After the huge success of 7th anniversary of TNA "Slammiversary 7" Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett arranged a meeting with the shareholders and booking team of TNA to discuss the future of TNA. Brought up in the meeting was the poor pay-per view quaility so far in the year minus Genesis and Slammiversary and the struggle to consistently to get over a 1.2 rating for iMPACT, they all agreed something needed to be done. After a long meeting it was agreed that 'JB' Jeremy Borash and Mike Tenay would immediately join the booking team to bring fresh ideas and new story lines. Mike Tenays' old role as commentary would be filled in the coming month. Let The bright future of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling begin.

Along with the appointment of Jeremy Borash and Mike Tenay to the creative team in TNA, it was also decided at the meeting that all pay-per views except Genesis, Lockdown, Slammiversary and Bound For Glory would all be held at the iMPACT zone in Florida to cut down on costs. It also been rumoured that Jeff Jarrett and Mick Foley are going to take a more back seat role in TNA and become unactive wrestlers for the time being to give the younger guys a chance at the top.
Recently rumours have been spread that TNA were planning on releasing some dead weight from the roster. Today we can comfirm that Jesse Neal, Shark Boy, Cody Deaner, Sojo Bolt and Rhaka Khan have all been released and that TNA wishes them the best in their future wrestling careers. Along with these releases TNA have been looking to bring some new faces in, one name being mentioned alot is the recently released WWE star, Umaga but its only a rumour at the time being.
The highly successful World X Cup from the previous year will not happen this year due to TNA struggling to find wrestlers from other countries to compete. TNA would like to apologize to the fans for this and TNA will be looking to make it up to them sometime later in the year.
Thats all the latest news from TNA and remember to watch iMPACT on Spike on Thursday.
-After Samoe Joe joined the Main Event Mafia at Slammiversary the whole wrestling world are wondering what drove Joe to make this shocking decision. We will open the shop with Joe and the rest of the Mafia.
-After several months out with a neck injury suffered at the hands of The British Invasion, Hernandez of LAX is set to return against Rob Terry of The British Invasion in a ladder match to try and win back his feast or fired case.
-In non-title action, Suicide will take on Amzing Red. If Red is able to pull off the victory against the champion it will surely put him up there for a title shot in the near future.
-After The British Invasion cost Team 3D their Tag Titles at Slammiversary we will hear from the former tag champions 3D on this episode of iMPACT.
-Plus former Knockouts Champion Tara will team up with Taylor Wilde against the members of The Beautiful People Angelina Love and Velvet Sky.
-Also in action will be Beer Money, Matt Morgan, Booker T, AJ Styles and Kurt Angle.
All this and more on Thursday huge episode of iMPACT.
PS Sorry for the slow post ive been busy recently I will definately have iMPACT up in 2 or 3 days.
Getting Jarret and Foley along with the unneeded dead weight out of the way is a good idea. I'm all for anything that would indicate that you're willing to elevate some of the more interesting guys that TNA has to offer.
