-Before getting off their feet, key people in TWA feel that the obvious best thing to do would be getting a strong talent roster locked down. Several people close to the situation say that Heyman and Bischoff have contradicting opinions on who should be signed. Bischoff feels that there should be a substantial amount of well known talents, especially former World Champions, despite their age. Heyman, on the other hand, believes that younger talent should be the priority. Drulia is said to be leaning in the middle. He shot down Hogan, Goldberg, and Ultimate Warrior who were suggested by Bischoff but he as well shot down the likes of Bryan Danielson, Nigel McGueness, and Chris Hero. There have been several names signed already, and we can confirm them.
Rob Van Dam - Van Dam is the most well known talent signed thus far, and is expected to have a top spot as the main Face. He has been signed for one year.
Ken Anderson - The former "Mr. Kennedy" was signed to a one year contract, and is very likely to be elevated, depending on how well he does without his old name.
Umaga - Now known as Ekmo, the former Umaga will be keeping his old gimmick and since TWA needs a top Heel, he is expected to take that place. He has been signed to a one year contract.
Paul London - London right now is seen as the AJ Styles of TWA and is expected to take a major role in the Hardcore Division. He has been signed for six months.
Shannon Moore - Moore, much like London is expected to be majorly involved in the Hardcore Division and has been signed for six months. We expect Moore will play the part of Christopher Daniels.
D'Lo Brown - Brown is set to come in and guide the younger wrestlers, teaching them the ropes as well as adding credibility to the Hardcore Division. He has been signed for 6 months.
Sabu - Sabu, like D'Lo has is being brought in to help the youngs guys out and be a main stay in the Hardcore Division. However, he will likely jump from Midcard to Main Event when needed. He has been signed for one year.
Mike Mondo & Ken Doane - The two former Cheerleaders will be wrestling as a Tag Team as a take off off of their old stable. They won't be cheering and will have a mean streak, but they will be wrestling under the tag name of "Fighting Spirit". They have both been signed for six months.
Billy Kidman - Kidman will take a role similar to Sabu and Brown's in the Hardcore Division, and has been signed for 6 months.
Bob Holly - Holly will most likely be jobbing for the company and he is aware it. He is seen as credibly but expendable in the company's eyes. He has been signed for 6 months.
Mark Jindrak - Jindrak is said to be in line for a huge push, and Bischoff sees him as "their Orton". He feels That if pushed the right way, Jindrak could be a star. He has been signed for one year.
Lance Cade - Cade, much like Jindrak is seen to have a lot of potential but creative don't know exactly what direction they'll have for him. He has been signed for 6 months.
Lance Hoyt, Tomko & Maven Huffman - These three wrestlers will most likely be in a stable which will be a big part of the company, with Tomko and Hoyt (who will be played as if we don't know who he is) teaming and Maven taking the Hardcore Division. If the stable takes off, they may add another member elevating Maven and adding a nw guy to take over the midcards. All three talents have been signed for 6 months.
Team Canada - (Petey Williams & Johnny Devine) - Team Canada will be played off as we don't know who they are and will be doing their old gimmick for a short time. Most expect Petey to hit a hard push when the two eventually break up. They have both been signed for six months.
Sonjay Dutt - Sonjay Dutt, again to be played off as if we don't know who he is, has been signed for six months and will be taking part in the Hardcore Division.
The Naturals (Andy Douglas & Chase Stevens) - The Naturals have been signed for six months and like some others, will be played off as if we don't know they are.
Sylvan Grenier Rene Dupree - These two have only been signed for one show, possibly to, but we're not sure yet.
Quote:
As some may have noticed, TWA have changed some of their plans. They will not be doing a Womens Division and have changed their "Hybrid" Division to a Hardcore Division. I is expected to be similar to the X-Division, but the company feels as if that exact title will add a weight limit in peoples minds.

It didn't take long for Brian Kendrick to find work. Sources say that he was contacted hours after he was released by Heyman to be brought in. Bischoff is leaning for London and Kendrick to reunite, where as Heyman is leaning for more depth to the Hardcore Division. No decision has been made thus far.

While the authorities are still hiring financial agents and others to work for the internal company, The Wrestling Asylum are putting their last touches on the TV personalities.
Steve Romero, who spent a prominent amount of time in the World Wrestling Entertainment working as a Backstage Interviewer but also a short time doing play-by-play has been hired for the lead Play-by-Play Commentator.
Joel Gertner, a manager and ring announcer for the old ECW based out of Philidelphia who has somewhat of a cult following has been hired as the colored commentator for TWA. Most feel he can be the true Heel commentator who still has fan appeal that made Heenan, Lawler and Layfield the figured they were.
Lastly, as a Backstage Interviewer, Mike Adamle has been hired. Some are standing against the decision because of a huge feeling that the fans resent him, where as the hire ups feel that he can be the "dork" that they need and they can play off of him being picked on by the internet, pouring over and having him picked on by the wrestlers
All three have been signed for one year.

The decision to hire The Naturals, Team Canada, Sonjay Dutt, and Lance Hoyt was because of their former appearance on main stream television in TNA, while still being young. Star power combined with youth is something that TWA sees a lot in.
Wit that said, TWA also took into account that it would be a good idea having friends from TNA, inviting any friends of Jarrett's, were they to leave the company. Drulia is said to be ready to embrace TNA talent, especially AJ Styles, were he to come over.
Dutch Mantell, to kill some rumors, won't be coming in.
Quote:
The Wrestling Asylum's first show will debut this Wednesday, under the monichor "The Wrestling Asylum: Chaos Theory"
To add to this, they have announced the names of their first PPV. Augest is "Revolution".
News indeed.

At the last moment, due to quite a bit of convincing from Eric Bischoff, Robert Drulia has come to terms on contracts with two former World Heavyweight Champions.
Hulk Hogan - Signed to a four month contract, is scheduled to work a little with the World Title, then putting over a young star, apparently to be one of their bigger Faces over.
Goldberg - Also signed to a three month deal expected to be in the world scene for the first month or so, Bill Goldberg's main purpose probably to put over Ekmo (Umaga) as an unstoppable force.
Yep.
