That'll be an interesting one. I think 2000 could very take it because that was arguably when they were the most wrestling focused. 2001 and 2004 could also be strong contenders simply because those years had Austin, Benoit and Eddie tearing stuff up on a consistant basis, respectively.

I'm thinking of doing a little bit of re-formatting for this. I was thinking we do it in a way people nominate matches and I edit them into the first post, might make it easier to keep up with what has been dicussed and get people to talk about their thoughts on matches with more insight than "this is great". I would go through and add in stuff that has already been mentioned, but from now onwards it could be an idea?
I'm also thinking that for voting - it's a long way away still - but to not put any sort of limits on the ballots apart from a maximum (of 100). That way if someone can't stretch out to 100 matches but has more than 50, or something like that they can send in a ballot with a wonky number if they want.

Yeah I approve of both. I was thinking that a lot of people probably won't want to make a list that long. As for editing them into the first post like proper nominations, yeah that would just make things simpler.

Those are some good ideas for sure. A lot of rewatching will be done and I suggest that when you watch some of these matches, go to the REVIEW THREAD~! in General/Old school and review so later on you have written memories of the match in question and maybe a rating.

Both are very good ideas... Especially the second. At the minute I'll be surprised if I get a full 50, but with my PC now clear of debris I'm beginning the downloading process tonight, so that will likely change. That works to I guess. May I suggest putting the review in spoiler tags though, for those who haven't seen the matches yet to get the full experiance when they watch them? Just put the Match and a rating outside of the tags and the rest of the review in them so that people can pick and choose whether to read it or not.

Maybe people could use this thread to keep a list of matches they need to check out by the end of the year? Then they can keep editing the same post to cross them off or add more.
