To open iMPACT! This week we have the returning James Mitchell alongside Abyss in the ring. Mitchell wastes no time in ripping into what Abyss has become. Mitchell says he made Abyss into one of the most feared men on the planet and it sickens him to see what he has fallen to now. Mitchell says he could not sit at home any longer and watch his creation be made a mockery of. Mitchell says he is going to reintroduce the old Abyss to the new TNA. Mitchell then gives Matt Morgan fair warning, that he will be the first recipient of Abyss’s full force. Before that however, Mitchell is going to get Abyss some action to work him back into the monster he once was.

Kazarian
Williams was without Bashir tonight and looked the better for it. Williams managed to slow Kazarian down and forced him to wrestle at his pace. Despite that advantage, Kazarian was able to mount a comeback and gain the victory with the Wave of the Future.
Result: Kazarian via Pinfall.
Backstage in the office of Traci Brooks is the new TNA Knockouts Champion, Christy Hemme. Hemme tells Traci that she has always felt like a Queen but now she wants to make it official. Hemme and Traci then announce an addition to the Slammiversary card, the first ever, Queen of the Mountain Match for Hemme’s TNA Knockouts Championship.

Taylor Wilde and Sarah Stock
Sarah Stock made her return to TNA at Slammiversary but tonight was her first match back. Despite only missing a few months, she showed some ring rust that the Beautiful People gladly focused on and exploited. Love hit the Lights Out but Taylor broke the count. Taylor eventually got the hot tag in and took the fight to her arch rivals. After several minutes of Taylor having the upper hand she grabbed hold of Angelina Love and decided to Drive her Wilde for the three count.
Result: Taylor Wilde and Sarah Stock via Pinfall.

Sonjay Dutt
Two men making their returns to TNA locked up in the first match of the returning Super X Cup. Sonjay Dutt reminded the fans of his blistering speed as he did his best to tire out the more experienced Petey Williams. Petey wasn’t going to be outdone and took away Dutt’s biggest asset when he zeroed on in the lower back to drastically reduce the speed of Dutt. Williams had several attempts at the Canadian Destroyer blocked but when he locked in the Sharpshooter, Dutt had only one answer and that was to Tap Out.
Result: Petey Williams advances via Submission.
Backstage in the Main Event Mafia locker-room now where Sting is addressing his stable mates. Sting congratulates his team mates on gaining the victory at Sacrifice but stops short of saying they did a good job. Sting then goes and questions weather or not Kevin Nash is fully committed to the Mafia’s clause anymore. Nash claims he is but Sting thinks Nash’s association with Morgan shows otherwise. Sting and Nash have a tense stare down to end the segment.

Raisha Saeed w/ Awesome Kong vs.
To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Roxxi
Saeed controlled most of the match thanks to the presence of Kong at ringside as anytime Roxxi got going, Kong interfered. Just when it looked like Saeed had the match in her grasp, Kong made a big mistake in timing. Saeed sent Roxxi off the ropes with an Irish Whip but Roxxi countered and sent Saeed off. Kong wasn’t looking and tripped Saeed which gave Roxxi a chance to hit the Voodoo Drop for the three count.
Result: Roxxi qualifies via Pinfall.
After the match Kong and Saeed exchange words but still leave the ring together. Despite the miscommunication, they appear to be back on the same page.
The TNA World Champion Sting is backstage with Lauren now. Sting says he is sick and tired of his opponents being picked out of a hat. Sting says Morgan didn’t deserve to be anywhere near the Main Event of Sacrifice yet he was anyway. Sting then says that since there is nobody in charge around here, he is going to start taking charge since he is the champion and whatnot. Sting then announces that starting next week, and continuing until Slammiversary, their will be Qualifying matches for the TNA World title match. Sting says he isn’t afraid to face four other guys at once, provided they earned the shot first.
Consequences Creed and Jay Lethal are walking backstage towards the ring. Along the way, Creed tells Jay Lethal to simply, watch him and follow his lead. Lethal doesn’t seem too impressed but remains quite anyway.

To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Consequences Creed w/ Jay Lethal
Before the match started, Creed had some words with the referee Earl Hebner following his refusal to count for Creed at Sacrifice, despite Creed being the illegal man. Creed appears to blame Hebner for that loss and is letting him know it. The argument allowed James Storm to gain the advantage and keep it for most of the match. Creed eventually got back on top with a Death Valley Driver. Creed signalled for Lethal to get up on the ring apron and distract the referee as Creed reached into his trunks. Lethal refuses which results in both men arguing in the middle of the match. Lethal eventually just walks off to end the argument, Creed also walks off but not before walking into the Last Call from James Storm. Storm hooked the leg and picked up the three count.
Result: James Storm via Pinfall.
James Storm is joined in the ring after the match by Robert Roode where the traditional beer bash begins. Jay Lethal meanwhile helps Creed back to his feet but Creed then shoves Lethal away and another argument ensues, this time about Lethal refusing to provide the distraction. Earl Hebner gets between Lethal and Creed to separate them as we go off the air.

Tanahashi
Stevens got off to a good start when he jumped Tanahashi before the bell but was soon on the wrong end of a vicious comeback beating. Stevens thought he had regained the momentum but Tanahashi dropped him on his head with a tombstone to pick up the three count.
Result: Tanahashi advances via Tombstone and Pinfall.
Backstage now and the duo known as Lethal Consequences are seemingly having some issues. Creed calls Lethal a glory hog to which Lethal slaps Creed. Creed shoves Lethal and storms off.

Taylor Wilde, The Governor and Sarah Stock
Again the Governor was targeted as the weak link as Mi Pi Sexy kept her in their corner and worked her over one at a time (I doubt many males would complain). Angelina Love hit the Lights Out but decided not to go for the pinfall as Sarah Stock and Taylor Wilde had yet to be tagged in. Love taunted both Taylor and Stock which prompted them to illegally enter the ring. Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne did the same for Mi Pi Sexy to ensure that Rudy Charles lost complete control of the match. After several unsuccessful attempts at getting some of the knockouts to leave the ring Rudy called for the bell and decided on a No Contest.
Result: No Contest.
The only difference the bell made was security had to come in to try and pry the six knockouts apart. Apparently, they didn’t realise the bell had sounded.

Abyss w/ James Mitchell vs.
To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Shark Boy
James Mitchell promised the old Abyss would return to TNA and based on tonight’s evidence, he may be right. Shark Boy offered a handshake to start, Abyss decided instead on a choke slam. Abyss felt bad and helped Shark Boy to his feet but then killed him with the Black Hole Slam for the quick victory.
Result: Abyss via Black Hole Slam and Pinfall.
After the bell, Mitchell gave Abyss the order and Abyss hit the Shock Treatment on the defenceless Shark Boy.
Backstage and even security is having problems keeping Mi Pi Sexy away from Taylor, Stock and the Governor as they are fighting again. Velvet Sky manages to blind Taylor with some hairspray before she get's physically removed from the building.

Lethal Consequences
Consequences Creed overrated himself tonight as he decided he didn’t need a partner and took on No Limit by himself. Although it was officially a tag match, Jay Lethal didn’t get anywhere close to being tagged in despite several opportunities for Creed to do so. As a result of Creed refusing to Tag, Lethal left Creed high and dry as No Limit hit a moonsault and Frog Splash combination for the three count.
Result: No Limit via Moonsault/Frog Splash combination and Pinfall.
After the match, Creed appears to blame Lethal for the loss. Lethal isn’t interested in arguing again and walks away.
Backstage now where the TNA X-Division Champion Jimmy Rave is standing by with Lauren. Rave claims he has an important announcement to make regarding his next opponent. Rave goes on to announce a four way match next week with the winner being declared the number one contender. The match will be Eric Young vs. Alex Shelley vs. Chris Sabin vs. Kazarian. Rave ensures that no one can claim he is ducking challengers.

Jackie
The veteran Jackie had literally a mountain to climb to qualify and it was no surprise when she failed to do so. Jackie tried everything from a swinging DDT to a dropkick, it just didn’t work as Kong was not going to be denied a chance at regaining her title. Kong hit seven consecutive Implant Busters to send a clear and decisive message to the current Knockouts Champion Christy Hemme. Kong is going to Kill you.
Result: Awesome Kong via Referee Stoppage.
Kong stood over her victim as she stared menacingly into the crowd, daring someone to step up and get in her face. Jackie meanwhile was waiting for a stretcher to bring her backstage.
Team 3D are backstage and standing by with Jeremy Borash. Brother Ray says that he and his brother finally disposed of the thugs known as LAX at Sacrifice. Ray says it is now time for the second and third objectives on their newest to do list. Beer Money Inc and the TNA World Tag Team Championships. Ray says they want to become 22 time tag team champions, and guarantees it will happen at Slammiversary, weather Beer Money like it or not.

Samoa Joe
Before the match started, TNA World Champion Sting made his way to ringside to do some special guest commentary for this match. Rhino started the match the better as he overpowered Joe but ended up getting outpaced to give the advantage back to Joe. Joe hit a tee bone suplex before locking in a Dragon Sleeper. Joe wore down Rhino before dragging him back to his feet and hoisting him up onto his shoulder in an impressive display of power. Joe paced the ring before slamming Rhino down with a sit out side power slam for the three count.
Result: Samoa Joe via Emerald Flowsion and Pinfall.
After the bell Joe locked eyes with the TNA World Champion who couldn’t help but be impressed and even intimidated by Joe’s dominating performance once he got the advantage. Joe and Sting have a tense stare down to end the show.

TNA iMPACT! Opens this week with two time TNA X-Division Champion Jay Lethal coming to the ring. Lethal isn’t dressed to compete but instead dressed to speak. Lethal is handed a mic as he prepares to speak his mind. Jay Lethal begins by giving us a brief history of the obvious problems he has been having with his good friend and tag partner Consequences Creed recently. Lethal says he considers Creed one of his best friends and does not want to see their friendship take this route. Lethal instead proposes that both men step into the ring later tonight and settle it once and for all. Lethal says he hopes they can soon put this situation behind them and move on to become the TNA World Tag Team Champions for a second time.

ODB
Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne came to the ring with Angelina Love but were then sent back by referee Rudy Charles. ODB used her power advantage while Love did every underhanded tactic she could think of to slow the match down and slowly pick apart ODB. Love hit the Lights Out on ODB but instead of going for the pin like she normally would she stood over ODB and mocked her. Taylor Wilde decided now would be a good time to take a walk to ringside. The mere presence of her arch nemesis at ringside threw Angelina Love off her game as she fell victim to the running power slam from ODB for the three count.
Result: ODB Qualifies via Running Power slam and Pinfall.
Backstage with Lauren is Consequences Creed. Creed keeps it short and sweet. He will see Jay Lethal in the ring later tonight.

Kiyoshi
Abyss got a warm up match last week, Matt Morgan decided he should have one also and choose Kiyoshi due to his Japanese Influence. Apparently Morgan fears Abyss may use some Japanese Style moves at Slammiversary. The massive size difference meant this match was a no contest right from the get go as Morgan easily over powered his much smaller opponent. Morgan toyed with Kiyoshi before putting him out of his misery with the Carbon Footprint for the three count.
Result: Matt Morgan via Carbon Footprint and Pinfall.
Even after the final bell Morgan decided he wanted some more as he dragged Kiyoshi back to his feet and positioned him for the Hellavator. Abyss had other plans as he charged to the ring for the save. Morgan thought better of it and bailed out to save himself for Slammiversary. Abyss watched Morgan back up the ramp as Kiyoshi was helped back to his feet. Kiyoshi was soon back off his feet as Abyss hit him with a Black Hole Slam for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Mistico
Bashir tried to ground the high flyer from Mexico but Mistico was having none of it as he constantly stayed one step ahead of his opponent. Mistico looked to be in trouble when Bashir managed to hit the W.M.D. but he kicked out at two. Mistico went back on the offence and put Bashir across the middle rope with a super kick. Mistico got up a head of steam and hit the El Péndulo for the three count.
Result: Mistico advances via El Péndulo and Pinfall.
Backstage and Angelina Love is trying to take some revenge on Taylor Wilde for costing her a title match earlier tonight. Angelina Love and Velvet Sky use kendo sticks on Taylor Wilde as Madison Rayne does her best to keep the locker room door closed so that help can not get in. Rayne finally losses out as security break in but not before the damage has been done. Angelina Love spits on Taylor Wilde as she leaves. Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne follow suite in an attempt to humiliate the Canadian even more.

Jay Lethal
Creed and Lethal started the match with a handshake but after that you’d never know they were partners or even friends as each man did everything he could to take his opponent down and out. Lethal hit an early Lethal Combination but Creed was able to kick out at two. Creed fought back and hit a Death Valley Driver for a two count. Lethal looked to have the match in the bag when he went high risk with his diving elbow drop. Unfortunately for Lethal, Creed was able to roll out of the way. As Lethal made a crash landing, Creed rolled him up and grabbed hold of the middle rope to keep Lethal down for the three count.
Result: Consequences Creed via Roll Up and Pinfall.
Backstage with Jeremy Borash is Beer Money Inc. Robert Roode tells us that they don’t fear Team 3D and they don’t duck challenges. Despite that statement Roode went on to say that Beer Money would only accept the challenge if Team 3D could win a match next week against a team of Beer Money’s choosing.

The TNA World Champion Sting once again made his way to ringside to get a better look at one of his next challengers. After watching Samoa Joe advance last week, Sting was solidly behind his Main Event Mafia team mate Kevin Nash this week. Despite the verbal support of Sting, Styles had too much for Nash and simply wore him down before hitting the killer blow. Styles hit the Pele kick before following up with a springboard splash for the three count.
Result: AJ Styles Qualifies via Pinfall.

Eric Young
Eric Young was not about to let a golden opportunity pass him by as he showed a new found sense of viciousness as he didn’t hold back and hit anyone that moved. Young stacked up Kazarian and Sabin to hit a Double Death Valley Driver but Shelley was on hand to prevent a follow up pinfall. Shelley hit the sliced bread on Young but then found himself on the wrong end of a Pump Kick by Kazarian. Shelley stumbled backwards and fell out of the ring from the impact. Kazarian turned his attentions to the hurt Young and almost got caught with a small package but kicked out at two. Young hit a short arm clothesline before hitting a Wheel Barrow Neck breaker on Kazarian. Young got back to his feet before getting onto the shoulders of Sabin and getting driven down with the Cradle Shock. Sabin held on and picked up the three count to make himself the number one contender for Slammiversary.
Result: Chris Sabin via Cradle Shock and Pinfall.
Chris Sabin is reluctantly congratulated by Alex Shelley after the match but Shelley then raises Sabin’s arm in victory to end the show.

Team 3D
Beer Money Inc tried a curveball against Team 3D by picking No Limit as their opponents tonight. It didn’t work. Team 3D got past the initial offence burst from No Limit to retake control and show exactly why they are twenty one time world tag team champions. Team 3D got the win when Brother Devon took out Naito with the Saving Grace for the three count.
Result: Team 3D via Pinfall.
Team 3D don’t get to celebrate being named the number one contenders as the tag team champions are right on them. James Storm and Robert Roode come to the ring with steel chairs in hand in a bid to do some serious damage. Roode swings at Devon but misses. Devon then takes out the knee of Roode causing him to drop the chair. Storm isn’t so unlucky as he smashes Brother Ray in the head several times until Devon smashes Storm across the back. Storm and Roode both bail out as their plan didn’t work.
Backstage and we Kurt Angle has just arrived at the arena. Angle is walking with a purpose as the cameraman struggles to keep up with him. After a few seconds Angle stops outside a locker-room and simply looks at the name plate for a few seconds before going in. As the door closes behind him we see he has entered the locker-room of Jeff Jarrett.
Somewhere else backstage Lauren is standing by with Consequences Creed. Lauren condemns Creed for his cheating last week before Creed agrees with her. Lauren seems shocked but Creed goes on to apologize to his partner Jay Lethal. Creed says he regrets having to cheat but he jus wanted to win so badly. Creed finishes the interview by again asking Lethal to forgive him.

Taylor Wilde
Last week Taylor Wilde cost Angelina Love a spot in Queen of the Mountain, this week she looks for payback. Love showed her vicious side as she dominated Taylor early on and several times tried to claw out her eyes but Andrew Thomas was on hand each time to prevent it. Love got into an argument with Thomas which gave Taylor an opening. Taylor took it and looked to have the match won when she hit a bridging German suplex but Velvet Sky timed her distraction perfectly. Taylor broke the hold and swung for Sky who quickly jumped back off the apron. Love rolled up Taylor and thanks to a handful of trunks was able to get the three count.
Result: Angelina Love via Pinfall.
Taylor Wilde is livid and jumps back on Angelina Love and begins to rain in the headshots. Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne try to make the save but the Governor and Sarah Stock have Taylor’s back. All six knockouts continue to trade blows as security once again has to be called in break them up.
We go backstage to the locker-room of Jeff Jarrett where much to everyone’s surprise, they are having a civil conversation. Angle appears to be trying to convince Jarrett not to sell his shares to the mystery investor. Angle says he knows who it is and she has no interest in helping anyone but herself. Jarrett says he doesn’t have a choice as he can no longer afford to run TNA whereas she can. Jarrett suggests Angle puts in a bid if he is that worried about the future of TNA.

Rhino
A big step up in competition level this week for Abyss as Mitchell has lined up the War Machine. Despite the big step up, Abyss doesn’t seem fazed and dominates just like he did last week. Abyss choke slams Rhino before finishing the match with a vicious Black Hole Slam.
Result: Abyss via Pinfall.
After the match, Matt Morgan charges to the ring and smacks Abyss in the back with a steel chair. Abyss stumbles forward before a second shot to the head takes the monster down.
Backstage and the Machine Guns are standing by with Jeremy Borash. Alex Shelley takes the lead and begins by apologizing for his reaction last week. Shelley says he was disappointed that he didn’t win but has since remembered that it didn’t matter if he didn’t get the victory provided Chris Sabin did. Shelley apologizes for not acting like a team player last week and wishes Sabin luck at Slammiversary. Sabin accepts the apology and claims it was understandable for Shelley to react that way. Sabin guarantees a new TNA X-Division champion at Slammiversary.

For Kurt Angle’s in ring return he faces a man he has never met before, let alone faced. From his performance, you’d never know that fact as Angle worked like a well oiled machine as he picked apart the much less experienced Stevens. Result: Kurt Angle via Submission.

Booker T w/ Sharmell and Sting
Matt Morgan must have something on someone backstage as he was already booked in a match for Slammiversary before tonight, a win in this match would cancel his rematch with Abyss in favour of a World title match. Morgan was a desperate man and as a result made several mistakes that someone the calibre of Booker T is going to exploit. Morgan missed the Carbon Footprint three times during the match, each time ending up on the wrong end of a kick by Booker. After the third miss Morgan got a stiff kick to the ribs before Booker hit an Axe Kick for the three count.
Result: Booker T advances via Pinfall.
As soon as the final bell had sounded Sting was in the ring to celebrate with his stable mate. Sting and Booker quickly bailed out of the ring when they saw Abyss coming down the ramp with a barbed wire two by four in his hand. Abyss slides into the ring and introduces the barbed wire to the stomach of Matt Morgan several times before hitting him in the head to not only knock out Morgan but break he two by four in the process. Matt Morgan has found out it’s not a good idea to attack Abyss when you have a match later in the night. Abyss and James Mitchell stand over the fallen Matt Morgan to end the show.

There's not much to say about the actual iMPACTs, especially since a lot of it is qualifying matches, but that's okay because you usually deliver on the PPVs (and Slammiversary is shaping up to be a great show). Good move on Mitchell trying to get Abyss back to his regular self. Can't stand what they've turned him into now. Hoping for a Tanahashi/Mistico in the X Cup final.
