We open iMPACT! This week with the Team Canada captain taking a break from the World X Cup to settle his differences with Kurt Angle. Angle also has a score to settle with Petey as Petey has prevented Angle from doing some serious damage to Robert Roode on more than one occasion over the past few months.

Angle showed his experience by waiting for Petey to make a mistake before capitalising. Angle hit Petey with several Suplex’s but chose not to even attempt a Pinfall after any of them. Angle instead decided to mock Petey & tease hitting him with his own move in the Canadian Destroyer. The arrogance of Angle cost him as Petey tripped his legs before locking in the Sharpshooter! Angle screamed in pain in the dead centre of the ring but refused to submit. Angle struggled & eventually got to the bottom rope. Petey reluctantly broke the hold before grabbing the legs of Angle & pulling him back to the middle of the ring. As Petey tried the Sharpshooter again, Angle struck & caught Petey in a Small Package for the three count.

Result: Kurt Angle via Pinfall.

Angle is quickly out of the ring & even quicker up the ramp once he spots Robert Roode coming for him. Angle turns & runs up the ramp, Roode gives chase but isn’t going to catch him.

We go backstage now where Kazarian is shouting at Tomko & the Giant Bloom. Kazarian slaps Bloom on the chest before telling both men that he has had enough & wants them to prove something tonight. Kazarian tells them both to make sure TNA Management cant ignore them anymore.

In the next round of the World X Cup, Team International will face off against the home team in Team TNA. Alex Koslov & Michael Kovac have been chosen for the tag match against Triple xXx.

Koslov & Kovac put in a good showing but the experience teaming together was again the difference as Triple xXx got the win following several big double team manoeuvres. The final nail in Michael Kovac’s coffin came courtesy of Skipper hitting Play of the Day before Senshi connected with the Warrior’s Way. Skipper made the cover & picked up the three count to give Team TNA the early advantage.

Result: Triple xXx via Pinfall.

Triple xXx start their post match celebrations in the ring but we jump backstage where Tomko & the Giant Bloom have decided to make a statement. Tomko has Andy Douglas up in the air & launches him like a dart into a brick wall head first. Bloom hoists Chase Stevens into the air & onto his shoulders before charging into the wall to smash Chase Stevens chest & face first. Bloom the dumps the unconscious Stevens on top of his unconscious partner in the corner of the room.

Back to the in ring action now as the World X Cup continues. Daivari knows the pressure is on as he needs a win against the Team TNA Captain Jerry Lynn.

Daivari went all out in a bid to over whelm the veteran but it didn’t pay off as Lynn weathered the storm before making a comeback. Unfortunaly for Lynn the comeback was cut short when Daivari got Andrew Thomas out of position long enough to hit Lynn with a Low Blow. Daivari took his opening & planted Lynn with a Spike DDT to pick up the three count.

Result: Daivari via Pinfall.

Daivari exit’s the ring & heads backstage with a sinister smile on his face knowing he got away with robbery.

We beat Daivari backstage & join the Motor City Machine Guns who are waiting patiently with Leticia Cline for their mic time.
The Machine Guns don’t seem to care what Leticia has to ask them & completely ignore her. Chris Sabin tells us that so far no team has stepped forward to face them at No Surrender. Sabin says he finds it quite sad the lack of faith people have in their own abilities. Alex Shelley proposes the potential opposition are just scared of being humiliated by them. Sabin agrees. Shelley then goes on to say that they went into the locker rooms earlier tonight & told everyone that they would be having an open challenge tonight on iMPACT! In a non title match up of course. Sabin says two men have accepted the match already. Shelley says they’ll see them in the ring before both Guns walk off the set.

We jump to the locker room of the TNA World Champion AJ Styles next where in he has Booker T for company. Styles seems to be welcoming Booker into his team for No Surrender. Styles says despite some misunderstandings they are all part of the same team, fighting for the same clause. Booker T cuts off Styles with that & tells him that they are not all fighting for the same thing. Booker says he is fighting to get match fit & finally put an end to Christian Cage, even if that means teaming with him first.

Styles accepts that & rephrases his statement. Styles now says they are all fighting for the same ultimate goal, the TNA World Championship. Booker says that he can agree on. Both men then share a frosty handshake as it seems Booker doesn’t quite trust Styles but is willing to team with him anyway.

The deciding match in the first match up of this round of the World X Cup is up next. Team International & Team TNA are tied at one win a piece. Sonjay Dutt is representing Team International while the egotistical Kid Kash represents Team TNA.

Dutt came close to winning on several occasions but it was the missed Hindu Press that cost him biggest. Kash tried for a roll up but Dutt refused to stay down. Both men put everything they had into either staying alive in Sonjay’s case or finishing the match in Kash’s case. With both men cancelling each other out, it took a trip from Lance Hoyt on Sonjay Dutt to give Kash the opening he needed. Kash wasted no time in hitting Dutt with the Money-maker to pick up the win.

Result: Kid Kash via Pinfall.

Kash celebrates in the ring as Lance Hoyt heads back up the ramp. Hoyt turns back to the ring to applaud Kid Kash but gets spun back around. Jimmy Rave shoves Hoyt & shouts at him to open his eyes before kicking him in the ribs. Rave then hits Hoyt with a DDT on the ramp. Rave stands over the fallen Hoyt & again tells him to open his eyes before heading backstage.

Next on iMPACT! We see the four men who will be battling for the TNA X-Division Championship at No Surrender. On one side of the ring Austin Creed will team with the former champion Homicide while Austin Aries teams with the current champion Johnny Devine.

Creed & Homicide managed to work well together, the same however could not be said for Devine & Aries. With Devine being the X-Division Champion he felt as if he should be team captain & thus gave out orders to Aries. Aries didn’t respond too kindly to this & ended up turning on his partner. Aries & Devine got into a shoving match in the ring over refusal to follow orders, this prompted Aries to hit Devine with a DDT & walk out on the match. Homicide & Creed then took turns in punishing Devine with the Creed-D-T & The Gringo Killa before picking up the win.

Result: Austin Creed & Homicide via Pinfall.

Tomko & The Giant Bloom have been busy tonight & it seems they are not finished yet. Tomko has Jay Briscoe by the neck & is holding him off the ground while Bloom bounces the face of Mark Briscoe off a fire exit until it opens. Mark tries to crawl away as the blood pours from his mouth & nose but Bloom kicks him stiffly in the ribs before pulling him back to his feet. Bloom grabs Mark Briscoe by the arm & whips him into a parked car. Tomko joins in by delivering a Choke Bomb to Jay Briscoe on the concrete.

Tomko & Bloom look down on their handy work before fist bumping & heading back inside. We go back to the ring just as Sting makes his entrance. Sting seems fully focused & goes straight to the ring without even playing to the crowd.

Once in the ring, Sting keeps it short & calls out Jeff Jarrett. After a short delay Jeff Jarrett appears but obviously isn’t alone. Jarrett brought Team 3D with him. Jarrett is full of confidence with the three on one advantage so starts heading to the ring. Jarrett is halted by a clothesline by Scott Steiner! Steiner goes for Team 3D next but security move in & drag him backstage.

Steiner tries to fight security off but Team 3D jump him before he can get free. 3D & Steiner trade blows as they disappear backstage leaving Jeff Jarrett down on the ramp. Sting stalks Jarrett with his bat in hand. Jarrett tries to back up the ramp but isn’t having much luck. Jarrett’s luck changes when Matt Morgan steps in front of him & goes nose to nose with Sting. Jarrett gets to his feet & runs backstage. More security move in to try & prevent a brawl breaking out between Sting & Morgan. Both men trade words but never come to blows.

Next on iMPACT! We get to see Vixen in her first match in TNA. Vixen will team with Jimmy Rave on Sunday to face Christy Hemme & Lance Hoyt in a mixed tag match.

Vixen looked very impressive in her first match as she completely over whelmed her more experienced opponent. Vixen hit Daffney with a vicious Brain buster from the middle rope that all but ended the match. Vixen however did not make the pin & instead decided to send a warning to Christy Hemme. Vixen locks in a Figure Four Neck lock & cuts off the blood flow to the brain of Daffney forcing her to tap out.

Result: Vixen via Submission.

Vixen keeps the choke in even after the bell & seems to be enjoying depriving her opponent of oxygen. The hold is eventually broken but only when Christy Hemme sneaks in behind Vixen & crashes the TNA Knockouts Championship belt across her head to knock her unconscious. Hemme puts her foot on the stomach of Vixen & raises her belt above her head showing her confidence.

We cut to a camera out in the parking lot now where Scott Steiner is still trying to fight off security. Team 3D are following but are being held back by security. Eventually, Steiner is removed from the arena but is heard shouting that he will be back.

The Main Event on iMPACT! This week features the Open Challenge from the TNA World Tag Team Champions, the Motor City Machine Guns. With the champions in the ring, the arena falls silent before Guilty plays over the loudspeakers & America’s Most Wanted make their entrance.

Chris Harris & James Storm wrestled a power game while the Machine Guns wrestled a speed game. With neither team wanting to lose this close to the PPV the chances were kept to a minimum as each team tried to isolate an opponent. Harris was the first victim as Shelley & Sabin worked him over in their side of the ring. Harris managed to escape when he hit the on rushing Chris Sabin with a Spear.

James Storm being the freshest man in the match came in & cleared house. Storm looked to have it all sown up as he attempted to hit Alex Shelley with the Eye of the Storm. Much to the surprise of the Cowboy, he got beer spit in his face by his own partner Chris Harris when Chris Sabin ducked. With Storm blinded Shelley took advantage & hit Storm with Sliced Bread Number Two to pick up the win.

Result: Motor City Machine Guns via Pinfall.

Shelley & Sabin both head back up the ramp with their title belts in hand as James Storm gets back to his feet in the ring. Harris has his head in his hands after costing his team the match. James Storm isn’t happy & lets Harris know it. Storm spins Harris around to face him before the two exchange some heated words. Storm looked as if he was going to punch Harris in the face but held back & left the ring in a foul mood to end iMPACT!

We open No Surrender live from Canada with a video package highlighting the events that brought us to tonight. When the video ends we go live to the General Motors Centre where a huge pyro display wakes the crowd into a frenzy. As the camera speeds around the arena Homicide makes his entrance as the first match of the evening is the four way for the TNA X-Division Championship. Homicide comes out to a negative reaction from the Canadians. Austin Creed is out next & his Red, White & Blue ring attire makes him public enemy number one. Austin Aries gets the usual reaction he gets no matter where in the world he is. The TNA X-Division Champion was last out & got by far & away the best reaction. Johnny Devine returns to his home land as the TNA X-Division Champion.

It didn’t seem to matter what Johnny Devine did, the fans cheered for him. Austin Aries took Devine down with a Brainbuster before getting a long two count much to the dismay of the fans. Homicide got a big cheer when he hit Creed with a Gringo Cutter to pretty much eliminate him from the match. Homicide attempted the Gringo Killa on Aries but Aries slipped out & drove his knee into the ribs of Homicide before hitting him with a Reverse Swinging DDT. Johnny Devine took advantage & kicked Aries smack in the face before going for the kill. The Devine Intervention brought everyone in attendance to their feet. Devine made the pin on Aries as the fans counted with Andrew Thomas for Devine to retain.

Result: Johnny Devine RETAINS via Pinfall.

The biggest cheer of the night thus far came when Devine was announced as the winner, but the celebrations were short lived as Jim Cornette interupted the proceedings. Cornette first congratulated Devine before telling him he has the next month off from in ring action. Cornette explains that starting on iMPACT! The Super X Cup will be making a return. The winner will face Johnny Devine at Bound for Glory in Chicago on October 12th. Cornette heads backstage again as Devine restarts his celebrations.

Devine continues to celebrate back up the ramp as we go to a split screen. On the left we see Raven coming out from the boiler room while on the left we see Alkatrazz being led by James Mitchell towards the entrance tunnel. We get a video package at this stage of how the following match came to be. We see Raven taking out RelliK & Vampiro before getting ambushed by Alkatrazz. This is the first chance Raven has had to get revenge on Alkatrazz. We all know about Raven’s sick mind so it wouldn’t be surprising if he has planned something special for tonight as the loser of this match will be hauled off to a local prison where he will spend some of the worst nights of his life.

Raven looked clam & collected but as soon as the bell rang he unleashed hell on Alkatrazz. Raven mounted Alkatrazz & laid into him with closed fists in this No Holds Barred match up. Wait Alkatrazz already bleeding from the nose, Mitchell called for re-enforcements. Abyss & Judas Mesias made their way to the ring on cue. Mesias climbed into the ring but got a low blow from Raven who was prepared for him. Raven took Mesias down with the Raven Effect. Abyss has gotten to ringside but stopped short of getting into the ring. Raven stares down Abyss as Mitchell screams at Abyss to get into the ring.

Abyss instead grabs Mitchell by the throat & squeezes much to the delight of the fans in attendance. Abyss shoves Mitchell backwards into the steel steps as Raven turns back to Alkatrazz. Raven gets a few kicks in on Alkatrazz before Abyss steps up beside him. Raven turns to Abyss & gets punched in the jaw. Raven stumbles back until Abyss grabs him by the arm & sends him off the ropes. Raven comes back towards Abyss & gets killed with the Black Hole Slam. By this time Alkatrazz is back on his feet & decides to pick a fight with Abyss.

Alkatrazz shoves Abyss twice before Abyss catches his arm & pulls him into a Black Hole Slam aswell. Abyss doesn’t seem to be finished yet though as he pulls some chain from under the ring. Abyss wraps one end of the chain around the neck of Raven, & the other end around Alkatrazz. Abyss proceeds to roll out of the ring before pulling both his victims behind him by the chains around each of their necks. Abyss drags them both backstage & towards the waiting police van. Abyss turns to his handiwork & picks Alkatrazz. Abyss hoists Alkatrazz to his feet before dumping him in the back of the van. Abyss then grabs Raven by the hair & sends him in also. Abyss dumps all the remaining chain in with them before slamming the doors shut. Abyss stands watching the police van drive off into the distance with both participants in the back.

As Abyss stands alone in the parking lot we get shown a video highlighting the issues between Jeff Jarrett & Sting, & how we go to the following match. The following match was scheduled to be a tag team match but Goldberg has not been seen in the last few weeks & it looks more & more like Sting will be going it alone against the twenty time tag team champions in Team 3D.

Sting competed for much of the match on his own & managed to hold his own until the double teaming got the better of him. As Team 3D moved in for the kill with a fourth consecutive 3D, they got quite an unwelcome surprise. The big screens filled with a shot from the parking lot. A sports car speeds into the parking lot & slams on the breaks. After a couple of seconds Goldberg steps out & he looks pissed! Team 3D panic as Sting has rolled out of the ring. Brother Ray tries to lift his lifeless body back into the ring so 3D can get the win & get the hell out of there fast.

Brother Devon stands guard with a steel chair in hand. Devon is almost inviting Goldberg to come at him & he soon gets his wish. Goldberg’s entrance music plays & the man himself appears a top the stage as the fireworks go off beside him. Goldberg walks right through them & towards Brother Devon without hesitation. Goldberg starts to run as Devon prepares to swing. Devon backs out & drops the chair & runs. Devon runs past Brother Ray who seems to be taken by surprise. Ray turns around & gets ripped in two with a Spear from Goldberg.

Brother Devon continues running & is soon backstage to safety. Goldberg decides to take out his frustrations on Brother Ray as he lifts him back into the ring. Goldberg makes his way across the ring & prepares for a second Spear. With Goldberg in position he doesn’t notice Jeff Jarrett has made his appearance with a Guitar in hand. Goldberg proceeds to hit Brother Ray with a second Spear which gives Jarrett the chance to slide into the ring un noticed. As Goldberg gets back to his feet, Jarrett swings the guitar & smashes it across the head of Goldberg. Goldberg goes down to a knee before shaking it off & getting back to his feet.

Jarrett thinks he has taken Goldberg out so is playing to the crowd. Jarrett soon finds out that’s not the case as Goldberg takes him down with another Spear. Jarrett rolls out of the ring as Goldberg pulls poor Brother Ray back to his feet. Goldberg hoists Ray up into the air & delivers the Jackhammer. Goldberg makes the cover & picks up the three count.

Result: Goldberg & Sting via Pinfall.

As Goldberg gets back to his feet we see the image of Matt Morgan atop the ramp. Morgan doesn’t look like heading to the ring but has made eye contact with Goldberg. Both men stare each other down before Morgan turns & returns backstage.

Next is the TNA World Tag Team Championship match wherein the current champions, the Motor City Machine Guns, have set an open challenge. Before the match we see the highlights of the Machine Guns title run over the past few months. The Motor City Machine Guns are first to the ring as expected in an open challenge. The Guns receive quite a good reaction despite their American Passports. Alex Shelley grabs a mic en route to the ring. Shelley tells us that its time for another team to be added to the ever growing list of team that Sabin & Shelley have defeated in TNA.

Chris Sabin uses this time to point out that they are on an Eight Month winning streak that no-one has congratulated them on. Shelley says he has grown to expect being ignored by management. With that, their opponents are introduced. Sabin & Shelley sit back as the sound of Motor Cycles roaring can be heard but not seen. After a few seconds two bikes appear on stage as Jeremy Borash announced the challengers. Weighing in at a combined 600lbs, from Nashville, Tennessee, Ron Harris & Don Harris the Disciples of Destruction! Sabin & Shelley seem to realise this could be a mistake. The two near seven footers ride down to the ring to collect their title match.

Sabin & Shelley both tried to wear down the legs of The Harris Brothers but both Ron & Don looked to be in great shape & really up for the fight. Nothing Sabin & Shelley tried seem to come off & resulted in them suffering their first lost of 2008. Thanks to Chris Sabin for pointing that out. Ron Harris & Don Harris took Sabin out of the match with a Double Choke slam before taking Shelley out with an assisted Power bomb that damn near put Shelley through the ring. Ron Harris made the cover on Alex Shelley to pick up the three count.

Result: The Disciples of Destruction BECOME NEW TNA World Tag Tea Champions Via Pinfall.

The Disciples raise their newly won title belts above their heads before exiting the ring & then the arena via their motorcycles. Sabin & Shelley remain out cold in the ring.

The next match at No Surrender see’s TNA Knockouts Champion Christy Hemme teaming with Lance Hoyt to face Jimmy Rave & recently debuted Vixen. If Rave & Vixen win the following match, then Vixen will get a TNA Knockouts Championship match on a future edition of iMPACT!

Hemme was full of confidence after he cheap shot on iMPACT! Left Vixen out cold, tonight was a different story as Vixen came prepared & ducked the attempt to blindside her before the match started. Rave & Hoyt were peripheral figures for much of the match with neither man really wanting to fight the other. Eventually Rave drew first blood when he offered Hoyt a handshake but poked him in the eye instead. Rave took Hoyt down with a Double Underhook face buster before tagging Vixen back in, meaning an Automatic tag for Hemme.

Hemme took control & went for the kill. Hemme climbed to the second rope before going for the FFG. Vixen rolled out of the way before wrapping her legs around the neck of Hemme & locking in the Figure Four Neck Lock. Jimmy Rave charged across the ring & took Hoyt off the apron with a baseball slide. Vixen squeezes tightly & Hemme taps out.

Result: Vixen & Jimmy Rave via Submission.

Even after the match Vixen kept the Choke in but eventually broke once Rave re-entered the ring. Vixen & Rave stand tall looking down on the beaten TNA Knockouts Champion Christy Hemme.

Next we see a short history of America’s Most Wanted, from the night they were thrown together to fill in for the team of Stan Dupp & Bo Dupp all the way back in 2002, through their epic encounters with The Naturals & Triple xXx, through the break up & re-formation early in the year. The video ends with the miscommunication between the two on iMPACT!

Chris Harris offered to start the match with a handshake but James Storm wasn’t having any of it, clearly still upset after what happened on iMPACT! Neither man was willing to let the other gain the win & it resulted in plenty of near falls. At one point Chris Harris kicked out of the Eye of the Storm. Not to be outdone, Storm kicked out of the Cat Attack. After nearly twenty minutes of near falls & back & forth action, James Storm connected with the Last Call. Storm covered Harris but could not believe it when he kicked out at two! Storm argued with Slick Johnson before setting up for a second Last Call. Storm went with the kick but Harris ducked it & lifted Storm off the ground, Harris spun Storm around in the Catatonic before making the cover & picking up the three count. Storm kicked out a second too late.

Result: Chris Harris BECOMES THE FIRST TNA Internet Champion

After the final bell, Harris is presented with his newly won title. Harris looks at the belt before dropping it & shaking his head. Harris asks for a mic & is granted one. Harris takes a moment to get his breath back before he begins to talk. Harris says he told the world that when he won tonight, he would give the belt a credible name. Not the Internet Champion which sounds like a PCW title. Harris motions from someone to come from the back. After a short delay two security guards bring a metal briefcase to the ring. The case is set up on a small stand in the ring as Chris Harris opens it. A smile comes across the face of Harris as he lifts a brand new title belt out & places it over his shoulder. Harris proudly announces himself as the first TNA International Champion.

As Harris leaves the ring we jump backstage where Robert Roode is going through his final preparations ahead of his Last Man Standing match with Kurt Angle tonight. Just as Roode finishes, Team Canada make an appearance. Scott D’Amore asks Roode if he is ready to go. Roode says he is, but, Team Canada will be staying in the back. All the members of Team Canada protest but Roode insists that he is doing this alone. Roode leaves his team mates in stunned silence as he heads for the ring.

A hard hitting encounter was expected & neither man disappointed as each seemed to be out to cripple the other. Angle got dropped on his head early but managed to get back to his feet. Angle thought he has won when he sent Roode crashing to the outside with an Olympic Slam from the top rope. Roode somehow got back to his feet on nine. An irate Angle refused to believe that Roode was still alive & went for a steel chair. Angle stalked Roode only to get smashed in the face with a chair Roode pulled from under the ring.

A dazed Angle stumbled backwards but stayed on his feet & charged at Roode again. Roode swung the chair & connected with the skull of Angle at the same time as Angle connected with the back of Roode. Both men fell to the ground, Angle unconscious, Roode not far behind him. Earl Hebner counted the ten as neither man was able to recover, leaving this match to end in a draw.

Result: Double Count Down.

Both men needed medical attention after the match as they came damn close to killing each other in a war that is no longer about getting the win, its now just about hurting your opponent. Nothing was settled tonight, as the war continues between the two.

We get a surprise next as Mick Foley makes an unannounced appearance at No Surrender. Foley makes his way to the ring with a smile on his face & a mic in his hand. Once in the ring, Foley informs us all that he has signed a deal with TNA Wrestling. Foley is however, careful to state that it is not a wrestling contract but a staff contract. Foley says his plan is to make sporadic appearances & is here to help TNA grow to the next level in any way he can.

As Foley soaks in the fans reaction he gets interupted by Samoa Joe. Joe makes his way to the ring with his now usual scowl on his face. Joe snatches the mic from Foley, which prompts Foley to get a new mic & tell Joe all he had to do was ask for the mic. Foley thinks that Joe could do with learning some manners. Joe isn’t amused & tells Foley to shut the hell up.

Joe describes his current situation as pathetic. Joe says he gets left off No Surrender so that another fat out of shape past his prime no-body can come in & take all the headlines. Joe says he put Goldberg in his place last month verbally, & will put him in his place physically when the time is right. Joe says right now feels like a good time to physically put Foley in his place. Joe drops his mic & backs Foley into a corner. Foley tells Joe to hold on a second, that he has something to say to Joe. Joe stops & appears to be willing to listen.

Foley tells Joe that he was hoping he would come out tonight & try to humiliate him. Foley says he has even planned a little surprise for Joe tonight. Joe seems confused but Foley keeps talking. Foley says he has signed a staff contract with TNA & that the role of manager falls under staff. Mick Foley says he has come to No Surrender, but he has not come alone. A smile comes across the face of Foley as Joe is cracked in the spine with a lead pipe. Joe is hoisted up onto his attackers shoulders before getting dropped to the mat with authority.

Mick Foley lies down beside Joe & gets in his face. Foley tells Joe that he is not going to be disrespected or pushed around by anybody. Foley says he has gone out & hired the best money can buy. Foley says he has brought the absolute best to TNA. Foley has brought Brock Lesnar to TNA!

Joe lays motionless in the ring as Foley raises Lesnar’s arm much to the surprise of everyone in attendance. As Foley & Lesnar leave the ring, we are shown a video package highlighting the main event.

Christian Cage & Rob Van Dam pretty much froze out AJ Styles for the entire match, refusing to take tags from him or even give them to him. Booker T meanwhile refused to tag Christian Cage which all together led to some less than impressive team work from the four men. Cage & Van Dam seemed to be the only two willing to work together. Their opponents on the other hand were fluid & as a result controlled large portions of the match.

With eight men with such big ego’s in the same ring at the same time, a mass brawl was just waiting to happen. When Kazarian hit AJ Styles with the Wave of the Future, all hell broke loose. Tomko & Van Dam traded kicks inside & then outside the ring until Van Dam gained the upper hand & sent Tomko into the ring post. The Giant Bloom & Booker T fought into the crowd where Booker T accidentally took out a fan with a mis timed super kick.

Daniels took the Champion out of contention with the Angel Wings before Cage took Daniels out with a reverse DDT followed by a Frog Splash. Cage stalked Kazarian but then surprised some but not all by turning on his partner & hitting Styles with the Unprettier. Cage got back to his feet afterwards & walked into the Wave of the Future from Kazarian. Kazarian pinned Cage & picked up the three count.

Result: Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, Tomko & the Giant Bloom via Pinfall.

Kazarian is left as the only man standing in the ring as he grabs the TNA World Championship from Dave Penzer. Kazarian posed with the belt on the middle rope to end No Surrender.

Re: TNA 2008

Due to a high workload from FÁS (College) i wont have the time to do a weekly show anymore. I have important exams in less than two months & then some more in January. Be the Booker takes up a lot of my time so i am giving it up for now. I hope to return in Febuary with a new Be the Booker. Thanks to everyone who read & replied over the past eight & a half months.

Here are the major happenings for the rest of the year:

Abyss - Beat Judas Mesias on iMPACT! Two weeks running. The second match being a loser leaves town match. Took James Mitchell out of commission in the first match with a Black Hole Slam.

AJ Styles - Only man standing at the end of Survival X as he bested Kazarian, Chris Daniels & Rob Van Dam. Defeated Christian Cage at Genesis. Defeated Robert Roode at Turning Point.

Austin Aries - Won the Super X Cup defeating Matt Bentley in the final. Lost at Bound for Glory in his resulting title match.

Team 3D - Cashed in their favour from Jeff Jarrett & severed all ties with him. Lost in a four corners match at Bound for Glory for the TNA World Tag Team Championships.

Chris Harris - Successfully defended his International Championship against James Storm at Bound for Glory, Jimmy Rave at Genesis & Eric Young at Turning Point.

Christian Cage - Won the rubber match with Booker T to finally become number one contender. Lost to AJ Styles at Genesis with the title on the line.

Giant Bloom & Tomko - Unsuccessful in their bid to become Tag Team Champions in a four corners match at Bound for Glory. Defeated the Disciples of Destruction on iMPACT! December 4th to win the titles. Successfully defended the titles against The Disciples at Turning Point.

Goldberg - Defeated Matt Morgan at Bound for Glory before losing the rematch at Genesis. Was taken out of action by Matt Morgan afterwards.

Homicide - Pushed Johnny Devine until he got a one on one title match on iMPACT! Became a two time X-Division Champion on October 2nd. Defeated Austin Aries at Bound for Glory with title on the line. Defeated Matt Bentley at Genesis & Rob van Dam at Turning Point.

Kazarian - Turned on Daniels at Survival X, ending their alliance. Lost to Daniels at Genesis but beat him one month later at Turning Point.

Kurt Angle - Lost to Robert Roode in the Iron Man match at Bound for Glory. Lost 3-2.

Lance Hoyt - Dumped Christy Hemme & aligned himself with Kid Kash. Hoyt & Kash were unsuccessful in their attempt to become three time Tag Team Champions.

Matt Bentley - Runner Up in Super X Cup.

Motor City Machine Guns - Unsuccessful in their bid to regain the Tag Team titles both on iMPACT! & at Bound for Glory.

Samoa Joe - Got involved in a confrontation with Brock Lesnar at Bound for Glory. Joe won the resulting match at Genesis before Lesnar tied the scores at Turning Point.

Robert Roode - Defeated Kurt Angle in an Iron Man match at Bound for Glory. Defeated Sting at Genesis to become number one contender. Lost to AJ Styles at Turning Point with the World Championship on the line.

Christy Hemme - Lost the TNA Knockouts Championship to Vixen on iMPACT! Before losing her rematch at Bound for Glory. Formed an alliance with Ms. Brooks that seen the two use their “charms” to get men to do their dirty work.

Vixen - Defeated Christy Hemme to become champion. Became a fighting champion as she defended the title every week on iMPACT! Beating Gail Kim, Jazz, ODB, MsChif, Daffney, Roxxi, Rain, Angelina Love, Lacey & Velvet Sky before eventually losing to Melissa at Turning Point.

Team Canada won the World X Cup. Petey Williams with the deciding fall on Jerry Lynn at Bound for Glory.

Why on earth did you put the belts on the Harris Boys? That was the only real problem I had with all the shows!

Two reasons.

1. Build for a match with four of the biggest hard hitters on the roster. Harris Brothers vs Tomko & Bloom.

2. The main reason. Get the Machine Guns out of the tag divison. Over the next few months they were to go their seperate ways. Sabin would become X-Division champion. Shelley would congratulate him but them ambush him leading to a series of matches between the two for the title. Refreshs the X-Division which has been dominated by Homicide for most of the year.
