Re: TNA 2008

Nice btb God i do however question the credibility of Roode in the main event and now a main eventer.

Although TNA is filled with the WWE rejects, i feel someone else would be more beneficial to the main event instead of Roode.

He'd need to be developed beyond belief before even being considered main event level.

As for Russo, have Abyss destroy him with a black hole slam

Re: TNA 2008

May 9th 2008

The Outlaw def. Brian Christopher via Pinfall.

Tyler Black def. Cassidy Reily via Pinfall.

Judas Mesias def. Apolo via Pinfall.

May 15th 2008

We open iMPACT! with the ultra popular, in his own mind anyway, Vince Russo in the ring. Russo begins by thanking the fans for their tremendous support of the great job he is doing already. This causes the fans to boo louder & Russo can barely be heard. Russo continues talking until a stage hand informs him that the no-one can hear him. Russo turns his mic up & speaks over the crowd.

Russo tells everyone in attendance that next week he will start making some changes to TNA. Russo says he has been sitting at home & watching & wondering how some people are still employed. Russo then says he is a fair man so he will give everyone one last chance. But next week, the firings begin.

Russo does however have some positive news. King of the Mountain is once again going to main event Slammiversary. The difference this year however is he & Jim Cornette each get to choose two guys to compete. Christopher Daniels being the fifth man. Russo says he is expecting Cornette to do qualifying matches or probably a tournament to decide his entrants. Russo says he however is giving the slots to people who have earned them.

Russo says the first entrant has already been decided. He took the champion all the way at Sacrifice & now he is getting a well deserved second chance, Robert Roode. Roode appears atop the ramp way with Scott D'Amore not far behind. Roode remains atop the ramp as Russo thanks the fans for their time. Russo leaves the ring & heads towards Robert Roode. Russo shakes his hand & then D'Amore's as they head backstage whilst in conversation.

The Beautiful People W/ Lacey

vs

Rain & MsChif

Despite not winning a contract last week, MsChif has returned this week to aid the woman who beat her against the Beautiful People who cost MsChif that match.

Velvet Sky & Angelina Love did a great job of keeping Rain isolated & making quick tags to keep themselves fresh. Rain did however manage to break the offence with a basement dropkick to Love but a quick tag to Sky put Rain back on the defensive.

Sky & Love would attempt a double suplex but Rain blocked it by hitting a double DDT instead. Rain managed to get MsChif into the match. MsChif, having been on the outside for most of the match, comes in on fire. MsChif was hitting clotheslines on anything that moved & nearly took out her partner by accident. MsChif stopped just before she hit Rain but the momentary delay allowed Love & Sky to regain the advantage.

MsChif was sent into Rain who in turn was sent to the outside. With Rain on the floor Lacey made her way around & stood on her back to keep her out of the match. MsChif falls victim to a back breaker from Angelina love followed by a punt to the head by Velvet Sky. Sky makes the cover & gets the three count.

Result: The Beautiful People via Pin fall.

After the match Lacey joins Love & Sky in celebrating in the ring. Rain gets to her feet & begins to enter the ring but thinks better of it.

We cut backstage now where Johnny Devine is working out when Christy Hemme pays him a visit.

Christy is not in a good mood & blames Devine for her team losing to the Motor City Machine Guns on Sunday at Sacrifice. Devine tells Hemme he was doing as she said, so it not his fault. If anything, its her fault. Hemme slaps Devine & storms off. Devine meanwhile, has a match up next.

But first, we go to Crystal who is standing by with the number one contenders for the TNA Tag Team Championships the Motor City Machine Guns.

Crystal starts by congratulating the Machine Guns on their victory at Sacrifice but then brings up the helping hand they got from Jimmy Jacobs. Crystal asks if we can expect to see Jacobs again after tonight. Alex Shelley tells Crystal we will be seeing a lot more of Jacobs. He goes on to say when you need someone to watch your back in this business, it better be someone who has had a similar life.

Shelley tells Crystal he & Sabin are both from Michigan, as is Jimmy Jacobs. Chris Sabin butts in here & tells Crystal Jacobs is someone they can trust because he has gone through the same stuff they did. Not just because he's from Michigan. Sabin tells us Jacobs has had a similar career in wrestling, made it big in Ring of Honour & across the Indy scene before settling down in TNA.

Shelley tells Crystal they are three pea's in a pod & they have to look out for one another. Sabin says tonight, Jimmy Jacobs becomes an official member of the Motor City Machine Guns despite not being from Detroit, he's close enough. With that Jacobs comes on screen in Machine Guns attire but doesn't say anything instead he just points to Detroit on his hand like Sabin & Shelley.

Johnny Devine

vs

Jimmy Jacobs

Devine took the early advantage with an eye rake as he & Jacobs traded insults before the opening bell. Devine would hold the advantage until near the finish when Jacobs hit a spear out of the corner as Devine was charging for a clothesline. Jacobs used a ground based attack to wear down Devine before attempting the Contra Code. As Jacobs ran to the corner with Devine in the face lock, Devine dropped out & hit a school boy pin. Devine put his feet on the turnbuckles & gets the three count.

Result: Johnny Devine via Pin fall.

After the match Devine quickly slides out of the ring as Christy Hemme comes to the ring. She grabs his arm & raises it in victory as Devine looks confused with her actions.

Next on iMPACT! we have the TNA X-Division Champion Homicide in the ring. On Sunday, Homicide survived a three way against Johnny Devine & Matt Bentley before being blindsided by Petey Williams who cashed in his Feast or Fired case. Homicide somehow retained & is in a celebrating mood tonight.

Homicide is gloating about his victories despite the large bandage on his head from when Petey Williams hit him with the ring bell. Homicide down talks the X-Division by telling everyone that no-one is in his league & on Sunday, he proved it. Homicide then says he has heard rumors that TNA are looking outside the company for someone to challenge him. Homicide tells TNA Management its a waste of time, no-one on the planet can beat him.

With that Homicide's music plays but he screams he's not finished yet. Soon enough he realises he isn't the only one who uses LAX entrance music as his partner Hernandez comes to the ring. Hernandez has been out of action for several months with an injured shoulder. When Hernandez gets to the ring he high fives Homicide & is congratulating him.

Homicide tells him thanks but this is his time. Homicide asks why he is trying to steal the spotlight. Hernandez is trying to explain he meant no harm by coming out but Homicide's ego has inflated so much he thinks otherwise. Homicide tells Hernandez he is sick & tired of carrying his fat ass to titles. Homicide tells Hernandez he can keep his congratulations & kiss his ass. Homicide slams the mic into Hernandez' chest before storming off, leaving Hernandez bewildered in the ring.

Mike Tenay complains about the attitude of Homicide before he sends us backstage now to the office of the new man on the job, Vince Russo.

Russo is joined in his new office by Chris Harris & The Outlaw. Russo first deals with Harris. Russo informs Harris that the TNA Tag Title match cant be pushed back forever, Russo tells Harris if Storm isn't cleared by next week, he will have to find a new partner as the TNA Tag Team Titles are on the line next week one way or the other. Harris isn't thrilled but accepts the decision. Harris shakes the hand of Russo before leaving.

Vince Russo then asks The Outlaw what he can help him with. The Outlaw is looking in a mirror rather than paying attention. Russo grabs the mirror off The Outlaw & again asks what he wants. The Outlaw says quite simply he wants to wrestle on iMPACT! & not on Xplosion. Russo says fine & books a match for later tonight. The Outlaw says thanks & goes to leave but stops. The Outlaw then asks Russo who he is facing, Russo says Christopher Daniels in a non title match. The Outlaw is pissed as he kicks the door on his way out.

As the camera follows The Outlaw out of Russo's office it picks up Jazz who is equally as frustrated. Jazz kicks over a trashcan clearly still upset from losing at Sacrifice. Jazz rounds a corner where she bumps into Gail Kim. Gail verbally abuses Jazz & calls her an idiot. Jazz is fuming & it wont take much to set her off. Gail, keep talking & eventually Jazz decks her. Jazz throws Gail into a brick wall before kicking her in the ribs.

Jazz grabs Gail by the hair & drags her towards the entrance tunnel. Gail elbows Jazz in the ribs before shoving her up the steps to the entrance tunnel. Gail then kicks Jazz in the head to send Jazz into the arena. The Knockouts battle to the ring where Security move in.
With Jazz & Gail being held apart Vince Russo comes onstage & tells security to let them go. Russo calls for a ref & makes the brawl an official match!

Gail Kim

vs

Jazz

The match picks up where the brawling left off with neither woman gaining a clear advantage. Eventually Gail did miss a middle rope dropkick & that allowed Jazz to lock in a vicious STF. Jazz is almost bending Gail back on herself before Gail taps out.

Result: Jazz via Submission.

Despite the win, Jazz keeps the STF firmly locked in. Jacqueline Moore makes a surprise appearance as she runs to the ring & kicks Jazz in the back. Jazz lets go of the STF as Jacqueline continues the kicks. Jazz begins to fight back up but Gail recovers enough to club her from behind allowing Jacqueline to take full control.

Jacqueline pulls Jazz to her feet & hits an inverted DDT. Jacqueline helps Gail to her feet before raising her arm in victory despite losing.

After the ring has cleared Christian Cage makes his entrance. He cant be happy with AJ Styles doing to him what Christian did to AJ on iMPACT!

Cage climbs into the ring & is straight to the point. Cage calls out Styles & Styles doesn't keep him waiting long. Styles comes to the ring to much more cheers than he has been getting in recent months. Styles gets into the ring & shows he is not afraid of The Instant Classic. Styles asks Cage what he can do for him. Cage tells Styles he knows damn well why he is out here. Cage demands to know why Styles walked out on him at Sacrifice. Styles asks Cage why did he walk out on him & Robert Roode last week on IMPACT!?

Cage tells Styles he explained that already & it was a completely different situation. Styles agrees, he says this time it affected Cage hence the reason he (Christian) cares! Styles tells Cage he has had enough of playing second fiddle to an overblown egotistical bastard! Styles reminds Cage of what was offered to him to join Team Cage last year. Styles says it was a TNA World Title Match. Styles informs Cage its 14 months later & he is still waiting! Styles tells Cage he is on his own now & wants nothing to do with Christian anymore.

Cage isn't happy with what Styles has just said & refuses to accept that they are done. Cage tells Styles their will be retribution for this betrayal. Cage challenges Styles to a match at Slammiversary but Styles refuses. When Cage asks if he is scared Styles tells Cage he was talking to Russo before coming out & he got Cage a match for Slammiversary.

Cage asks who & the entrance music of Tomko plays. Styles tells Cage its another man who was offered something that he didn't get either, only this guy has put up with it for years.
Styles tells Cage to enjoy his match before dropping his mic & leaving the ring. Tomko & Cage have a stare down but it doesn't go any further.

The Outlaw

vs

Christopher Daniels

Basically a warm up match for Daniels as he easily saw off the challenge of the Outlaw. The Outlaw started brightly but Daniels soon took control & didn't ease up. Daniels hit a B.M.E. followed by the Angel Wings for the convincing win.

Result: Christopher Daniels via Pin fall.

Daniels was bearly back to his feet after the three count when Robert Roode jumped him from behind. Roode blindsided Daniels with a Northern Lariat. Roode then used Daniels own belt to knock him out as he drove it into the forehead of the champion. Roode, still upset at losing on Sunday, hits Daniels with the Pay-Off for good measure. Security move in before Roode can even think about doing any further damage to the champion.

Main Event time on iMPACT! now!

The Main Event this week is a Gang Warfare three pointer featuring Vampiro taking on Sting!

Vampiro

vs

Sting

Sting & Vampiro renewed their rivalry in this hard hitting main event that showed both men can still go. After Vampiro had kicked out of the Scorpion Death Drop & Sting out of Nail in the Coffin James Mitchell called for reinforcements. Abyss & RelliK came to the ring but where cut off by Sonjay Dutt, Shark Boy & Eric Young. A five man brawl ensues on the ramp way as Judas Mesias comes from under the ring. Mesias slides into the ring & Sends Sting Straight to Hell. Mesias rolls out of the ring but Earl Hebner has spotted him.

Result: Sting via DQ.

Mesias & Vampiro don't seem to care that they lost as they go after Sting with a vicious beat down. Triple xXx make an unsuccessful run in as The Naturals & Austin Creed join the brawl on the ramp way. Jerry Lynn is next to the ring but he gets Sent to Hell by Mesias as well. Austin Aries hits Mesias in the back with a chair as the weapons come into play. Aries goes for Vampiro but gets punched in the throat first. Vampiro turns to pick up the chair & gets greeted by Kaz with Wave of the Future. Sting crushes Kaz in the corner with a Stinger Splash as all sixteen men involved in Gang Warfare are fighting it out as we go off the air.

Re: TNA 2008

Dude nice show. But what are you doing to Jimmy Jacobs ?? Him and Alex Shelley hate each other. The had a huge feud for like 2 years in a lot of Indus. Hes a full fledged member of the MCMG ? oh my ! lol dnt mean to sound harsh, its just this would never happen. And he lost as well lol bad nyt for Jimmy fans

Like the Tomko v Christian match for the ppv that should be good.

Also like seeing Rain and Lacey in TNA that's really good, Evan do Rain and Lacey are a team in Shimmer and where in ROH.

The Gang warfare is meh dude, you should be having something else as your main event. Vampiro aint getting over lol

Re: TNA 2008

I'm going to use the Basham & Damaja example here. They were hated rivals in OVW. They were brothers then in WWE & friends in TNA.

Different companies have different rules man. But i am aware of the history of Jacobs & Shelley aswell as Lacey & Rain & this isnt just to give them airtime. I have it planned out. Jacobs more so than the Knockouts tho.

Re: TNA 2008

When i started i had a list of four i consider good enough to main event & so i wanted to build my main event around them. One of them was Daniels, another is Roode. Hopefully my third will be in the main event by Hard Justice (August PPV). The fourth tho will take a while longer.
