World Championship Wrestling presents Saturday Night 2-26-2000
From: Orlando, FL
Mike Tenay and Scott Hudson welcome everyone to another edition of Saturday Night! Tenay hypes up the show which includes Crowbar in singles action, Hugh Morrus taking on James Storm, Disco Inferno in action, as well as Big Vito taking on Chris Candido. Hudson chimes in and promotes the main event which will see Dustin Rhodes take on Mike Sanders. Tenay sends it over to David Penzer to start the show.
Match #1: Crowbar Vs AJ Styles
Crowbar controls Styles with a spinning heel kick followed by a Northern Lights suplex. Crowbar sends Styles into the ropes and Styles springs off the ropes and takes Crowbar down with a reverse DDT! Styles nearly picks up a huge win. Styles takes Crowbar down and scoop slam and heads to the apron. Styles looks for a connects with a springboard leg drop. Styles pulls Crowbar up but Crowbar takes Styles down with a belly to belly suplex. Crowbar plants Styles with a brain buster for a near fall. Crowbar drapes Styles across the top rope and heads to the top turnbuckle where Crowbar connects with a guillotine leg drop. Crowbar goes for the cover and picks up the win. Winner: Crowbar via pin fall ***

A taped promo with Konnan and Billy Kidman is shown. Kidman and Konnan promote themselves up before getting serious. Konnan reminds Bigelow and Candido that Kidman pinned Bigelow on Nitro. As far as they are concerned that makes them, the number one contenders for the tag team titles. Kidman says come this Monday, they will have a discussion with their “boy” Bischoff.
Match #2: Big Vito Vs Chris Candido
Both men trade plenty of right hands before Vito nails Candido with a savant kick. Candido gets up but is clotheslined over the top to the floor. Vito climbs to the top turnbuckle and leaps off splashing onto Candido on the floor! Vito sends Candido back into the ring and again heads to the top turnbuckle but Candido manages to crotch Vito. Candido takes Vito down with a superplex and gets a near fall. Candido goes to the middle turnbuckle and leaps off looking for a forearm drop but Vito avoids. Candido gets up holding his forearm and walks into Vito going for a double arm DDT. Vito plays to the crowd and this allows Candido to roll Vito up for the win!
Winner: Chris Candido via pin fall ***
After the match, Candido grabs his tag team championship and heads to the back pointing to his head to show his brilliance.

Backstage, Gene is standing with Mike Sanders. Gene brings up Sanders match against Dustin Rhodes later on in the show. Sanders isn’t worried, instead he is confident. Sanders brings up how Rhodes supposedly played a character up north where he was “fruity”. Sanders has it on good sources that Rhodes wasn’t playing a character. Instead, everything you saw in “New York” is the real Dustin Rhodes. Sanders is going to put Rhodes in his place, tonight.
Match #3: Hugh Morrus Vs James Storm
Morrus doesn’t wait for the bell and splashes Storm in the corner. Morrus takes Storm down with a belly to belly suplex as well. Morrus continues the onslaught by leaping off the middle rope connecting with a elbow drop. Morrus takes Storm down with a vertical suplex before heading to the top rope and connecting with the No Laughing Matter for the win. Winner: Hugh Morrus via pin fall **

Back from commercial, Dustin Rhodes is standing with Gene. Gene asks for Rhodes response to what Mike Sanders had to say. Rhodes says that its simple. Sanders is a young brash kid who says stuff to get attention. He says that all of those kids involved with the Natural Born Thrillers are trying to make a name for themselves. Rhodes will prove in just a short time why Mike Sanders will never be on his level.
Match #4: Disco Inferno Vs Kid Romeo
This was just a squash. Romeo came off the top rope but was met with a boot in mid air and Inferno connected with the Chart Buster to pick up the quick win. Winner: Disco Inferno via pin fall **

Match #5: Mike Sanders Vs Dustin Rhodes
Sanders mocks Dustin Rhodes by riding around on a invisible horse. Rhodes chases Sanders around the ring until a hiding Sean O’Haire clotheslines Rhodes on the floor. O’Haire sends Rhodes into the ring and Sanders is very confident. Sanders controls Rhodes with a swinging neck breaker but only gets a near fall. Sanders locks in a abdominal stretch but Rhodes manages to hip toss Sanders over. Rhodes ducks a clothesline and clotheslines Sanders down. Sanders stumbles and walks into a atomic drop. Sanders is hurting and Rhodes comes off the ropes connecting with a running bulldog! Rhodes goes for the cover but Sean O’Haire leaps off the top and connects with the Seanton Bomb. Referee calls for the bell. Winner: Dustin Rhodes via disqualification **½
After the match, O’Haire and Sanders continue their attack on Rhodes. People are wondering where Morrus, Smiley and Sid are at. Well, a camera is sent to the backstage area where Stasiak, Palumbo and Jindrak have barricade their locker room and not allowing them to save Rhodes. Back in the ring, Sanders nails Rhodes with a chair a few times. Sanders and O’Haire taunt Rhodes and crowd before heading to the backstage area.
Mike Tenay and Scott Hudson hype up Nitro before signing off.

World Championship Wrestling presents Nitro 2-28-2000

Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan welcome everyone to Nitro! Schiavone points out that some five years ago WCW Nitro debuted here in Minnesota. With that being said, Tony promotes that fact that tonight’s edition of Nitro will be one not to forget. Tony goes over the show which includes a fatal four way match to crown a number one contender for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship. Heenan ups Tony by mentioning a big tag team match when Booker T teams up with Chris Benoit to take on Mike Awesome and Lance Storm. Tony lastly mentions the main event when Eddie Guerrero, Chris Kanyon and Shane Douglas take on Sting, Diamond Dallas Page and Perry Saturn! Tony sends it over to David Penzer to start the show.
Match #1: Rey Mistero Jr. Vs Psicosis Vs Dean Malenko Vs Kaz Hayashi #1 Contender for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship Elimination Match Elimination #1: Psicosis with a top rope leg drop off the top onto Hayashi for the first elimination. Elimination #2: Rey Mistero Jr. eliminates Psicosis with a springboard hurricanrana. Elimination #3: Mistero and Malenko trade right hands until Malenko knocks Mistero down with a spinning heel kick. Mistero takes Malenko down with a wheelbarrow face buster for a near fall. Mistero springboards off the top rope looking for the hurricanrana but Malenko catches Rey and drives Rey down with a power bomb. Malenko locks in the Texas Cloverleaf and after a few moments, Rey taps out. Winner and #1 Contender to the WCW Cruiserweight Championship: Dean Malenko via submission ****

Back from commercial, WCW Vice President Eric Bischoff comes down to the ring. Bischoff comes down and says that he has some bad news. Bischoff announces that Goldberg will out of a action for three to five months with a severely damaged ankle thanks to Bret Hart. Bischoff also announces that Hulk Hogan will be out for quite sometime with a lower back injury suffered during his match with Mike Awesome at Super Brawl. Bischoff lastly announces that Scott Steiner will be out for a few weeks with a knee injury. The fans slightly cheered that news. Bischoff says that he is done with all this injury talk. He is out here for one reason and one reason only, to make some money. Bischoff says that plenty of people have been talking about the interaction between WCW World Heavyweight Champion Bret Hart and Ric Flair. Bischoff says that it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that the fans want to see Hart versus Flair. So, Bischoff announces he has made a WCW World Heavyweight Championship match with Bret Hart defending the title against….. Ric Flair! The fans love this news, but this news brings out the champion, Bret Hart. Hart steps into the ring and he is shaking his head in disapproval. Hart wants to know who Bischoff thinks he is. Which Bischoff answers as being the man in charge. Hart tells Bischoff that he has a man crush on Flair because he is afraid of being bullied by Flair. Hart tells Bischoff that he needs to be afraid of Bret Hart. Bischoff asks if that is a threat, which Hart says “absolutely it is.” Hart tells Bischoff to cancel the match, but Bischoff refuses. Hart grabs Bischoff and backs him into a corner yelling at him. This is when, Ric Flair runs down and trades punches with Bret Hart until security comes running down. Bischoff bails to the ring as Hart and Flair have to be restrained.

Match #2: Dustin Rhodes/Hugh Morrus Vs Sean O’Haire/Mark Jindrak
Rhodes starts with O’Haire and has the early advantage with a few clotheslines. Rhodes plays to the crowd and is met with a jumping big boot by O’Haire. O’Haire takes Rhodes down with a butterfly suplex as well for a near fall. Jindrak gets the tag and works on Rhodes arm with a axe handle from the top rope. Jindrak takes Rhodes down with a vertical suplex. Jindrak sends Rhodes into the ropes and puts his head down which allows Rhodes to drop to his back and nail Jindrak with a right hand. Rhodes connects with a spine buster before tagging in Morrus. Morrus with several clotheslines on Jindrak and knocks O’Haire off the apron. Morrus avoids a clothesline and takes Jindrak down with a German suplex for a near fall. Morrus comes off the ropes but O’Haire delivers a knee to Morrus’s back. Rhodes drops form the apron and brawls with O’Haire on the floor. Morrus staggers over to Jindrak who connects with a military press slam into a power slam for the win. Winners: Mark Jindrak and Sean O’Haire via pin fall **½
After the match, O’Haire sends Rhodes into the ring steps and taunts the crowd before leaving with Jindrak.
Backstage, Gene is standing with Raven. Gene asks Raven where along with Vampiro and Crowbar did they take Buff Bagwell. Raven tells Gene that he took “Marcus” to an area where he needs to learn to embrace the dark side. Raven says that until they are able to convert Bagwell, he will not be seen by WCW fans. Gene is confused as Raven slowly heads to the ring.

Match #3: Raven Vs Johnny The Bull
Bull with the offense early on taking Raven down with a power slam. Raven rolls to the floor but Bull leaps off the apron and connects with a somersault splash. Bull sends Raven back into the ring heads to the top turnbuckle and leaps off connecting with a knee drop for a near fall. Bull sends Raven into a corner and charges but Raven manages to drop toe hold Bull head first into the middle turnbuckle. Raven takes Bull down with a side Russian leg sweep and finishes Bull off with a Evenflow DDT for the win. Winner: Raven via pin fall **½

Diamond Dallas Page comes to the ring without any music and demands that Chris Kanyon comes down to the ring. After a few moments, Kanyon comes to the ring with camera crew with a dark lighting showing the drama of the scene, according to him. Kanyon has Joey Matthews and plenty of security. Kanyon doesn’t enter the ring but he has a microphone. Kanyon first wants to thank Kimberly Page for being a wonderful co-star. That comment pisses Page off. Kanyon said that without Kimberly his film wouldn’t be complete. However, Kanyon understands that Page is pissed off. Kanyon feels that Page should know something. This whole thing was set up by his good friend who wants credit for it. Page wants to know. Kanyon points to the jumbo tron and its Shane Douglas and Tylene Buck and it appears they are right in front of Page’s locker room. The camera turns around where Bigelow and Candido have nailed all the security guards with lead pipes. Douglas tells Page that he thought this was over, but its far from being over. Douglas tells DDP that he may be going after championship gold against Saturn but he is going after DDP’s prize possession, his wife. Douglas kicks open the locker room door but SATURN is in the locker room and nails Douglas with a chair. Page leaps out of the ring and brawls with Kanyon and all of his goons as WCW goes to commercial

Back from commercial, we see video that Page got to the backstage area in time and along with Saturn fought off the Triple Threat.
Match #4: Booker T/Chris Benoit Vs Mike Awesome/Lance Storm
Booker and Storm start the match and Booker takes Storm down with a leaping side kick early on. Storm stops the momentum with a jaw breaker followed by a exploder suplex. Storm takes Booker down with a vertical suplex and comes off the ropes connecting with a back splash for a near fall. Storm tags in Awesome who takes Booker down with a top rope shoulder block. Awesome sends Booker into the ropes and Booker plants Awesome with a float over DDT! Booker tags in Benoit who enters and delivers several chops on Awesome. Benoit sends Awesome into the ropes and connects with a clothesline. Benoit ducks a clothesline and connects with two German suplex’s and goes for a third one but Awesome blocks and takes Benoit over with a overhead belly to belly suplex for a near fall. Awesome tags in Storm who takes Benoit down with a back suplex. Storm sets up for and connects with a gut wrench slam for a near fall. Storm attempts a spring board back elbow but Benoit catches Storm and takes Storm down with a full nelson suplex! Benoit makes the tag to Booker who leaps off the top and connects with a missile dropkick on Storm! Booker goes for the cover but Awesome enters and nails Booker with Jimmy Hart’s megaphone causing a clear disqualification.
Winners: Booker T and Chris Benoit via disqualification ***½
After the match, Jimmy Hart send a chair into the ring as Awesome attempts a power bomb on Booker. However, Booker slides off Awesome’s back and nails Awesome with the chair as Storm is sent to the floor by Benoit. Awesome drops to the floor as Benoit and Booker stand tall in the ring.
Backstage, Gene is standing with Mike Sanders and Chuck Palumbo. Sanders doesn’t allow Gene to ask a question and begins to cut a promo directed towards Sid. Sanders says its good to see Sid has some backup. However, its too bad that their isn’t enough backup in the world from the Natural Born Thrillers from taking Sid out and all of his goons. Sanders says Sid better be ready for the fight of his life.

Match #5: Sid Vs Chuck Palumbo
Sid works on Palumbo early and often. Sid with several right hands in the corner before connecting with a side slam. Sid pulls Palumbo up and scoop slams Palumbo back down. Sid avoids a clothesline takes Palumbo over with a back suplex. Palumbo manages to sneak a low blow thanks to Mike Sanders distracting the referee. Palumbo power slams Sid down and goes for a cover but Sid powers out. Palumbo sets up for a super kick and Sid blocks the kick, spins Palumbo around and plants him with a choke slam! Sid decides to pull Palumbo up and connects with a sickening power bomb. Sid goes for the cover and picsk up the win. Winner: Sid via pin fall *½
After the match, Sid tries to go after Mike Sanders who tries to run away but Rhodes, Morrus and Smiley cut him off. Sanders is screaming for the rest of his guys but Rhodes points to the titan tron and it is shown that the Natural Born Thrillers locker room door has been barricaded. Sanders knows he is screwed. Sid grabs Sanders and sends Sanders into the ring and Sanders is begging for Sid not to do anything. Sid acts like he is going to let Sanders go but instead decides to go for the choke slam. However, Palumbo rolls in and chop blocks Sid’s leg. Palumbo grabs Sanders and they escape through the crowd.

Match #6: Sting, Diamond Dallas Page and Perry Saturn Vs Chris Kanyon, Eddie Guerrero and Shane Douglas
All six men brawl around ringside as the referee is unable to get control of the bout. Sting misses a Stinger Splash on Guerrero and his the guard railing. Guerrero suplex’s Sting on the floor. Page sends Kanyon over the guard railing and leaps over the guard railing continuing to rain in right hands and delivering chair shots. In the ring, Douglas is working on Saturn until Saturn takes Douglas down with a belly to belly suplex. Eventually, order is restored. Page works on Douglas in the ring connecting with a spinning power bomb to nearly pick up a win. Douglas takes Page down with a high knee lift. Douglas tags in Kanyon who works on Page in the corner before taking Page down with a swinging neck breaker. Kanyon sends Page into the ropes but Page takes Kanyon down with a jumping double arm DDT! Page makes the tag to Sting and Kanyon tags in Guerrero and they trade right hands. Sting sends Guerrero into the ropes and connects with a running one arm face buster. Sting backs Guerrero into a corner and goes for the Stinger Splash and connects. Guerrero stumbles out and Sting goes for the Scorpion Death Drop but Guerrero delivers a knee to Sting’s face. Guerrero plants Sting with a brain buster and heads to the top rope looking for the frog splash but Saturn enters the ring, runs up the ropes and takes Guerrero down with a over head suplex! Moments later, Saturn and Douglas get the tag and all six men decide to have an all out brawl. Saturn with a slingshot splash onto Kanyon and Guerrero on the floor as Sting and Page work on them on the floor. Saturn rolls into the ring and is met with a chain shot from Douglas. Douglas connects with the Pittsburgh Plunge. Douglas goes for the cover and picks up the win as Sting and Page enter the ring. Winners: Eddie Guerrero, Chris Kanyon and Shane Douglas via pin fall ***¾
After the match, Bam-Bam Bigelow and Chris Candido head down to the ring and begin to help Guerrero, Kanyon and Douglas beat up on Sting, Page and Saturn. Konnan and Kidman run down but a few moments they are taken care of. Kimberly Page decides to run down to the ring and beg for Douglas and the rest of the guys to stop. Which they do, but only to TAKE Kimberly. Kimberly is trying to kick and scratch her away out of Douglas’s arms but Douglas gives her to Kanyon’s security and they bring her to Kanyon’s mobile home and they drive off. That’s the last scene of Nitro as Kimberly is trying to still escape as Douglas is heard in the background laughing as the baby faces are unable to do anything.

World Championship Wrestling presents Thunder 3-2-2000

Mike Tenay and Bobby Heenan welcome everyone to this edition WCW Thunder. Tenay briefly promotes the show that includes, The Mamalukes taking on Vampiro and Crowbar, Rick Steiner taking on Booker T, Diamond Dallas Page taking on Lord Steven Regal and much more. Heenan says that he has a inside source that tells him that Jeff Jarrett will be on tonight’s show. Tenay doesn’t believe Heenan as he sends it over to David Penzer to start the show.
Match #1: Kaz Hayashi Vs Shane Helms
Kaz with the early advantage taking Helms down with a snap mare and dropkicks Helms on the back. Kaz continues his offense with a scoop slam followed by a slingshot splash from the apron for a near fall. Helms takes control with a sleeper hold slam. Helms plants Hayashi with a brain buster before leaping off the middle turnbuckle connecting with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Hayashi comes back with a gut wrench sit down power bomb to nearly pick up a win. Helms avoids a moonsault and connects with the Verterbreaker for the impressive win.
Winner: Shane Helms via pin fall ****

After a few moments, Jeff Jarrett’s music hits and Heenan begins to rip on Tenay telling him he said Jarrett would be here. Jarrett comes down to the ring with guitar in hand and has a smile on his face. Jarrett has some big news for all the hicks in North Dakota. Jarrett announces that tonight he will regain his WCW United States Championship as he will be using his rematch clause. The crowd likes the sound of that. Jarrett continues saying that he will prove to that “hardcore flip flopping slap nut” Rob Van Dam that he is better than RVD and will become a champion while RVD will be a dope smoking *****. Jarrett taunts the crowd while signaling that the US Championship will be his by the end of the night.

Match #2: Vampiro/Crowbar Vs The Mamalukes
All four men throw out the rules and brawl around ringside. Vampiro drops Vito across the guard railing and Crowbar splashes Bull off the apron. Vito takes Vampiro down with a double under hook suplex on the floor. Crowbar sends Bull over the guard railing into the crowd. Crowbar leaps over the railing but Bull catches Crowbar and slams Crowbar down on the floor! The referee is trying to gain control but Vampiro and Vito send the referee into the ring steps. Several referees come down and separate all four men and throw out the match.
Winners: No Contest **½

Backstage, Gene is standing with Raven. Gene would like to know what Raven has done to Buff Bagwell, where has he taken Bagwell. Raven tells Gene, just like he did on Nitro, that Bagwell will return when he and his misfits bring out the evil of Marcus. Raven says everyone has evil inside them and that Bagwell will embrace his evil side and join his misfits.
Match #3: Rick Steiner Vs Booker T
Steiner and Booker trade a series of right hands until Booker ducks a clothesline and takes Steiner down with a leaping side kick. Booker sends Steiner into the ropes and connects with a power slam. Steiner comes back with a belly to belly suplex. Steiner takes control with a overhead suplex for a near fall. Booker takes Steiner down with a short arm clothesline. Booker sends Steiner into the ropes and connects with a spine buster. Booker comes off the ropes and connects with a scissors kick to pick up the win. Winner: Booker T via pin fall **½

Diamond Dallas Page heads down to the ring and he is none to happy. Page is clearly upset and has not been getting much if any sleep. Page has is attention on both Chris Kanyon and Shane Douglas who have managed to take his wife, Kimberly. Page insults Douglas’s woman, or as Page called her a “slut” in Tylene Buck. “You want to talk about a walking STD, look at that slut Tylene Buck.” Page tells Douglas and Kanyon that he will get his hands on them and he will get his wife back. He doesn’t care what he has to do, he will do it. “Douglas, Kanyon you have taken this to a level where I am not going out here to hurt you, oh no, you have taken this to a level where I am going to end your life. You both will regret ever taking my wife.” Page heads to the backstage area as the crowd cheers him on.

Match #4: Disco Inferno Vs Lash LeRoux
LeRoux takes Inferno down with a inverted vertical suplex with Inferno landing on his stomach. LeRoux sends Inferno to the floor with a dropkick. LeRoux takes Inferno down with a cross body off the top turnbuckle to the floor. LeRoux sends Inferno back into the ring and climbs to the top rope but Inferno crotches LeRoux on the top turnbuckle. Inferno connects with a superplex for a near fall. Inferno comes off the ropes looking for a swinging neck breaker but LeRoux blocks and connects with a sit out slam for a near fall. LeRoux goes for the Whiplash 00’ but Inferno blocks and connects with the Chart Buster for the win. Winner: Disco Inferno via pin fall ***

Backstage, Rob Van Dam is standing with Gene. Van Dam tells Gene that he is going to be on commentary supporting Jarrett tonight. Gene wants to know why. Van Dam says “that way I can kick Jarrett’s ass at Uncensored and become the WCW United States Champion. I’ll show the world that I am the whole ****ing show!”.
Match #5: Diamond Dallas Page Vs Lord Steven Regal
Page doesn’t wait for the bell and simply goes nuts on Regal. Page with several right hands in the corner. Page connects with a hip toss into a backbreaker and takes Regal down with a discus clothesline. Regal gets in some offense including a butterfly suplex but Page is just on a mission. Page plants Regal with a float over DDT before connecting with the Diamond Cutter for the win. Winner: Diamond Dallas Page via pin fall **½
After the match, Page taunts the camera and tells Douglas and Kanyon to watch out. He tells Kimberly he is coming for her.

World Championship Wrestling presents Saturday Night 3-4-2000

Mike Tenay and Scott Hudson welcome everyone to WCW Saturday Night. Tenay promotes Uncensored which is on the 19th. Hudson hypes up the show that includes Juventud Guerrera, Bigelow/Candido, Norman Smiley versus Mike Sanders, Saturn defending the WCW Television Championship against former champion Rick Steiner and Booker T taking on Chuck Palumbo in the main event. Tenay puts over that tonight’s show should be a enjoyable one. Tenay sends it over to David Penzer to start the show.
Match #1: Juventud Guerrera Vs Elik Skipper Non-Title
A great athletic showing here by Skipper taking on the Cruiserweight Champion. Skipper springs off the middle rope and takes Juvi down with a German suplex for a near fall. Juvi takes control with a wheelbarrow bulldog for a near fall of his own. Skipper blocks a tornado DDT and takes Juvi down with a Northern Lights suplex. Skipper lifts Juvi into the air but Juvi comes back down connecting with a hurricanrana for a near fall! Skipper avoids a diving attack in the corner and connects with a gut wrench slam. Skipper places Juvi on the top turnbuckle and begins to walk the ropes looking for a hurricanrana. However, Juvi blocks the move and connects with a power bomb. Juvi heads to the top rope and finishes Skipper off with the 450 splash. Winner: Juventud Guerrera via pin fall ***¼

Backstage, Gene is standing the brash Mike Sanders. Gene asks for Sanders thoughts on his match with Norman Smiley in a few moments. Sanders first brings up last week. Sanders says he had that “crooked cowboy” Dustin Rhodes down for the count but Sean O’Haire sensed Rhodes was cheating and jumped in for the save, its that simple. Back to his match with Smiley. Sanders says that Norman Smiley better do the big wiggle with Rhodes, since he knows Rhodes will enjoy it. Because, later tonight the only person who will be enjoying the match, will be Mike Sanders. Sanders does a few air jabs before heading off.
Match #2: Bam-Bam Bigelow/Chris Candido Vs Lash LeRoux/Shannon Moore Non-Title
Bigelow and Candido control the match from the start. Bigelow takes Moore down with a big power slam followed by a standing head butt. Candido controls Moore with a back suplex and a tilt a whirl backbreaker. Moore manages to avoid a clothesline and take Candido down with a spinning heel kick. LeRoux gets the tag and takes Candido down with a missile dropkick. LeRoux goes for a vertical suplex but Candido reverses into a reverse neck breaker. Candido knocks Moore off the apron and tags in Bigelow who leaps off the top connecting with a flying head butt for the win. Winners: Bam-Bam Bigelow and Chris Candido via pin fall **¼

A familiar beginning to a video begins, and it is Shane Douglas standing outside a hotel room. Douglas tells DDP that he told Page that he was going to continue his series of videos and this video will be the best of all time. Douglas brings the camera into the room and there is Kimberly with Tylene Buck sitting on the bed. Buck is stroking Kimberly’s hair. Kimberly appears to be terribly upset. Douglas is heard saying that you are looking at your biggest stars, Kimberly and Tylene. Douglas spins the camera around and says “It’s time to get FRANCHISED!!!” Douglas places the camera down and begins to laugh as the scene ends.
Match #3: Norman Smiley Vs Mike Sanders
Smiley with several rights and lefts to take Sanders down early on. Smiley continues the offense with a back drop and backs Sanders into a corner. Smiley takes Sanders down with a snap suplex for a near fall. Sanders gets up and staggers into another corner. Smiley charges but Sanders gets his feet up. Sanders leaps off the middle turnbuckle and connects with a bulldog for a near fall. Sanders with a jaw breaker and a clothesline off the ropes. Sanders begins to play to the crowd which allows Smiley to get up. Sanders turns around and walks into a belly to belly suplex. Smiley does the Big Wiggle and Sanders grabs the referee for distraction and low blows Smiley. Smiley drops to his knees and Sanders connects with the 3.0. Sanders goes for the cover and picks up the win. Winner: Mike Sanders via pin fall **¾
After the match, Sanders heads up the aisle way taunting Norman Smiley as Smiley is in the ring with a dejected look on his face.
Glad you're going to continue this. I like the shows you posted today and the results for pretty much all matches are satisfying. Glad Benoit retained the United States Championship. Hopefully you eventually move him up into the world title scene. Anyways, keep up the good work and whatnot!

I really want to get into this as I think you have a great concept that nobody else is using. The problem is, it's really hard to follow all your shows. If it was just Nitro or something it'd be 200% easier to follow.

Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan welcome everyone to Nitro. They quickly mention that Uncensored is less than two weeks away. Tony hypes up the show which includes Bret Hart and Ric Flair choosing the others opponent for later on in the show. Heenan wonders who they will choose and is anxious to find out. Tony proceeds to promote the matches that are known for the show. Some of the matches include Eddie Guerrero taking on his good friend Rey Mistero Jr. Heenan mentions that Diamond Dallas Page will be in action taking on Chris Kanyon’s co-star, Joey Matthews. Tony finishes off by mentioning that Nitro will start off with a huge six man tag team match with Rob Van Dam, Billy Kidman and Konnan taking on Jeff Jarrett, Bam-Bam Bigelow and Chris Candido. Tony sends it over to David Penzer to start the show!
Match #1: Rob Van Dam/Billy Kidman/Konnan Vs Jeff Jarrett/Bam-Bam Bigelow/Chris Candido
Jarrett and company work on Kidman early on. Jarrett’s offense consists of a delayed vertical suplex and a neck breaker. Candido gets in on the act with a top rope hurricanrana. Bigelow enters but misses a flying head butt. Kidman tags in RVD after a spinning heel kick. RVD takes Bigelow down with a leaping side kick. RVD knocks Jarrett off the apron but is taken down with a back suplex by Bigelow. Candido enters again and connects with a gut wrench slam for a near fall. Candido plants RVD with a jumping DDT before tagging in Jarrett. Jarrett sends RVD into a corner but RVD comes running out and takes Jarrett down with a clothesline. Jarrett rolls to the floor but RVD connects with a slingshot splash to the floor! RVD sends Jarrett back into the ring and connects with rolling thunder for a near fall. Jarrett rolls to his corner and tags in Bigelow. Konnan wants the tag and gets it as well. Konnan trades right hands with Bigelow. Konnan sends Bigelow into the ropes and connects with a rolling clothesline. Konnan plays to the crowd and allows Bigelow to chop block Konnan’s knee. After a few more moments of action, all six men are brawling around the ring. Jarrett and Kidman are in the ring. Kidman has Jarrett down on the mat and heads to the top looking for the shooting star press. Kidman leaps off but Jarrett moves and Kidman hits nothing but canvas. Jarrett quickly grabs Kidman and connects with the Stroke for the win. Winners: Jeff Jarrett, Chris Candido and Bam-Bam Bigelow via pin fall ***¼
After the match, RVD rolls in and checks on Kidman as Jarrett taunts RVD.

After the break, Ric Flair’s music hits and comes down to a thunderous ovation. The crowd is going crazy for Flair as he is in “Flair Country”. Flair waits for the crowd to settle down before talking. Flair brings up WCW Uncensored that is thirteen days away. Flair brings up that it has been nearly a year since he has been given the chance to go after the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and after Uncensored, it could be is last. Flair brings up how people continue to tell him to walk away from the sport, but he will not do it. “Your going to have to kill me, for me to retire.” Flair has always heard people compare Bret Hart to Ric Flair, but they always bring up how Bret beat Flair some eight years ago for the WWF Championship. Flair never got a shot to beat Bret. Flair continues and mentions WCW Souled Out 1998, where he lost to Bret again. Flair says the third time will be the charm. “I’m going to walk down that aisle, beat the living **** out of Hitman and reclaim my rightful championship belt.. WOOOO”. Right after that comment, Bret Hart’s music hits and Hart walks down the aisle with the WCW Championship over his shoulder with a smirk on his face. Hart enters the ring as Flair takes of his jacket. Hart tells Flair to calm down “you don’t want to do anything you will regret.” Hart tells Flair that when it mattered the most, you were never able to beat me, and you never will. “You Ric, your time has past you by. This isn’t the 1980’s, I’m not Harley Race, Ronnie Garvin, or Dusty Rhodes. I am the best. You simply can’t beat the best.” Hart turns to the “pick your poison” match for both men. Hart continues “you know something Ric, I just so happen to have the PERFECT opponent for you tonight.” Just at that moment, some familiar music hits and Curt Hennig appears on the aisle way with a smirk on his face. Flair seems to like it, that he is facing Hennig. Flair begins to speak. “Good one Bret, but I just so happen to have found someone that has given you a run for your money numerous times. I have no doubt that tonight he will beat you!” Flair points out into the crowd and Chris Benoit is seen holding his WCW United States Championship. Bret doesn’t seem to enjoy that too much. Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan promote Hennig versus Flair and Benoit versus Hart, later tonight!

Match #2: Big Vito Vs Vampiro
Vito with a running clothesline in the corner followed by a running bulldog for a near fall. Vampiro comes back with a middle rope spinning heel kick for a near fall of his own. Vampiro continues his offense with a spinning back suplex. Vampiro sends Vito to the floor and scoop slams Vito on the floor. Vampiro goes to the middle turnbuckle and leaps off looking for a splash but Vito moves and Vampiro hit’s the floor hard. Vito sends Vampiro back first into the guard railing followed by a back drop onto the floor. Vito sends Vampiro over the railing and they brawl in the crowd and to the back. The referee counts them out. Winner: Double count-out **½
Both men continue to brawl backstage where Crowbar and Johnny the Bull get involved until security run over and break things up.

Match #3: Diamond Dallas Page Vs Joey Matthews
Matthews is in the ring ripping on DDP and calling him “an emotional has been.” That’s when Page comes running down to the ring and grabs Matthews before he can escape. Page nails Matthews with a discus clothesline followed by a spinning gut wrench sit down power bomb. Page is fuming. Matthews is trying to beg Page but Page is having none of it. Page plants Matthews with a DDT before placing Matthews on the top turnbuckle and connecting with a sick Diamond Cutter. Page goes for the cover and picks up the win. Winners: Diamond Dallas Page via pin fall **¼
After the match, Page nails Matthews with another Diamond Cutter before grabbing a steel chair. Page also has a microphone. Page speaks in a very low voice. “Douglas, Kanyon, you bastards. You have my wife. You took her right over by body.” Page delivers a sickening chair shot to Matthews midsection. Page continues. “ Kanyon, you were my friend. Now, your with that piece of **** Shane Douglas.” Page delivers another shot to Matthews midsection. Page continues “Kanyon you want to ruin my emotional state. Then I’m going to ruin your life, and get my wife back.” Page delivers several more shots to the midsection of Matthews. Page finishes off looking right at the camera with a serious look. “Kanyon, I’ll see you at Uncensored!” Page delivers one last shot to Matthews midsection before leaving through the crowd.

Backstage, Gene is standing with Mike Awesome and Jimmy Hart. Hart has his attention on Booker T. Hart promotes Mike Awesome and the guys he has taken out. Which include, The Cat, Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan. Hart warns Booker T that he is getting involved with a man that no man can control. Hart proclaims that after Uncensored, Booker T’s once bright future will be become and dark past.
Match #4: Rey Mistero Jr. Vs Eddie Guerrero
Rey wants to shake hands but Guerrero mauls Rey with several rights and lefts. Guerrero connects with a tilt a whirl back breaker and places Rey in a surfboard submission but Rey doesn’t give up. Rey comes back taking Eddie down with a springboard tornado DDT! Guerrero fights back with a brain buster. Guerrero scoop slams Rey down and goes to the apron connecting with a slingshot senton splash for another near fall. Guerrero sends Rey into the ropes and Rey takes Guerrero down with a wheelbarrow face buster for a near fall. Rey goes to the apron and connects with a springboard head scissors take down. Rey goes for the cover but Guerrero kicks out. Rey springboards off the middle rope and connects with a leg drop for a another near fall. Rey comes off the ropes and is lifted into the air by Guerrero and dropped gut first to the mat. Guerrero connects with three snap suplex’s before a modified double under hook suplex. Guerrero heads to the top turnbuckle for the frog splash but Rey cuts Guerrero off and goes for a top rope hurricanrana but Guerrero shoves Rey off and connects with a frog splash for the win. Winner: Eddie Guerrero via pin fall ****¼
After the match, Guerrero plays to the crowd as Rey rolls to the floor. That is until Eric Bischoff’s music hits and Guerrero knows something is up. Bischoff begins to speak “So, Eddie I hear that you are refusing to give Sting a rematch from Super Brawl.” Guerrero has a smirk on his face and nods. Bischoff continues “Well, I’m glad your happy. Because, I got some news for you. I suppose you forgot that you don’t make the matches here in WCW.” Guerrero has a concerned look. Bischoff continues “ You see Guerrero, the disrespect you showed Sting at Super Brawl is something I’m not going to let slide. So, in the interest of fairness at WCW Uncensored on the 19th, it will be Eddie Guerrero taking on Sting.” Guerrero flips out as Sting comes down from the ceiling with a baseball bat. Guerrero leaves the ring as Sting stands on the middle turnbuckle playing to the crowd

Match #5: Ric Flair Vs Curt Hennig
Mat wrestling start to the match. Hennig with a rolling neck breaker to control Flair. Hennig with a clothesline before sending Flair into the corner where Flair does the flip. Flair runs up the top turnbuckle looking for a double axe handle but Hennig slams Flair off. Hennig controls Flair with several right hands in the corner. Flair reverses positions and delivers several chops. Flair works on Hennig’s right leg with a knee breaker. Flair goes for the figure four but Hennig kicks Flair off and Flair goes chest first into the turnbuckle. Flair comes out of the corner and Hennig connects with a back suplex. Hennig attempts the Hennig Plex but Flair blocks the move and takes Hennig down with a back suplex. Flair comes off the ropes and drops a knee. Flair grabs Hennig and connects with a delayed vertical suplex. Flair struts as the crowd goes nuts. Hennig gets up but Flair chop blocks the right leg of Hennig. Flair locks in the figure four and after a few moments, Hennig is forced to tap out. Winner: Ric Flair via submission **¾
After the match, Flair celebrates with the crowd, who are going nuts for Flair.

Match #6: Bret Hart Vs Chris Benoit Non-Title
Benoit backs Hart into a corner and trades right hands with Hart. Hart with an eye rake followed by a side Russian leg sweep. Hart sends Benoit into the ropes and connects with a dropkick. Benoit falls through the middle rope to the floor. Hart follows and rams Benoit head first into the ring steps. Hart sends Benoit back first into the guard railing before sending Benoit into the ring. Hart rolls in as well and comes off the ropes but is met with a clothesline from Benoit. Benoit ducks Hart’s clothesline attempt and takes Hart down with a couple of German suplex’s. Hart rolls to a corner and Benoit delivers with ten punches before Hart drops Benoit face first on the top turnbuckle. Hart goes behind Benoit and connects with a German suplex of his own. Hart goes to the middle turnbuckle and leaps off connecting with forearm drop. Benoit is hunched over and Hart connects with a running bulldog. Hart goes to Benoit’s legs and looks for the sharp shooter but Benoit rolls Hart up and nearly picks up the win. Benoit gets to his feet and connects with a overhead belly to belly suplex. Benoit connects with a full nelson suplex as well and heads to the top rope. Benoit signals for the flying head butt, however Lance Storm comes running down and nails Benoit with the Canadian flag! The referee calls for the bell. Winner: Chris Benoit via disqualification ****
After the match, Storm delivers several shots with the flag until Hart gets up. Hart locks in the sharpshooter as Storm locks in the cross face. Benoit is hurting. That is until Ric Flair comes running down with a steel chair and nails Storm but Hart manages to the leave the ring. Flair checks on Benoit as Hart heads up the aisle holding his WCW World Heavyweight Championship in the air.

World Championship Wrestling presents Thunder 3-9-2000

Mike Tenay and Bobby Heenan welcome everyone to this weeks edition of WCW Thunder. Tenay mentions that on tonight’s show we will see Dean Malenko taking on Shannon Moore, the Perfect Event taking on Hugh Morrus and Norman Smiley, Sting takes on Meng and Bam-Bam Bigelow/Chris Candido will defend the WCW World Tag Team Championships against a mystery tag team. Heenan wants Tenay to tell him, but Tenay honestly doesn’t know who it is. Heenan sends “Woody” to go out and find out the tag team. Tenay sends it over to David Penzer to start the show.
Match #1: Elik Skipper Vs Blitzkrieg
Skipper takes Krieg down with a full nelson back breaker for a near fall early on. Krieg takes Skipper down with a handspring back elbow. Krieg with a sit out slam for a near fall of his own. Skipper crotches Krieg on the top rope and goes for a hurricanrana but Krieg shoves Skipper off. Krieg gains his footing on the top rope and connects with a moonsault for the win. Winner: Blitzkrieg via pin fall ***

Back from commercial, Kevin Nash’s music hits and this shocks Tenay and Heenan. Kevin Nash comes down to the ring slowly and has a serious look on his face. Nash does his Wolfpac taunt before grabbing the microphone. Nash mentions how people have been reporting that he is going to be retiring. Nash puts his head down for a few moments before raising his head up and has a smirk on his face. Nash says that he isn’t retiring, not when he is getting paid six figures. Nash says that he is going to be changing the direction of his career. He says he is putting his singles career on hold and instead will be focusing on tag team competition with his long time friend, Scott Hall. This cues Scott Hall’s music who appears to be really happy by the news. Hall enters the ring and hugs Nash and does his survey with the crowd. Hall asks Nash if the Outsiders are the mystery team that are getting a tag team title shot. Nash shrugs as if he doesn’t know. Hall gets the hint that they are but he wants to hear it from Nash. After a brief delay, Nash decides to finally spill the beans and nods. Hall is pumped and finishes the segment off by saying “The Outsiders will be the NEW WCW World Tag Team Champions”. Nash and Hall head to the back planning for the match.

Match #2: Dean Malenko Vs Shannon Moore
Moore with a flying head scissors that takes Malenko to the floor. Moore heads to the top rope and leaps off connecting with a cross body. Moore sends Malenko back into the ring and decides to play to the crowd on the apron. Malenko gets up and drops Moore across the top rope. Malenko suplex’s Moore back into the ring. Malenko connects with a backbreaker for a near fall. Moore takes Malenko down with a back suplex and heads to the to top rope. Malenko crotches Moore on the top and connects with a middle rope gut buster! Malenko plants Moore with a power bomb and locks in the cloverleaf and Moore is forced to tap out. Winner: Dean Malenko via submission ***
After the match, Malenko signals that he will win the WCW Cruiserweight Championship at Uncensored
Backstage, Gene is standing with Booker T. Gene asks for Booker’s thoughts on Mike Awesome. Booker tells Awesome that he isn’t a guy that is past his prime like Randy Savage or Hulk Hogan. Booker says that he is still in the beginning of his prime. He tells Awesome that come WCW Uncensored he will find out that Booker T is not a push over. “I’ll see you at Uncensored, sucka.”

Match #3: Hugh Morrus/Norman Smiley Vs Perfect Event
Stasiak with a snap power slam on Smiley for a near fall. Smiley with a elevate leg trap DDT on Stasiak for a near fall of his own. Morrus gets the tag and delivers a series of stiff shots to Stasiak midsection. Stasiak comes back with a whiplash slam. Stasiak tags in Palumbo who connects with a leaping big boot. Palumbo with a butter fly suplex on Morrus and mounts Morrus delivering several right hands. Palumbo gets up and taunts the crowd and this allows Morrus to get up. Palumbo turns around right into a spine buster by Morrus. Morrus heads to the top rope as Jindrak and Sanders come down to the ring. Jindrak distracts the referee as Sanders shakes the ropes and Morrus drops to the mat head first. Smiley chases after Sanders and is clotheslined by Jindrak on the floor. Stasiak gets the tag and plants Morrus with a pile driver for the win. Winners: Perfect Event via pin fall **½
The Natural Born Thrillers continue to attack Smiley and Morrus until Dustin Rhodes comes running down and after a brief amount of offense, he is controlled. After a few moments, Sid Vicious music hits and the crowd goes crazy. Sid enters the ring and choke slams Jindrak and Palumbo. Sid points at Sanders and Sanders bails from the ring and runs away and Sid chases until a fan hits Sid with a chair, it’s Sean O’Haire! O’Haire works on Sid briefly before grabbing his partners. Mike Sanders has a smirk on his face as the Thrillers head to the back.

Match #4: Sting Vs Meng
Meng controls Sting early on with a savant kick and a Samoan Drop. Sting fights back with a one arm bulldog. Sting sends Meng to a corner and charges connecting with a Stinger Splash. Sting goes for the Scorpion Death Drop but Meng backs Sting into a corner. Meng delivers a series of thrusts and sends Sting across the ring. Sting leaps off the middle turnbuckle and connects with a cross body onto Meng for a near fall. Sting connects with the Scorpion Death Drop for the win.
Winner: Sting via pin fall **
After the match, Sting makes it known he is looking forward to meeting Guerrero at Uncensored

Hudson chimes in by promoting the main event that is a six man tag team match when The Natural Born Thrillers take on Sid, Dustin Rhodes and Hugh Morrus. They also plug Uncensored that is eight days away live on PPV. Tenay sends it over to David Penzer to start the show.
Match #1: Billy Kidman Vs Kid Romeo
Tilt a whirl back breaker by Romeo early on but Romeo appears to be more focused on showcasing his body to the females in the crowd. Kidman plants Romeo with a springboard bulldog before finishing Romeo off with the shooting star press. Winner: Billy Kidman via pin fall ***

Backstage, Gene is with Sid, Dustin and Hugh Morrus. Gene asks Sid for his thoughts on the Natural Born Thrillers. Sid warns the Thrillers, and more specifically, Mike Sanders that they better be ready for a beating later tonight. Rhodes puts over the fact how they have worked too hard to make a successful living to allow young, cocky pieces of scum like the Thrillers take them out. Morrus finishes the segment off saying that he will beat respect into them.
Match #2: La Parka Vs Mike Sanders
Sanders wants the referee to check Parka’s mask and as the referee goes to do it, Sanders attacks Parka. Sanders controls Parka with a swinging neck breaker for a near fall. Parka battles back taking Sanders down with a tilt a whirl slam. Parka misses a dive off the top to the floor and Sanders DDT’s Parka on the floor. Backstage, Gene is standing with the young winless Chris Harris. Harris knows that with hard work and determination he will be able to get on a winning streak. He says that Fit Finlay better not expect their match to be an easy win because Harris is determined to win here in WCW.
Match #3: Fit Finlay Vs Chris Harris
Harris uses his speed to knock Finlay down with a series of clotheslines. Finlay catches Harris coming off the ropes and connects with a power slam. Finlay controls Harris with a rolling fireman’s carry. Harris takes Finlay down with a spear and attempts a top rope cross body but Finlay catches Harris and spikes Harris with a tombstone pile driver for the win. Winner: Fit Finlay via pin fall **

Match #5: Natural Born Thrillers Vs Sid/Dustin Rhodes/Hugh Morrus
The referee attempted to get control of the match, but it simply wasn’t going to happen. Sid works on O’Haire in the corner. Palumbo and Morrus are brawling on the floor while Rhodes and Jindrak are brawling on the aisle way. The Thrillers gain control early and often mainly triple teaming Sid. Morrus and Rhodes would fight back but the Thrillers would control them. Sid makes a come back and takes all three men down with right hands. Sid sends Jindrak and O’Haire over the top to the floor. Palumbo tries to attack Sid but Sid takes Palumbo down with a big boot. Rhodes comes off the ropes and takes Palumbo down with a running bulldog. Rhodes proceeds to take O’Haire and Jindrak down with a dive on the floor. Morrus heads to the top rope and connects with the No Laughing Matter on Palumbo. Morrus feeds Palumbo to Sid and Sid plants Palumbo with the power bomb for the win.

After the match, Mike Sanders comes down to the ring and helps the Thrillers to the back as the baby face taunt Sanders with Sid proclaiming he will get his hands on Sanders.
