North Charleston Coliseum
After the opening credits, and generic pyrotechnics show to start the night the cameras immediately cuts backstage to find current WWE Champion talking to backstage interviewer Josh Matthews.
“Josh Matthews here with current WWE Champion Randy Orton. Randy as you find yourself having been drafted to Smackdown this past week, is there anyone in particular that is a worry to you in terms of coming for you coveted WWE Championship?” - Josh Matthews
“It not really enlightening for me to say that I am one of the more hated men in the WWE, but I never came here to make friends so that has never worried me. For that reason I effectively have a bounty over my head that is only doubled when I am in possession of the title. With that being said, it means that I have to deal with the competition before they come for me. Its a dog eat dog world out there.” - Randy Orton
“What exactly do you mean by that?” - Josh Matthews
“I'm a busy man Josh, I have places to go and people to see. Now get out of my way!” - Randy Orton
Randy then walks away from Josh, pushing him away as he does so as the camera cut back to the ring once more.

World's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas) vs. Jimmy Wang Yang & Kung Fu Naki
{In the early stages of the match, Haas and Benjamin gelled well and looked like they had never been separated. Both men utilizing fast paced and co-ordinated moves that allowed both men to work in unison that really put Wang Yang and Kung Fu Naki up against the ropes. For a brief few minutes however, the direction of the match changed as Kung Fu Naki had a sudden surge and almost stole the match by rolling up Haas in the school boy pin. The momentum shift was short lived however, as Kung Fu Naki found himself on the receiving end of Super Kick from Benjamin only to be taken over with a bridging German Suplex from Haas to end the match.}
Winner: World's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas
{After the match, both Haas and Benjamin too the microphone and made it known that they had the direct intention of winning the World Tag Team Titles in the coming weeks.}

As we cut backstage once more, the figure of Chuck Taylor can be found in a conversation with none other than Paul Burchill.
“So who are you exactly, I didn't think I have ever seen you around before?” - Paul Burchill
Chuck Taylor pulls a facial expression that could be read as 'whose the idiot' before he gives Burchill a reply.
“Considering its my first day on the job I'm not surprised you haven't. With that gay little British accent of yours though you can call me Smooth Chucky T!” - Chuck Taylor
“I'd watch your mouth fellow, otherwise you might just regret messing with the like of me.” - Paul Burchill
Before Taylor can reply though, Smackdown very own Katie Lea Burchill walks in between both men and doesn't seem to pick up on the tension between her brother and Taylor.
“So bruv who is your friend, he is sort of cute?” - Katie Lea Burchill
Paul looks like he is going to say something, but is simply too slow.
“The name is Chuck Taylor, its definitely a pleasure to meet you. Any chance I can go and get a drink with you?” - Chuck Taylor
“Sure I don't see why not. Why don't you come with me now, I have nothing else on.” - Katie Lea Burchill
As Katie Lea and Chuck start walking away, Taylor turns around as he smiles at Paul before flipping him off leaving Paul Burchill looking on the verge of boiling over and flipping out of control. It is more than clear he is not pleased with what has just taken place in front of his very eyes.

Vladimir Kozlov vs. Chris Masters
{Both men brought their A-Game with them as they stepped into the ring, as both men put on a true spectacle for the Smackdown fans. So much so that it wouldn't be a surprise to see both of these men involved in the main-even scene sooner or later. Although the match was virtually even, the breakthrough came via a mistake rather than anything else. Masters had attempted a clothesline and missed and on his return from the ropes found himself wiped out with a Battering Ram.}
Winner: Vladimir Kozlov

Degeneration X members Triple H and Shawn Michaels are spotted in the car park clearly having just arrived, as both men are exchanging words.
“It was a good win for us on Sunday, and that left myself asking where do we go from here?” - Shawn Michaels
“What do you mean Shawn?” - Triple H
“Well we took on one of the most up and coming teams on Sunday and won. Do we go our separate ways and focus on our individual careers or should we continue as we and maybe get involved in the tag-team title scene.” - Shawn Michaels
“I'm not sure Shawn, I don't think I would be a bad idea to think about it all before rushing in to anything.” - Triple H
Before either man knows what is going on though Randy Orton runs from the shadows with a steel piper in his hand as he runs straight at Triple H with the pipe to the heads as Hunter drops to the floor. Shawn Michaels turns round to Orton and goes for a kick but is just not quick enough as Orton ducks only to bring in the pipe into Michael's midsection before totally dismantling HBK with the RKO! With both members of DX taken out, Orton just stands over both men and smiles.
“If you thought the world title was on offer, you can think again.” - Randy Orton

United States Championship
Miz vs. Kofi Kingston
{Kingston seemed to be adamant in winning back what was his title belt before Sunday, but what seemed to be desperation rather concentration seemed to work against him as Kingston made a number of errors that cost him chances of victory, but also almost gave Miz easy opportunities at what could have quite easily seen to be the end of the match. Kingston though seemed to have made the needed breakthrough as he took out an unsuspecting Miz out with Trouble In Paradise. However at that very same moment Dolph Ziggler ran from the back, and proceeded to take Kingston from behind with double foot drop kick leading the referee ending the match at a Disqualification.}
Winner: Kofi Kingston (Miz retains United States Championship due to Disqualification)
{As Miz left with the US Title, Ziggler continued to add insult to injury as he kicked Kingston whilst he was down as Smackdown cut to an advertisement break.

As we return from the advert break, a bruised and bandaged Triple H standing next to an angry looking Shawn Michaels can be seen walking backstage as Jim Ross and Michael Cole reveal that tonight's main even will be Degeneration X against an impromptu of Randy Orton and Chris Jericho.

Randy Orton & Chris Jericho vs. Degeneration X (Triple H & Shawn Michaels)
{Due to the fact that both Triple H and Shawn Michaels were no where near 100% both men looked out of place in the match and were easily taken apart by the likes of Orton and Jericho. In an inevitable losing battle, that match finally came to an end as Triple H found himself caught out as he was taken out via the RKO!}
Winner: Randy Orton & Chris Jericho
{As Degeneration X were quick to exit the ring, Orton celebrated the winning taunting Hunter and Michaels whilst hoisting his Championship belt above his head. However, he didn't expect an attack from Jericho from behind, as the show closed with Orton in the Walls Of Jericho clearly tapping out with Degeneration X laughing and clapping as the scene faded out to black.}
Quick Results:
Benjamin & Haas def. Wang Yang & Kung Fu Naki
Kozlov def. Masters
