Tanahashi
Tanahashi worked the back of Petey to perfection, not only did it set up for the finish, it also dramatically reduced the speed advantage that Petey usually uses. With Petey seriously hurting, Tanahashi locked in a Cloverleaf in the centre of the ring and put his full weight back to force the tap out from the Canadian.
Result: Tanahashi advances via Submission.
Backstage, Team 3D are standing by with Lauren. Brother Ray once again talks about how confidant they are of becoming 22 time world tag team champions at Slammiversary. Ray goes on to say that each title win, seems to drive them on to more and more. Ray looked to have more to say but a beer bottle to the back of the head from James Storm put an end to the interview. Devon tried to fight off Storm but he found himself on the receiving end of a steel chair shot by Robert Roode. The TNA World Tag Team Champions stand over the fallen challengers as Storm pulls out another beer for a celebratory drink.

Jay Lethal
Lethal has the match under control until Consequences Creed made his way to ringside. The presence of Creed did just enough to distract Lethal and allow Magnus to take over. Magnus used his power to good effect as he picked apart Lethal piece by piece. Magnus steamrolled Lethal with a clothesline but decided another was in order. Magnus went off the ropes but Creed tripped him. Magnus landed face first which gave Lethal time to recover and hit the Lethal Combination for the three count.
Result: Jay Lethal via Pinfall.
Lethal didn’t appear to see Creed’s involvement but he soon figured it out when Creed raised his arm in victory. Lethal and Creed exchanged words in the middle before Lethal walks away.
Next we are shown an advert for the upcoming World X Cup. The advert reminds us that all the matches bar the final will be shown on TNAWrestling.com.

Rhino w/ Jeff Jarrett
Angle surprised many by picking his former Main Event Mafia stable mate to represent him tonight and it looked to be a good move as Nash destroyed Rhino in the early going. Once Rhino figured out that Nash’s knees are 90% surgically repaired, the tide shifted and Rhino took complete control. Rhino turned in an impressive performance that even included a Rhino Driver to the seven footer. Rhino eventually got the victory with a Gore.
Result: Rhino via Gore. Jeff Jarrett names the third stipulation for Slammiversary.
Following the final bell Angle has his head in his hands while Jarrett raises Rhino’s arm in victory. Jarrett takes a mic and announces the three match stipulations for Slammiversary. The First fall will be Kurt Angle’s selection of a Submission match. The second fall will be a first blood match, and if needed, the third fall will now be a Loser Leaves Town Match!
TNA Knockout Law Traci Brooks is backstage with Lauren. Traci complains about the Knockouts doing whatever the hell they feel like doing and refusing to listen to her. Traci wonders aloud if it is due to the fact that she is not an accomplished wrestler. Lauren tries to convince Traci that she just needs to try a different approach. Traci says she has already started planning and will put the plan into motion at Slammiversary. Traci guarantees that the Knockouts will listen to her after this Sunday.

Christy Hemme, Roxxi & ODB
All five competitors for Queen of the Mountain this Sunday were in the ring at the same time, Rudy Charles had no chance and just let them run wild, much to the fans delight. Roxxi and Saeed fought on the outside while Kong and ODB ended up fighting on the ramp way. This left Hemme and Rain alone in the ring together. Hemme hit a swinging neck breaker before climbing the ropes for the F.F.G. Has Hemme hit it, it would have been over but Rain moved at the last second. Rain got back to her feet and hit a Fisherman Driver on Hemme to pick up the three count and put the momentum on her side.
Result: Rain, Awesome Kong & Raisha Saeed via Pinfall.
The win wasn’t enough for Rain as she then set out on making her task easier on Sunday as she introduced a steel chair to the knee of Hemme. Roxxi tried to make the save but got the same chair in the face. ODB meanwhile was on the receiving end of a Kong and Saeed double team beating. Rain slams the chair down before grabbing the Knockouts title belt. Rain puts her left foot on the stomach of Hemme and raises the title over her head in victory.
Next we are shown one final advertisement for the Slammiversary PPV taking place in Nashville, TN this Sunday. The event marks seven years of TNA Wrestling.

AJ Styles, Samoa Joe & Christopher Daniels
With a title match to worry about Sting took the cowards way out and left his partners to do all the work effectively making it a three on two handicap match as Sting stood at ringside and watched. Styles, Joe and Daniels used their numbers advantage to take out Steiner and then Booker. Sting’s plan may have backfired as he looks like losing his backup for King of the Mountain as Daniels hit Booker with the Last Rites before Styles hit a Styles Clash and Joe hit a Muscle buster before locking in the Coquina Clutch on the unconscious Booker. Earl Hebner doesn’t even need to drop the arm as Booker is out cold.
Result: Samoa Joe, AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels via Knockout.
Styles, Joe and Daniels stand beside each other and invite the worried looking champion into the ring for some action. Sting declines the offer and quickly heads to the back clutching his title belt in his hands. Styles and Daniels high five but Joe isn’t so nice as he takes both men down with a double clothesline. Joe then hits two more Muscle busters as he begins his work for Sunday by weakening his two biggest problems in the match. With Booker already done and dusted, Joe makes Sting his next target and charges after the champion to end the show.
