Are we the only ones bidding?
Others are bidding, but they just might not be around or might not be interested in countering bids.
After an hour of this I realized that bidding could go on forever under the current rules that everybody has 24 hours after the last bid. Hopefully everybody is cool with this, but I'm going to change the rules slightly so that we can all get our rosters finalized.
Everybody has 24 hours after the OPENING BID to outbid. Meaning since I bid on Jericho at 7:45 PM today as an opening bid for that wrestling, the auction expires at 7:45 PM tomorrow. Try not to bid at the last moment as that's pretty lame. Just bid for the guys you want and see how it goes.
Also, one new rule. If you are in a bidding war for a guy. Once you drop out of that bidding war you can no longer rejoin it until he is a free agent once again. Meaning, I dropped out of a bidding war for Aeries, so I can no longer place a last minute bid on him. Just to keep things fair.

Yeah you get points back. It's a bid, just like when you bid on something on eBay if you don't win the auction you don't have to pay for the item. Just do me a favour and update your points to reflect that you chose a Thursday Night TV Deal which is 48 Points. In turn you should be 333/400 with that added on. It just keeps things more square.

Read the thread. You chose a bunch of guys who have already been taken. Meaning, you have to offer them a higher amount of points to beat out the other people bidding. Take a quick look at your roster in correlation to that and then retool it.
Also, everybody keep in mind TV Deals cost points. Monday Night is 72, Thursday is 48, and Saturday is 24. This must be deducted right away before bidding on wrestlers as you NEED to always have a TV deal. Veritas, when adding in your TV deal you are actually at 372/400
