CWA World Tag Team Champions the Future have been busy promoting the next Pay Per View several weeks in advance. The next CWA Pay Per View event takes place on September 23rd in London, England. With the current champions being from neighbouring Ireland, they were asked to do several public appearances to which they agreed.
The first of which took place on Friday, July 31st as they appeared on the season finale of Friday Night with Jonathan Ross which regularly draws in excess of five million viewers. They were joined on the show by Miley Cyrus and Frank Skinner who each had a previous appearance cancelled. Before hand both Axl and Daren were reminded by their
PR people that Miley Cyrus was only 16 so to stay away from inappropriate comments.
Surprisingly they managed to do that but it didn’t stop them ripping into several members of the CWA roster mainly TJ Styles, The Machine and Alexa. When questioned about Nikolas Arsen jumping ship at Redemption neither man seemed that interested in Arsen and simply stated that they were surprised it took him this long to do. The tag champions did have a few positive words for some members of the roster, but it quickly ended once they put over Joey Nicholas and Ultimate Pain. Just as the interview was winding down, they remembered why they were there and plugged the Meltdown PPV.
The CWA World Tag Team Champions will be appearing on several more TV Shows in the coming weeks.
