Back story -
For years in the wrestling business there have been many stars who were overlooked, there have been many stars who never got there chance to got to top pf the ladder. Now they will all finally get there chance, The guys who get pushed aside do to main event wrestlers not willing to pass the torch will now be the top guys in the industry. This is GWO where the superstars become megastars.

Event - Our Time
Location - Comcast center, Collage Park Maryland

Show intro -
Dusty Rhoads - “Good evening to everyone all around the world, This is the American Dream Dusty Rhoads. You are about to whiteness the first ever edition of GWO Our Time. At the table with me tonight is Mark Madden.”

Mark Madden - “ Thanks Dusty its great to be here, I know that tonight when the fans leave this arena they will never forget the events that took place.”

Dusty Rhoads - “That’s right Mark, and to kick things off tonight we will see the founder, the owner of the GWO Ted Dibiase Sr., who is head are way right now. So lets head to the ring to see what he has to say.”
In ring promo -

Howard Finkle - “Ladies and Gentlemen the owner of the GWO… Ted Dibiase [crowd pop].”
Ted is making his way down to the ring to a huge ovation and he looks really excited to be here.

Ted Dibiase - “Thank you Howard its great to be here [crowd pop], and thanks to all of you out there tonight for that worm welcome over 15,000 of you here tonight, Give your self a hand [crowd pop].
Howard Finkel - “I understand you have several announcements for us here tonight so why don’t you start from page one.”
Ted Dibiase - “Well I tell you what Howard I have 2 big announcements here tonight so let me start with this. First off we will have our self a fatal four way match to determine our first ever GWO World Champion [crowd pop], That match will consist of AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, John Morrison and Bryan Danielson [crowd pop].”

Howard Finkel - “That will be a huge main event here tonight now what is your second big announcement here tonight sir.”
Ted Dibiase - “I was just getting to that, you see you would think that was the bigger of the two announcement but it was not. I admit I did make this company to give stars a shot a the big time that normally would not get there shot. But I also made it to make money [crowd pop]. So you see to make money we need at least one man here that has already been to the top of the industry, one man who can be the face of the GWO, well that one man will be making his debut here later tonight [crowd pop]. But you will have to wait to see who it is till then.”
Howard Finkel - “Thank you for your time sir and the best of luck to you and the GWO [crowd pop].”

Ted leaves to a huge ovation from the fans that lasts several minutes as we cut to commercial.

Commercial break.

Announcer segment -

Dusty Rhoads - “ What a statement by our owner, He has announced a world title match here tonight, and that’s not all, we will have a mega star from wrestling’s past debut here tonight.”

Mark Madden - “ And to top off all of that we learned our first match in our history will also be a title match, The Tag team championship will be on the line in just a moment. Dusty why don’t you fill our fans at home in who will be in that match.”

Dusty Rhoads - “ Gladly Mark, we will see the team of Bret and Ted Dibiase known as Dynasty face off against The Colons Carlito and Primo, and that match is right now, lets head to the ring.”

Match 1
GWO World Tag Titles
The Colons vs. Dynasty
Match description -
The bell rings and were under way. Ted and Carlito are standing in the ring and look ready to go. Ted makes the first move and takes Carlito down with a stiff clothesline. Carlito is quick back to his feet but finds himself on his back again after a second clothesline from Ted. Dibiase puts Carlito in an armbar which is inflicting a lot of pain on Carlito. Finally after about 30 seconds Carlito is able to break the hold and get to his feet, he rushes to his corner and makes the Hot tag and in comes Primo. Ted quickly gains control again by landing a hard right fist to the jaw of Primo and drops him to the mat. Ted goes to the corner and tags in his brother Bret, Bret climbs the turnbuckle and hit’s a frog splash, the ref begins to count 1...2... Primo is able to kick out at the last second and the match continues. Primo is able to crawl to his corner and tag in Carlito, Bret has no clue Carlito has been tagged back in since he is arguing with the ref about the slow count before. Carlito takes advantage and knocks Ted off the ring corner and the hit’s the Back Breaker on Bret and goes for a cover. 1...2...3 and that’s the match we have our first tag team champions.

Winner - The colons by pin fall after a back breaker to Bret Dibiase and they become the first ever GWO tag champs.

Post match -

Carlito - “ It was only a matter of time before the cool guys were back on top [crowd pop], in the WWE I was made into a jobber [crowd boos] and for what, so guys like John Cena and Triple H can hog the spotlight.”

Primo - “ At least you had times where you were treated fairly, I on the other hand never held a singles title nor was I given the chance to win one.”

Carlito - “ The point is we were not given a fair chance there, and that’s all over [crowd pop], we are now tag champions after one match in GWO we are the Tag Team Champs [crowd pop]. Let us be heard now, we will back down from no challenge and we are a tag team for the fans [crowd pop].”
The colons head up the ramp to the backstage area to a huge pop and we cut to a commercial break.

Commercial break.

Announcer segment -

Dusty Rhoads - “ Welcome back, we just saw a great display of athleticism and strength. The Colons are now the GWO Tag champs and I am not surprised.”

Mark Madden - “ You said it Dusty, They came in with a goal and did not look back. It was a great effort by the opponents thought they came up just short.”

Dusty Rhoads - “ Well lets move on to the next match, we just found out that our next match will be for the GWO International title, and that match will be between MVP and Shelton Benjamin.”

Mark Madden - “ That match may steel the show Dusty and its coming up right now, lets head to the ring.”

Match 2
GWO International Championship
MVP vs. Shelton Benjamin
Match description -
Benjamin and Porter are in the center of the ring and the bell sounds, the two me lock horns and the match is underway. Shelton gains momentum with a knee to the gut of MVP, as he gets back to his feet Benjamin hits him with a spin around kick to the face. MVP is down on the mat and Benjamin climbs to the top rope. He attempts a flying elbow but MVP avoids disaster just in time. Benjamin is now in pain and MVP takes advantage. He puts Benjamin in a figure four leg lock and applies the pressure. Benjamin is about to tap but at the last minute he is able to reverse the hold. MVP is very weak and could tap at any moment, but just then Benjamin releases the hold and both men are out on the mat. The ref starts to count them out 1...2...3...4 neither man is showing signs of life. The count continues 5...6... Finally MVP begins to get up, 7...8... MVP is up on one knee and nearly to his feet 9.….. And he is up just in time to stop the count. Benjamin is still out on the mat and MVP goes to the top to try and finish him off. MVP goes for a frog splash and connects, MVP is waiting for Benjamin to get to his feet, Benjamin is slowly but surely getting up. As he gets all the way to his feet MVP is waiting for him and hit’s the Playmaker and goes for a cover 1..2..3 match over [crowd pop].

Winner - MVP via pin fall after the Playmaker

Post match -

MVP drops to his knees and raises his hands in the air, the ref hands him the international title and the crowd is on there feet. MVP poses for awhile to the crowds delight and eventually heads to the back.

Announcer segment -

Dusty Rhoads - “ What a match this could be up for match of the year award, we all just got a PPV quality match on broadcast television.”

Mark Madden - “ I cant believe the show those two men put on, It is one that will go down as a classic, but the night is about to get bigger, up next we have a 15 man over the top battle royal to determine the # 1 contender to the GWO World title.”

Dusty Rhoads - “ That’s right, the winner of the battle royal will go on to face the winner of the fatal four way match later tonight at the first ever GWO PPV Road To Greatness in three weeks. We are going to take a quick break and when we come back get ready for the biggest battle royal you will ever see.”

Commercial break.

I mean really was there any one in that match besides my partner Colt Cabana that had a real shot at winning. All that aside I won the match because I deserved it more then anyone else did [crowd heat], and now that I have won I am one step closer to the top. I now will go on to face the winner of the main event title match later tonight. Let me say this to who ever wins that match you will regret it [crowd heat]. Come PPV in tree weeks you will whiteness the first title change in GWO history and you will also see the last. When I win the title I promise all of you I will never be defeated [crowd heat].”

Announcer segment -

Dusty Rhoads - “ I have to say I was backing my son Cody in that match but CM Punk was the better man, either way it was one hell of a battle royal and look forward to the title defense for CM Punk at the PPV.”

Mark Madden - “ All I can say is what a match, and CM Punk winning made it all the better, he made the match what it was with 5 eliminations the most of anyone in the match.”

Dusty Rhoads - “ Its been a hell of a night and it will only get better because coming up after this commercial break we will see out fatal four way world title match, don’t go anywhere we will be right back.”

In ring segment -

Ted Dibiase Sr. makes his way back to the ring to welcome the star from wrestling’s past.

Ted Dibiase - “ has this been a hell of a night or what [crowd pop], I tell you what I had no idea it would turn out so well. The best thing is that its going to get even better. With out any further stalling allow me to introduce the new commissioner of the GWO…. Rowdy Roddy Piper [crowd pop].”
The Hot Rod makes his way down to the ring to the biggest pop of the night.

Rowdy Roddy Piper - “ My how great it feels to be here tonight [crowd pop], and you know when I was given the chance to be the GWO commissioner I could not pass it up. This company is the story of my life see I to was overlooked because of guys like Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Andre The Giant I could go on for ever. The point is I was better then all of them and I should have had the belt. The reason I cam here is to make sure that happens to nobody here [crowd pop], I will make sure anyone who deserves a shot gets it and that will start next week. MVP you won a title here tonight you will be defending it next week to Cody Rhoads in a last man standing match [crowd pop]. That’s about all I have to say and I will see you all next week [crowd pop].”

Piper and Dibiase head to the back and we cut to commercial.

Commercial break.

Announcer segment -

Dusty Rhoads - “ I am proud to here next week my son will be in a match for the International title, but lets worry about tonight first it is now time for the fatal four way world title match so lets head down to the ring for the action.”

Match 4 main event
GWO World Championship
AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe vs. John Morrison vs. Bryan Danielson
Match description -

The four men are in the ring locked in a stare down and the bell rings. Morrison strikes first with a huge Nitro Blast on Danielson and he is out cold. Joe and styles appear to be somewhat intimidated from the kick and Morrison goes to cover Danielson 1..2..3 and he is out just like that. Styles strikes Joe with a spinning heel kick to the jaw and he takes down the big man. Joe is quick back to his feet and does a back rake to Styles, Styles is in pain from the pervious move and Joe takes him down by tackling him at the knees. Mean wile Morrison has climbed up to the top rope and hit’s a frog splash on Styles and goes for a cover 1..2.. Kick out by Styles at the last second. Joe hit’s a suplex on Morrison and from there applies coquina clutch and Morrison is about to tap. Styles has climbed the ropes and jumps off and hit’s a dropkick to Joes face and goes for the cover 1..2..3 and Joe is out the impact of the kick was to much to withstand. Morrison takes advantage while Styles is celebrating eliminating Joe and hit’s the Nitro Blast for the second time in the match. Instead of going for a cover Morrison climbs the ropes and is attempting a shooting star press, Styles moves just in time and Morrison hit’s the mat face first and is in pain. Styles sees the opening and hit’s the Spiral Tap into a leg drop and goes for the cover 1..2 another kick out and the crowd is going crazy. Styles is in disbelief and Morrison jumps on the opportunity and hit’s the Moonlight Driver on Styles and goes for the cover 1..2, another kick out. At this point both men are in shock the crowd chants THIS IS AEWSOME…. Styles sees Morrison’s guard is down and hit’s the Brain Buster on him and again goes for a cover 1..2..3 and its all over AJ Styles is the GWO World Champion.

Winner - AJ Styles via pin fall after a brain buster to John Morrison.

Post match -

Styles is handed the belt by the ref and asks for a mic.
AJ Styles - “ Who would have thought that this match would turn out the way it did [crowd pop], I mean for me to come out on top in a fatal four way with some of the worlds best is even a bit of a shock to me. I have each and every one of you to thank for backing me here tonight and I just want you to know.”

Interruption - CM Punks music hits and he appears at the top of the stage [crowd heat].

CM Punk - “ Congrats on the win AJ, but you know your statement was only part true. You said that you beat some of the best in the world tonight but it was a lie. See I have beaten all of those me before and in just three weeks time I will beat you Styles. Its simple when talking about the best in the world there is only one name to mention and its CM Punk [crowd pop].”

AJ Styles - “ The way I look at it is I am the world Champ and that means I am number one, and until you beat me I have nothing more to say to you.”

CM Punk - “ That’s right until I beat you your number one but when I beat you I will knock you so far down the ladder you wont know what number one means any more [crowd pop].”
Punk and Styles taunt and stare each other down as the show goes of the air.

Overall, not a bad show. There is a lot I'd fix up, but there is also a lot of praise.

Things I Liked:
-Your Roster Picks. It is a good mashup of some developing guys from WWE/TNA/ROH without going overboard and stacking it with all former World Champions.

-CM Punk's promos were fairly well written. He stood out on the show.

-I like how you set up a World Championship match for next show with the battle royal. Not only did it mean Punk earned a shot, but it gives me a reason to want to read the next show.

Things I Didn't Like:
-Use more fonts, colors, bold text, etc. Format your show better. One thing that will kill a BTB's popularity is poor text formatting. People won't read past the first match if the formatting is poor.

-Carlito and Primo breaking kayfabe. I thought it was extremely silly for him to cut a promo about being made a jobber. It's one thing if he says there were politics and he was never given the headlining matches he deserved, because it isn't hard to believe that a boxer, mma fighter, or a wrestling (assuming it was real) would get a shot because he is close to the gym. But saying he was MADE to lose is just beyond silly.

-Cody Rhodes getting a shot in a last man standing match. Two things I don't like about this booking. A) What did Cody do to deserve a shot? I understand he was second in the battle royal which would have been a perfectly fine reason to grant him a shot, but that was never outlined in Piper's promo. People shouldn't just get title shots. Also, having it in a Last Man Standing match is poor booking. Last Man Standing matches are one of the most brutal matches in Pro Wrestling and should be reserved for only the most hateful brutal feuds. You don't just do crazy gimmick matches cold with no build up or feud behind them. They lose their effect that way.

I see just what you mean about the Colon's angle it was just an attempt to get them over as faces but i guess it failed lol no biggie i have more ideas. The Cody recieving a title shot bit was an attempt to give him a push but i see now why giving him a push un deserved will not work. Finally what about the format do i need to change besides adding in som color. Thanks for the review it was very helpful.

It's not really about deserving or undeserving a push. Just think of it this way, every championship match (and mostly every match with a few exceptions) should have a reason for happening.

If your goal was to give Cody the first shot at the belt you could have just had Roddy Piper say that since Cody was the runner up in the World Championship contenders match, he is giving him a shot at the secondary title.

Actually i did intend for it to say are time but if our time is the better fit i have no proble changing it. I am trying to make this the best as possible. Thanks for the help.
