Re: World Wrestling Entertainment 2k9 (Anything Can And Will Happen)

WWE 2K9 RAW, The Road To The Great American Bash: Episode 1 of 6

0:00-0:03-
Judgment Day is recapped where Jericho won the tournament cleanly to become the second ever man to unite two world championships and claim the throne as the Undisputed Champion. We are informed that in the Main Event tonight Jericho is having an appreciation ceremony where he will be presented his Undisputed Championship. Also the Colons have requested to use their rematch clause against the World's Greatest Tag Team tonight live on Raw! Not only that, but one wrestler in the back who is disgusted with Shad's attack on Cena at Judgment Day has made a special challenge for Shad to face him one on one later tonight.....keep watching in order to find out who.

0:03-0:11-
Orton is in the ring with a microphone.

Orton: Last night.....dammit.....last night was suppose to be my night....it was suppose to be my.....my legacy. Ironically enough, it was ruined. Not at any fault of my own, at the fault of my group who couldn't handle their own issues.

You see, every big time match I've ever been in. Any World title defense, I always came in with a clear mind, a vision, a clear goal. Last night......last night was different. You see, Ted Dibiase who is part of Legacy had the audacity to interrupt Kane three weeks ago and ridicule him for a very, VERY personal situation. He unleashed a side of Kane that nobody has seen in years.....a side of Kane that I had to be very concerned about going into last Sunday. You see, when Ted riled up Kane, Kane wasn't just going after Ted, he was going after all of Legacy.

Obviously I was right to be concerned considering in Kane's match with Ted Dibiase Kane attempted to burn Ted alive....but failed....and burnt himself in the process. Now I'm hearing these updates that Kane escaped from the hospital, that nobody knows where Kane is.....Ted.....this is bad, and this is your fault. I'm calling you out here right now, hell DH and Jamal you come to because as far as I'm concerned you both failed me.

**It sounds like Orton is frustrated and blaming Legacy for his loss to HBK.....they aren't sgoing to take this are they......**

Legacy makes their way to the ring without any ring music in this very serious segment....the fans are mute and tired of Orton's rant. Ted Dibiase gets into the ring with Jamal and Smith behind him. Ted Dibiase goes head to head with Orton, Orton slaps him across the face!

Orton: Ted.....every time you ever are about to screw up I want you to remember that slap. Remember how it feels to be made out to be a b*tch in front of 15,000 people and millions watching at home. Remember how it feels, and know that you will never......ever fail me again. I want you to tell Smith how it felt.....

Ted: Orton, calm down....you're acting ridiculous. Let's be serious for a second.

**Orton grabs Dibiase's jaw hard with his left hand, and goes in face to face practically breather down his neck.**

Orton:
.....TELL HIM!

Ted:
....DH....It felt....humiliating to cost Randy his belt by having Kane distract him......and.....and I felt ashamed having him put me in my place tonight.....

Orton: That's right, you felt ashamed. That's the key word because we're Legacy, and when you shame yourself you are shaming the Legacy of your father, of my father, of DH's father, and of Jamal's father. As of now, you all make me sick. DH failed to capture the IC Belt, Dibiase you cost me my belt with your actions towards Kane, and hell Jamal you just haven't stepped up and done anything! As of tonight, there is a new era in Legacy. We are going to end Mysterio, I am going to TAKE Jericho's undisputed belt, and you are going to find a way, I don't care how, a way to end this with Kane....

**Some strange music hits.....**

Good god....it's.....I don't believe it....Jamie Noble?

The fans are indifferent. This is Jamie Nobles debut here in WWE 2K9. Despite being drafted he hasn't shown his face on TV what so ever.....I think he picked a bad time to do so.

Noble: Kane? Let me get this right Orton. You've got world class underused competition in the back like myself, and you're worried about Kane? Let me tell you something, I was sitting in the back watching on the monitor and I couldn't help over hearing you say that your so called mission was to take the IC belt off of Mysterio, well it just so happens although I respect Mysterio very much.......I've got the same goal. So Orton, I'm coming out here to challenge you to a match. See, I figure if you guys are going to one by one keep losing to Mysterio, I better just challenge the biggest dog in the yard to prove that I'm worthy of being next in line for a shot.

Orton: ....Let me get this straight......YOU.....want to challenge......ME?

Noble: You've got that right!

Orton: Sorry buddy, this isn't OVW.....my answer is NO!

Noble: In that case Orton.....you won't fight me in a match, I'll bring the fight to you!

**This kid has more guts than brains!**

Noble runs into the ring and attacks Orton. He gets a few good punches in but inevitably gets four on one'd.......out of nowhere the Kung Fu Cowboys jump the barricade and attempt to help Noble but they three are still outnumbered and getting beat down....

BOOOOYAAAAAK BOOOOYAAAAKAAA SIX ONE NNNINE!!!!!

The fans go apeshit, it's Rey Mysterio!

Mysterio runs down to the ring and joins the attack. We've got a 4 on 4 brawl. Mysterios arrival adds a small surge of competance but Legacy regains composure and continues beating the four men down......what the hell is this......the lights just went out................

Is that Kane's music?.......

Legacy stare at the ramp and anticipating Kane....nobody comes out. This distraction gives the other four men enough time to all hit simultaneous dropkicks to Legacy from behind. It knocks Dibiase, Smith, and Jamal out of the ring. Orton still in the ring gets four on one'd. After about a minute Jamal is able to finally pull Orton out. Orton is banged up and furious. Legacy retreats as we head to a commercial break.

0:11-0:14-Commercial Break

0:14-0:16-
Mysterio comes into Bischoff's office with the Kung Fu Cowboys behind him. He asks Bischoff specifically for a match against Dibiase, Jamal, and Smith later tonight. Bischoff agrees that as a result of what just happened that it'd only be right to allow everybody involved a chance to settle their differences in the ring tonight. Just as Mysterio is leaving Bischoff adds that he thought Mysterio was done with Legacy last night when he successfully defended his belt against Smith but since Mysterio seems to want to continue this little affair by getting involved with their business it is only fair that Bischoff grants Legacy a champ at redemption. At The Great American Bash Legacy will have a chance to take Mysterio's IC belt once again, any member of Legacy aside from Smith since Smith already got his shot can face Mysterio for the belt. It is up to Legacy which one member is going to face Mysterio. The scene fades out with our first match for the Bash in six weeks signed.
__________________________________________________ _____________
0:16-0:18-Orton is furious backstage. He is throwing chairs, punching walls, and red in the face. Legacy tries to calm him down. Orton grabs Dibiase by the throat and tells Dibiase that he is tired of Kane getting involved in their business and that next week he wants Dibiase to call out Kane live on Raw and end this once and for all.....

Good god.....does this mean Kane is going to be here next week....after being burned? That is going to be gruesome!

0:18-0:35-It is revealed that the person who called out Shad was none other then Jeff Hardy. It is also announced that Cena will be out, and his career is possibly over as a result of Shad's actions. There are no competition waivers, no chance of competing, Cena is gone.....live with it. Kids must hate Shad now. Jeff Hardy defeats Shad via DQ after a match that almost emulated Shad's match with John Cena last show at Judgment Day. Shad couldn't put away Hardy and was at a stale mate so instead of continuing the match decided to attack Hardy with a chair. Luckily unlike Cena, Hardy was able to escape before any real damage was done.

0:39-0:42-A pretaped video tape airs that The Apostles Of Revolution apparently sent in and ordered to be played on Raw.

**Calming music is playing in the background as we fade into the Miz and Brian Kendrick standing side by side. Mike Knox is behind them with his arms crossed.**

Kendrick: Hi, I'm THE Brian Kendrick.

Miz: I'm the Miz, Mike Mizanin, and that's Mike Knox. He doesn't say much but he's got a wicked beard. We're The Apostles Of Revolution and we're here to take a moment of your time to spread a message that just might SAVE YOU.

Kendrick: You see, just a few weeks ago my Tag Team partner The Miz and I were lost and frustrated. We couldn't win a match to save our lives. But then, our savor. A kind gentle man, a man who was willing to take us under his wing and teach us ALL that he knows saved us and our careers.

Miz: All that he asked in return is that we preach his message, so that one day you guys can be saved just like us. Ask yourselves? Where are you right now? Where are you going? Do you really want to be a directionless social lobotomy for the rest of your days? This goes out to any of the boys in the back, or any of the fans at home. If you no longer want to be a parasite leaching off of the air that us pure citizens deserve to breathe, reach out to us. There will always be a hand willing to pull you away from your life of misery. We will help you learn the message of Jericho, and it will change your life for the better......

**This message was paid for by the Apostles Of Revolution in conjunction with the Church Of Jericho**

What the hell? Does Jericho think he is some sort of suedo savour now? What the hell is he poisoning these kids minds with?

0:45-1:00-Mysterio and The Kung Fu Cowboys defeat Legacy (Smith, Jamal, and Dibiase)
Beginning: Jamal dominates the match early for Legacy taking out both the Kung Fu Cowboys. Legacy cycles through tags isolating Funaki until a hot tag to Mysterio is made. Mysterio gets in the ring and takes over evening the odds as we head to a mid match commercial.

0:50-0:54-Commercial

Finish: The match finishes with both the Cowboys and Smith and Dibiase battling on the outside. Mysterio gets the best of Jamal and hits a 619 followed by a West Coast Pop for the win.

1:00-1:03-Noble is backstage with Striker. After being asked what he thinks about Orton laughing off his challenge Noble cuts a passionate interview about how he has had all the tools to succeed in the Main Event but has always been overlooked as a wrestler because he is supposedely not marketable due to how small he is. Noble says for that reason he looks up to Rey Mysterio and is hoping to one day be number one contender for the IC belt so that he can have the honor of taking the belt off of Rey. Noble says in the mean time, he will give Orton living proof that he is no joke and that it would be in Orton's best interests to give him a one on one match later on.....say at the Great American Bash.

__________________________________________________ _____________
1:03-1:13-HBK makes his way to the ring to a huge pop. The man has gotta be exhausted due to his string of high profile Show Stopping matches. He grabs the microphone and begins to speak.

HBK:
Last night, Chris Jericho walked out of Judgment Day as the Undisputed Champion....

**Fans boo**

HBK:....and it is....my fault! See, I've been up all night. I haven't slept not one minute. The reason being, as a true Christian I cannot live with the fact that as a result of my doing the face of the WWE is a sacrilige and a sinner. I cannot live with the fact that Chris Jericho is now on top of the world and is using the pull he has as Undisputed Champion to lure in these desperate young wrestlers into his grip, one of them being my former student Brian Kendrick.

That is why I'm out here to not just ask Bischoff.....to plead with Bischoff to give me another shot. Give me a shot to write my wrongs, give me a shot to defeat Jericho and take the Undisputed Belt so that the WWE can be represented by somebody who is righteous and believes in doing right when right can be done. I will win any match you put me in to earn the championship.....just give me that shot......

**Edge's music hits to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Edge gets in the ring and gets on the microphone.**

Edge: Are you serious? Are you really serious? You're gonna pull the religion card just to get yourself a shot at the Undisputed Championship? The way I see it HBK is you're a man on the Edge. Hell, in the last four weeks alone you've had to face Jeff Hardy, Triple H in a 40 minute match, Randy Orton, and Chris Jericho......you are in absolutely no shape to headline a PPV. What happens if you get injured leading up to the show? The whole show would be in jeopardy. If your hope is that Chris Jericho will lose his championship, then I will follow that mission for you. All I ask is that you respectfully step aside as a challenging and let me face Jericho.....

HBK:....No!

Edge: Well, if you won't step aside.....I'm going to have to....

**I hear voices hits. Damn, Randy Orton is really hogging the spotlight tonight. This dude loves TV time.**

Orton hits the ring and grabs a microphone.

Orton: I shouldn't even be out here right now. Do you think a superstar of my massive success has time to dignify the ramblings of two incoherent nimrods? I'll put it plain and simple so that Bischoff can read the writing on the wall. I am the only one who hasn't been pinned by Chris Jericho out of us three, I am owed a rematch clause for my championship I lost and at the moment the only equivalent belt is the Undisputed Championship. Case closed, Orton VS Jericho will headline The Great American Bash.

**Bischoff's music interrupts Orton.**

Bischoff: Woah, woah, woah. Orton, I think you're forgetting who the GM is around here. It certainly isn't you. With that said, Orton brings up a great point, he does have his rematch clause......but so do Edge and HBK as they both also lost belts at Judgment Day.

With that said, tonight we are going to have a Three Way Dance elimination match. The last man standing out of you three will face Jericho at The Great American Bash.....not only that....but considering I'm all about giving the fans something fresh and innovative and they have pretty much seen all of you in action against Jericho over the last few weeks. In order to freshen things up the winner of the Three Way Elimination will get to CHOOSE a special stipulation for their match at GAB against Jericho.

**Did you hear that? What a blockbuster Main Event we've got tonight......Orton VS HBK VS Edge....even bigger, the winner will get to CHOOSE the stipulation for their match with Jericho at the Great American Bash.**

1:17-1:18-A promo which was taped earlier tonight is aired. The Colons promise that last night was just a blunder and that they will defeat WGTT tonight and the fans will truly no that the name WGTT is nothing more than a shallow gimmick.....now that's cool!

Tag Team Championship Match
1:18-1:26-The Colons defeat the WGTT via Count Out. World's Greatest Tag Team decide to walk out mid match resulting in a count out. They are still champions, but this isn't very fair.
1:26-1:29-Commercials

__________________________________________________ _____________
1:29-1:30-The Colons burst into Bischoff's office and are furious that their rematch clause was ruined by WGTT deliberately counting themselves out. They say that they want Bischoff to give them another Tag Team Championship match next week. Bischoff says he'll do them one better. They'll get the World's Greatest Tag Team in a match with a special No Countout Clause.....is that cool?

1:30-1:50-HBK VS Edge VS Orton (Elimination Match with the winner facing Jericho at the Great American Bash and also choosing the stipulation for that match.)
There are no eliminations until the VERY end of the match. There is a commercial break at 1:40-1:43.

The match ends with Orton hitting an RKO on HBK. He stalks HBK and hits a second RKO! Orton about to pin gets ambushed....BY JAMIE NOBLE! Jamie Noble hits Orton in the back with a chair. He follows it with about 8 more chair shots Rock/Austin WMX7 style. Edge rolls into the ring and gives Noble a strange look. Noble tosses Edge the chair and rolls out of the ring asap. Edge tosses the chair away and covers Orton for the three. HBK makes his way to his feet ever so slowly and looks defeated already. Edge delivers a spear and covers him for a three as well.

Here is your winnnnnner! Edge!

Looks like Edge is going onto Great American Bash to face Jericho! Much thanks to Noble. You've gotta question what match Edge is going to choose.

1:54-2:08 (Overrun)-It is announced that Jericho's appreciation ceremony will commence. Jericho enters in a suit to some unreal heat. He is followed by Kendrick, The Miz, and Mike Knox who worship the ground that he walks on. Jericho gets in the ring and there is a podium set up along with red carpet. Jericho steps onto the podium and beings speaking. As soon as he steps up there he is greeted with boos.

Jericho: Don't you dare boo me, I am a champion.

The boos get louder.

Jericho:
Not only that, I am THE champion.....the Undisputed Champion of the entire world. That means one thing, and one thing only, that I am the best in the world at what I do and you cretins best respect that.

These three men you see before me today, they have humbled themselves and chosen to be saved. As a result I am and will continue to show them the way so that maybe one day they can achieve my success.

In exchange for my teachings, these three men will help me even the playing field. Now that I am the Undisputed Champion I will have other wrestlers gunning through my head from left to right. Lost souls like Triple H....

**Fans Cheer**

Jericho: HBK.....

**Fans Cheer**

Jericho: Randy Orton.....

**Fans boo....slight RKO Chants**

Jericho:
My opponent for Great American Bash, Edge....

**Fans Cheer**

Jericho: With that said, I want you all to bear witness to my accolades. Referee, get the belt.

**The Apostles bow down to Jericho as the referee straps the belt around Jericho's waist. The fans are showering Jericho with MASSIVE heat.**

Jericho: I want you fans to take a mental image of what stands before you. The Undisputed Champion Chris Jericho with the Apostles Of Revolution standing his back. None of those monkeys in the back can hold a candle to me, I defy anybody to prove me otherwise....

**Time To Play The Game Hits!**

Business is just picking up! HHH comes out in his jean jacket/leather jacket combo with a microphone.

HHH: Jericho, I look in the ring and I see a giant clock above your head. Cause it's just a matter of time until I get my shot, and I take your title. Until then, I'm going to make you and your little fruity followers lives a living hell. Edge is a formidable number one contender, but let's be reasonable, I am the game and you are god damn lucky that Eric Bischoff didn't have the sense to include me in the number one contenders match tonight.

Jericho: Shut your mouth Hunter. You come out here all high and mighty insulting me in my time of glory. Hell, looks like the nepotism has run short around here. Are you angry that you can no longer hold me down? That after all the years of us battling I'm the one who finally stands tall, most of all, I'm champion.....you're not.

HHH: Nepotism? Let's get one thing straight, you don't become an 11 time World Champion just because of who you're screwing. You get to that level because you're that damn good....well and Jericho.....I guess maybe I should prove it to you since you seem to have forgotten that.

**What the hell is HHH talking about?**

HHH throws down his jacket and runs into the ring. This is a suicide mission it's 4 on 1. HHH exchanges punches with Jericho but inevitably The Apostles join in and get the best of him. After beating down HHH for a few seconds the arena goes dark....."You Think You Know Me"

Edge's music blasts and he runs down to the ring with a chair in hand. Edge nails the Apostles with a chair. Knox helps get Jericho out of the ring before he can get hit. Knox turns around into a chair shot. The Apostles all retreat as Edge and HHH stand tall in the ring.
Edge and HHH stare down with Jericho who is retreating up the ramp, they exchange words as we go off of the air.

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment 2k9 (Anything Can And Will Happen)

Oh man I can't wait for Edge & Hunter vs the Apostles. I'm really liking all these alliances being formed, though I do think it was a bit too much Orton. Orton coming out for the segment that led to the Triple Threat kind of seemed to undermine Noble's words, as he didn't bring them up at all. Though maybe that's what you were going for, as Noble still can't get the respect that he truly deserves in my mind. Still, I think it was a bit of a weird change of pace when Orton's been going berserk all show for him to come out considerably calmer to make his case for the Number One Contendership. Anyway, it was a really nice show, but I didn't care for the format & the graphics all that much, but that's kinda nitpicking. As long as the essentials are good (and they are), no need to worry about that. A little color just to spurce things up a bit would be nice though.

I'm really hoping Jericho is an honorable heel champion as sort of hinted at the beginning of the show. Not only would it fit his character pefectly, but it would be nice to see that instead of the typical "HEEL CHAMPION goes to outside, grabs belt, hits FACE CHALLENGER with belt while ref is distracted, picks up win". That's something I'm really looking forward to as Jericho can still be the heel of the company while winning matches cleanly for the most part. GG.

All my shows sans Judgment Day which wasn't written in full have graphics. I just didn't have the time to do them for this show and wanted to get something up asap as it has been a while.

As for Orton you've got a point, but his rage at the start of the show was more a dictation of the relationship of power between himself and Legacy. I don't really get what you're trying to say about Orton undermining Noble's words. Maybe it didn't come off properly, but off the top of my head Noble's goal is to face Rey for the IC Belt. Noble realizes that Legacy has created a mission to take the IC Belt off of Rey. Because it would be impractical to face all of them Noble says he wants to prove that he is worthy of getting a shot at the IC belt by facing the top dog of Legacy (Orton.) Assuming Noble beats Orton who is the best wrestler in Legacy, that would cement Noble as being better than Legacy.

It wouldn't be logical for Orton to accept or even take Noble's challenge seriously considering Noble has been a lower midcarder in the real WWE before my BTB and Orton is a Main Eventer. Orton has nothing to gain, Noble has everything to gain. This is why Orton at first laughed off Noble's challenge.

Noble cuts a promo later on simply stating if Orton won't take him seriously he'll give him a reason to. Noble costing Orton the Three Way Dance was imperative as now it gives Orton a motivation to face Noble, to get revenge. The match hasn't been signed in the storylines but it's pretty obvious that Noble/Orton is going to happen as a result of what happened on RAW, the loose ends will be tied up next week as tonight was pretty much planting the seeds for that angle.

Making Jericho 100% honorable would almost make having the Apostles around redundant. With that said, it doesn't mean that Jericho will cheat to win every match. Aside from his match with Cena, he won every tournament match to become the Undisputed Champion cleanly. Meaning he defeated Edge, Kennedy, and HBK all cleanly in singles competition. Whether or not Jericho's run is short or long I won't spoil, but it will be treated seriously. I try to not use outside interference or anything like that in PPV matches unless it is imperative to advance the story and lead to something bigger.

Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Well that's why I brought up:

Vince McMahon will be making an appearance on RAW The Road To Great American Bash Episode 3 of 6 to make what he is describing as "A groundbreaking announcement'."

One can only imagine what the eccentric owner of WWE has to say.

Raw The Road To The Great American Bash 2K9 Episode 2 of 6 Preview
We're in store for another can't miss edition of WWE 2K9 Raw. The second episode on the road to The Great American Bash unfolds. So far many seeds have been planted, but there are questions that still remain unanswered.

Tag Team Championship Grudge Match
Haas and Benjamin captured the Tag Team Championships in what could go down as a true classic tag team bout at Judgment Day. Their attitudes quickly changes as last week on Raw they were determined to take the easy way out, deliberately counting themselves out in The Colons rematch clause match. As a result The Colons were victorious, but Haas and Benjamin remained champions.

After the Colons stormed into Bischoff's office demanding justice Bischoff granted them another shot at the Tag Team Champions this week on Raw. You've gotta imagine that the Colons will be gunning for the World's Greatest Tag Team's heads as the window of opporitunity to regain their belts slowly closes.

Last week Legacy was heavily involved in the Raw broadcast. Orton opened the show blaming Dibiase's actions against Kane as a prime distraction resulting in Legacy losing every one of their matches at Judgment Day. As a result, Orton has requested that this week on Raw Dibiase call out Kane! Bischoff also announced that due to the Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio continuing to involve himself in Legacy's business after cleanly defeating DH Smith at Judgment Day, Legacy leader Randy Orton has the opporitunity to choose any Legacy member to take on Mysterio at The Bash for the IC belt. Who will Orton choose?

Not only that, but after the Kung Fu Cowboys chose to back up Noble and Mysterio in their crusade against Legacy the seeds were planted for what could be a long bitter rivalry between themselves and Legacy. Both The Kung Fu Cowboys and Legacy (Jamal and David Smith) are viable contenders for the Tag Team Championships in the future. This week, the new rivalry is taken one step future when David Smith takes on Jimmy Wang Yang in singles action.

******

On the topic of Legacy, Noble challenged Orton to a match during the opening segment of last weeks Raw only to have the challenge laughed off by Orton. After cutting a promo stating that he (Noble) will give Orton a reason to accept his challenge for a match at Great American Bash, Noble interfered in Orton's three way dance costing him a shot at Jericho's Undisputed Championship. Will Noble's actions be enough reason for Orton to accept his challenge? Find out this week on Raw.

******

After taking out John Cena and possibly ending his career at Judgment Day, Shad hasn't earned himself a lot of friends or supporters. Among those crusading against Shad's blatant disregard for in ring ethics is Jeff Hardy who after challenging Shad to a match last week almost ended up suffering the same fate as Cena when Shad decided to attack Hardy with a chair instead of finishing the match. What will Hardy have to say regarding these actions? Will Shad's reign of terror amongst the superstars of the WWE go further?

Last weeks show closed with Jericho's Undisputed Championship ceromony being "ruined" as a result of Triple H and the number one contender Edge. Although Triple H is not the number one contender, he has vowed to make Jericho's life a living hell until he does get the chance to take the belt off of Jericho. Edge being the number one contender is in a prime situation to achieve Triple H's goal as Eric Bischoff has granted Edge the opporitunity to decide on the stipulation for Edge/Jericho 2 at Great American Bash.

Another move by Bischoff was allowing Jericho's Apostles to do what they have described as an "honor" and defend Jericho's name this week on Raw when they take on his two greatest detracters; Edge and HHH. A win in this match could help establish the young tag team of The Miz and Kendrick as a full fledged Main Event act here in the WWE. You've gotta imagine that Jericho and Knox won't be too far away from the match either.

With five shows left until WWE 2K9's second PPV the Great American Bash comes to you live on wrestlingclique.com you've gotta imagine that Raw will house can't miss BTB'ing. Tune into tomorrow for the official post of Raw The Road To Great American Bash 2K9 Episode 2 of 6!

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment 2k9 (Anything Can And Will Happen)

Another great installment of Raw. It would be easier for me to list what I don't like about this BTB than to list what I like. What interests me least atm is the tag division, but it's still better than 50% of the garbage Vince is churning out.

The angle with Kane being burned again and escaping the hospital is pretty clever. I'm also loving Jericho's gimmick and his stable. It just suits his character so well as he's always called himself an honest man. The beginning of his last heel turn in the WWE was brilliant because it was pretty easy to see his side of the story, and easy to see that he believed he was right. That makes the best heel, imo.

Keep up the good work, man.

Thanks for the feedback. There isn't much I can do with the Tag Division without hurting both singles divisions as my roster was chosen completely at random out of a hat (out of Smackdown, Raw, and ECW guys). With that said......there will be a pretty big Tag Team Championship storyline going into SummerSlam....

RAW The Road To The Great American Bash 2K9 Episode 2 of 6
0:00-0:02-The opening video for Raw plays. Last weeks show is recapped, the pyro goes off, and we're live!

0:02-0:11-"You think you know me" hits, Edge makes his way down to the ring to a huge pop. What is usually a mixed reaction seems to be swaying more towards a face pop due to Edge's opposition of the most hated man in the WWE, Chris Jericho.

Edge grabs a microphone and gears up to cut a promo.

Edge:
Last week I once again proved to the world that it is my destiny to be the man here in WWE when I pinned both HBK **Fans cheer**, and Randy Orton **Fans Boo** in a three way dance to capture the number one contendership for the WWE Undisputed Championship.

It seems as if our faithful General Manager Eric Bischoff felt that you the fans didn't just want to see another singles match between Jericho and one of his Judgment Day opponents. For that reason, he let the winner of the three way dance have the esteemed ability to choose what kind of match they want to face Jericho in, and that is why I am out here right now!

**Fans cheer**

Of course Eric gave me a call after last weeks show and went over a few guide lines. There are obviously certain matches I cannot choose. Meaning, as much as I'd like to I couldn't put Jericho in a 15 on 1 Handicap match where if he loses I get the belt.......damn that'd be fun wouldn't it?

With that in mind, I began racking my brain, and the first thing that came to mind was those damn Dudleyz! I'm sure you guys remember that Tag Team.....jeez where are they now? Christian and I feuded with them for what seemed like eons, and all that I remember was how painful it was to pick 5 inch splinters out of my back after facing them cause they had some sort of revered fetish for slamming other guys through tables....HEY, I'm not judging, everybody is into something.

Thinking back, it made me think of how great it would be to win Jericho's belt by slamming him through a table.....but then I took another sip of my drink and thought no I could think of something a bit better.....a bit more....violent.

**Crowd Cheers**

So I thought to myself, last week when I made the save for Triple H......yeah never thought I'd be saying that. I came down to the ring swinging my very best friend, a steel chair! With that in mind, I thought to myself "How about a Street Match" so that I'd have full reign to bash Jericho in the head with a chair and cause him to lose whatever number of brain cells he is fortunate enough to have left......but then I digressed, I could think of something much more violent than that....much more.....

**Crowd Cheers**

Then it came to me.....hell.....I have won more Tag Team Championships than I can count, and for a good majority of those matches Ladders were involved....**Crowd Cheers**....so I think to myself, wouldn't it be to my advantage to make it my specialty, a Ladders match? I got overly excited and then truthfully I got a little depressed....because I realized that with it being a Ladders match it really wouldn't be encouraged for me to slam Jericho through two tables or knock him out with a steel chair. I'd be fairly limited in my execution....

**Break the walls down hits to a chorus of boos! Jericho walks down to the stage in his typical suit. He has a microphone in hand and has Mike Knox standing tall behind him.**

Jericho:
You come out here, and waste ten minutes of time on MY TV show for something that could have been faxed to Eric Bischoff? These fans already feel entitled enough without bearing any responsibility for what we do to our bodies. Edge, why would you further that stigma? You've suffered a broken neck that put you out for over a year. I want you to realize when I say this to you, I'm doing it from a place of kindness, a place of compassion, I'm trying to save you Edge. You don't want me in a tables match, in a street match, or a ladders match. It's just far too dangerous for you, and for me. Be grateful that you get to go down in time as my first defeated opponent in what will be a legendary title reign and simply choose for us to face each other in a classic, dignifying, singles wrestling match.

**Fans boo**

Edge: You know what Jericho.....you're right...!

**Fans boo louder**

Edge: Somebody needs to be saved.....the only problem is that somebody isn't me, and it certainly isn't you, it's every one of these millions of fans who have to put up with your boring, robotic, soap opera villain wannabe act. That is why in 4 weeks at the Great American Bash I'm going all out. I'm going to combine all the things that make me tick, the Tables, the Ladders, the Chairs......I guess you could say that we'll be having a...T.....L......C match!

**Edge drops down his microphone to a huge ovation. The fans are ecstatic at this revelation. Jericho who is looking cross as a result of his point not coming across leaves. We fade out of the segment.**

0:11-0:13-
A promo from earlier during the day airs with Jeff Hardy. Hardy addresses how lucky he was last week to not suffer the same fait as John Cena. Hardy accuses Shad as being nothing more than hype. Hardy says Shad couldn't put away Cena at Judgment Day, and he couldn't put away himself (Hardy) last week on Raw. As a result Hardy accuses Shad of not being able to win matches at a Main Event level. He challenges Shad to prove him wrong by taking him on at the Great American Bash and instead of resorting to trying to end his career with a steel chair, wrestle the match.

Tag Team Championship, The Colons VS The WGTT (C)
It is announced that as a result of last week there are no count outs in this match. The match is back and fourth for the first five minutes. Within the mid match mark the Colons begin dominating. The match ends with the World's Greatest Tag Team yet again taking the easy way out when Benjamin nails Carlito with the Tag Team Championship resulting in a DQ finish. The Colons win, but the WGTT keep their belts.
0:26-0:27-Another promo from earlier in the day is shown where The Kung Fu Cowboys say that they want to climb the ladder in the WWE so that they can win the Tag Team belts. That is why last week they decided to back up their good friend Rey Mysterio and get the attention of Legacy. They challenge David Smith and Jamal to a match at the Great American Bash.

0:27-0:31-Commercials

0:31-0:33-In a deja-vu from last week the Colons burst into Bischoff's office frustrated with the out come of the Tag Team Championship match. Bischoff agrees that once again the World's Greatest Tag Team, despite having a ton of talent took the easy way out. Bischoff says that he is going to fix the situation for good. At the Great American Bash it will be the final chapter between the World's Greatest Tag Team and the Colons when they face off in a No DQ Falls Count Anywhere match for the Tag Team Championships.

0:33-0:38-Legacy are backstage in their private locker room. Orton informs Dibiase that last week Bischoff gave Legacy the chance to select one member to take on Mysterio for the IC belt at The Bash, and Orton has decided that since he himself has other business to take care off Ted Dibiase is the prime candidate. Orton tells Dibiase that this is his one chance to redeem himself. Orton then asks Dibiase if he is ready to call out Kane later tonight, Dibiase gets flustered and eventually gets out that he is not ready to call out Kane and that he needs just one more week to gain his composure. Orton is obviously angry, but has other things to worry about so he grants Dibiase that leniency.

0:38-0:42-Commercials

0:42-1:00-Shad and Randy Orton VS Jamie Noble and Jeff Hardy

Before the match Orton cuts a promo stating that last week Noble got involved in his business and issued a challenge to Orton to face him at the Great American Bash. Orton says that until Noble had cost him his shot at the Undisputed Championship he had absolutely no reason to grant Noble a match, but now he does. Orton tells the fans that make no mistake the Great American Bash will be Noble's funeral. Orton will teach him and everybody in the back a lesson to never mess with Orton or Legacy.

Orton and Shad dominate most of the match. Orton dominates Noble early on and it is looking like Noble may have gotten in way over his head. Orton tears Noble's chest open with ridiculous chops. Noble fights back and is able to make the hot tag to Hardy who raises hell and takes down both Shad and Orton to take us into the commercial break at neutral ground.

0:50-0:53-Commercials

The match ends with Shad and Jeff Hardy brawling up the ramp. Orton and Noble are the legal men. Orton hits an RKO, but instead of pinning Noble gets up to his feet. He taunts Noble and takes liberties. Orton picks Noble up and taunts the fans, out of nowhere Noble rolls Orton up.....the ref makes the count....1.....2......3.....!!!!!

I don't believe it! Call me crazy or is that the biggest pinfall victory of this underdog's career?!

Noble gets the hell out of the ring and retreats backstage. Orton is absolutely furious. His ego and willingness to put hurting Noble ahead of getting a pinfall cost him the match.

1:00-1:05-
We head backstage where Triple H and Edge are going over strategy for their match.
Edge: I just want to get one thing clear Trips, don't get any ideas. I still despise you for you coming to Smackdown last year and trying to take over my show. Our partnership is simply convenient for the both of us, we both oppose Jericho. Got it?

Triple H: Don't worry Edge, the feeling is mutual.

Edge: Good, and don't expect me to be doing any of that DX Crotch Chopping garbage.

Triple H: Woah, woah, woah! Who said anything about D-Generation X? DX is dead and gone. Sure it was back last year, but that was novelty more than anything. Vince wanted to sell some T-Shirts and Shawn and I agreed. DX has been dead since Shawn retired in 98 and it would take a pretty desperate situation for us to bring it back, we're past that.

Edge:
Alright, enough of these politics. Let's just worry about extracting our revenge on the Apostle's Of Revolution in the Main Event tonight.

The scene fades out...

1:05-1:06-
Orton is seen walking backstage furiously trashing the arena corridors. He runs into David Smith who is approaching the curtain getting ready for his match next.

Orton: I just want you to know David, that if you don't defeat Jimmy Wang Yang tonight and give me something to be positive about, don't bother coming back through that curtain or else it'll be the last thing you do.

1:10-1:26-
David Smith W/Jamal VS Jimmy Wang Yang W/Funaki
Both Smith and Wang Yang are very competent in ring performers. They in turn provide an excellent TV match that tells a great story. Early on in the match Jamal attacks Funaki and as a result both men are sent backstage in order to minimize the distractions.

The story of the match is Jimmy Wang Yang's speed and high flying abilities are constantly being countered by David Smith's technical and mat ability. Smith continually attempts but fails to hook in the deadly Sharp Shooter.

Smith keeps Wang Yang grounded, but Wang Yang makes a hot comeback near the finish of the match taking out Smith. Wang Yang goes to the top rope for a splash, Smith catches him and rolls out on top and hooks the Sharpshooter for the submission win!

Here is your winner, David Smith!

At least with Smith winning Orton might be able to keep his blood pressure issues under control....maybe....
1:26-1:30-Commercials

1:30-1:34-A Hype package is shown of Vince McMahon's accomplishments and controversy's. At the end it is announced that Vince will be on Raw live in two weeks for a huge announcement.

1:34-1:38-Commercials

1:38-2:06 (Including Overrun)-The Apostle's Of Revolution (Kendrick and Miz) VS Triple H and Edge

The Apostle's dominate early on. Triple H and Edge cannot work together as a team and as a result have a number of avoidable mis communications costing them the upper hand. The Apostle's are able to cheat behind the referees back and constantly double team the legal man. We go into our last commercial with Jericho and cheer leading at ringside as the Apostle's dominate.

1:48-1:52-Commercials

We come back and HHH is thrown to the outside. Jericho is able to distract the ref long enough for Mike Knox at ringside to whip HHH into the steps. Knox throws HHH back into the ring which allows Kendrick to get a quick two count. Out of nowhere HBK runs down the ramp and starts brawling with Jericho and Knox in an attempt to even the odds at ringside. In the ring Miz and Kendrick double team HHH and ignore the referees plees for them to get back to their corner. Edge jumps in and we've got an all out brawl on our hands. The referee has no choice but to ring the bell and end things in a no contest.

The brawl continues, at first the tandem of HHH, HBK, and Edge have the upper hand but numbers prevail. Jericho leads as the General as his squad dissects HHH, HBK, and Edge in the ring. The fans are showering the Apostle's with boos.......

"MIIIIIIIIISTTTTERRRRR KENNNNEEEEDDDDYYYY......KENNNNNEDDDYYYYY!!!!!"

What the hell? What is Mister Kennedy doing out here? The last time we saw him he was defeated by Jericho in the Undisputed Championship tournament!

Kennedy runs down to the ring and takes out Jericho, evening the odds. HHH, HBK, and Edge are able to comeback and knock the Apostle's out of the ring.

The show ends with HHH, Edge, and HBK all looking very confused as to why Ken Kennedy of all people would put himself in harms way to help them. Maybe we'll get some answers next week.

The show once again goes off the air with the Apostle's retreating while the challengers stand tall in the ring.
