Lost Presents
WWE RAW 2006

Bookers Notes: WWE RAW 2006 is a show I began three years ago on the old WZforums, starting from Cyber Sunday to New Years Revolution I booked each RAW consecutively every two weeks. The work load I had back then, beginning Year 12 (Last Year of High School) and work was starting to creep up on me and the disappearance of my old booking partner (A guy who did Smackdown), I lost the motivation to keep going. As of now, I’d like to announce a return to the booking world. As I could never manage and write two shows at a time (RAW and Smackdown), I’ll only be doing storylines that have to do with RAW, I’ll probably also bring some Smackdown stars over later on to freshen things up, or go one step further and bring the independent guys (At the time) over to RAW so they can start their journey again (Jeff Hardy, MVP, Mr. Kennedy etc...). In saying that, as the Royal Rumble is the next PPV on the WWE Roster, I will not be writing the match itself (I don’t have the match skills to do so and the roster I have is far too small to do anything that big), rather just announcing a winner, however, I will add several more matches than usual to the card and put allot more effort into the matches! I hope to have RAW posted within two weeks of this post and hope everyone enjoys the storylines I produce.

New Years Revolution
Review

Matches

Mainevent
Triple Threat Match for the World Wrestling Entertainment Championship
Triple H vs. John Cena (c) vs. Kurt Angle
The World Wrestling Entertainment Championship had been held by John Cena for what seemed like forever, the fairytale had now became something of an Everest for WWE Superstars who had wished to dethrone the WWE Champ. After surviving a Street Fight against Kurt Angle at Survivor Series, Cena again found himself defending the WWE title against Angle at New Years Revolution; but this time, the stacks would be against Cena, as not only would he have to contend with the American Hero but a man he had never faced in singles competition, The Game Triple H. In a match that was brutal and bloody, Kurt Angle would become victorious and win the WWE Championship for a fifth time pinning Triple H after two consecutive Angle Slams.
Winner by Pinfall Kurt Angle (41.3mins)

#1 Contendership for the WWE Championship
Shawn Michaels vs. Rob Van Dam
Shawn Michaels was a man who wanted to prove that his heart and soul was still in the wrestling business, after succumbing to several losses reaching back to Cyber Sunday and a fortune of bad luck, the Showstopper found himself confronting death himself, Mr. Eric Bischoff. After a confrontation on Monday Night RAW led to Bischoff being laid out by Michaels own, Sweet Chin Music; Bischoff put it all on the line, Michaels very own career or a shot at the WWE Championship in a match at New Years Revolution against a man who was returning from a shoulder injury and one of Michaels very own ally in the WWE, Rob Van Dam! RVD would have to make a dangerous decision, Michaels career or a shot at the title he’s never been able to claim. In a match that stole the show, Michaels was able to connect with the Sweet Chin Music and pin RVD to end his horrendous losing streak and win a shot for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble.
Winner by Pinfall Shawn Micheals (34.5mins)

World Tag Team Championship
Inferno Match
Three Minute Warning vs. Kane and the Big Show (c)
Kane and the Big Show had gone undefeated ever since Cyber Sunday where they were voted into a match with Trevor Murdoch and Lance Cade for the World Tag Team Championship, in which they won the titles. However weeks before New Year’s Revolution, Big Show found Kane bruised and bloody in the car park. Show went on the hunt for the men who took out Kane. With Kane out of the picture on the following RAW, the culprits would soon make their presence known. The returning three minute warning would take out Big Show, beating him within an inch of death before security was able to stop Jamal Splashing Show off the top turnbuckle through a table. On the next RAW, Kane and Show made their return stalking out Eric Bischoff who gave 3MW the night off, it was there Kane would force Bischoff to make a match at New Years Revolution, not only would it be contest for the Tag Titles but that it would be contested under Inferno Rules. Show and Kane won the match by putting Jamal and Rosey on fire!
Winner by lighting ther oppoents on fire the Big Show and Kane (14.3mins)

Women’s Championship
Trish Stratus (c) vs. Mickie James
Mickie James had been on the prowl for Trish Stratus’s Women’s Championship for weeks now, assaulting Trish backstage and even going as far as stalking out the Womens Champions own home in Toronto! However, Mickie wouldn’t earn the title shot until a week before the event where she was able to gain a pinfall victory over Trish in a tag match on Monday Night RAW. While the momentum was in Mickies corner, Trish Stratus was able to overcome the odds with the Stratusfaction, however after the match Melina ran through the crowd, jumping the barrier and assaulted Trish, eventually hitting her with the Women’s Title and a stiff Impale DDT.
Winner by Pinfall Trish Stratus (8.4mins)

Gregory Helms vs. Shelton Benjamin
Gregory Helms was a man after respect, but not only was he doing it in a disrespectful manner but he was demanding respect that should be earned in the ring. After weeks of talking himself up and putting down his fellow superstars, one man had had enough and challenged Helms to a one on one contest, that man was Shelton Benjamin. After coming off a stinging Intercontinental Title defeat to Ric Flair, in which Flair won his 2nd Intercontinental Championship, Benjamin was pumped and ready to shut Helms up and go back on the hunt for his Intercontinental Title. In a great wrestling match in which both Superstars showed the world as to why there two of the best in the company, Benjamin pinned Helms after a T-Bone Suplex.
Winner by Pinfall Shelton Benjamin (22.4mins)

Intercontinental Championship
Special Guest Referee: Edge w/ Lita
Ric Flair (c) vs. Matt Striker
The Nature Boy was ready to take Matt Striker to school after Striker decided to take his “career” into his own hands. After Striker took out Flair on the Cutting Edge, it was revealed that the former school teacher had made an alliance with Edge. The alliances sole purpose was to make Flairs life a living misery and take away his prized Intercontinental Championship! Whether it was because of jealousy or pure hatred for Naitch, Flair was able to one up the duo a week before the event by cracking both Striker and Edge with a steel chair! In a match that was decided by pure wrestling ability, The Nature Boy was able to successfully defend his I.C title by making Matt Striker tap to the Figure Four Leg Lock after Striker hit Edge with missed clothesline and second referee was sent down to officiate the match, after the match, Edge ran into the ring and speared Flair, then to add insult to injury, Edge used his Money In the Bank briefcase and took Flair out.
Winner by Submission Ric Flair (16.8mins)

Backstage New and Notes.

The cameras pan the arena as the crowd’s go insane for RAW; Pyrotechnics go off as the Across the Nation by Union Underground continues to play. Joey Styles and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW.

Styles “Welcome everyone to another thrilling edition of Monday Night RAW, I’m Joey Styles and the man beside me is “The King” Jerry Lawler”
Lawler “The atmosphere is GREAT! Well, what can I say Joey, it’s great to back here in Hershey in front of thousands of WWE fans but what’s more interesting is what happened at New Years Revolution!”
Styles “That’s right King, it was an amazing night with several amazing matches going down, but to be quite frank Jerry, nothing was more surprising than Kurt Angle, the American Hero, winning the WWE Championship”

Medal by Jim Johnson hits the arena and the crowd goes nuts. Kurt Angle, wearing a suit; with the WWE Championship on his shoulder; makes his way down to the ring. Blue, white and red confetti begins to fall from the roof of the arena. Angle walks up the steel steps and into the ring. Angle gets onto the top turn buckle and holds up the WWE Championship; pyrotechnics begin to explode from the roof. Angle celebrates in the ring for a few more minutes before he takes a microphone from an official, Angle chants fill the arena.

Angle “Oh its true, its DAMN true”

Angle shakes his head, and puts the title back on his shoulder.

Angle “It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to walk down that isle, come to this ring and do it knowing that I’m the WWE Champion... and I’m damn glad I did it in Pennsylvania!”

Crowd goes nuts.

Angle “I worked so long and hard to be able to hold this Championship, I’ve been beaten and I’ve been bruised. But now, finally, I can tell the world that I’m the WWE CHAMPION. I’m the best in the world and no one, NO ONE can dispute that”

Angle chants continue to fill the arena, however, a small contingent of fans begins to chant for John Cena.

Angle “John Cena... I may not like John Cena, but I sure as hell respect John Cena. He showed courage and determination, something not many men could ever bring out. Last night, we bled, we fought... and fortunately for myself, I came out the stronger of both men...”

Angle is about to go on, but is cut off. The Game by Motorhead plays throughout the arena. Triple H walks out wearing a suit and has a microphone in hand, the fans unleash their fury.

Triple H “I’m sorry Kurt, but I couldn’t listen to you moan and groan any longer. What happened last night was a fluke, nothing more than third mans luck. You and I really know who deserved to be champion last night, who deserved to win last night”

Angle “And who might that be Hunter? Because I’m sure as hell looking directly at the only man who didn’t deserve to win last night!”

Triple H “I should have been the only man going into that match with Cena last night Angle, you know it, and they know it! You were just lucky I didn’t pedigree your ass straight off.”

Angle “Well Hunter, if you want some... come down to the ring and get some, I’ll pin your ass again and then I’ll submit it and then I’ll bury it!”

Triple H drops the microphone and takes his suit jacket off; he follows up by unbuttoning his shirt and begins to walk down to the ring. Angle takes his suit jacket off and puts the title on the ring matt. Triple H rolls in and they both begin to brawl. Angle goes for the Angle Slam but Hunter reverse’s and goes for the pedigree, Angle counters and puts Triple H on his ass. The two begin to brawl again until both men, surprisingly, succumb to Sweet Chin Music. Michaels enters the ring from the crowd and Sweet Chin Music’s both men, he walks over to Angles WWE Championship and picks it up. He looks at the crowd who are going nuts for HBK’s surprising entrance, he looks down at the title he’s holding and places it on Angle who is lying motionless in the ring. Sexy Boy by Shawn Michael’s ft. Sensational Sherri begins to play throughout the arena as we go to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
Backstage

RAW returns inside Eric Bischoff’s office; Bischoff is quietly sitting down sorting through paperwork, until Triple H busts in and stops inches away from Bischoff.

Triple H “Eric... what the hell was that!?”

Bischoff stands up and faces Hunter directly, who continues to breathe heavily and continues to hold his chin.

Bischoff “You know Triple H, ever since my reinstatement I’ve pushed to change RAW, to make RAW the best show on T.V; to make shock announcements and to generally keep the audience happy.”

Triple H “What... now look, I demand you take Michaels out of the title picture and instead give me right to face Angle at the Rumble! I right I rightfully deserve!”

Bischoff “Now you... look! (Points Triple H on the chest) Shawn Michaels fought and won that shot to face whoever won the championship match last night at the Rumble. You, Triple H failed to win the title last night and thus FAILED to earn anything.”

Triple H “I had that championship Eric, that title was MINE”

Bischoff “You know what, you want the title so much Triple H? You would be willing to do ANYTHING to win a title shot?”

Triple H stares at Bischoff silently.

Bischoff “That’s what I thought... Triple H, RAW’s Mainevent will consist of you taking on SHAWN MICHAELS and you win Hunter and you’ll be in the title match at the Rumble”

Bischoff sits back down with Triple H looking rather irritated and angry; Hunter then storms off as RAW goes to another commercial break.

Commercial Break

Styles “Shawn Michaels verses Triple H, TONIGHT ON RAW! What a Mainevent!”
Lawler “Triple H wins; he goes to the Rumble #1 Contender, what does that mean for Michaels?”
Styles “It’s been less than 24 hours since Kurt Angle became WWE Champion and already the title race has become intense!”
Lawler “Well the WWE Championship wasn’t the only title defended last night at New Years Revolution, the Intercontinental Championship was also on the line, with Ric Flair defending his title against Matt Striker!”
Styles “In what was astounding match up Flair was able to defeat Striker with the figure four, but it was what happened after the match that amazed us all”

A video from last night is shown of Edge brutally spearing and hitting Ric Flair with his Money in the Bank briefcase.

Lillian Garcia “The following match is scheduled for one fall and is for the INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP”

Woooo by Richard Strauss hits the arena as Ric Flair comes out to an astounding applause. He makes his way to the ring and takes off his luscious robe’s before strutting around the ring with the Intercontinental Championship. Flair’s face is still bruised from Edges assault the night before.

Lillian Garcia “Coming to the ring, weighing in at 230 pounds, he is the current Intercontinental Champion, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair!”

Metalingus by Alter Bridge blasts around the arena, as Edge and Lita come out of the smoke screen. Edge is booed relentlessly by the hot Hershey crowd and makes his way down to the ring.

Lillian Garcia “And his opponent, weighing in at 250 pounds, Edge”

Intercontinental Championship
Ric Flair (c) vs. Edge w/ Lita

Styles “Why the hell is Flair competing tonight?!”
Lawler “I’ve just been told that Bischoff ordered the match as favour to Edge! I wouldn’t be surprised if Lita didn’t have a “helping hand” in getting this match together”
Styles “Not to take anything away from J.R, but by gawd, you’re probably right”

As soon as the match bell rings Flair goes after Edge, unleashing a barrage of knife edge chops and right haymakers. The barrage finally puts Edge on the matt and he rolls out for cover, Flair is quick to follow but before he can mount any sort of offence, Edge drags him headfirst into the steel ring post. Flair falls to the ground and Edge puts the exclamation point on with a sharp kick to ribs. Edge walks away and belittles the crowd who are chanting Flairs name ruthlessly. Finally Edge rolls back into the ring and then back out; he picks up Flair and rolls him into the ring and goes for a cover, only to have flair kick out at the one count. Edge now picks up Flair and puts him into the corner unleashing rights and lefts to Flairs mid section; Flair begins to fight back, but Edge quickly Irish whips Flair into the opposite turnbuckle and as Flair bounces off, Edge nails him with a huge clothesline. Edge follows up with another quick pin attempt in which Flair kicks out at the one count once again. Edge quickly gets back onto the offence and puts Flair into chin lock. The crowd begins to heat up as Flair begins to fight out of it, Flair gets to one knee and then finally standing. Flair pushes Edge to the ropes; on the rebound Flair connects with a knife edge chop which drops Edge to the ground. Flair runs toward the ropes and bounces off them connecting with a Knee lift. Flair stops; Struts in the middle of the ring before landing an Atomic Drop on Edge, who lands flat on his back. Flair runs at the ropes and on the rebound stops in the middle of the ring before grabbing both of Edges legs and with a loud “Wooo” locks in the Figure Four Leg Lock. Edge screams in pain as he goes for the ropes but Flair drags him back into the middle. But just as Edge is about to tap out, Lita climbs up on the apron and distracts the referee causing Flair to disconnect the Figure four. Flair jumps up and just as he is about to go after Lita, Edge pushes Flair into the referee. The referee falls to the ground! Flair turns around toward Edge and as he does so is taken out by Matt Striker who is wielding the Money in the Bank briefcase! Edge is still withering in pain as Flair falls to the matt motionless. Striker jumps out of the ring and runs into the crowd as they continue to boo Edge who is crawling on top of Flair. The referee turns around and starts the pin count. Flair kicks out at two!!! Edge can’t believe it and the crowd is going insane. Edge starts to pull his hair out as Flair begins to get up, bleeding from his forehead. Edge goes into the corner and squats down and taunts Flair by yelling out “Get Up”. Flair stands, slowly and turns around. Kick to the midsection by Flair as Edge attempts the spear. Flair puts Edge into an inverted headlock and hits DDT. Flair is exhausted but somehow pulls himself together to stand up; Edge is quick to do the same. Flair nails Edge with a right, Edge does the same, both men exchange rights and lefts, but Flair prevails with several vicious knife edge chops. Flair is quick to hit a power slam on Edge, who was still in dire straits after several rights and lefts he had received! Flair runs to the ropes and hits a Knee drop on Edge and goes for a pin. Two count by the referee. Flair now drags Edge into the middle of the ring and goes for the Figure Four! Edge counters with a kick to the head. Flair manages to find himself again and goes after Edge who kicks him off for a second time. Edge gets up quickly and ducks a high clothesline by Flair. Flair turns around and receives a big boot to the face, which sends him to the matt. Edge goes to the corner to revitalize. He holds his head, and taunts the crowd who boo him viciously! Edge walks over to Flair who begins to pull on Edges tights to stand and as he is about to stand rakes Edge’s eyes. Edge walks away in pain as Flair collapses to one knee. Edge goes back on the hunt and shoves the referee away as he checks up on him. Flair proceeds to low blow Edge on his way back. Edge begins to hop around the ring in extreme pain. Flair then goes to the top rope as the crowd begin to get behind Flair, Flair jumps off the ropes for a cross body, but Edge ducks. Flair gets up quickly but as he turns around, he falls victim to the Spear! Edge covers for the three count and win the match and the intercontinental championship!
Winner by Pinfall Edge (17.7mins)

Lillian Garcia “Your winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion...”

Before Lillian can finish Lita grabs the microphone.

Lita “Your winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion, my baby, EDGE!”

Lita throws the microphone back at Lillian and grabs the title. Metalingus hits the arena as she then rolls into the ring and begins to make out with Edge who is still recovering from his match with Flair. Flair rolls out of the ring still motionless. Edge holds the title up as the crowd boo viciously.

Commercial Break

We cut back to Joey Styles and Jerry Lawler at their announce booth.

Styles “Well, if you’ve just joined us here on RAW, Edge was just crowned Intercontinental Champion!”
Lawler “Last night was just the beginning, hell; I don’t think Edge ever expected Striker to walk out champion.”
Styles “It’s been a cruel 24 hours for Ric Flair and I hope the Nature Boy can regather and I don’t think Edge or Matt Striker have heard the last of the Nature Boy!”

Paparazzi by Jim Johnson hits the arena floor. The red carpet is set in place by WWE officials as MNM, who are being booed by the fans, come down to the arena, all in street clothes except for Melina, who is in ring gear. They enter the ring and Melina does not do her splits entrance; Melina then grabs a mike.

Melina “I hope you were all watching New Years Revolution last night!? I hope you were all watching as I destroyed your Women’s Champion, roll the footage!”

A replay of Melina’s assault on Stratus is played.

Melina “You see that!? That was justice! At New Years Revolution I earned a title shot and not only took out Stratus but I showed you all that I am here to stay! So with that being said, I demand Stratus comes down to the ring right now and I get my deserved Women’s title match!

There is a short pause, until Time to Rock and Roll by Lil’ Kim hits the arena and the crowd explodes! Trish bursts out and stares down MNM from the top of the isle. Trish shakes her head and signals behind her, Chris Masters and Carlito come out behind her. The three charge down to the ring. Carlito and Masters start to brawl with Mercury and Johnny Nitro while Stratus goes after Melina, who rolls out of the ring and enters the crowd, Stratus goes in hot pursuit. Stratus follows Melina through the crowd and back into the arena, seldom exchanging rights and lefts.

Stratus finally catches up to Melina. On the outside Carlito and Masters take Mercury and Nitro back into the arena. Stratus and Melina continue to brawl, Stratus finally gets into control but before she can finish Melina; Mickie James come from behind hits Stratus with huge forearm. She grabs Stratus and throws her into a bunch of tools and equipment. Melina is at her feet and grabs onto Mickie and thanks her. But before she can say anything else, Mickie grabs Melina and throws her into the same spot she threw Trish. Mickie simply looks down at the both of them as we go to a commercial break.

Commercial Break

Backstage

We return to RAW with a video package highlighting the Royal Rumble. We then cut to Bischoff’s office, Eric is seen pacing the office with a clipboard in his hand. Eric stops when Coach walks in.

Bischoff “Look at this!? What type of man does he think I am, I shouldn’t be taking this type of crap from anyone, he went Smackdown, got his ass fired and now wants back on RAW. He’s threating to sue!”

Coach “Well, who is it?”

Bischoff “That’s it though; I don’t know who it is! I’ve just got this contract to go by, it says here that he’s faced the likes of Hulk Hogan, was on RAW, was on Smackdown and was fired unfairly by the administrating staff, I just got a phone call before from the board of directors... threatening me to make the “right decision””

Coach “The right decision?”

Bischoff “The decision that doesn’t cost the company money... So now I have to sign SOMEONE to a contract”

Coach “Easier said than done boss”

Bischoff “No, wait... what I am doing. Coach, I want you to find out who this is, I don’t care what lengths you have to through, just find out who it is. I have until the Rumble to sign or the company gets sued, find out or I’ll have to sign... “

Coach “What... why don’t you... hell, you’ve signed your damn nephew before, why not signs this... wrestler?”

Bischoff “Eugene was a favour; I’m a business man, and I do business right... now find out whom it is Coach, I have a show to run...”

In Ring

Styles “Who the hell could it be?”
Lawler “Whoever it is, Coachmen better find out whom or he’ll be answering to Bischoff!”
Styles “Amen to that... I still don’t know why Bischoff would be worried about it; I mean anyone who’s faced off against a WWE Immortal like Hulk Hogan would be an awesome grab...”
Lawler “Remember Joey, the past is a dangerous concept... Bischoff has made allot of people hate him”
Styles “Very true King, very true”

The camera now goes around the crowd as we get ready for RAW’s second bout of the evening as; the ring bell sounds.

I get treated like crap by the fans and I don’t get any respect from any of the son’s of bitches in the locker room. All I want is to prove to them what I’m really about, that I can stand up to guys like Shawn Michaels and Rob Van Dam.”

Ashley “Look, you have a rematch with Shelton Benjamin up next, start again, fix your mistakes. You sure as hell can stand up to anyone on the roster, but you don’t need to do it the way you’re doing it now.”

Re: Lost Presents: WWE RAW 2006 Revisted

Very well written and professional. I love AJ's interaction with WWE stars, it's neat. Cena dissapearing from WWE is kind of interesting. I hope you're not nixing him.

I just skimmed through it, and read Styles and for some reason I thought it was AJ. Lol. Regardless, dialogue is definitely your specialty.
