The concept of my fed is is just a simple WWE one. I am starting with a randonmization draft. The Draft results will be in the next post. I'll start off with a WWE.Com video of Vince McMahon explaining the draft and changes made to the Championship landscape.
Vince: Good morning, tomorrow a draft will take place. Superstars are drafted at random. To further explain this, a GM will select a random Superstar from the tumbler and the ball that the GM selected is the Superstar they drafted. But that is tomorrow. Today, I have a big announcements concering titles. The intercontinetal Title has been discontinued and the U.S. Title will be defended on every brand. Same applies for the Tag titles. And one more note, Ric Flair is the new GM of RAW. I wish the best of luck to GM's in tomorrow's draft. Oh and this draft is only for the main event Superstars. Thank you.
RAW kicks off live from Pittsburgh, PA.
JR: We are live in Pittsburgh, and we are ready to kick off RAW. Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler here at ringside to call the action.
King: No doubt JR, and look. Our GM is in the ring. Lets listen to what he has to say.
The crowd is really excited to see Ric Flair.
Ric: Whooo! Man, it's great to be back in this ring. I may not be an active wrestler anymore....but I am the GM of this brand. I promise you that I will do the best job I can as the GM. You know...when Vince called me and made this offer to me, I said "hell yes". Whoo!..........Enough about me, the real story is the WWE Championship. 'Cause tonight, we are going to determine the number one contender for Triple H's WWE Championship.
Triple H's music hits and he makes his way down to the ring.
HHH: First off....I like to congratulate you on your new position.
Ric: Thank you.
HHH: Secondly....I gonna tell you point blank, there is not a Superstar alive in that locker room that can beat me for this.
Triple H holds his title up.
Batista's music hits and he appears on the stage.
Batista: Did I hear you correctly? You said their isn't anybody alive in the locker room that can beat you for that WWE Championship.
HHH: That's what I said and don't you forget it Big Dave.
Batista: Your forgetting something Triple H.
HHH: What's that?
Batista: You have never have beaten me for the big one. Remember Wrestlemania 21? When I beat you to win the World Heavyweight Championship, Naitch you were there.
Ric: Yes, I was.
HHH: Don't even go there Dave. That was a long time ago.
Batista: Don't wanna go down memory lane? Then stop running your mouth. Bottom line is...I am challenging you for the WWE Title.
HHH: Bring it on Big Dave.
Ric: Then it's decided. Triple H versus Batista for the WWE Championship at Backlash.
Triple H holds up the WWE Title as Batista looks on.
**Commercial Break**
JR: Wow, what a match we got for Backlash King.
King: Yeah, The Game versus The Animal for the gold. I can't wait!
Match 1: Mickie James vs. Melina
This match starts off Melina backing Mickie into a corner, elbows her, grabs her by the hair and throws her halfway across the ring. Then Melina applies a sleeper hold. Mickie has a difficult time getting out of it but she elbows her way out of the hold. Then Mickie nails her with an explosive hurrcanrana. Mickie goes for the cover gets a 2 count.
JR: King, are you drooling?
King: Um........What?
Mickie applies an armbar but Melina escapes the hold. Melina trips Mickie and goes for the California Dream. Mickie is in pain while in this submission, she can't move due to nature of the hold. Mickie eventually taps out.
Winner: Melina
Backstage Ric Flair talks to Triple H
Ric: Hey man, your in the main event tonight.
HHH: Against who?
Ric: It's going to be you teaming up with Shawn Michaels to take on Batista and Jeff Hardy
HHH: That's good, that is good (he walks away)
Ric: Whoo!
**Commercial Break**
Match 2: MVP versus Rey Mysterio
MVP smacks Rey in the face and Rey smacks him back. MVP knocks Rey down, goes for a leg drop but missed. With MVP seated, Rey goes for a dropkick and connects. Rey goes for a cover and gets a 2 count. Rey hits a moonsault and goes for the cover, near fall. Rey connects with spinning leg drop and goes for another cover! Another near fall. Rey gets frustrated and gets MVP on his feet. But MVP explodes with punches, then clotheslines Rey out of the ring.
**Commercial Break**
Rey is now back in the ring, taking shots from MVP while being backed up in the corner. MVP goes for the Playa's Boot but misses. Then Rey trips MVP into the second rope and connects with the 619! Rey hits the West Coast Pop and has a pin 1....2.....MVP kicks out! Rey cannot believe it!
JR: I cannot believe my eyes, MVP kicked out!
Rey went on the top rope, but MVP dropkicks the ropes, causing Rey to fall flat on his face....knocking him out. MVP covers Rey. 1.....2....3. After the match was over MVP spat in Mysterio's face.
JR: Come on, was that really necessary!
King: Talk about disrespect.
Winner: MVP
**Commercial Break**
Match 3: Carlito & Santino Marella vs. Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes
Rhodes and Marella started things off. Santino was pretty much taunting and was caught off guard when Rhodes smacked him hard in the face. Santino made the tag to Carlito. So Carlito and Cody were going at it. Cryme Tyme came down to watch the match a little closer. Santino saw them and got in their faces. He told them to get their "gangster asses" out of here. Then Shad slapped Marella in the face without the referee seeing. Carlito went to make tag and realized Santino wasn't there. Then Rhodes went for the roll up. 1..2...3.
Winners: Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly
Shad & JTG pointed at Rhodes and Holly as they made their way backstage.
Todd Grisham was interviewing Ric Flair.
Todd: I am standing by with the GM of RAW Ric Flair and Ric the question is have you made an attempt in acquiring The Undertaker.
Ric: We are in contract talks as we speak. So, The Undertaker may be on RAW in a matter of time.
**Commercial Break**
Match 4: JBL vs. DH Smith
JBL basically beat down Smith in a short match that ended with the Clothesline from Hell by JBL.
Winner: JBL
Triple H and Batista are shown preparing for the main event which is next.
**Commercial Break**
Match 5: Batista & Jeff Hardy vs. DX
Jeff Hardy and HBK start off, Shawn hits Jeff a couple times and goes for the Fame Asser but Jeff counters. While Shawn is down, Jeff goes for the Springboard Moonsault but misses. Both men are down and make tags to their respective partners. Champion and challenger go at it with flying fists and Triple H connects with a Spinebuster which gets him all fired up. Jeff Hardy gets in Triple H's way and he knees Jeff in the midsection. Batista then spears the hell out of The Game. HBK gets in the ring and goes after Batista and HBK gets thrown out of the ring. After Shawn gets back up, Jeff clotheslines him over the barricade. Meanwhile, Triple H and Batista are beaten the hell out of each other in the ring. Batista and Triple H go out of the ring. Triple H throws Batista violently into the steel steps. Triple H takes Batista over by the announce table. Then out of nowhere, Batista Spinebuster's Triple H through the announce table!
JR: Oh my god, move King.
Batista is holding his shoulder as he is in pain from being thrown into the steps. The referee calls for the bell as RAW goes off the air.
Winner: No Contest
