Last week, Alex Shelly gave Kofi Kingston a run for his money. There were many twists and turns, featuring Shelly almost winning on numerous occasions. Will he be be out for a rematch, or will he persue other goals

It hAS been announced that John Cena will go against Edge, Randy Orton, and Undertaker in a # 1 contender match. How will Kurt Angle react? Will he extend his brawl with Cena from last week?

A video aires hyping Joe/ Umaga & the # 1 co. match.


Kurt Angle comes out & says he will beat whoever wins the # 1 contender match later tonight. He says he hopes it is John Cena so he can kick his ass! John Cena takes offence and comes out to get in Angle's face. Cena says he will win the # 1 contender's match & he will go to Madness & become the World champion. All of a sudden, Edge comes out & says he is being left out of the picture. Before he can say anything else, Randy Orton comes out. orton says he is being forgotten too, so tonight he will become the # 1 contender. The lights go out and come back with Orton gone!

We are shown highlights of what just happened.

Chris Jericho & CM Punk vs. Shelton Benjamin & mr. Kennedy

The match starts with some basic ware down moves by Kennedy on Punk, but it soon breaks down withBenjamin plunging to the outside on Punk. Jericho comes from behind and gives Kennedy the codebreaker. Jericho and Benjamin start brawling as we go to the commercial.

We come back with Punk escaping a bow and arow by Benjamin. Punk whips Benjamin into the corner & tags in Jericho, who hits a bulldog for 2. Jericho hit a senton and followed it up with a Forearm, but Benjamin tagged in Kennedy. Kennedy fired away with multiple strikes, then followed it up with a dropkick for 2. Kennedy then hit a green bay plunge while standing for 2. He then locked in a camel clutch.After a couple minutes, Jericho was able to standup and tag Punk, who gave kennedy a springboard clothesline. Kennedy tagged in Benjamin, who ran into a fisherman suplex for 2. Benjamin out of nowhere hit a t-bone suplex for 2, so he tagged Kennedy again. Kennedy picked up Punk, but out of nowhere Punk hit the Gts.Jericho then did a blind tag, but then Benjamin hit a pager for 3, even though he wasn't the legal man. Punk and Jericho argued.

We come back with Ric Flair in his office. He announces that tonight will be the dawning of a new era X-division ceremony. He will also announce the # 1 contender for the X-division title @ Madness.

We were shown a video of kofi/ shelly

The Motor City Machine Guns vs. Kofi Kingston & Jimmy Wang Yang.

The match began with some pretty fast paced action by all 4 men. It then got under control with Sabin & Yang in the ring. The action was fast and furious. It featured hurricanranas, multiple tags, kicks spring boards & double team moves. Finally Shelly gave Yang a Shelshock on the outside & went back in. Sabin hit a cradle shock and Shelly hit a frog splash for the 1-2-3!!!!

Jeremy Borash is interviewing Edge. He asks them if they have formed a team. Edge says no, they have formed an alliance. He also says he has no idea where Orton is.

Hernandez vs. Brother Ray

This match was scheduled to be LAX VS. Dudleys, but Homicide has to attend the X-ceremony. This match never got underway though, because Devon brought a table in and gave Hernandez a 3D through it. By the time Homicide ran out, Dudleys left. This was payback from last week.

We come back with Orton tied up. Undertaker walks in and tells Orton he must help Taker win. He also must make Edge help him too. Taker says if he doesn't do this, he wont let him go.Orton says he will, so Taker lets him go.

MVP vs. AJ Styles

The match started with a lock up, but AJ hit an arm drag. He ran at MVP, but he ran into a boot that turned him inside out.

We come back with MVP having a headlock on. Whenever AJ started to get out, MVP would do a boot, and lock in a new hold until AJ fired a dropkick. He then hit a springboard forearm, knocking MVP out of the ring. He followed it up with a flip tothe outside, but MVP moved and AJ crashed & burned. MVP rolled AJ into the ring for a close 2-count. MVP followed it up with a boot for another 2 count. MVP went for the Playmaker, but AJ ducked and rolled him up for 2. Out of nowhere, MVP then hit the playmaker for 3! After, he grabbed a chair, but AJ kicked it in his face & left the last man standing.

We come back with Randy Orton talking to Edge, telling him to help Taker win, but Edge told Orton to get a hold of himself. They decided to work together & take out the Undertaker.

We were shown highlights of Umaga vs. Rey from last week.

Jeremy Borash is interviewing Santino Marella and Umaga. Santino Says tonight Umaga will take out smoking Joe, just like Rey the sterio. Borash tried to correct him, but Umaga gave him the samoan spike.

The match begins with Umaga bulldozing Joe. Joe fights back, then hits a leg lariat. He follows that with a senton and a running kick. The a ction spilles to the putside as Umaga removes the announce table covering and the moniters on both announce tables. He then runs across, but Joe moves, so Umaga hits a lou thez press. The refery then counts to 10, and the match is a no-contest. Umaga is about to hit Joe with a moniter, bit Rey Mysterio comes to make the save.

Ric Flair is talking with Hardcore Holly, when Booker T comes in and demands a Canadian title shot against CM Punk. Chris Jerich comes in and he wants one too. Flair announces a # 1 contender match next week between the 2!

Crymetime vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch

The match starts with Murdoch and JTG. Murdoch hits about 5 clotheslines, then followes it up with a big boot. He tags in Cade, who hits an elbow from the top rope. JTG tries to tag in Shad, but Cade hits a vicious clothesline, turning JTG inside out. Cade & Murdoch then use some double team moves on JTG. Murdoch went for his version of the Canadian Destroyer, but JTG got the hot tag and Murdoch tags in Cade, who gets a spinning kick. Shad gives Murdoch a back drop, but runs into a sit out spinebuster by Cade for 3!

We come back with Angle telling Cena he hopes he wins, because this will be the chance to beat some sence into him.

Dawning of a new era X-division ceremony

Ric Flair came out and announced the entire X-division: Homicide, Sonjay Dutt, Rey Mysterio, Jimmy Wang Yang, Jeff Hardy, Alex Shelly, Matt Hardy, Chris Sabin, Elix Skipper, Kenny Dykstra, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Petey Williams, and the NGW X-Division champion Kofi Kingston. Flair said he would like to announce the new general manager of the X-division. Someone to control their matches, someone to keep them in check. Someone who has been around the X-division forever, someone to add prestige, and someone to teach the younger stars. He announced the 2 general managers : Sabu and Rob Van Dam!!!

Flair left and RVD took the mic. He said he would be the speeker and Sabu would be the trainer. He announced a # 1 contender battle royal for next week, he announced a new X-division Tag Team Championship, and he announced that he has signed 4 free agents. They are Matt Sydal, Delirious, Super Crazy, and Psicosis. He has traded them for Sonjay Dutt, Elix Skipper, Kenny Dykstra, and Sonjay Dutt.

Main Event

# 1 Contender match:
Undertaker vs. Randy Orton vs. Edge vs. John Cena

It started out with Taker going after Orton while Cena watched and Edge jumped on his back. Edge had a sleeper on Taker while Cena attacked Orton in the corner. Taker stood up and jumped back, squashing Edge. He then threw Cena out of the ring and attacked Orton again with straight right hands. At this point, Kurt Angle went on the stage and watched the match, while bickering with Cena. Taker was still beating up Orton, when Edge hit an Edge-o-matic. Then Orton and Edge started attacking Taker. Cena came in and gave Edge a blockbuster, but fell short into an inverted backbreaker by Orton

We come back with Orton and Taker fighting on the apron. During the break, Cena gave Edge a bulldog on the outside. Anyway, Cena knocked Orton and Taker off the apron. He then followed it by giving Orton the STFU on the outside, but you cant win out there. Out of nowhere, Edge speared Cena and rolled him into the ring for 2. He then locked on the Edgecater, while Taker gave Orton a chokeslam through an announce table. Edge then ran out and got a last ride through the table! Taker went back into the ring but Cena gave him a 1-2-3! The show went off the air with Cena and Angle staring down.

The main event of the night was Randy Orton vs. Undertaker. Earlier in the night, Orton & Edge came out to challenge Taker to a handicap match at Madness, but Taker came out and challenged Orton tonight! He also said he would face them at Madness, but he would find a partner. And at the end of the night, taker had defeated Orton, then pointed at Edge.

Also, Kurt Angle went into Ric Flair's office and demanded the night off. Flair said okay and also gave Cena the night off. He then announced Cena would face Cena at Madness in a Steel Cage match & announced pick your poison between the 2 next week!!!

The X-Division battle royal came down to Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin , the Motor City Machine Guns. Shelly had Sabin beat, but he stalled for too long & Sabin got the quick win. Shelly was very frustrated, but later he went to Sabin and said he deserves the title shot. He then left and Kofi Kingston came in and wished Sabin good luck. RVD then announced LAX vs. Hardys vs. Motor City Machine Guns vs. Kofi & Lethal in an elimination match next week!

Not to mention the # 1 contender match for the Canadian Championship between Booker T & Chris Jericho. It was a great match and was very back and forth. In the end, jericho got the win with the lionsault & stared down CM Punk. Booker was on a rampage backstage and he attacked MVP, making him leave on a stretcher.

Also, a brawl broke out in the ring beteen Joe & Umaga after Santino had some choice words. In the end, security has to break them up as Mysterio announces he will be in Joe's corner at Madness to keep Santino in check. Santino was furious.

Also in an 8-man tag match: Cade, Murdoch, Kennedy & Benjamin vs. Crymetime, and Dudleys. Dudleys and Kennedy & Benjamin ended up brawling to the back and Crymetime got the win over Cade & Murdoch, making it 1-1 between the 2 teams.
