So uh, I rewatched Angle vs Michaels from Vengeance. I went in expecting to hate it like their other matches... but it holds up better than expected. Considering it's two guys I have soured on as of late there isn't much too fault them on. Some restholds and overly long Ankle locks, but theres still a lot to like. The continuity feels the same as the Cena/HBK match from London, though not as good, with Angle going for the kill straight from the bell and a confidence-less Michaels trying to avoid it at all costs. Couple of nice continuity spots like them teasing the Angle Slam on the accounce table again only for Michaels to fight it and end up getting suplexed for his troubles. Angle works his technical wrestler gimmick pretty well when controlling HBK and hits all his stuff well - no overkill or shitty selling. Finishing part with Michaels's injury angle is well done and comes of realistic and adds a lot of drama. Unless you hate Michaels more than me I don't see why this wouldn't make your top 100 atleast.
