0:00-0:03-Raw's opening video plays. The post draft roster is recapped and it is explained that WWE is now one single entitity house out of RAW as the weekly show.
0:03-0:14-"I'm back, and I'm better than ever" blares across the PA. Fans are baffled to see Eric Bischoff make his way down to the ring with a brief case in his hand. What is Eric Bischoff doing in the WWE? The last time we saw Eric Bischoff he was the GM of Raw. Bischoff is notorious for being one of the most successful and long standing General Managers in WWE history. Bischoff grabs the microphone.
Bischoff: Welcome to the new WWE. First off, I'll cut straight to the point. The reason I'm standing here tonight with a 10 pound brief case in my hand is because Vince McMahon has appointed me as the new GM of the WWE. Vince McMahon understands that his greatest foe is also one of the greatest visionaries in wrestling history. I will use that vision in order to shape WWE into the most...... **Randy Orton's music hits. Orton makes his way to the ring catching some strong heat. Bischoff doesn't look like he is taking too kindly to being cut off. Orton enters the ring and grabs a mic of his own.**
Orton: Eric, I believe we may have met before but I have never formally introduced myself. The man who just interrupted you, is the Real World's Champion Randy Orton.
Bischoff: Real world's champion??? Orton: You heard me loud and clear. You see, it has come to my attention that during the draft any champions who were not drafted had their belts retired along with their sorry careers. It has also come to my attention that Edge along with his championship belt has ended up being drafted. I just wanted to clear the air so that the fans aren't confused. Edge can call his belt whatever he likes, but the real World Champion is me, the WWE Champion Randy Kenneth Orton.
**Ever so coincidentally Edge's music hits. The rated R Superstar Edge. Edge seems to have a cult following of fans, but still gets a mixed reaction. I believe most wrestling nerds and virgin PWTorch columnists would call that a tweener. Edge enters the ring and stares down face to face with Orton. The moment intensifies as Edge raises his World Heavyweight Championship in the air.** Edge: I couldn't help but watch on a monitor backstage and come to a few conclusions after you came out here and spouted this verbal diaherea. Your theme music claims you hear voices, well if the voices you hear in your head are telling you that you're the real World's Champion, they must be compulsive liars.
**Orton reacts negatively and gets in Edge's face as the fans intensify.**
Edge: I think it's obvious to the fans, and all the boys in the back that the title on my shoulder is THE belt to go for. Orton: You know what Edge, there is a very simply way for us to solve this. When I say something, I mean it. So how about later tonight, you and I go one on one and put both of our belts on the line. After I defeat you, you can walk backstage with your tail in between your legs and tell all the boys to line up to be defeated by the World Champion Randy Orton.
Edge: As a matter of fact I think that's a great idea. Only one problem, I don't want to wait for later tonight. I want to have the match RIGHT NOW.
**The fans errupt** Bischoff: Woah, woah, woah. You two just wasted about five minutes of Primetime Cable TV bickering back and fourth. Yes I humored you, but did you guys really think a man with my sort of experience wouldn't realize and counter the problem of having two World champions in one wrestling promotion?
Being the GM of this show, I call the shots. Not you two, not anybody in the back. Here is how this will go. In this brief case I have the new WWE Undisputed World Championship belt. At Judgment Day in three weeks we will determine just who gets to wear that belt for the time being. Here's how we will do it. We're going to have ourselves an 8 man tournament. Because both you two are already champions and have already proven yourself you get byes the the Semi Finals at Judgment day.
There will be two separate brackets in the tournament. Each bracket will feature four men. One bracket for the WWE Championship, the other bracket for the World Heavyweight Championship. The winner of each bracket will go on to face the respective champions for each belt at Judgment Day. At the end of the night, whoever are the WWE and World Champions will face off one on one in order to crown the Undisputed Worlds Champion. **Bischoff drops the mic and leaves the ring. Orton and Edge have an intense staredown as we head to a commercial break.** 0:14-0:18-Commercial Break, go take a shit....just be back in time for the next match.

0:18-0:35: WWE Championship Bracket Round 1 Match 1
Jeff Hardy VS Shawn Michaels
Beginning: Both men are over huge a faces. The crowd is split with rivalling "Let's Go Jeff" and "Let's go Shawn" chants. The match goes back and fourth very even. Middle: After having Hardy's high flying offense take him down one too many times HBK begins to work on Hardy's knee. Isolating Hardy's knee cuts off most of his aerial attacks.
Hardy is able to clothesline HBK out of the ring to the outside. Hardy hits a running splash to the floor. Although he gets HBK, his knee that HBK was working on also hits hard on the unforgiving floor. We go to a commercial break as HBK is down and Jeff clenches his knee. 0:26-0:30: Commercial Break, get some pretzels fatty Finish: HBK continues to isolate Hardy's knee. Although the splash before the commercial break did hit HBK it did a lot more damage to Hardy's knee. It was not a good risk. HBK gets Hardy into the figure four. It very well looks like Hardy is going to tap out at any moment. Hardy ends up making it to the ropes and rallying back.
By now the crowd is still split, but Jeff Hardy's fans are clearly more vocal. They are hoping for Hardy to rally back for a late comeback.
Hardy does exactly that. He rallies back with an uncharacteristic brawling technique. There is no way he can use high flying with his knee so badly bruised.
HBK once again gains momentum. He nails Hardy with a backdrop and goes to the top rope. HBK cues for the elbow.
Hardy rolls away at the last second. Hardy sees an opening for the Swantan. The question is can he do it with his bad knee.
Hardy climbs the top. He takes extra time climbing the turnbuckle as a result of his knee. This gives HBK a chance to push down on the connecting ropes, this sends Hardy slowly tumbling forward off the top rope to the floor.
As Hardy tumbles forward HBK hits a brutal Sweet Chin Music from a weird angle to Hardy's jaw.
HBK goes for the pin and gets the three count! HERE IS YOUR WINNER, HBK! |
0:35-0:38-Backstage Primo and Carlito cut a short promo claiming that they are fighting champions. They say that they know they are the best Tag Team in the world and they want a chance to prove it to the fans at Judgment Day. They announce that next week live on RAW they have arranged with Eric Bischoff for there to be an invitational Tag Team Elimination match with the winners getting a shot at the Tag Team Championships at Judgment Day.....now that's cool!
0:38-0:41-Commercial Break....run out of pretzels yet? Quote:
 0:41-0:51-WWE Championship Bracket Round 1 Match 2
Triple H VS Shelton Benjamin Beginning:
Triple H is clearly the fan favorite. It's safe to say that the fans don't agree that Shelton is the Gold Standard. Shelton dominates early out wrestling Triple H. Shelton has both amateur wrestling experience and speed over Triple H's strength and veteran abilities.
Middle:
Triple H begins coming back. The fight is taken to the outside where Triple H launches Benjamin into the steps. Triple H takes the top off of the announcers table. He attempts a Pedigree onto the table but is countered. The fans don't like that....Benjamin retreats back into the ring. Finish:
Benjamin begins gaining steam. Benjamin floors Triple H with a super kick. Benjamin gets on the apron and attempts a giant leaping splash. HHH catches Benjamin with his patented knee to the face. The momentum sends Benjamin fall all the way back into the ropes where he ricochets back into HHH's kick and a Pedigree.
HHH pins Shelton clean for a three to advance to the next round.
Looks like we're going to see Triple H taking on HBK next week. The winner of that match will take on Randy Orton at Judgment Day. I for one cannot wait for this epic conclusion!

0:51-0:55-Commercials.....Go buy some ShamWOW....as seen on TV. 0:55-0:57-Benjamin is walking backstage with his head down. Clearly frustrated that he lost what was the biggest match of his career up to this point. He runs into his old partner Charlie Haas.
Haas: Shelton, I just saw your match out there...
Shelton: Listen Charlie, I don't have time to be berated by you for my loss. Get out of my way.
Haas: No, no, no. I'm not here to do that. I just have a proposition for you. You see, it's no secret that both of our careers have been in a stalemate as solo stars. Hell, I'm tired of having to dress up as other wrestlers just to get noticed by these fans.
Shelton: That's your problem, not mine.
Haas: No, that's where your wrong. It's both of our problems and I've got an easy solution. All we've gotta do is go back to the glory days.....reform The World's Greatest Tag Team. Then we go next week, win the Tag Team invitational match and go onto Judgment Day where we can show these good for nothing fans what real wrestling is. Hell, we don't just show them, we force it down their throat.
**Shelton looks a bit skeptical at first. He slowly pauses, then he shakes hands with Haas.** Shelton: Haas, you've got my word. As you and these losers in the crowd know, my word is golden.
**The segment fades away with both men smirking.** 0:57-1:01-Chris Jericho is backstage with correspondent Matt Striker.
Matt: Chris, I've gotta ask you. What do you think the odds are that you can beat John Cena tonight? If history shows us anything, the fans should bet against as Cena has defeated you in every one on one encounter you two have had.
Jericho: Odds? Betting? This isn't Vegas, this is WWE Raw, and this is the first ever Undisputed Champion you are talking to. Let me tell you something about John Cena. These idiot fans may cheer him, but that doesn't mean he is the best. I am the best in the world at what I do, and unlike Cena who has become complacent as a result of beating me, I am hungry. I will do anything it takes, and I will walk out tonight with my hand in the air. More importantly, at Judgment Day I will win both championships and keep my rightful place in history as the only man to become Undisputed Champion and win both World belts on the same night.
Matt: Those are strong words, let's go back to ringside for our next match.
Quote:
1:01-1:12-World Heavyweight Championship Bracket Match 1
Ken Kennedy VS Big Show Beginning: Big Show dominates Kennedy early on. The fans are behind Kennedy but even they must know that there is no way that Kennedy could go strength for strength with the Big Show and come out on top. Middle: Kennedy lures the Big Show to the outside. They fight up the ramp. The ref begins counting for the countout. A double count out here would do neither men any favors, although it would help the winner of Jericho VS Cena later tonight as they would get a bye through the next round as a result. Finish: We're at about 5 on the outside count. Big Show and Kennedy are now up by the stage. Big Show gets those huge hands around Kennedy's neck and attempts to choke slam him off the stage. Kennedy gets a kick into Big Show's stomach causing show to relinquish the choke. Kennedy hears that the referee is now close to the 9 count. He looks at Big Show and sprints towards the ring. Show is chasing after him but being 500 lbs is obviously not your ideal track star.
Kennedy makes it into the ring just before the ref gets to 10. Big Show is not so lucky.
Kennedy retreats up the ramp as he celebrates. The Big Show turns around and begins attacking the referee in a fit of anger. It takes about 20 officials to tear show off of the referee. Medical attention is called for.

1:12-1:14-Triple H is in his personal locker room untaping himself. HBK walks in and the crowd roars. Triple H stands up straight and stares down with HBK. HBK offers his hand and Triple H shakes it, they both smile and go in for a hug. HBK tells Triple H that despite being friends he doesn't want nor does he expect Triple H to hold back next week. He says for one night and one night only he wants him and Triple H to look at each other the same way they did back in 2003 when they hated each other. He wants to get the ruthless cerebral assassin, he wants to get the best of Triple H. He says the reason he wants Triple H that way is so that when he beats Triple H and goes onto win the Undisputed Championship at Judgment Day, the fans will know that he truly deserved it.
Triple H says HBK is mostly right about Triple H being ruthless and cerebral. He says where HBK is wrong is in thinking that he will beat him next week. Triple H says he is going to do everything in his power to come out on top because he is just that damn good. HHH and HBK staredown as we go into a commercial.
1:14-1:15-Big Show arrives backstage. Bischoff confronts Big Show with a fleet of security at his back. He says that as a result of Big Show's actions he is suspended indefinitely without pay.
1:15-1:18-Commercial.....getting tired of these comments yet? 1:18-1:28-Kane's music hits. Kane comes out to an ovation by the crowd. He is easily a fan favorite here. Kane cuts a promo scolding Bischoff for not putting him in the World Championship tournament.
**I'mmmm priceeeelesssss. Ted Dibiase's music hits. This young man has quite the cahonas to interrupt the Big Red Machine. Dibiase makes his way down to the ring and grabs a microphone.** Dibiase: Hey buddy, Im sorry to say but we're running low on TV time here. Jericho and Cena's match is on the schedule in the back to start in 10 minutes, and I've got a much more important announcement than you do. I'm sure your bitching can wait for another day. Hell, get a MySpace, you could blog on there.
Kane: I don't think you know who you're talking to. I'm in a very bad mood and I'm about to give you three seconds to get out of this ring before I show you an area of hell that you thought could only be shown in fictional movies and religious horror stories.
Dibiase: Am I suppose to be afraid? You touch me, and Randy Orton comes down here with the new member of Priceless that I am about to induct and we beat your ass three on one. We're the strongest force in this company, and the last thing we're afraid of is a wrestler who went around for years wearing a mask, wig, and full body suit because he was determined to attention whore about having fake scars.
Kane: .....The scars were real.....very.....very real.
Dibiase: Hahahahahahahah, listen "Glen", this little act isn't fooling anybody. You're not deranged, you were never scarred. You're just an attention whore who needs to be put in his place. If you don't leave the ring right now, you will be put in your place by the most powerful faction in wrestling today.
**Kane is very frustrated and is clenching his head** Kane: Take it back.......take back what you said about the scares.....
Dibiase: What? That they weren't real and that you're a giant attention whore who these idiot fans were dumb enough to be fooled by for years?
Kane: I.....I.....I swear......take it back.....for your own good.....take it back.....
Dibiase: Listen.....your scars were fake....get over it.
**Kane begins showing signs of frustration. He locks eyes with Dibiase and leaves the ring with his head down. As he goes up the ramp he is pounding the side of his head in frustration.** Dibiase: That's right....walk away....Big Red Machine? More like Big Red B*tch.
Anyways, now that that is over with I don't have much time. I really had something elaborate planned here....an orchestra....a parade....a ton of pyro. Hell, I can afford it. Instead I'll just do it the simple way. Without further ado, the newest member of Legacy.....
**Some unrecognizable music hits....out comes WWE Prospect DH Smith.**
DH Smith shakes hands with Ted Dibiase in the ring as we go to a commercial. Having the son of the British Bulldog in Legacy might just be what they need to push them over the edge.
1:28-1:32-Commercial....John Cena has a new movie, it's got explosions. It also ripped off half the script from Rambo so you know it has gotta be decent. Quote:
1:32-2:00-World Heavyweight Championship Bracket Match 2
John Cena VS Chris Jericho Beginning: This has a big match feel to it, especially for something on free TV. John Cena and Jericho are both introduced, and it should come as no surprise that the fans are 100 percent behind John Cena. Early on in the match Jericho dominates and shows a viciousness that we haven't seen from him lately.
Jericho targets the back of Cena's neck. Last SummerSlam Cena suffered a neck injury which put him on the shelf for months. Ironically, when he returned he defeated Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship in his first match back. The very belt they are fighting tonight to become contenders for.
After dominating the first 10 or so minutes Cena knocks Jericho out with a huge flying shoulder block. Both men are down as we go to a commercial break. 1:40-1:44-Commercial Break.....no more comments....I swear. Middle: Jericho is still dominating. Cena begins to rally back. Cena hits a succession of moves. Jericho goes to the top rope. He goes for a splash but Cena catches him on his shoulders! Cena hits the attitude adjuster.
Cena quickly covers...GOOD GOD JERICHO KICKS OUT AT 2.9999999998.....
As both men reach their feet Jericho hits a Codebreaker out of nowhere. Jericho goes for the LionSault. Cena moves out of the way. Jericho crashes to the mat. Both men are down a we go to the final commercial break. 150-1:54-Final Commercial Break. End: Both men are now barely able to stand. They trade slow punches, each one more devestating than the next. Cena counters Jericho's punch into a fireman's carry, which leads to Jericho being in the FU position....oh wait isn't it called the attitude adjuster....damn kids....back on topic.
When Jericho struggles his boot connects with the referees head, knocking the referee out. Where do they get these refs, they are fragile as hell.
Cena hits the Attitude Adjuster and covers Jericho. The fans count along for the three but there is no ref. Cena gets off Jericho and turns around into a huge chair shot.....from Shad!
What the hell is Shad doing here? I thought Shad and Cena were friends. Didn't they partner up last year against JBL?
Jericho is equally as shocked as the fans. Jericho isn't one to be picky. He rolls over Cena and goes for the cover. The referee wakes up in dramatic fashion and counts slowly.
1.....
2.....
3.....
Good god, why'd such a hard fought match by both men have to be tarnished by Shad trying to further some sort of agenda.
Shad stands up on the ramp staring back at the ring. Cena slowly pulls himself up on the ropes and stares in anger at Shad. Shad points at the chair laughing. The fans are visibly displeased. Hopefully we'll get some answers next week on RAW!
