We have confirmed that Dr. Jack Adams' wrestling license has indeed been revoked, and his latest speech at Adrenaline Rush was not a part of a story line. It appears that the man Adams crippled in his rookie years was at the forefront of the investigation and that the match in which he was crippled played a key factor in the hearings.
Dr. Jack Adams is a former CWA Lightweight Champion and had become a favorite among CWA fans just before his license was revoked. After many attempts, we finally got through to Dr. Adams by telephone, and he only had this to say:

We have confirmed that the man that Dr. Adams crippled is indeed the man we saw in Charles W. Anderson's office on Adrenaline Rush. Adams has referred to him as 'Loki', which was apparently his ring name at one time. Everyone we have spoken to has referred to him as Mr. Quade, and we'll add that none of those people had anything good to say about him.
Quade was a key factor in the removal of Adams' wrestling license. Rumor has it that Adams' wrestling license can be reinstated at the flick of Quade's wrist. He only needs to sign on the dotted line. Apparently, that's the carrot that Quade hangs in the face of Adams as well as Anderson.
There are also rumors of a contract between Quade, Anderson, and Adams. We know that Quade has signed, as he is the one who inked it, but neither Anderson or Adams have signed. The details of the contract are very sketchy at this point, but we've heard murmurings about an unsanctioned match.
Quade mentioned the reinstatement of Adams during the Adrenaline Rush on May 6th. We can only speculate that Adams must win this match in order to have his license reinstated. We have no idea who Adams will be facing in this match, or if it is even in the works.

OOC: Thanks. I had planned to develop this part of the story in segments on the last AR, but I got a little behind. I think this actually works better.

Dr. Jack Adams won his unsanctioned match tonight with a little help from his friends. Mr. Quade is reluctantly following the provisions of the contract and has submitted the paperwork to get Adams reinstated, and got on the first flight back to Toronto.
Adams suffered a vicious beating during the match, sustaining a cut that required 13 stitches, among other injuries that he has not, and likely will not, disclose. He was also attacked only minutes after receiving medical attention backstage. It's highly unlikely that he'll be competing at the next Adrenaline Rush.
We at CWA.com wish Dr. Adams a speedy recovery.
