The Rock N' Rave Infection defeats The Latin American Xchange in 10:07.

A brawl broke out between all four men. Jimmy Rave & Hernandez ended up on the outside of the ring. In the ring Lance Hoyt sends Homicide off the ropes. Homicide stops himself on the rope as Hoyt unusually attempted a dropkick & got nothing but air. With Homicide in the ropes, Hoyt on his back, Referee Andrew Thomas distracted with Rave & Hernandez. Christy Hemme took her chance. Hemme jumped up onto the ring apron & hit Homicide with a low-blow. Homicide stumbled forwards & got hit with a pump-handle slam from Lance Hoyt. The masked Latino Members comes from the crowd & knocks out Christy Hemme with the slap-jack as Hoyt gets the three count in the ring.

After the match, Jim Cornette made his way out to the stage to deal with the man-on-woman violence that has taken place over the last few weeks & again here tonite. Cornette demanded the Latino Member stop being a coward & remove the mask to take his punishment like a man. LAX obliged & revealed Shelley Martinez. Jim Cornette, left embarrassed, quietly left the ring area & returned backstage.

Backstage we had a beer drinking contest pitting the beer drinking champion Eric Young against former champion "Cowboy" James Storm. With Eric Young leading the contest tried to cheat by pouring the beer onto his face rather than drinking it. Rudy Charles saw this & disqualified James Storm. A tipsy Eric Young celebrated with his spinner title belt until he got cracked in the head with a beer bottle, but not by James Storm. Instead it was Storm's former tag partner Chris Harris. Storm offered Harris a beer & after a slight delay, Harris accepted it.

In the second match of the evening, Kaz defeated Black Reign in just 4:51 with the Wave of the Future. Kaz was clearly pissed off going into the match & as a result, Reign got hardly any offence as he was dominated by the young up-and-comer.

After the match Kaz was keen to extract some more revenge as he picked up Darkness Falls & took aim. Fortunately for Reign, RelliK made the save with a steel chair from behind. Reign & RelliK proceeded to beat Kaz down until security pulled them apart.

In a backstage interview, Robert Roode gave Ms. Brooks a warning about the up-coming match. Roode told Brooks that her job depended on him winning.

Booker T & Wife Sharmell beat Robert Roode & Ms. Brooks in 8:40. The finish came when Booker T his Robert Roode with an Axe Kick but instead of covering, gave the fans a Spinarooni. This delay gave Roode a chance to roll over & tag the unwilling Ms. Brooks into the match. Booker was forced to tag his wife Sharmell in for the first time. Brooks tried to tag back out but Roode wasn't on the apron. Roode yelled at Brooks to get the job done. Ms. Brooks has had enough & gave Roode a one fingered salute before lying down for Sharmell.

After the match Roode gave chase to Brooks but all he got was a roundhouse kick from Booker T.

Backstage with James Mitchell & Judas Mesias. Mitchell promised to reveal Abyss' secret to the world tonite & the only way he wouldn't, was if Abyss joined Mitchell again.

Judas Mesias defeats Abyss in 17:57 in a brutal & bloody match. Mesias got the victory when he hit Abyss with Straight to Hell onto the broken glass on the steel ring steps.

After the match, Mesias wrapped the barbed wire rope around the neck of Abyss & held him up for Mitchell. Mitchell got on the mic & asked if Abyss was with him or against him. Before Abyss could answer "The War Machine" Rhino ran to the ring & chased off Mitchell before fighting off Mesias. Abyss' secret remains safe, for now.

Crystal is backstage with an irate Robert Roode. Roode fires Ms. Brooks on-the-spot. Brooks doesn't stay away for long & tell Roode that she doesn't care as she already has a new client. Roode demands to know who it is, Brooks says he'll find out soon enough.

Awesome Kong beat Gail Kim for the TNA Knockout's Championship in 21:32. Gail Kim did not go down without a fight in this No DQ Match as it took FOUR Awesome Bombs to keep her from kicking out!!! Gail did everything she could with as many weapons she could find but in the end the beast of a woman was too much to handle. Velvet Sky & Angelina Love tried in vain to help Gail Kim but both met a similar fate.

As Awesome Kong celebrated in-ring with her title, ODB came out to the stage but didn't come any closer.

Kurt Angle is backstage & is full of confidence despite having to face Christian Cage later in the nite. When JB asked why he was so confidant, Angle said Karen has taken care of business again but didn't expand on what the business was. Kurt left the locker room before JB could ask anymore.

"Black Machismo" Jay lethal & The Motor City Machine Guns beat Team 3D & Johnny Devine in an Ultimate X match in 29:58.

Five men ended up incapacitated at the finish. Chris Sabin was first to be taken out when he received a 3D on the ramp way. Next was Devon who got knocked off the top rope by Johnny Devine by accident. Devon crashed thru a table on the outside of the ring.

Brother Ray was taken out of the match by the X-Division stars including Sonjay Dutt, Senshi & Shark Boy. Ray was whipped all the way up the ramp & backstage with leather studded belts in a revenge act for what happened over the past few months.

With three men left they all made their way up to the top of the Elevation X structure, being used in place of the steel cables. Alex Shelley took himself & Johnny Devine out of the match to leave Machismo unopposed at the top. Shelley, having left his brain at home tonite, went for & connected with a Shellshock off the Elevation X Structure in the biggest holy shit moment you are likely too see all year!

Machismo regained possession of his X-Division title but it wasnt easy.

Backstage again & Crystal is with Christian Cage. The Instant Classic kept it short tonite, simply saying he knows AJ will make the right decision.

Kevin Nash & Samoa Joe became the new TNA World Tag team Champions by defeating AJ Styles & Tomko in 25:47. The finish came when the two big men Tomko & Nash brawled to the outside of the ring, with Mark Johnson out of position, Joe took a steel chair & wrapped it around the head of Styles. Joe disposed of the evidence & covered Styles. Johnson gets back in & counts the three.

Joe grabs both title belts & leave the arena leaving Nash still brawling with Tomko.

As a groggy AJ Styles makes his way backstage he is met by JB who informs him it's decision time. Styles ignores JB & keeps walking & eventually out of the arena.

Kurt Angle defeated Christian Cage in an early match of the year contender after 42 minutes & 9 seconds. Both men had kicked out of each others finishers when Karen Angle got up onto the ring apron. With Earl Hebner distracted Kurt Angle hit Cage with a low blow. AJ Styles, back in the arena, hopped the security rail with a steel chair in hand. Styles swung for Angle who ducked & as a result Styles knocked Cage out cold. Angle hit Styles with an Olympic Slam the pinned Cage for a three count to retain his gold.

Kurt & Karen celebrate back up the ramp as Styles tries to revive Cage in the ring.

iMPACT! Preview

This Thursday on iMPACT! catch all the fall-out from TNA's first Pay-Per-View of 2008, Final Resolution, as we build towards Against All Odds on Feburary 10th.

At Final Resolution AJ Styles finally made a much delayed decision on wheater he was with the Angle Alliance or the Coalition. Styles chose to stick with Cage but he accidently cost Cage the match when trying to help. To try & make it up to his mentor, AJ Styles has asked for & been granted a one on one match with the TNA World Champion this week on iMPACT!

Jim Cornette decided to up the stakes aswell for this match. As whoever gets the victory will get to name the stipulation for the Main Event at Against All Odds when Christian Cage gets another crack at Kurt Angle. Will Styles give Cage a big advantage or will he be the downfall of the Instant Classic yet again?

Also on the broadcast, New TNA Womens Champion Awesome Kong will be in action as she faces Velvet Sky & Angelina Love in a 2 on 1 handicap match. With Gail Kim not cleared to wrestle her good friends have put themselves in the firing line. Will the unbeaten tag team take down the unstopable Kong? Or will they fall to the wayside like everyone else before?

Robert Roode can't be happy with Ms. Brooks after she lay down for Sharmell at Final Resolution. This was the last straw it seemed for Roode as he fired her moments later. Ms. Brooks didnt seem too concerned as she has already found a new client! Will she reveal his identity on Thursday? Or will Roode be left in the dark for longer?

Roode isnt the only unhappy camper in TNA right now. Kevin Nash was on the winning side in the TNA World Tag Team Title match at Final Resolution alongside Samoa Joe, but Nash doesnt have a title belt & Joe has two. Joe said a few weeks ago that the old guard needs to be pushed aside, is this Joe's way of going about that? Find out on Thursday on Spike TV.

In a suprising turn of events at Final Resolution, Chris Harris smashed a beer bottle over the head of Eric Young, then had a beer with former tag team partner James Storm. Storm is the man who nearly blinded Harris only a few months ago. Has Harris let by-gone's be by-gone's?

Backstage we see Christin Cage & AJ Styles heading towards the locker rooms. AJ is apologizing for what happened on Sunday. Cage trys to get him to stop as its not important anymore. Styles wants to make it up to Cage & says he will tonite against Kurt Angle. Styles says he convinced Jim Cornette to make it so that the winner of the match chooses what stipulation is going to be enforced in the re-match at Against All Odds. Cage seems a lot happier after hearing this & tells Styles that he made the right decision. He also said Kurt Angle would just use him. Cage then asks does AJ still have Cage's luggage.

The Rock N' Rave Infection defeated Triple X in 18:47.

Senshi literally kicks the hell out of Jimmy Rave on the outside while completely ignoring Andrew Thomas trying to convince him to stop. The distraction allows Christy Hemme to sneak up behind Elix Skipper in the ring & deliver a kick between the uprights. Skipper collapses to the mat as Lance Hoyt heads to the top rope. Hoyt comes off with a picture perfect moonsault for the three count.

An interesting note, BG James was on the ramp way for much of the match taking notes.

A James Mitchell video airs next during which Mitchell gives Abyss some more time to make his decision but he wants it soon. If he wants to know what is in store for him if he makes the wrong decision, he need just watch iMPACT! next week when Judas Mesias faces Rhino one on one.

Backstage to Kurt Angle's locker room next. Kurt is clearly angry at Styles decision to go with Cage & he takes it out on JB & then his wife Karen. Kurt demands to know what business Karen was "taking care of" on Sunday as it wasn't AJ Styles. Karen responds by telling Kurt he doesn't need to know anything right now, but will be happy with the result.

Awesome Kong defeated Velvet Sky & Angelina Love in 4:21.

During the match Mike Tenay informed us that Gail Kim had suffered severe bruising of her insides & is not clear to wrestle. Kong dominated the beauties from beginning to end & the result was never in doubt after Love missed a flying cross body from the top rope. Kong put the girls out of their misery by chokeslamming Love then hitting Sky with an Awesome Bomb on top of Love! After the match ODB came to the ring but stopped short of entering. Instead she made a title motion & walked away.

Robert Roode is backstage asking everyone & anyone if they know who Ms. Brooks new client is. Shark Boy did some miming before getting punched out & thrown into a wall by Roode. Skipper & Senshi just plain ignored Roode & continued talking to each other. Roode now getting angry runs into the LAX. Roode & Hernandez have a staredown but no punches are thrown. Roode comes across Petey Williams & Scott Steiner arguing next. Roode walks off in one direction but the camera man goes with Petey & Steiner instead. Before long they come to Jim Cornette's office & go in without knocking.

Kaz is already inside talking to Cornette. Cornette is heard telling Kaz to find a partner & the match is on. Cornette turns his attention to Steiner & Petey next. A lot o shouting followed with the main point being Steiner wants the world title match instead of the X-Division title match. Cornette makes a match for Against All Odds, Scott Steiner vs Petey Williams in a winner take all match. The winner gets both matches, the loser gets nothing.

Back to the ring area & new World Tag Team Champion Kevin Nash is on his way to the ring. Nash keeps it short & demands his title belt that he earned just as much as Joe. Joe makes his way out to the ring with both title belts, one over each shoulder. Nash again demands the belt that belongs to him but Joe doesn't look impressed. Joe simply dares Nash to come & take it. Nash doesn't & Joe soon leaves for backstage.

In the iMPACT! Main Event AJ Styles defeated Kurt Angle in 37 minutes & 01 second.

Kurt Angle thought he had the match won after an Olympic slam from the top rope but AJ somehow managed to kick out. Perhaps the thought of letting Christian down again drove him on. Having tried everything he could think of Angle got desperate & went to the top rope. Angle attempted a moonsault, it looked great, but Angle landed hard on the empty mat. Styles drags the hurting Angle to his feet & hits a Styles Clash. AJ, instead of pinning, then goes to the top rope. Styles shows Angle how its done with a perfect Spiral Tap for the three count.

The victory for Styles means he, or more likely Christian Cage, gets to name the stipulation for the World Title Match at Against All Odds.

iMPACT! Preview

In the main event this Thursday night, it will be The Latin American Xchange taking on the old rival in Team 3D as Jim Cornette assess the Tag Team Division to see who is worthy of a title shot. Both teams lost at Final Resolution, so both will be looking to ge back to winning ways. Team 3D lost poccession of the X-Division title, while L.A.X. suffered a suprising loss to the Rock n' Rave Infection. During last weeks Tag Team Match, BG James was on the rampway taking notes, is he scouting for a new partner after the arguements with Kip James? Tune in and find out!

Also in singles action "The War Machine" Rhino will go into battle with Judas Mesias. James Mitchell has promised Abyss, that what happens to Rhino will be Abyss' fate if he refuses to join him once again. Mitchell is seemingly holding the only ace in the deck, as he knows a secret about Abyss. What is the secret that Abyss is hiding? Will we find out Thursday night on SpikeTV?

"Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner will be in action also as he prepares for his match with Petey Williams at Against All Odds. Steiner has requested he face an X-Division star so he can show Jim Cornette why he should not have to lower himself to the X-Division. Upon hearing this, Sonjay Dutt asked for, and was granted, the match. Will Sonjay regret his decision? Find out on Thursday.

At Final Resolution, Chris Harris shocked us all by re-joining James Storm. On Thursday he must face the man he viciously attacked from behind with a beer bottle, Eric Young. Eric Young has often been made to look a fool but he now insists he is going to wise up to the wrestling industry. Will Young get revenge for the unprovoked attack? Tune in and find out!

Robert Roode went in search of Ms. Brooks last week, he came up empty handed. Ms. Brooks claims to have a new client & this has Roode more than upset. Roode tried unsuccessfully last week to find the identity of the client, will he have better look this week? You'll have to tune in to find out.

Also, Kevin Nash demanded his title belt last week, an un-impressed Joe dared Nash to come take it, will Nash take the challange? Find out on Thursday.

We kick off iMPACT! with Chris Harris & James Storm backstage drinking & talking but not making much sense. At one point Storm asks Harris what has he achievd since they spilt last year. When Harris struggles to answer Storm laughs it off & insists Harris needs him to be a success in this company. Harris looks less than impressed as the opening credits roll.

Sonjay Dutt def. Scott Steiner via Count out in 6:57.

Steiner dominated Dutt & could have pinned him several times only to pose for the crowd instead. This would come back to haunt him when Petey Williams came to the ring for a better view. Steiner argues with Petey when he should be worried about finishing the match. Steiner gets sent out of the ring to the floor after a dropkick from Sonjay. An irate Steiner gets to his feet & kicks the ring steps. Steiner turns towards Petey & gets water spat in his face via his opponent at Against All Odds. Steiner blows his top & forgets all about Sonjay as he gives chase to a retreating Petey Williams. Andrew Thomas counts Scott out & gives the unlikely win to Sonjay Dutt.

Sonjay has bearly left the ring when Samoa Joe makes his entrance. Joe says he'll be keeping it short. Joe first calls Kevin Nash a coward for not taking the challenge he made last week. Joe follows up by issuing another challenge, this one for Against All Odds. Samoa Joe & a partner of his choosing vs. Kevin Nash & someone who might show up. The winners become the new TNA World Tag team Champions. Joe finishes by giving Nash a one week deadline for an answer.

Chris Harris def. Eric Young in 12:41.

Eric Young came out to new entrance music for his match & looked dead serious. Quite a change from what we have come to know him as.

Chris Harris wrestled as if he was trying to prove something to Storm. Despite the new approach of Eric Young, The Former America's Most Wanted managed to outsmart him. Young was sent to the ring corner by Harris who proceeded to occupy Mark Johnson. Storm jumped onto the ring apron & went to hit Young over the head with a beer bottle but stopped & got back down. An irate Chris Harris questioned Storm. Storm replied with "It's not empty yet, I'm not wasting a good beer!" Eric Young attempted a crucifix by Storm held onto the leg of Harris as he landed on top of Young to get the three count.

After the match Storm finished his beer before smashing it over the head of Eric Young.

Next we have Robert Roode in the ring with a mic. Roode calls out his former manager Ms. Brooks & doesn't have to wait long for a reply. Roode again demands that Brooks reveal the identity of her new client. Brooks, looking confidant, issues a challenge instead. She tells Roode the only way he is going to find out who it is, is by facing him in a match at Against All Odds. Roode accepts without hesitation. Brooks, seeing how quickly he accepted, tries for another. Brooks proposes that if Roode losses, he gets on his hands & knees to kiss the feet of Ms. Brooks. Brooks reasoning was that she wanted to humiliate Roode, like Roode has humiliated her. Roode adds to the stipulation by proposing that if Roode wins, Ms. Brooks can never step inside a wrestling arena ever again. Brooks accepts without delay leaving Roode worried that he may have been set-up.

Judas Mesias def. Rhino via pin-fall in a twenty seven minute blood fest.

With both men bleeding heavily, Abyss made his way to the ring. Abyss wasted little time in wrapping a chair around the head of Mesias. Abyss laid out the tacks that he brought with him to the ring & waits for Mesias. Rhino asks Abyss to leave it to him. Abyss agree & goes to leave the ring, but changes his mind & hits a Black Hole Slam on Rhino onto the tacks! Mesias & Abyss come face to face. Abyss steps back & allows Mesias to pin Rhino for the win. Mitchell celebrates on the outside as Mesias & Abyss again go face to face.

Backstage we see Christian Cage walking with AJ Styles. Cage, as usual, is talking about himself while Styles carries all the luggage. Tomko interrupts Cage by grabbing Styles by the shirt & pinning him to the wall. Cage backs up, clearly not wanting to be next. Tomko tells Styles that he cost him the Tag team Titles. Tomko lets go of Styles & tells him he never forgets before walking off. Cage comes back into view & tells Styles to forget about Tomko, they have bigger problems, like Cage's match at Against All Odds for the TNA World Title.

In another part of the Arena, Karen Angle is walking & talking on a cell phone. We can't hear what she is saying but we can hear Kurt Angle telling JB to stop moving. Angle & JB are hidden under a table. Angle has a stethoscope & is trying to hear what his wife is saying. Unknown to Kurt, Karen went to the ladies room. JB pops his head up & tells Kurt that Karen is gone. Kurt blames JB for being too noisy & blowing their cover.

Team 3D def. L.A.X. in 14:21.

BG James was yet again on stage making more notes. He seems to be studying the division.

With the L.A.X. in complete control, the Rock 'n' Rave Infection took this as their chance to hit the ring. Christy Hemme jumped onto the apron to cause a distraction. Lance Hoyt slid into the ring but was spotted by Hernandez. Jimmy Rave comes from the other sides & scoops up Shelley Martinez before making a run for it. Homicide hears Martinez scream & gives chase. In the ring however, Hernandez sends Hoyt to the outside then turns into a 3D from Team 3D. Brother Ray makes the pin as Team 3D get back to winning ways.
