The WWE Network Established, A Huge Announcment Made
It was friday september 25th 2009, smackdown had just finished airing and many thought it had been another enjoyable show from the blue side of things on the road to Hell In A Cell. After every show WWE would usually hold a press conference to answer any questions regarding what occured. Tonight, many of the interviewers had thought that this would be like any other press but this was different, tonights press conference would be epic or should I say eventful. Vince came out first with his son and daughter at both sides and the rest of the seats laid unoccupied. Vince sat down with a serious look. Many commenced darting many questions at him out of nowhere though none of them were answered aws Vince would wait till everyone had finished questioning and realize he wasn't answering any of them. Vince finally began to speak. He firstly welcomed everyone to the press and then declared that things would be going differently tonight. He claimed that tonight he wanted to reveal something to them all. He ordered one of the crew man to bring down a projector and so it was done. The projector stayed blank at first because Vince wanted to say something first. He reminded everyone that Vince and the WWE had been planning on having a Wrestling Network or more like a WWE network for weeks and weeks even months. He also reminded us that to get a network we would need a channel for this reason he would like to announce the newly acquired SPIKE TV. The logo came across the projector and Vince explained that he has bought the tv and fromk this second on the official website of Spike TV would direct everyone to the WWE NETWORK. Many clapped acknowledging that Wrestling had taken a new level in their competition with MMA. Vince also revealed that if you were to turn on the former Spike TV channel right now that you would see the past Raw airing.
He waited a few seconds for this to be taken in then spoke once more, he explained that he knew they were all wondering what would be showcased beside Smackdown, Raw, ECW on Sci Fi and Superstars. Well first off he said in a excited tone, Vintage Collection hosted by Gene Okerlund will now be shown on the WWE Network. He also claimed that he has respectfully cut all his deals with US Network and MyNetworkTV, WGN America and finally Sci Fi so that they could all be shown on WWE Network. In addition ECW on Sci Fi would now simply be called ECW and would air on a prime time tv slot. Alonside ECW, Superstars will also be going on a Prime Time TV Slot. Another man immediately darted a question at Vince asking waht would happen to TNA since they had been airing on Prime Time on Spike itself. Vince grin grew bigger as he explained that when he had bought Spike TV he was on the verge of releasing TNA from their Network and that TNA would just have to showcase their stuffs on Sky TV or the Fight Network at 11PM.Vince stopped speaking but it didn't look like it was really in an interruption or a shock for Vince when Dixie came out of the curtains and took a seat next to Dixie and begun speaking herself. She explained that she met up with Vince and claimed that she had not wanted her company to go under as it was like a mother and her baby basically, she continued to saying that she wanted to stay on the WWE network despite them being rivals. Vince had declined respectfully she continued and claimed that Vince was not going to simply let TNA die if Dixie cared about it that much then she would give Dixie some mercy, he declared to Dixie that he would buy TNA and continue airing. Dixie concluded her story by explaining that she will take part in supervising TNA but as from tonight on she is no longer the owner of TNA and neither are Vince Russo or the Jarretts bookers for the company. A lot of turmoil was caused by this recent annoucment everyone shocked.
This truly meant that Vince had won once more in the main stream war. A interviewer darted a question past him asking when would TNA air if Superstars was on Prime Time slot each thursdays. Vince contracticted her and claimed that he had not in fact siad that Superstars would still be airing thursdays he had only explained that they were airing on Prime Time slot but in fact Superstars would now be showing each and evey Sundays on Prime Time. Dixie got up leaving Vince to continue the interview. Next out came Cary Silkin and the turmoil began again everyone wondering what Vince was planning to do with Cary Silkin here. Vince grinned got even bigger as no one would expect it too and he spoke once more. He explained that Vince wanted to expand his collection even more. Silkin continued from here saying he made a bad choice in buying ROH because it wasn't gaining success though he was not going to let it die, he was going to do whats best for the company and sell it to Vince as Vince was not only going to keep TNA alive but he was going to keep ROH alive each wednesday on the prime time slot on the WWE Network. Vince smiled again as the interviewers talked to each other on this matter.
Another interviewer threw a sarcastic question at Vince saying that Vince had a show on prime time each mondays which is raw, each tuesdays which is ecw, each wednesday which was roh, each thursday which was tna, each friday which was smackdown and each sundays which was superstars he asked was Vince planning to air something each saturday. Vince didn't take this question sarcastically and answered with a As A Matter of Fact, Yes. The questionner looked astonished at the answer. Vince continued saying that its about time he makes a use of the WCW library, of course he was not going to bring back the wars that would be idiotic for his flagship show, he decided that he was now going to air it each saturday at prime time. He then followed up by saying that everything was being reset from now on, all the championships were vacated, all the general managers, commentators, ring announcers, backstage interviewers, divas, knockouts, wrestlers and superstars were reset and did not belong to any brand, the storylines would be reset though some might continue and that their was going to be a draft on the wwe site to decide everything. He went on to say that each show would now be one hour shows and for those hard core ROH, ECW and TNA fans that everything would be kepts as normal, TNA would have its six sided ring and everything, ROH would have it's code of honor and every ECW match would now be extreme. He concluded by saying that the draft would take place till monday where the first newest show of the WWE network would air. He got up leaving with his children who had spoken no words whatsoever just smiled and grinned.

*Subject to change the championships are just the ones they had last before they went offline or were reset. Most brands will have three championships and I think that for now I'm going to be having Superstars as ECW on Sci Fi type of brand. Anyways pay-per-views will be settled later on. Comments will be replied seven fold... no pun intended
