Starting off the show CM Punk and Paul Heyman enter the ring, CM Punk has his Intercontinental Championship and Money in the Bank case with him. Heyman tells the crowd to respect CM Punk and then hands the mic off to Punk. Punk cuts a promo about what happened last week on Smackdown and talks about how ROH emphasizes on wrestling while WWE emphasizes on sports entertainment. How that nobody else in that locker room could do a sixty minute match like he did many times in ROH. He finally introduces Team ROH. The members include Paul Heyman, himself, Takeshi Morishima, Mick Foley, Terry Funk, Austin Aries, Samoa Joe, Nigel McGuinness, Jimmy Jacobs, Tyler Black and Chris Hero. William Regal interrupts the promo and informs CM Punk that he will be defending his Intercontinental Championship tonight against one of the members of Team WWE. Regal also says that Punk will not know who his opponent is until match time. Regal also mentions that if any of the fellow Team ROH members interfere in the match they will be punished. Raw fades into a commercial with Punk staring down Regal.

**Number One Contenders Match**
Christopher Daniels defeated Jay Lethal via pinfall and will face the Intercontinental Champion at Summerslam for the title (13:54)

Samoa Joe and AJ Styles are shown backstage in their locker room. Samoa Joe asks Styles to join Team ROH but Styles says no and says that he is with WWE now, it's time to move on and says that his days in ROH are over. Joe gets angry. Styles says "Look man, we've got a match tonight and if you want to win, we need to work together. We're the World Tag Team Champions and if you want to remain a champion, then this Sunday we need to work together to keep these titles. We need to push aside this Team ROH vs Team WWE stuff and work together if you want to remain champions" Joe storms out of the locker room as Styles mumbles some words to himself.

Motor City Machine Guns defeated Age of the Fall via pinfall (10:27)

JBL comes out to the ring after the ring clears from the match. He talks about his match this Sunday with Shawn Michaels. Eventually Shawn Michaels comes down to the ring and stands face to face with JBL. Shawn says that this Sunday he won't give up without a fight and that JBL will be the one to be destroyed. Shawn turns around to walk away, quickly turns around and nails JBL with Sweet Chin Music. Raw fades into a commercial with Shawn looking down at JBL.

**Intercontinental Championship**
CM Punk defeated William Regal via submission to retain (16:07)

CM Punk continues to beat down Regal after the match is over. After he finishes the beat down he grabs his Intercontinental Championship and a mic. He cuts a promo about his match against Christopher Daniels this Sunday at Summerslam and how he will walk out as champion. Raw fades into a commercial with Punk holding up the belt.

Austin Aries defeated Chris Jericho via pinfall (9:45)

Aries cuts a promo about the WWE and their fans. He says that Team ROH will prevail and all the fans will bow down to them once they are victorious. Raw fades into another commercial.

We come back from commercial with Team 3D and Edge backstage. Edge tells Team 3D to take out Christian Cage tonight and then let Edge get the pinfall over him. Raw fades into a commercial with Edge and Team 3D agreeing and high fiving eachother.

**Main Event**
-Six Man Tag-
Team 3D/Edge defeated Samoa Joe/AJ Styles/Christian Cage via pinfall (19:02)

After the match Team 3D pull out a table from under the ring. They set it up on the outside near the ring apron. They they get some lighter fluid from under the ring. They cover the table with it then light the table on fire. Cage is laying outside the ring in a pool of his own blood with Joe/Styles laying in the ring. Team 3D pulls Cage up to his feet, stand him up on the ring apron in front of the table. Edge bounces off the opposite ropes in the ring and spears Cage off the apron through the flaming table. Edge surveys his damage as he holds up his WWE Championship. Team 3D and Edge stand victorious in the ring as Raw fades off the air.

At Summerslam there will be a eight man tag team match. It will be Team ROH consisting of Austin Aries, Takeshi Morishima, Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black vs Team WWE consisting of Motor City Machine Guns, Chris Jericho and William Regal.

Also Sabu will defend his Hardcore Championship against Terry Funk.

Smackdown's theme hits the arena and the crowd cheers as the camera pans around the arena. It stops and focuses on the stage as fireworks shoot up from the stage. It pans around the arena once again then stops focusing on the ring.

**Opening Segment**
Teddy Long is already in the ring.

Teddy Long - Welcome to Friday Night Smackdown and tonight in the main event it will be The Undertaker, Kane and Kurt Angle versus Matt Hardy, Rob Van Dam and Brock Lesnar in a Six Man Tag Match !!

But before Teddy could say anything else Paul Heyman walks out onto the stage with a mic in hand.

Paul Heyman - Whoa whoa whoa hold on a minute mister Theodore. Ya know I've been thinking backstage just what a terrible General Manager you have been. I mean when I was General Manager in 2004 I was the best General Manager Smackdown had ever seen. I made the matches that people actually wanted to see and ya know with me being the leader of the Ring of Honor invasion I was thinking how about tonight we have a little match. I pick a representative and you pick a representative and who's ever representative wins will be General Manager. What you say Theodore ?

Teddy Long - You're on !!

Paul Heyman - Tonight I regain what I've wanted back for the past four years !! Tonight you're reign as General Manager will end !!

Smackdown fades into a commercial with Heyman and Long staring eachother down.

**Backstage**
Matt Hardy is shown talking to a random woman in the hallway when Rob Van Dam walks up to him with his tag team championship on his shoulder.

RVD - Hey man just wanted to say congrats on making it into the Elimination Chamber match at Summerslam man. It's great that you're finally getting your shot but as you know I'm in the match as well and when it comes down to you and me, I'm not gonna show any mercy and I'm taking the World Heavyweight Championship.

Matt Hardy - Well thanks man that's great to hear from you but for your information, I'll be walking out as world champion. But ah I'll see ya out there tonight man. Thanks again

RVD and Matt shake hands then RVD walks off. Smackdown fades into a commercial again as Matt begins to talk to the woman again

Shelton Benjamin defeated John Morrison via pinfall (10:36)

**Promo**
Shelton Benjamin grabs his title belt from the referee then grabs the mic from Tony.

Shelton Benjamin - Next week here on Smackdown when I come back to Smackdown as United States Champion, Elijah Burke and myself are cashing in our rematch against RVD and Sabu for the WWE Tag Team Championships. And when we win our titles back, I'll be a double champion. AIN'T NO STOPPIN' ME NOW !!!!

All the sudden CM Punk's theme hits the arena and the crowd boos. Punk walks out onto the stage with the Intercontinental Championship around his waist and with a mic in hand and clapping. His theme fades away and he stops clapping.

CM Punk - Congrats on that impressive victory champ !! But as you can see here I'm also a champion, I'm the Intercontinental Champion which incase you didn't know is more prestigious as your title you're holding in your hand. See what I was thinking was how about this next Monday you come on over to my domain also known as Raw and ah show us all that you have what it takes to be a champion by going up against the very best wrestler in the WWE here today !! Non-Title of course...unless you have the guts to put your title on the line. Sure you could say that there's a chance that I could lose my title to Christopher Daniels this Sunday at Summerslam but I'm not worried, I'm gonna go through him like shit through a goose. So what ya say champ ?

Shelton Benjamin - Know what ? You're on and yeah, I am gonna put my title on the line but I guess you could also say that I have a chance that I could lose my title to whoever wins the number one contenders match later on tonight, but I'm not worried because I'm the Gold Standard and ain't nobody takin' this belt from me !!

CM Punk - Cool well ah see ya on Raw this Monday champ !!

Punk turns around to walk away but Shelton speaks again.

Shelton Benjamin - Hold on a minute, why don't you put your Intercontinental Championship on the line as well, huh champ ?

CM Punk - Well ah I mean Shelton let's be reasonable now. Ahh yeah you've got it man.

Takeshi Morishima jumps the barricade and gets into the ring behind Shelton. Takeshi takes down Shelton with a forearm to the back. Takeshi waits for Shelton to get up and then hits him with the Back Drop Driver. Punk does a thumbs up to Takeshi in approval. Takeshi grabs the United States Championship, gets out of the ring, walks up the ramp and hands it to Punk who then puts it over his shoulder. He shines it up a bit with his wrist and smiles. Punk laughs as Smackdown fades into a commercial.

**Match Three**
-Heyman's Representative vs Long's Representative-
Takeshi Morishima (Heyman) defeated Booker T (Long) via pinfall (11:29)

**Backstage**
Paul Heyman is shown backstage in a room standing in front of a Television.

Paul Heyman - Yes !! Haha !! I regain my throne as General Manager of Smackdown once again !!

Heyman walks out of the room, walks down the hall a bit and walks into Teddy Long's office. Teddy Long has a disappointed look on his face.

Paul Heyman - Well time to go, playa !! Haha !!

Punk walks into the office, grabs Teddy and pushes him out of the office. Punk then closes the door.

CM Punk - Congratulations Paul.

Heyman and Punk shake hands as they laugh.

Paul Heyman - Hey !! Nice belt !!

Punk looks down at the Intercontinental Championship around his waist and points at it.

CM Punk - What this one ? Or this one ?

Punk then looks over at the United States Championship on his shoulder. Punk and Heyman laugh as Smackdown fades into a commercial.

**Match Four**
-Number One Contenders Match-
Gregory Helms defeated Kofi Kingston via pinfall to face Shelton at Summerslam for the United States Championship (10:03)

**Backstage**
Paul Heyman and CM Punk are shown backstage in the General Manager's office.

Heyman - Know what I realized ?

Punk - What ?

Heyman - Something is missing in your little array of titles there. The WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship are nowhere to be seen. I've got an idea...

Heyman whispers into Punk's ear then they laugh as Smackdown fades into a commercial.

-Hardcore Championship-
Sabu defeated Marcus Cor Von via pinfall to retain (8:56)

After the match Terry Funk and Mick Foley ran down to the ring and beat down Sabu. RVD runs down to make the save. Smackdown fades into a commercial with RVD and Sabu standing in the ring.

**Main Event**
-Six Man Tag-
Matt Hardy, Brock Lesnar and RVD defeated The Undertaker, Kane and Kurt Angle via pinfall (17:43)

Smackdown fades off the air with Lesnar, Hardy and RVD staring eachother down in the middle of the ring with the World Heavyweight Championship on Lesnar's shoulder.

WWE has announced that it has re-signed former WWE superstar Muhammad Hassan to a full time contract. He is expected to make his return sometime in the next few weeks.
