International Promotional Wrestling
Sign-Up Process: 1. Select a name for your promotion. Feel free to be creative and intuitive, there is no need to copy names such as WWE, WWF. NWA, TNA, ROH etc. You may use those but your creativity level may be viewed as minimal.
2. Your promotion will have a Salary Cap of $5,000,00. With your salary you will be responsible for drafting a roster for your promotion without exceeding your totally salary cap. (See below for further instructions for drafting, re-signing, free agents, and special wrestlers.)
3. There is no limit on how many or how few wrestlers you may sign but remember that your roster size and members will greatly affect how well your weekly shows can be written.
4. Finally from below select a day and hourly time slot you wish to air your promotion. The days and hour slots vary by price based on time (eg. Prime time vs. Early A.M. Hours) and day. But so do the pay off rewards for how well your show is written.
The objective of this thread will be to see who can write the best show while accumulating the most money. Also further below will be more information on the details of the game such as cost vs. rewards, show competitions, show costs and much more.
Weekly Television Airing
Each day and time slot vary in costs from inexpensive to very expensive. It is your responsibility to select a time slot and day and purchase it, adding the cost to your total expenses in your Salary Cap. Each contract is signed for an eight week period. That allows your schedule to air up to eight weekly shows and two pay per views.
Each week your show will be posted on the day you have purchased. If there is an issue with that you will need to PM me and typically I will allow you to post up to 24 hours early or later than your original date. After all the shows have been posted for that day I will declare the winner of the week for that day. That person will make the total listed under profit for their show. All others shows will receive fifty percent of their totally available payout.
All shows that are posted more than twelve hours past the day they are due (PST) will be fined the value of two shows.
Voting
Voting will take place by the members of the promotion that did not write a show for that day of the week.
Monday Nights:
Cost: $250,000 (for eight weeks)
Reward For Winning The Night: $75,000
Thursday Nights:
Cost: $100,000 (for eight weeks)
Reward For Winning The Night: $30,000
Friday Nights:
Cost: $185,000 (for eight weeks)
Reward for Winning The Night: $45,000
Saturday Nights:
Cost: $215,000
Reward For Winning The Night: $60,000
Pay Per Views
Pay Per Views are allowed after a minimum of three shows and no more than a maximum of five shows unless finicaly unavailable. Pay Per Views cost the value of four shows, so half of your eight week contract. But the payoff potentially can be huge.
Your PPVs will be graded by me on a value of one to ten. Whatever score I give that show, it will be multiplied alongside your revenue for the week. (For example if you can win $45,000 and I score you an eight you multiply $45,000 times eight for a grand total of $360,000.)
The Free Agency
Every free agent is presented in their own category. Signing a wrestler costs x dollars. The higher the category the more money it costs to sign a wrestler. Each wrestler is on a first come first serve basis. Once they are singed by a promotion you can no longer sign them. You can offer to buy them or trade for them.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you buy a wrestler from another promotion you pay that contract for the eight weeks they are signed. After that their contract is then reset to the original value.
When a wrestlers contract is coming to an end you have 12 hours from your last show to resign them. If you fail to do so, intentionally or unintentionally they immediately go on a 24 hour wait list. Once that 24 hours is up they are free to be signed by any promotion.
Trading Wrestlers
-You can trade wrestlers for other wrestlers, or for a certain amount of money. Trading is very straight forward. Since all wrestlers contracts are paid for up front trading a wrestler does not take the financial burden of their contract off your shoulders.
