2007 wasnt the greatest year but i think it had some really good matches but there are some great matches that are not mentioned there like
Orton vs Edge 30\4\07- this supposed to happen at the raw before backlash but hbk and cena had that great 50 something minute match but the edge vs orton match this was a great match between these 2 probably edge's best one on one match that year
Orton vs Y2J at Armageddon 07- this was a really good match with a stupid finish
The opening minutes are really a great piece of continuity. At Wrestlemania, Michaels was cocky and arrogant, but lost - here his confidence is lacking and Cena is instantly going for the move that finished him at Wrestlemania, the STFU. Cena taunts him telling him he almost had him again and Michaels looks frustrated rather than cocky or arrogant. This is pushed when Michaels tries to "out-wrestle" Cena only for Cena to get the better of him.
This is really the match that dispelled all the "all Cena does is get beat down and make comeback" talk as he controls most of the match, keeping Michaels contained and cutting off all of his comeback attempts. Cena is actually really good at this, stuff like Michaels getting out of a headlock only for Cena to take his head off with a clothesline then instantly go back to the headlock show this. This really is the Cena Show, his selling of Michaels's chops and strikes is also great.
First half of the match is fairly slow-paced but all about building the tension between the two, I dug the pacing atleast. After a while they get going and both men take some big bumps and they do a boo/yay segment which gets a good reaction. Michaels takes over halfway through after posting Cena and works over his injured arm/shoulder. They do a great job of teasing and building to the finishers too. Then we have a part where Cena posts Michaels and works over his back, which is also really well done with stuff like sturggling over a suplex and a bearhug spot. Hell, this is simply too much good stuff in the match to name it all. Great finish to boot, just an all round great match, will make my top 50 with room to spare.

Just watched this again. Thought it was good but not great. Some of it I enjoyed a lot, and some of it seemed to be generic HIAC stuff. The dirty finish arguably hurt it a lot considering HIAC should be the decisive feud ender, but personally I liked it a lot and thought it was a very good return for Edge. Obviously it was necessary to set up the 3 way and then the Wrestlemania match. As for the body of the match, like their other matches, I enjoyed it, but I felt this was way below the standard of both the Wrestlemania and Backlash matches earlier in the year. Good to see Taker use the chair to the throat move he used to use as a heel back in 2002, and overall it was a good brawl with some good sequences. Didn't really like the Batista Bomb through a table spot because it seemed too contrived and didn't really flow well, but maybe that's just me. Seemed kinda like "what can we use next....". Anyway, good match, maybe very good, but not great. Don't anticipate it making my list.
