in Florida Cena at Wrestlemania 24… I WILL beat you!”

(Orton poses with the belt as we go off of the air.)

Re: WWE: Rumble Aftershock

Not liking how you stole my Raw GIF from my thread, my idea and just resized it. Also not liking how you use just red for the whole entire show instead of using a different color for dialog, matches and whatnot. Makes it hard to read and just a big wall of red text that doesn't look very appealing to read.
