Wwe Monday Night Raw 1/5/09 Live From Melon Arena in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania
We start the show with a promo of Monday Night Raw's very first episode and the fireworks show and Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole welcome us to the show. Michael: Welcome to Monday Night Raw live from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, but in 20 days our first pay-per-view the Royal Rumble begins. Jerry: And tonight we will see a Intercontinental Title match between Rey Mysterio and Chris Jericho. Michael: Were about to kick off our first match ever on Monday Night Raw.
Kane Vs Shawn Michaels (Royal Rumble Qualifying Match) We begin the match with Shawn slapping Kane in the face. There were alot of cheers after HBK's slap. Kane then smiled and attacked Michaels. He sends Michaels in to the turnbuckle and hits him with an uppercut. Kane then has him inside of a headlock. The fans are clapping to get HBK some momentum. HBK hits Kane with a big boot. He then goes for a pin attempt, 1..2.. and Kane kicks out at 2. HBK then hits a flying forearm on the "Big Red Machine". He then throws Kane to the outside of the ring. Shawn goes airborne and hits Kane with a moonsault off the top turnbuckle. HBK tries to hit Kane with the superkick but Kane dunks underneath and HBK hits his leg aganist the turnbuckle. Kane sends HBK back inside the ring and goes for a pin attempt. 1..2.. and Michaels kicks out. Kane tries to go for a chokeslam but Michaels counters and hits Kane with Sweet Chin Music. Michaels pins Kane, 1..2..and Kane kicks out. Kane then sits up and hits HBK with a chokeslam. Michaels is being pinned by Kane, 1..2.. and Michaels gets the shoulder up Michaels then hits a series of flying forearms. Followed by a elbow drop from the turnbuckle. Shawn then tunes up the band and hits Sweet Chin Music on Kane. Shawn then gets the 1..2..3 count on Kane. Winner by pinfall Shawn Michaels (10:45)
We go backstage where we see Randy Orton with Legacy Orton: I can't believe it! Orton then throws a water bottle on the ground Rhodes: What wrong Randy Orton: I lost a match last week aganist Batista, now thanks to him I can't be in the Royal Rumble match. Orton then sighs DiBiase: Well next week, were in a six man tag match aganist Rey Mysterio, Batista and Cm Punk. Orton: That may be true, but tonight I want my rematch aganist Batista and if I win, I get to be in the Rumble Match. Vince McMahon appears Vince: Well Orton, if you want that match, ill grant it to you. So tonight, we'll see Batista vs Randy Orton, in a No Holds Barred Match! Orton: Yes! Thanks Vince Batista then appears Batista: Well since you wanna face me so badly, bring it on! Orton then pushes Batista

Michael: Wow, what a match for tonight King Jerry: That seems very exciting, now if only I can get in the Rumble match. Michael: I don't think Vince will allow you to Jerry: Aww man
Rey Mysterio (c) Vs Chris Jericho (Intercontinental Title Match) We begin the match with a staredown between both men. Mysterio then hits a series of kicks on Jericho, but he doesn't go down. Jerchio then irish whips Mysterio into the ropes followed by a drop kick. Jericho then goes for a pin attempt. 1.. and Mysterio kicks out at 1. Jericho then picks up Mysterio then throws him outside the ring. He places Mysterio on top of the Spanish announce table. Jericho then hits a lion sault from the top turnbuckle through the table on Rey Mysterio. There is a series of boos coming from the audiance. Jericho then places Rey and the ring and goes for a pin. 1..2.. and Rey kicks out at 2. Mysterio then does a hurricarana on Jericho and has him positioned for a 619. Mysterio goes for it but is blocked my Jericho. Then its followed by a Codebreaker. Jericho then goes for the pin. 1..2.. and Rey gets his foot on the ropes. Rey then manages to get to his feet. He then hits Jericho with a dropkick followed by a moonsault from the top turnbuckle. Rey then goes for the pin on Jericho. 1..2.. and Jericho kicks out. Jericho then tries to go for the Walls Of Jericho before he gets rolled up by Mysterio. 1..2.. and Jericho kicked out. Rey then gets Jericho set up for the 619 again and this time, he hits it. He goes to the top turnbuckle and hits the Droppin the Dime on Jericho. Rey then goes for a pin attempt. 1..2.. and then JBL from out of no where hits Rey with a steel chair and Jericho gets DQ. JBL then picks up Rey and hits with with the Clothesline. JBL then picks up a mic as Jericho walks away. JBL: Rey, you thought I was gonna walk away, well guess wrong! I want my rematch for the Intercontinental Title next week on Raw. The fans boos JBL real loud. Winner by DQ and still Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio
Backstage interview with World Champion John Cena Stephanie McMahon: Tell us John, who will you be facing at the RR for the World Heavyweight Championship John: Well, I don't know that Stephanie. Well have to wait in 2 weeks for a 8 man battle royal to see who I'll face. Cm Punk walks up to Cena and comfronts him Cm Punk: Well Cena, it could be me that you face at the RR for the World Title. John: I'll not be supprised if its you I face. Punk: Who knows it could either by Randy Orton, Batista Shawn Michaels or someone else. Cena: Well whoever that is, I'll go through anything to retain that world title.
Michael: Wow, in 2 weeks well have a battle royal to determin who will face John Cena at the Royal Rumble in 20 days.
Jerry; Like Cena said, I woudn't be supprised if it is Cm Punk.

Vickie Guerrero comes to the ring to make a special annoucement Vickie: Excuse me! Boos continue and get louder Vickie: I said excuse me! Boos keep going Vickie: Well, at the royal rumble, the're will be a guest entry, and he will be coming out of retirement. The crowd cheers Vickie: We will not reveal who it until he enters in the royal rumble. Now, thank you and enjoy the main event.
Main Event: Randy Orton Vs Batista in a No Holds Barred Match (Royal Rumble Qualification Match)
We begin the match with Orton spiting in Batista's face. He then gets really angry and hits him with a clothesline. Batista then Orton to the outside of the ring. He then tries to hit a running bulldog to him on the outside of the ring, but Orton counters and throws Batista over the baricade and into the crowd. The 2 men start to brawl in the audiance. The fans have a mixed reaction over it. Orton then finds a chair on the ground and hits Batista outside of the head with it. Randy then throws Batista back to the outside of the ring. Batista manages to get up before getting drop kicked in the face by Orton. Orton pushes Batista back into the ring and grabs 2 steel chairs. Batista then blocks one of the chair shots and hits Orton with a spear. Batista then picks Orton back up and hits Randy with a spinebuster through the steel chair. Batista then goes for a pin attempt on the hurt Orton. 1..2.. and Orton then kicks out. Batista then clotheslines Orton over the top rope and lands on the arena floor. Batista then graps one of the steel chairs and heads to the outside of the ring. Batista then hits Orton outside the head with a steel chair. Batista then picks up Orton before getting hit with a low blow. Randy sends Batista back into the ring. Orton then grabs a table and sets it up in the ring. Orton tries to hit Batista with the ring bell he took from the outside of the ring. Batista then blocks it and hits a spinebuster to Orton. Batista tries to hit a Batista Bomb on Orton through the table before Legacy comes out and attacks Batista from up behind. Rhodes hits a DDT on Batista followed by a swinging neckbreaker from DiBiase. They place Batista on the top turnbuckle and Orton hits an RKO to Batista off the turnbuckle and through the table. Orton then goes for a pin attempt on Batista. 1..2..3 and Orton gains a Royal Rumble Match spot. Legacy continues to beat down on Batista before Cm Punk comes out and makes the save. Cm Punk throws Rhodes and DiBiase over the top rope. Punk then turns around and gets hit with an RKO. Orton then does his signature pose as Raw goes off the air. Winner by pinfall and New Royal Rumble Match Entry Randy Orton

Its just been announced in the Wwe that Kofi Kingston has been injured at a house show match aganist JBL. He has a fractured knee and will miss the Royal Rumble, he could likely return around Backlash.
Vickie Guerrero just gave us a clue who the Supprise Royal Rumble Entry will be. The clue is that Hes won both WWF Title and Intercontinental.
Wwe is trying to ink a deal with Tna's Kurt Angle and Team 3D, their contracts expire in March. Spoilers say that Angle could possibly be on Raw and Dudley Boys on ECW or Smackdown
The Wwe is trying to make a HHH/Undertaker rivary. The rivary could start around Extreme Rules and last till Summerslam. After that, Undertaker may be in the World Title hunt.
Also this just in, the Wwe draft till take place in 5 weeks. Spoilers say HHH could go to Raw, Jeff Hardy to ECW, and Orton to Smackdown.
Wwe's ECW 1/6/09, Live from Rosemont Theater in Chicago Illinois
We start the show with a promo of Christan's victory over Morrison and Miz last week. After that match, Jack Swagger attacked and mauled Christan and left him bloodied in the ring. As we went off the air last week. Swagger smiled as he held up the ECW Title.
The ECW theme plays followed with the fireworks. Matt Striker and Todd Ghrisham welcome us to the show. Todd: Hello everybody and welcome to ECW from Chicago Illinois! Matt: I always loved the windy city of Chicago Todd: Well, anyway we got tag team action tonight as The Miz and John Morrison face off aganist Evan Borune and Tommy Dreamer!
ECW's General Manager Tiffany makes her way to the ring for an announcement. Tiffany: I have an announcement to make about the Royal Rumble! The fans start to cheer Tiffany: Well after Swaggers attack to Christan last week, I'd decided to make tonights main event Christan Vs Jack Swagger in a non-title match! But if Christan wins, he'll face Swagger at the Royal Rumble for the ECW Championship! The fans start to cheer. Tiffany: Well thats all I got to say. Thanks everybody, and enjoy tonights ECW.
Mark Henry w/ Tony Atlas Vs Paul Burchill w/ Katie Lee (Royal Rumble Qualifying Match) We begin the match with Henry throwing Burchill into the turnbuckle. Henry gives a couple of right hand punches to Burchill before Henry hits him with a backbreaker. Burchill throws weak punches at Henry that doesn't affect him. Henry holds Burchill for the Worlds Strongest Slam. Followed by the Worlds Strongest splash. Henry goes for a pin. 1..2..3 Atlas comes in the ring as he raises Henry's hand for victory.
Winner and New Royal Rumble Entry Mark Henry (0:48)
We see John Morrison and the Miz Backstage Morrison: I can't believe we lost our World Tag Team Titles last week! Miz: Calm down Morrison, im gonna talk to Tiffany to see if we'll face Carlito and Primo next week on Smackdown. Tiffany: Since you want that, you will get it, only if you defeat Evan Borune and Tommy Dreamer up next. Morrison: Yes, thank you Tiffany! Miz: Now see Morrison, we got our.... Carlito: Well see you next week on ECW, good luck, your gonna need it!

John Morrison and Miz Vs Evan Borune and Tommy Dreamer The match starts off with Miz and Dreamer. Miz hits a couple of quick kicks to Dreamer, followed by a big boot to the face. The Miz gets the tag to John Morrison. Morrison delivers a dropkick onto Dreamer. Morrison goes for a cover. 1..2.. and Dreamer kicks out. Morrison picks up Dreamer. Tommy hits a couple of punches to Morrison before throwing him out of the ring. Evan Borune is about to do a moonsault to Morrison onto the outside of the ring before Miz pushes Borune and he flips onto the matt, as Morrison moves out of the way. Morrison comes back into the ring and returns to attack Dreamer. Morrison delivers a spinning dropkick onto Dreamer. Morrison tags back in Miz. The Miz goes up to the top turnbuckle and delivers a flying moonsault onto Dreamer. Dreamer gets back up and hits Miz with a clothesline. Dreamer tags in Borune. He starts to hit a series of clotheslines and right hands on Miz and Morrison. He hits a spinning heelkick onto Miz. Borune goes on to the top turnbuckle and tries to go for the 360 flip before Morrison pushes him off the top turnbuckle. It allows the Miz to hit the Reality Check onto Borune. Miz goes for the pin, 1..2..3 and the match is over. Winners are John Morrison and The Miz. (11:43)

Main Event: Jack Swagger Vs Christian (Non-Title) The match starts off with Christian hitting Swagger with left handed punches. Christian irish whips Swagger into the turnbuckle and hits Swagger with a big boot into the turnbuckle. Christian tries to hit a dropkick onto Swagger but misses. Swagger then goes for a cover. 1..2.. and Christian gets the shoulder up. Swagger hits a shoulder block to Christian and followed by a backdrop to the outside of the ring. Swagger exits the ring and hits Christian's head aganist the annouce table. Swagger then goes on top of the table and tries to hit Christian with a splash but misses and Swagger goes through the table. Christian gets back into the ring at 6 and Swagger at 9 1/2. Christian gets hit by a headbut from Swagger followed by a big boot. Swagger goes for a pin attempt. 1..2.. and Christian kicks out at 2. Jack Swagger then tries to go for a running bulldog but Christian counters and hits a clothesline. Christian gets Swagger and tries to go for an Unprettier, before its reversed and Swagger hits a Gorillia Presslam onto Christian. Swagger tries to get the pin. 1..2.. and Finlay comes out with Hornswoggle and distract the referee. Finlay tosses Christian the Shaleigh while Swagger is distracted with Finlay and Hornswoggle. Christian hits Swagger with the Shaleigh while the referee was distracted with Finlay. Christian goes for a pin. 1..2..3 and Christian gets the win. Winner and Number 1 Contender for ECW Title at The Royal Rumble, Christian. (9:43)
ECW goes off the air with Christian looking at the ECW Title along with Finlay.
