The Smackdown Six! Wow, this brings back some memories. I always loved this time period. You have so much potential with the cast of stars in the main event. I would of liked for a little bit of a backstory, but I guess you're just gonna pick up straight after WrestleMania. Best of luck.

I think when you're just picking up from a well known point in the WWE, you don't need much of a backstory, he's kept the WM19 results the same.

    Best of luck with this.

I decided to not go with a backstory due to it just being picked up from a certain timeframe, so that way I'm just continuing after Wrestlemania...

Thank you, first show will be up either Tuesday or Friday due to me wanting to post when Smackdown would actually have been on. So I think Friday for Smackdown shows and Sundays for any PPV's...

Re: WWE 2003: The Smackdown Six

Loved Smackdown during 2002,2003 and half of 2004. Hopefully you can keep up with the pure awesomeness that was Smackdown of 03. Hopefully you can get another heel into the main event since you only have Big Show there. Good luck with this, I'll be reading.

Re: WWE 2003: The Smackdown Six

    April 3rd 2003
    Spokane, Washington
    Announcers:

[A pretty long video highlights Wrestlemania 19, including Brock Lesnar’s shooting star press which missed but then shows Brock with the WWE title…

    I’M ALL GROWN UP!]

[The crowd cheers as the general manager of Smackdown steps out and declares Wrestlemania as one of the greatest of all-time! It seems Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar will not be at Smackdown this week due to injuries. The WWE champion has suffered a severe concussion and is off to mend whilst Kurt Angle is out due to a hamstring and neck injury. Therefore tonight we find out who will face Brock Lesnar for the WWE title at Backlash!!]

    Match #1

    John Cena vs Eddie Guerrero
    No 1 Contender Tournament

[The first match of the night saw young and cocky John Cena face ‘Latino Heat’ in a great back and forth opener. Cena took his brawling style and seemed to be easily beating Eddie Guerrero but Eddie fought back and hit the 3 Amigo’s late on. Eddie called for the Frog Splash but Cena rolled into the corner and away from it as Eddie hit the mat hard. Cena was playing around in the corner as Eddie went up close to Cena’s back and Cena suddenly punched Eddie and Eddie was floored. Cena then quickly dove for the cover and 1 –- 2 –- 3! Cena advances!]

Winner by pinfall: John Cena @ 7:28

[As soon as the bell rings Cena is up and pulls his chain from the corner and celebrates up the ramp as Eddie starts to come to…]

    OH YEAAAAAAA!

[The crowd boos as the Cruiserweight champion comes walking down to the ring holding his title aloft. Hardy grabs a microphone and says that Wrestlemania 19 was his greatest moment in his career, better than the TLC’s and tag team titles. All because he finally beat the“super-man” Rey Mysterio and he did it at the biggest stage of them all, WRESTLEMANIA!! Hardy says how he fought to lose the weight to qualify for the title and take it from Billy Kidman and now he has shown his true Mattitude and kept the weight off to defeat the “glory boy” of the Cruiserweight division. Hardy then issues a challenge for next week for any cruiserweight on the roster to face him in the ring and Hardy will show just how unworthy the cruiserweights are underneath the “Era of Mattitude!!” Hardy then walks out as the crowd boo…]

    Match #2

    A-Trainvs Chris Benoit
    Number 1 Contender Tournament

[Chris Benoit starts the match trying to work onthe big man’s arm but A-Train kept powering out. A-Train tried going TrainWreck but Benoit reverses it before locking in the crossface!! A-Train struggles but soon has to tap out!!]

Winner by Submission: Chris Benoit @ 4:35

    NO CHANCE!!

[Vince McMahon comes walking down to the ring and he still has some of the scars from his street fight against Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania. Vince steps into the ring and he is given a microphone to which he announces that he has come to Smackdown for one reason only…Hulk Hogan! The crowd cheer at the name of Hogan and McMahon says the crowd would love Hogan to come out here and kick Mr McMahon’s ass once again and the crowd cheer even more. However that’s not going to happen. McMahon announces that he now declares that Hulk Hogan is suspended and is not allowed to come anywhere near a Smackdown show! The crowd gives a huge boo as McMahon smiles and says that all the Hulkamaniacs best remember all the good times because that is all they are going to be…memories! Vince then says that he promised to kill Hulkamaniac and that is exactly what he is going to do! Vince then leaves the ring as thecrowd boos and starting a “Hogan” chant…]

There is a small hype video for Sean O’Haire who will be returning to the WWE next week…

    Match #3

    Big Show vs Rikishi
    Number 1 Contender Tournament

[The crowd seemed behind Rikishi but Big Showjust took it Rikishi and continued to pound on the big man. Rikishi just didn’t look like he believed he could defeat Big Show and out of desperation suddenly superkicked Show down to the mat. Rikishi tried to recuperate but Rikishi turned around to Show grabbing him by the throat. Rikishi fought out of it and Big Show was pushed back by Rikishi and Rikishi went for another superkick but Big Show ducked and suddenly low-blowed Rikishi?! The referee instantly calls for the bell?!]

Winner by DQ: Rikishi @ 7:49

[The crowd exploded for Rikishi winning but Show looked furious and grabbed the referee and chokeslamming him before grabbing a steel chair and smashing it over RIkishi’s back and then his head and left the ring irate and leaving Rikishi on the mat…]

    ”MEDAL”

[The crowd gives a huge boo as the Tag Team champions Team Angle come down to the ring. They have microphones and Charlie Haas says that tonight is the continuation of Team Angle ruling the tag team division here in the WWE. Shelton Benjamin then added that after defeating Los Guerrero and Chris Benoit & Rhyno, they thought they might get everybody’s respect but now they don’t care. Charlie Haas then demands the team they are going to destroy come out now!]

    Match #4

Team Angle vs Funaki & Tajiri

[Funaki & Tajiri came down and Haas & Benjamin just smirked at each other. Haas and Benjamin dissected Funaki but after a hot tag to Tajiri, Tajiri started to look like he was going to win the match when he kicked Haas in the head. However Shelton just saved the match before Funaki took him over the top rope and to the outside. Haas and Tajiri startedto brawl when Tajiri called for Buzzsaw Kick but Shelton snuck in and superkicked Tajiri and Tajiri backed into a German Suplex pin and Haas got the3 count!]

Winners by pinfall: Team Angle @6:46

    Match #5

    The Undertaker vs Rey Mysterio
    Number 1 Contender Tournament

[The Main Event of the night is Rey Mysterio facing the Deadman and Mysterio tries to use his speed to beat the big dog. Mysterio is looking for the 619 late on in the match but Undertaker ducks outof the way. Mysterio went for a flying clothesline but Undertaker grabbed him by the throat and went for the chokeslam. Mysterio was lifted up but he reversed it into the arm bar. However Undertaker soon got out of it and started to attack Mysterio’s arm and went for the old school. Mysterio is knocked to the mat and Undertaker lifts his arm into the air to a huge cheer. Undertaker sets up for the Last Ride and lifts Mysterio up but Mysterio starts to pound on Undertaker’s head. Undertaker backed off and Mysterio backflipped off before running at the ropes and dropkicking Undertaker’s knee before springboarding off the ropes and going for the West Coast Pop but Undertaker ducks it again. Rey then turns into the chokeslam and Undertaker covers –- 1 –- 2 –- 3! Undertaker goes through!]

Winner by pinfall: The Undertaker @12:38

[The shows ends with Undertaker lifting ReyMysterio up and shaking his hand before Rey left the ring and Undertaker liftedhis hand into the air as the crowd cheered…]

Re: WWE 2003: The Smackdown Six

Nice solid opening SMACKDOWN show. I also enjoyed this time period for SMACKDOWN and I think there are so many ways you can take this. Will you choose to build up Eddie Guerrero, John Cena and Rey Mysterio as in real life? How will you make it different? I'm predicting a triple threat for the title between Brock Lesnar, the tournament winner (hmm, Undertaker) and Kurt Angle (rematch). That would be an epic PPV main event. Maybe you need to consider other feuds though other than the title picture? Don't let your show be dominated by one thing. Other than Haas and Benjamin's squash of Tajiri and Funaki and Vince suspending Hogan, there was nothing else.

    Good luck, am reading.
