The titantron and video for judgment day finishes showcasing the matches for the night

(0:01:13)

The camera pans around the All State Arena as we are all gathered for the Judgment Day of 2009, it is set to be an action packed night as we can clearly see that Smack down have stolen the show by the look of the card. The camera goes through the crowd as some lucky few get to show their posters to the fans at home watching on pay-per-view. The camera takes an end towards the Smack down announcement Table as they will be hosting the first match.

Jim Ross: Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the Sunday Night pay-per-view brought to you by Terminator Salvation, it is set to be an action packed night with many matches, I am here with my two rival broadcast teams, for the Red Brand, we have Jerry “the King” Lawler and Michael Cole, for the Purple Brand we have Matt Striker and Josh Matthews. And my broadcast partner Todd Grisham

Todd Grisham: Thank you JR, tonight the blue brand will be hosting the first match between, CM Punk and Umaga. How this came to be is pretty simple. For weeks, Umaga has been costing Punk title opportunities and demolishing him, till the last week were CM Punk was ready for him and it ended in a brawl between the two.

Vince McMahon: Before this pay-per-view even begins, I would like to announce that World Wrestling Entertainment Creative team and Management has decided it’s time for a change. See with the recent ratings going down we needed something fresh new, so we have fired head of the Creative team, my daughter Stephanie McMahon, how would I fire my daughter, well simple, we need ratings, and ratings includes money. Actually the new head of the creative team is the new General Manager and owner of Florida Championship Wrestling and he will be making an impact. Now he has made some changes to what was originally supposed to happen and along with the general managers of all three brands we’ve found new fresh ideas to make WWE raise money.

All three brands have much talent, and some untapped, so I’ve come up with a few ideas to make that untapped talent become known. I’ve decide to bring back tow brands, known as Wednesday Night Heat and Saturday Night Velocity. Theodore Long and Vickie Guerrero have agreed to send some young and old talent over their so they can master their skills, actually most signed stars will head over their, the general managers aren’t set yet but they will both be wrestlers. The ECW brand will also supply each brand a couple of wrestlers, and finally many of you might be wondering what titles we will be having for those brands, well they will both be having and undisputed heavyweight and women’s title belt.

Now that is only part one of the money making deals that have been made, we’ve also decided that there are so many controversial feuds happening but we don’t have enough space on the card to hold them so we’ve decided that the Saturday before every pay-per-view we will be holding a Super show. The first Super show will be the famous Bad Blood.

More good news for you guys and more money for us, I have made a new rule for the World Wrestling Entertainment, officially every title needs to be defended ever thirty days meaning that on Monday night raw this week we will witness the Tag Team Titles, the Divas Title and the women’s title will all be defended. Against five opponents, each in gauntlet matches.

And last but not least I know all of you raw superstars backstage have been wondering what I would do about the situation we are in with Randy Orton. So me and Vickie have realized that Batista versus Randy Orton will not be enough to hold his two chumps, Ted DiBiase Junior and Cody Rhodes so I’ve decided to let them be and I have found three people that are willing to fight at the side of Batista, but I’ve heard you guys have found someone else to fight by the side of Orton to, now it’s even. But Randy, for a animal to be truly unleashed it needs to be caged. So we’ve decided to take the punt you did to me, triple it and we’ve got ourselves three cages, Randy I hope you realize what I am getting at, today, you will be facing Batista in a WCW original, Triple Cage Match. Oh, Randy, the only way you get to retain that title is if you climb up those three cages and grab the title.

Now so that we don’t have any more problems such as Randy Orton, from now on, every general manager now has a Co-General Manager. All three Co-General Managers are Wrestlers so for all you wrestlers who think you can disrespect the authority then think again, because, Randy, Edge, Legacy, Jack, and Jericho you now have an authority who is not scared to defend himself. Now is the right time to introduce the Raw Co-General Manager he is none other then the Hollywood Hulk Hogan.

Out comes Hulk Hogan with his hulk mania attire, he comes out doing his air guitar taunt as he goes to the front stage, but before he could even make it pass that “Glass Shattered” played through the physical attendance system and Stone Cold came out in his 3:16 attire and as soon as Hulk Hogan turned around he was met with a kick to the gut and a Stone Cold Stunner. The crowd erupted in cheers for the hall of famer as he immediately fell down on the ground near Hulk rapidly tilting his head and talking trash to Hulk Hogan. HE then got back up with the mike Hogan was holding before and began walking the long way down the ramp sliding in. He goes to the turnbuckle as he raises his hands in the sky showing the middle finger to the crowd and surprisingly it is not being censored. He then repeats it on all the turnbuckles till he stops and goes to the center of the ring.

Stone Cold Steve Austin: Vince don’t worry Good Ole’ Stone Cold knew what you we’re going to say see, Vince we know each other so much we can read each others mind, so Vince, I decided to read your mind and I saw all that anger that you had with Hulk Hogan rudely interrupting you thinking WWE really needs someone that understands OJ. Hulk Hogan I don’t know what he was thinking he can’t even survive a Stunner how does he expect to survive a punt to the head. So Good Ole’ Stone Cold decided to take care of the trash and I knocked him out to take my rightful place on the throne as the new Co-General Manager of Monday Night Raw. So Vince would you do the honors.

Vince McMahon: Alright Stone Cold, I won’t deny you what you want because I’ve been through too many stunners to have that happening. So Stone Cold Steve Austin, I hereby grant you the position of the Co-General Manager of Raw. But wait Stone Cold before you celebrate I would like to tell you that, we’ve taken another step to giving the younger talent a chance, see we’ve picked out a superstar for each co-General Manager, that superstar will be your trainee and you will be the trainer. So, I’ve hand picked your trainee, I’m sure you’ve seen videos of this guy on the computer. So without further ado he is, ZACK RYDER.

The crowd reply to the hell yeah, as Vince is seen in the titantron laughing and Steve just looks utterly disgusted. Ryder then hands his hand out to Stone Cold as he just gives a hand shake but changes it into a kick to the gut and a Stone Cold Stunner. Shattered Glass plays on the physical attendance system and Steve leaves in a very different mood then he was before.

Jim Ross: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to Judgment Day, we have just witnessed one of the biggest returns in wrestling history. For those who weren’t here before the commercial break, we were witnessing Vince McMahon making his on television return and making head lining announcements, involving both Monday Night Raw, and Friday Night Smack down. At the end we heard Vince claiming from his part that every brand will now have a co-general manager, and he was just about to reveal the one for Monday Night Raw. Hulk Hogan came back and was undoubtfully suppose to be the Co-general Manager but in the same instant Stone Cold came out and stuns the heck out of Hogan. Vince now made Stone Cold the Co-General Manager, and guesses what, his new trainee, is none other then you know it, Zack Ryder… no pun intended.

But ladies and gentle men, it is now time for the first match of the night hosted by the blue brand; we will take you to Justin Roberts, who will introduce it for us.

Justin Roberts: Ladies and Gentlemen, this first match is hosted by Friday Night Smackdown, it is a singles bout; the only ways to win are by pin fall, count out, submission or disqualification. First out, he is from Chicago, weighting in at two hundred and twenty two pounds, the straight edge superstar, C…M…Punk.

This fire burns by Killswitch plays throughout the physical attendance system as the crowd get up giving a standing ovation for the Chicago made punk, the ovation get’s louder and louder as they cheer for the hometown hero from Illinois. Punk comes out with the money in the bank case in hand, not doing anything special he walks down to the ring slapping hands with the crowd. He enters the ring and gives nod to Justin and the referee as he heads for the top turnbuckle he holds up his precious brief case and jumps off putting the brief case in the corner. He waits as his opponent is set to come out.

Umaga comes out in his plain attire to the sound of Tribal Trouble by Jim Johnston as it resonates through the physical attendance system. He comes out with a savage look. As he walks down he stops in front of the stage, the crowd boos at him loudly. He raises his hands in the sky as he screams loudly and walks down once more towards the ring, coming through the ring by the stairs and immediately scaring off the innocent Justin Roberts. The ref tries to hold back Punk as he is eager to get his hands on Umaga but must wait for the bell to ring.

The ref finally throws his hands in the sky to signal the beginning of the match up. As Punk moves as if the bell was a trigger and he was the bullet and immediately charged at Umaga with punches to the head, he lands numerous ones till Umaga is forced to fall back on the ropes.

Todd Grisham: The Chicago Made Punk has already begun the match-up getting revenge for all those lost title brief case cash in attempts.

Punk takes off his shirt as he throws it to the crowd and flexing his abdominal section as he goes to the opposite ropes where Umaga is set and rebounds of it as Umaga comes back from the ropes, expecting to take him down with the clothesline, Umaga stretches his arms out for a clothesline of his own and Punk lands right in it practically doing a back flip as he lands with impact and the crowd let out a “oooh”. Umaga goes to the ropes and stretches his arms wide screaming as the crowd let out boos at his taunt while Punk uses the ropes to get back up.

Jim Ross: Well Todd, I guess Umaga wasn’t going to let himself get dominated all match long, he must’ve interfered in those match-up for a legitimate reason.

Umaga waits for his target to get back up and as soon as he does grabs his hair and throws him to the turnbuckle. He then begins laying some rough punches to the ribs of Punk as Punk screams in pain. Umaga stops and then reaches to lift him up in a scoop slam position but instead hopes to lock him in a tree of woe position but Punk wiggles out of it from the back. He immediately takes action as Umaga slowly turns around he is charged at with a Cross body, or big splash if you prefer on the Turn Buckle. The Samoan bulldozer looks dazed as Punk goes to the opposite corner to take a breath. He then sets to finish it quickly and runs at full speed to Umaga using the ropes for aid he swiftly lands a hard knee shot to chin of the Bull Dozer.

Todd Grisham: Punk is back in control in his home state looking to win this match for his home.

As he get’s off Umaga still holding his neck firmly he begins running once more this time with Umaga expecting to get a one handed bull dog in but Umaga pushes Punk away. Just as soon as Punk turns around Umaga get’s in a upper cut to Punks neck as you can hear the impact through the crowd. Umaga then rubs his chin a bit from the pain inflicted seconds earlier.

Umaga is holding firmly to Punks nerve as Punk shows signs of distress slapping his shoulder to wake it up, Punk tries to get up but Umaga won’t let him. The crowd begin cheering for him to get back in the match-up as Punk get’s waken up by the cheers and grabs Umaga’s big arms and attempts to use his strength to hold it up. He get’s successful after a few seconds as Umaga is forced to pull away. Umaga get’s back and waits for Punk to get up to and just as soon Umaga charges at him but Punk drops holding down the ropes as Umaga goes to the outside. Punk get’s back up and goes to taunt the crowd as Umaga get’s back up, Punk runs straight to the ropes and jumps through the middle and upper one as he performs a suicide dive taking out Umaga.

The crowed cheer loudly once more at Punk. Punk doesn’t waste time getting back up and doesn’t let Umaga rest up to as he begins landing punches to the skull of the Samoan Bull Dozer. Umaga eventually get’s back up and stops Punks punches, and without letting Punk retaliate he viciously Irish whips him to the steel steps near the steel post.

Punk realizes that the count was broken and looks in the ring to find the referee unconscious and Umaga looking to get out, he quickly takes a steel chair secretly and as he walks to enter the ring,

Todd Grisham: What? Punk is grabbing a steel chair, that isn’t the usual Punk we see.

Umaga grabs his hair from the inside, not knowing he has chair he lifts Punk up to the apron but Punk quickly smacks Umaga head with steel chair as the sound came be heard from the nose bleed seats. Punk then drops the chair and slides in the ring, he immediately get’s Umaga back up and get’s him in a fire man carry,

The camera comes back from the commercial break, and before going back to on-camera it proceeds to showing a tribute of the match between the world’s largest athlete, and the chain gang leader.

Tonight is a big match, it is the ending of a long feud, it is the last match between two stars that have risen in title reigns during the last three and four years. The Ultimate Opportunist will be facing the World Heavyweight Champion tonight and we will find out who is the greatest wrestler right now…

Cena has Edge on the front stage, Cena has Edge in a Attitude Adjustment, is this the end of this long standing feud, will Cena reign as the World Heavyweight Champion, does Cena have what it takes to defeat this S.O.B once and for all.

Big Show is back from Backlash and I hope he isn’t proud of what he’s done today.

Big Show versus Batista, who will get the World Championship off of the Legend Killer, Randy Orton.

We Are in the middle of this match up, Batista and Show are both outside, and Big Show has just taken out Batista, now it’s down to one thing will Show continue the beat down on Batista or will he return to the ring in hope that Batista doesn’t regain his strength to return to the ring.

Miz is calling out John Cena once more, doesn’t he know Cena has better things to do then fight with him… Well Cena never backs down and he’s showing that tonight, battered and hammered, Cena is barely walking down to the ring. Face to face with… oh No! Show is here to get his revenge once more. What a beat down Cena is receiving just horrible.

Tonight The Miz will face the returning Cena in a exhibition match. Miz is totally dominating Cena, it’s just not fair. Cena is back in this match-up is he going to get the Attitude Adjustment in… no Vickie has just come on the monitor. The match has been stopped… wait Cena look behind, by gawd, the Miz is taking advantage of John Cena. Big Show is just diabolically laughing at this.

Now there’s no one in between, no Miz, no Vickie, it’s Cena versus Big Show tonight, there shall be Salvation

After the small tribute aired for an upcoming match tonight we are taken backstage where we witness the locker room of the legacy. Randy Orton is pacing back and forward as both Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase try to calm him down till Josh Matthews creeps into the room. He tries to get in a word as all three legacy members turn their attention to them intimidating them.

Randy Orton: What Do You want Matthews? Huh? Are you here to gloat like most of the other wrestlers in Raw? Well wait your turn.

Josh Matthews: Well, Randy, earlier today, we witnessed Vince McMahon, make his on air return since one week before Backlash, you weren’t his main concerns but he and Vickie decided something had to be done about your actions so he decided to change the stipulations of your match. Into a triple Cage match, can I get any thoughts on that?

Randy Orton: Josh, a triple cage match… really, do you think that is going to change the pre-destined outcome of this match-up… no it isn’t, Batista can have ten cages for all I care, he won’t even make it past the first one. Because Josh, I have made a legacy these past three months, and I vow to be the longest World Champion ever, my Legacy… the Legacy of young Rhodes and DiBiase are upon us, when we enter that Triple Cage match I’ll have a couple of outstanding second generations superstars. And as Vince said earlier, I do in fact have someone that is willing to have my back in that match up, I guarantee that once those superstars of your see my third man back-up they’ll be too scared to step in that cage.

Josh Matthews: Well, uh? Randy one last question before I leave you to prepare for the main event, my last question is, earlier today Vince also revealed a new Co-General Manager that is Stone Cold Steve Austin. He came out and said that he will be the new sheriff in town, now with one former WWE Champion and Vickie Guerrero in charge do you think it will have any effect on Monday Night Raw.

Randy Orton: Stone Cold, he is just as washed up as you can get, I am not and never will be scared of him, heck if I ever get my hands on him, he’ll kiss that knee of him goodbye, I’ll do it worse then I did Shane’s ankle.

Jim Ross: Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to Judgment Day, we come to you live here in the All-State Arena, in Illinois, we are only forty minutes into the show and we have seen some amazing matches so far starting with our opening match-up between the Straight Edge Superstar CM Punk and the Samoan Bull Dozer, Umaga. It was an amazing match-up and in the end Punk, well he won but not in the same fashion you’d expect. So now we come to you with another Friday Night Smackdown match-up between John Morrison and the very talented Shelton Benjamin.

Todd Grisham: This match came to place when John Morrison was in a match-up against the King of Smackdown Chris Jericho. It looked as if Jericho was about to take it away but Shelton Benjamin flashed a video on the titantron distracting Morrison and costing him the match-up. A series of match-ups followed up to this Morrison usually coming out on top, but now they step into the ring one on one for the first time.<O
