The opening Pyro is bearly finished when Scott Steiner makes his entrance as we kick of Against All Odds 2008.

A few months ago Scott Steiner won a briefcase in the Feast or Fired match. On iMPACT! he won a match giving him the option of swapping cases with another winner. He chose to swap with his opponent tonight, Petey Williams. Had he not done that swap, Scott Steiner would be in line for a World Title Match. However, Petey Williams now holds that case & Scott holds an X-Division Title Match. A few weeks ago the decision was made to have both men do battle one more time, with the winner gaining both cases.

Over the past few weeks both men have cost each other matches in a bid to get inside the others head. Mind games are over as they prepare for the real thing.

Petey Williams used his speed to his advantage every chance he got. Steiner came back with pure power. For a while it looked as if power was going to win it for Steiner, but then Petey hit a Canadian Destroyer from out of nowhere. With the beating Petey had taken from Steiner he couldn't get the cover right away. When he did make the pin however Steiner didn't kick out, but Petey didn't win either. Andrew Thomas had been pulled out of the ring by none other than Rick Steiner, making his TNA return. Rick climbed into the ring & knocked Petey unconscious with a lead pipe. Very similar to the way Scott Steiner had made his TNA debut a few years earlier.

Scott Steiner locked Petey into the Steiner Recliner as Rick dumped Andrew Thomas back into the ring. When Thomas recovered he seen the tap out from Petey Williams & declared Scott Steiner the winner & new holder of both briefcases. The Re-united Steiner Brothers celebrate in the ring as Petey Williams roll out of the ring still in severe pain.

We cut backstage where the L.A.X. have just arrived. They don't look to be in a good mood either. Hernandez is heard saying that he wants to cripple someone tonight. The Rock 'n' Rave Infection have quite a task ahead of them tonight.

At Final Resolution last month James Mitchell was ready to reveal Abyss' secret to the world when Rhino made the save. On iMPACT! James Mitchell gave Abyss a choice. Join him & Judas Mesias or Mitchell will reveal the secret sooner rather than later. A few weeks later Abyss made his decision. Abyss has re-joined the man who has made his life hell for countless months. Since then Abyss & Mesias have been close to blows but never actually did hit one another. In the meantime, Mitchell made a challenge to Rhino. A Two-on-two match at Against All Odds. But not just a normal tag team match. A Barbed Wire Massacre Tag team Match. Rhino accepted & went about finding a tag team partner.

On Thursday last, Rhino revealed his partner. Rhino will team up with Raven to face Abyss & Judas Mesias tonight. Also on iMPACT! any tension between Mesias & Abyss seems to be gone as Abyss turned down the chance of wrapping a steel chair around the skull of Mesias in favour of attacking Raven.

Blood was expected & the four men in the match delivered. Raven, Rhino & Mesias all bleed early & often. Abyss was the last to bleed, & that was only after a Raven Effect onto a barbed wire board. Raven then turned into a Straight to Hell from Mesias. Mesias ended up landing on some barbed wire so didn't make the pin. Mesias got back to his feet but was quickly back on the mat as Rhino cut him in half with a Gore for the victory.

As the four men are helped from the ring we cut backstage to Kurt & Karen Angle. Karen is yet again on her cell phone while Kurt waits beside her. When Karen is finished Kurt again asks if she has taken care of business yet. Karen hesitates before saying not quite. Kurt asks whats happened. Karen explains they missed their flight but doesn't explain who they are. Karen leaves the locker room as she gets ready to make another call. Kurt turns to Jeremy Borash & tells him its time for Plan F. JB asks whats Plan F. Kurt says he doesn't know yet but will think of one.

Last month we had James Storm taking on Eric Young for the beer drinking Championship at Final Resolution. With Eric closing in on victory yet again, Storm tried to cheat by got caught & promptly DQed. As Eric Young celebrated he got a beer bottle smashed over his head. Courtesy of Chris Harris. Harris & Storm sat down & had a beer, having seemingly put their differences behind them. Over the next few weeks both men would face Eric Young in singles action. Harris got a victory but Storm didn't. Despite Young getting one over on the former America's Most Wanted he still ended up being carried out of the arena after another beer bottle to the head. A match was made. Chris Harris & James Storm together again, taking on Eric Young & a partner of his choosing.

Two weeks ago on IMPACT! Eric Young was saved from yet another beating. The lights went out when Young was about to get yet another beer bottle to the head. Lights back on & Young is gone but a steel chair sits atop the ramp way. On it a trench coat & a baseball bat.

Harris & Storm are in the ring as Eric Young comes halfway down the ramp before stopping & waiting for his partner. Sting's music plays but their is no Sting. After a few minutes Sting's music dies down. Eric Young looking dejected slowly makes his way to the ring alone. Just as the bell rings Sting's music plays once again. This time someone does come out, but not Sting. Harris & Storm fall over laughing as Big Fat Oily Guy comes to the ring in Sting attire. Storm gets on the mic & asks Eric if he was really stupid enough to think that a big shot like Sting would have any time for him. Storm offers the mic to Eric but its another set up. Young goes to take the mic when Harris Super kicks him.

Harris & Storm take turns in beating down Eric Young. Harris hits a Catatonic while Storm hits the Last Call & the Eye of the Storm. Harris goes for & gets the three count. Harris & Storm have destroyed Eric Young but they don't look finished yet.

Both men get a beer bottle & take aim when Sting's music plays for a third time. Harris & Storm ignore it. But this time its for real. Sting lowers in from the sky's & lands behind Harris & Storm. Harris is first to notice courtesy of a baseball bat to the spine. Storm makes a run for it. Storm retreats up the ramp way followed slowly by Harris.

Back in the ring, Sting has offered a hand to the badly beaten Eric Young. Young pushes the hand away & hugs Sting instead.

Backstage & we see The Rock 'n' Rave Infection with Shelley Martinez tied & gagged. The four of them are heading towards the ring area for their match when Christy Hemme stops them & says she wants to do something in case she doesn't get another chance. She has Hoyt & Rave hold Martinez in place. Hemme looks Martinez up & down before slapping her viciously across the face. Hemme turns & continues towards the ring satisfied with herself.

Soon after Final Resolution, The Rock 'n' Rave Infection took their war with the L.A.X. to another level when they kidnapped Shelley Martinez. Martinez hasn't been seen again until tonight. L.A.X. have vowed to make them suffer for their actions. Rather than waste a potentially explosive match, Jim Cornette made the match for Against All Odds.

A hard Hitting match followed as both teams seem to have a genuine hatred for each other. Hernandez took himself out of the match when he went for a suicide dive over the top rope & got nothing but concrete. Homicide tried to fight off both Hoyt & Rave but ended up falling to several double team maneuvers. The end however came from a Pump Handle Driver from Lance Hoyt.
After the match, Hoyt & Rave both got steel chairs out & went to work on an already injured Hernandez.

Backstage we see Chris Harris & James Storm arguing. Harris complains about Storm saying Sting wouldn't show up. Storm has no comeback & just walks off.

Next up is Booker T & Kaz facing Black Reign & RelliK. Kaz defeated Black Reign at Final resolution but was then Ambushed by RelliK. Kaz wanted revenge but Cornette would only agree if he found a partner. Step forward Booker T.

Kaz & Booker worked like a well oiled machine in dominating Black Reign & keeping him away from tagging the more dangerous RelliK. Kaz hits Reign with the Wave of the Future before RelliK disregards the rule book & comes in anyway. RelliK beats down Kaz while Booker stays on the apron reaching for a tag. Reign & RelliK double team Kaz leading to a Stiff Kick to the head from RelliK. Reign gets the pin while Booker is still reaching in for a tag. Reign & RelliK leave the ring as Booker gets in to check on his partner. Kaz shoves Booker off him & questions him for not helping out. Booker grabs a mic & apologizes to Kaz. Booker offers a handshake that Kaz accepts. Booker again apologizes before driving the mic into the skull of Kaz. Booker drags Kaz to his feet & hits him with the Book End.

Booker leaves to a chorus of Boos & jeers.

Next is our TNA Tag Team Title match. At Final Resolution Samoa Joe & Kevin Nash took on defending Champions AJ Styles & Tomko. As Nash & Tomko brawled into the crowd Joe got the win over Styles in the ring. Joe quickly left the ring & the arena with both belts. On the following iMPACT! Nash would demand his belt. Joe instead offered him a match. Joe proposed they both choose a partner & face off for the titles at Against All Odds. Joe's reasoning was he didn't want to carry the dead weight Nash would prove to be. Nash accepted & the match was made.
Samoa Joe quickly made his decision by choosing the current X-Division Champion Black Machismo. Nash however would leave it to the last minute. On Thursday Nash revealed his partner as Kip James.

Kevin Nash was first to the ring & he also introduced his partner not as Kip James but as The Outlaw.

Despite Nash & The Outlaw having a massive experience advantage they were no match for the youth & determination of Joe & Lethal. Nash got choked out by Joe on the outside leaving The Outlaw on his own. The Outlaw was able to cope with Lethal but when the tag was made to Joe it all went south in a hurry. Joe was like a man possessed after The Outlaw attacked him on iMPACT! Joe made quick work of the veteran before hitting a Muscle Buster. Joe didn't go for the pin but instead tagged in Machismo. Machismo went to the top rope & hit a picture perfect diving elbow drop for the victory to join a short list of double Champions in TNA.

Joe & Machismo celebrated the victory for youth by going into the crowd to be with their fans.

We are treated to another Christian Cage in training video. This time Coach Styles has him balancing a bucket of ice water on his head as he walks a six inch wide platform. After Cage successfully completed the task three times Styles got annoyed. During the fourth run Styles kicked the platform knocking Cage to the ground as the bucket of Ice Water spills over him.

Robert Roode is in the ring next to face off against Ms. Brooks new client. Last month at Final Resolution Roode fired Brooks after she laid down for Sharmell. Since then Brooks has been getting under the skin of Roode & tormenting him at every possible chance. Ms. Brooks wanted to humiliate Roode so she proposed a match. If Roode wins she is gone from TNA. If her representative wins, Roode must kiss her feet in the middle of the ring. Shark Boy pulled off a major upset by pinning Roode on iMPACT! in the resulting match. Roode spent the next few weeks crying & trying to get out of it. Cornette finally cracked & gave Roode one chance to get out of it. If he won a match on iMPACT! he would be free of the stipulation but must still face Ms. Brooks new client at Against All Odds. Roode agreed.

On Thursday last, Robert Roode went up against The L.A.X. in a handicap match. When things looked bleak for Roode he found an unlikely saviour. The Rock 'n' Rave Infection came to ringside drawing L.A.X. to the outside giving Roode a Count out Win.

Ms. Brooks comes out to the ring to introduce her new client. She doesn't introduce him by name tho. A man who is covered by a cloak comes to the ring & stands in front of Roode. At that moment the camera man drops his camera & attacks Roode from behind. A two on one assault follows. With Roode beaten down in the corner Ms. Brooks gets into the ring & pulls the cloak off the mystery man while the camera man pulls off a mask. Ms. Brooks re-introduces us to The Naturals. Douglas & Stevens drag Roode to his feet in front of Brooks. Brooks tells him she never wants to see his face again. Brooks goes on to say she is taking the Naturals to the top, which is the only place she is used to being. The Naturals hit Roode with The Natural Disaster to finish the beat down off.

The TNA Knockouts Title is up for grabs next as Awesome Kong makes her first title defence. She defends against former Champion Gail Kim as well as ODB. Kong was scheduled to defend against only one but Jim Cornette changed that when Kong interrupted an ODB vs Gail Kim match for the number one contender ship on iMPACT! recently. Cornette also added that if Kong lays a finger on anyone else leading up to Against All Odds, they would also be added to the match. Kong seems to have gotten some backup recently. On iMPACT! ODB was forced to team with Gail Kim to face Angelina Love & Velvet Sky, After the match Sky & Love turned on their good friend Gail Kim & held her in the firing line for Kong to crush in the corner.

ODB & Gail teamed up to try & knock Kong out of the match. Despite their combined efforts they could only get her to the outside of the ring but not for any length of time. Kong sent ODB into the crowd with a press slam effectively taking her out of the match. Kong focused on Gail from then on. Gail used her speed advantage to hit & run the beast. Gail eventually got Kong to her back before mounting & laying into her with punches. Raisha Saeed got onto the ring apron to complain about the fists. Gail Kim took exception to this & speared her into the guard rail from the apron.

With Gail hurt on the outside & Rudy Charles trying to get Raisha Saeed away from the ring area, Velvet Sky ran Gail Kim into the ring post before Angelina Love hit a roundhouse kick on the former Champion. Both Ladies threw Gail back into the waiting Kong. Kong wasted little time in finishing Gail off as Sky & Love made sure ODB wasn't making it back to the ring. Kong hit an Awesome Bomb for the win. The three Knockouts celebrated in the ring afterwards.

We cut backstage one last time for a split screen. On the left we have a very nervous looking Kurt Angle heading to the entrance tunnel with his wife Karen Angle not far behind. Whereas on the right we have a confidant Christian Cage with AJ Styles offering last minute pointers for the upcoming match.

At Final Resolution AJ Styles finally made his decision. He choose to stick with Cage but unfortunately he ended up costing Cage the title. Styles intended to hit Angle with the Title belt, but Angle dodged it at the last second & as a result Styles knocked out Cage. Styles would try to make it up to Cage by getting a match against Kurt Angle on iMPACT! where the winner choose the stipulation for the re-match tonight at Against All Odds. Styles won that match allowing Cage to select the match type. But, when it came to the announcement of the match type Jim Cornette informed Cage that Styles gets to make the decision not him. Styles panicked & blurted out Elevation X.

Kurt Angle spent the next few weeks trying to get out of the stipulation but Cornette refused each time. Cornette wary of Angle's reputation for cheating his opponents, added an extra stipulation. If either man goes more than 100feet away from the ring during the match they will be DQed on the spot. As we know, in TNA titles can change hands via DQ.

Angle's nervousness soon turned to viciousness as he attacked the ankle of Cage from the get go. Cage & Angle traded high impact moves all match. Any chance Angle got he went for the ankle lock to stop Cage being able to use his speed advantage. Cage countered this by grabbing a steel chair from ring side. Angle backed off & started up the ramp with Cage following him. Angle remembering the 100foot stipulation stopped dead & had no choice but to try & disarm Cage. A short brawl ensued on the top of the ramp which Angle won via an Olympic slam. Angle locked in an Ankle Lock & twisted with everything he had trying to snap Cage's ankle.

Angle only broke it when he got tapped on the shoulder. Angle turned expecting AJ Styles but instead got Yuji Nagata. The man he defeated only a few weeks ago on Global iMPACT! Nagata grabbed Angle by the throat & dragged him backstage. The big screens show Nagata dragging Angle to a waiting car. Nagata tosses Angle into the trunk & slams it shut. Nagata then drives the car out of the arena invoking the 100foot stipulation. Back inside the arena, Christian Cage is announced the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion via DQ. Cage shrugs before he limps back to the ring to celebrate becomeing a three time world champion.

Austin Creed defeated Frank Shamrock via pinfall after a Tornado DDT. Creed again impressed as he gave trailist Frank Shamrock no chance of winning. Creed picks up his first victory in TNA.

Johnny Devine defeated Senshi via Devine Intervention. After the match Elix Skipper come to the ring looking for revenge but instead found himself on the wrong end of a 3D from Team 3D. Brother Ray went into another rant about how they are being booked & how they will take over Xplosion & make it their own.

We kick off iMPACT! with the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Christian Cage. Cage was his usual humble self by declaring that no-one in TNA is good enough to face him at Destination X. AJ Styles disagrees & proposes he faces Cage, after all, Cage did promise him a title match over a year ago. Cage gets out of it by saying he wants AJ to be fully ready & Cage doesn't think he is just yet. Styles accepts the decision & as a result Cage makes an open challenge to anyone on the roster for later tonight. Cage is going to give someone a chance to get to the top. The opening credits roll as Cage leaves the ring.

Time for the first match of the night & its the Knockouts in action. The team who helped Awesome Kong keep her title at Against All Odds, Velvet Sky & Angelina Love, go up against Roxxi Laveaux & the ultra experienced Jackie Moore.

Sky & Love get dominated by the power game of Moore but get back into it when Roxxi gets tagged in. Velvet Sky is creeped out by Roxxi & refuses to wrestle her. Angelina Love wrestles the match pretty much on her own. Velvet Sky waited on the apron & picked her spot to perfection. With Roxxi gaining momentum, Sky kicked Roxxi in the kidney as she bounced off the ring ropes. Angelina Love caught Roxxi in a small package to sneak the victory.

Sky & Love celebrate on the outside when Awesome Kong makes her entrance. A three on two beat down of Roxxi & Jackie follows. Sky & Love line them up, Kong knocks them down & out. Satisfied with their work, the three knockouts stand over their fallen victims with arms raised in victory.

The celebrations are short lived as Raiesha Saeed attacks Angelina Love from behind as Kong hits Velvet Sky with a roundhouse backhand. Kong then hits both ladies with an Awesome Bomb each. Kong & Saeed stand amongst the four unconscious Knockouts.

We go backstage to Jim Cornette's office next where he has Petey Williams as a guest. Petey is complaining about Rick Steiner's interference on Sunday. Petey reminds Cornette that he had Scott done & dusted before he got screwed. Petey demands Scott Steiner be disqualified & Petey awards the two title matches. Cornette isn't interested & tells Petey he knew of the risk involved before the match was signed. Petey asks is it because he's Canadian he gets treated like crap by management.

Ms. Brooks & The Naturals come to the ring next. Ms. Brooks has a mic in hand & is looking quite pleased with her new clients. Brooks tells us that she is done with Roode & is moving on with her career. Her new goal starts tonight. Her goal is to take The Naturals back to the top of the TNA Tag Team Division. Sonjay Dutt & Shark Boy are introduced as opponents.

The Naturals dominate a short match. Sonjay was isolated for the entire match & Shark Boy never even got a tag in before the match was finished. The Naturals won with The Natural Disaster in less then three minutes. After the match Brooks orders a beat down & the Naturals comply. Shark Boy receives a Natural Disaster on the outside of the ring to leave both men down & out. An impressive performance from The Naturals in their first match back.

After a short break we are back with Booker T in the ring. Black Reign & RelliK are on the outside. Booker grabs a mic as the fans let him know what they think of him now. Booker shows a new attitude tonight as he rips into Kaz. Booker claims Kaz was only going to ride him to the top then kick him off the mountain. Booker tells us he has been around too long to be fooled by these kids. Booker doesn't get to say anything else before Kaz charges to the ring taking out Reign & RelliK with a double clothesline. Booker hightails it out of the ring as soon as Kaz reaches it.

Kaz isn't going to let it go that easy & takes his frustrations out on Black Reign & RelliK via a steel chair. Security has to restrain Kaz from doing some serious damage.

Backstage to the ever busy Jim Cornette again. This time is guest is an irate Karen Angle. Karen demands to know what he is going to do about "That Japanese Guy", better known as Yuji Nagata, coming in & costing Kurt the title. On top of that Karen tells us she hasn't heard from Kurt since & is about to file a missing persons report. Cornette tells Karen to relax & he will deal with it as soon as he can. Karen tells him it better be soon or she'll get really mad, which wouldn't be good for anyone in TNA.

BG James has made his way to the ring now, he doesn't waste any time in calling out Kip James, now known as The Outlaw. The Outlaw appears after a slight delay with Kevin Nash by his side. Both men arrogantly make their way to the ring despite losing on Sunday. BG asks the Outlaw why he would abandon him. The Outlaw replies with its simply business. With this Kevin Nash kicks BG in the side of the head. The Outlaw hits BG with the One & Only before both men leave to a chorus of boos.

Backstage again & Petey Williams is heading for his car when Robert Roode catches up with him. Roode tells Petey he is right about management trying to hold him down. Roode goes on to say that if Petey needs any help, he need only ask. Petey thanks Roode & says he will definitely consider it. Petey offers Roode a ride home. Both men leave whilst still complaining about Jim Cornette.

Back at ringside with Mike Tenay & Don West who are discussing Christian Cage's open challenge from earlier tonight when they are interrupted. Lance Hoyt, Jimmy Rave & Christy Hemme, The Rock 'n' Rave Infection head to the announce booth. Hemme sits on the announce table while Hoyt & Rave go behind West & Tenay. Hemme says that she has noticed some very anti-Rock 'n' Rave comments from one member of the announce team in particular. Hemme gives them a chance to own up but neither man knows what she is talking about. Hemme tells them they now have to do it her way. Hemme clicks her fingers & Lance Hoyt grabs Don West by the neck & drags him to his feet.

Hoyt & Rave bring West to the ring as Christy Hemme remains seated on the announce table. Hemme tells Don West that she will be taking over his spot while West is in Intensive Care. A confused West is hit from behind by Jimmy Rave as a beating starts. Hoyt & Rave destroy West as Tenay begs for security while Hemme puts her feet up on the announce table & relaxes. Security eventually arrives & pulls Don West from the ring to safety. West needs to be carried backstage after the beating he received.

Mike Tenay complains to himself about Christy Hemme who is uninterested in him. Hemme finally shuts Tenay up by asking him whats the next match. Christian Cage's answers that for her by making his way to the ring ready to compete. Cage grabs a mic before he gets into the ring.

Cage says it was harder than he thought to find an opponent for tonight but alas he found one. Cage introduces his opponent as the Bore Machine Rhino. Rhino appears on the ramp looked pissed. However, he soon has bigger problems as Abyss & Judas Mesias come from the side of the ramp. Rhino tries to fight both off but is unsuccessful. Cage isn't budging so Rhino is soon beaten down & beaten backstage.

In the ring Cage picks the mic up again & says this is too easy before his music plays. Cage holds his title above his head as he poses for the crowd. Cage is clearly enjoying himself once again, that is, until he turns around. Cage turns & gets knocked out cold by a steel chair shot to the skull. The masked man who swung the chair picks up the title belt & drapes it over his shoulder as the new champion lays unconscious on the mat in front of him.

iMPACT! Preview
Feburary 21st 2008

- Christian Cage last week claimed he had no challengers so put out an open challange However, Cage ended up unconscious without his newly won TNA World title at the end of the night. A mysterious Masked Man came from the crowd & knocked Cage out with a steel chair. How will Cage react to this ambush? Is this a challanger?

- Booker T turned his back on Kaz at Against All Odds. Last week Kaz gained a little revenge but not on who he wanted. After being on the wrong end of a pissed off Kaz, RelliK has demanded a match against him on iMPACT!

- The Naturals returned to tag action in TNA last week against Sonjay Dutt & Shark Boy. Not happy with the performance, Ms. Brooks has ordered a re-match for this week on iMPACT!

- Last week The Rock 'n' Rave Infection put Don West in the hospital as Christy Hemme made herself the new color commentator. How will Hemme do on her first full night on the job? Will The Rock 'n' Rave Infection be on hand to watch her back?

- At Against All Odds Rick Steiner made his return to TNA Wrestling by costing Petey Williams two title matches. Petey will be looking for revenge on iMPACT! when he faces the Dog Faced Gremlin in singles action.

- Also on the broadcast, Homicide, Awesome Kong, AJ Styles, Eric Young & more.

Xplosion
February 15th 2008

Austin Creed defeated Sonjay Dutt via Frog Splash. The newcomer impressed again this week on Xplosion & it doesn't look to be long before he sets his sights on the TNA X-Division Champion Black Machismo.

Homicide defeated Hawk Younkins via Gringo Killa. The Former TNA Tag team Champion destroyed triallist Hawk Younkins in less than sixty seconds.

Triple X defeated Team 3D via DQ. Team 3D couldn't keep up with Senshi & Skipper & resorted to illegal measures. Including sending Elix Skipper thru a table in front of referee Slick Johnson. Team 3D & Johnny Devine continued the beating after the bell.

iMPACT!
February 21st 2008

We open this week's edition of iMPACT! with the TNA Champion Christian Cage, sans title belt. Cage doesn't look his usual self tonite, instead he looks deadly serious. Cage grabs a mic before getting into the ring. Cage tells us he wants to get it out of the way, so tonite will be another open challenge. Cage then moves onto more important business in his words. Cage calls the masked man a coward for his ambush last week. Cage warns him that if he shows up again tonite to interfere, their will be a welcome party waiting for him. Cage tells him he will leave his locker-room unlocked for his match tonite, & his belt better be there when he gets back. Cage drops the mic & starts to leave the ring when the masked man appears on stage.

Cage quickly grabs the mic again & shouts for AJ Styles to get him. The masked man looks around him but See's no AJ Styles. The masked man turns & leaves still in possession of Cage's world title belt. Cage meanwhile is still screaming for Styles to jump him as the opening credits roll.

We are back & straight into the action as always. The first match of the evening is Kaz vs RelliK (That's Killer spelt backwards). RelliK doesn't come to the ring without backup after what Kaz did last week. Black Reign & Booker T accompany him. An evenly matched, fast paced match follows with both men coming close to getting the victory. In the end, a mistimed trip from Black Reign handed Kaz the win. Reign missed his intended target of Kaz & caught RelliK, RelliK stumbled forwards & right into The Wave of The Future.

Kaz has no time to celebrate tho as Booker T is quickly into the ring to jump the man he turned on at Against All Odds. Reign, RelliK & Booker T do a number on the helpless Kaz until security make the save.

As Kaz is helped from the ring we cut backstage to Jim Cornette's office. Cornette is graced with the company of Showtime Eric Young. Eric is trying to convince Cornette to make a tag match for Destination X now that he knows Sting will be there. Cornette hesitates but gives in & make the match official. Eric looks ecstatic with the news as he leaves Cornette' office.

Cornette goes to take a seat for the first time tonight when Karen Angle storms in screaming at the top of her lungs. Cornette asks her to turn the volume down by about 120 decibels. Karen is not amused & asks what has he done to find Kurt Angle. Cornette backs up a little before telling Karen he only has one small piece of information. Karen demands to know what it is. Cornette tries to explain but is backed up further by the advancing & pissed off Karen Angle. Cornette finally manages to get it out. Kurt Angle was seen in Japan only a few hours ago. Cornette suggests to Karen that she go to Japan & start searching as he cant do anymore.

Karen reminds Cornette that Japan is huge. Karen asks where in Japan Kurt was spotted. Cornette checks his notes & reveals the location as Tokyo. The site of his victory over Yuji Nagata. Karen stares at Cornette as if she doesn't believe him. After a tense few seconds she says thanks to Cornette & leaves.

Cornette is just about to sit down when Rhino & Raven burst into the office. Cornette puts his head in his hands before looking up to the sky's & asking if ten seconds of peace & quite is too much to ask for. Rhino is pissed & wants Abyss & Judas Mesias again. Rhino says he can let of lot of things slide, but not costing him a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight title. Rhino goes on to say he wants to see Mesias & Abyss die a bloody & painful death for last week. Raven pipes in with a suggestion for Destination X. Raven suggests a Death match. Cornette doesn't argue & makes the match official. Rhino & Raven leave a little happier. As soon as they leave Cornette locks his office door.

Back to the ring now as we have some tag team action up next. Ms. Brooks is in the ring with a mic in hand. The Naturals stand behind her as their opponents, Shark Boy & Sonjay Dutt stand outside the ring. Ms. Brooks tells us she was not impressed by last weeks showing from her team.

She wants this week to be a dominating performance to ensure Jim Cornette sits up & takes notice.

Things don't start well for the Naturals as Dutt & Shark Boy jump start the match. Shark Boy takes Chase Stevens to the outside where he proceeds to bite him several times. Referee, Earl Hebner, tries to gain some order on the outside as Ms. Brooks slips into the ring unnoticed. Brooks taps Sonjay Dutt on the shoulder from behind. Dutt turns & is met with a vicious kick between the uprights. Brooks then pie-faces Dutt into Andy Douglas. Douglas hits Dutt with a reverse DDT & makes the cover as Ms. Brooks gets Hebner's attention. Hebner climbs back into the ring & counts the three making the Naturals 2-0 since their return to TNA.

Backstage again & AJ Styles is sneaking around with Jeremy Borash. JB asks him why he is sneaking around, Styles explains he doesn't want Cage to find out but he has to tell someone. Styles tells JB he knows who the masked man is. JB asks who & why doesn't he want Cage to know. Styles explains that cage hasn't done anything for him recently so why should he help Cage? Styles goes on to say he is still waiting for his title match that Cage promised him a really long time ago. Styles also says he's considering taking the open challenge tonite. JB tries to get the conversation back to the masked man but Styles continues his rant about Cage as they walk into the distance.

Back to ringside & we are preparing for our next match when Mike Tenay & Christy Hemme exchange heated words. Hemme gets annoyed & calls on her boys. Lace Hoyt & Jimmy Rave waste no time in coming to ringside & grabbing Mike Tenay. The Rock 'n' Rave Infection drag Tenay to the ring as Hemme cheers them on. Hoyt sets up for a pump-handle slam when the TNA World Tag team Champions Samoa Joe & Black Machismo run to the ring. Hoyt & Rave bail out leaving Tenay uninjured. Tenay recovers & retakes his position at the announce booth. Joe tells Hemme that he will be watching her & will be ready if Hoyt & Rave try anything again. Hemme rolls her eyes & ignores Joe.

Back to the in ring action now as Petey Williams takes on the returning Rick Steiner. Petey is alone but Rick has his brother for backup. Rick showed a lot of ring rust in the match as Petey easily avoided most of his attacks. Petey had Rick in position for the Canadian Destroyer when Scott Steiner jumped up onto the ring apron. The distraction allowed Rick to take out the legs of Petey & roll him up for a quick victory. The Steiners head up the ramp as Petey is irate in the ring. The Steiners only get halfway up the ramp before Robert Roode hits them both from behind with a double Northern lariat. Security is quickly on the scene to avoid any further fighting.

A video package airs next. It shows the moment of impact at Against All Odds when Hernandez took himself out. Homicide appears in the video & explains that Hernandez is out indefinitely. Homicide goes on to promise gold for LAX. Specifically, the X-Division gold.

Backstage now & Crystal is with Awesome Kong & Riaesa Saeed. Saeed tells Velvet Sky & Angelina Love that Kong never needed them but took their help anyway. Now that Kong has beaten both challengers, she no longer needs them & they were disposed of last week.

The camera man is pulled away from Kong & Saeed as Robert Roode & Petey Williams are heard arguing nearby. The camera follows both men into Petey Williams Locker-room where the argument is stopped dead. Both men have a look of shock & surprise on their face at what they see. The camera pans around to locate a man sitting in the corner of the room. That man is none other than Scott D'Amore.

Petey & Roode are thrilled to see Coach D'Amore back but he has some less than kind words for his students. D'Amore tells them they shouldn't be wasting time with hasbeens like the Steiners.

D'Amore tells them Roode should be main eventing & Petey should be destroying the X-Division with ease. Instead they are losing to guys who were past it 15 years ago. D'Amore says he is sticking around to set things right in TNA.

Main Event Time on iMPACT! as Christian Cage comes to the ring alone again. His opponent is introduced as The Outlaw. The former Kip James makes his way to the ring for potentially the biggest match of his career to date.

The Outlaw put in a good showing but ultimately it was the man who he turned on a few weeks ago that ended the match. BG James came thru the crowd & speared The Outlaw out of the ring prompting a DQ. BG James & The Outlaw brawl on the outside until Kevin Nash heads for the ring to help his partner out. The Outlaw & Kevin Nash proceed to beat down BG James as Christian Cage watches from the ring. Two weeks in a row now Cage has gotten off easy. Until he turned around that was. Cage turned & got knocked out cold with a steel chair for the second time in two weeks. The Masked Man holds Christian Cage's TNA World Title above his head signaling his intent. We go off the air in similar fashion to last week. The champion unconscious & The Masked Individual standing tall, title in hand.
