The last time we saw CWA live on PPV was back in December for our biggest show of the year, Five Star Attraction! Now CWA returns to PPV on February the 22nd as Uprising will take place live in Houston, Texas! It's been a long road getting here to Uprising, and in that time a lot of happenings have gone down. Now, at Uprising all of it comes to ahead!
CWA World Heavyweight Championship Match

There's a lot of history between these two foes, and at Uprising it all comes to ahead. For years now there's been a heated rivalry between Roberto Superstar and The Ultimate Pain, and it's culminated in some big, historic matches. Now these two meet once again, and it will be for the most prestigious prize in all of CWA, The World Heavyweight Championship! Will Roberto be able to beat his long time rival once again? or will The Ultimate Pain make good on his promise and walk out of Houston as the new CWA World Heavyweight Champion?
Grudge Match

At Five Star Attraction we saw the long awaited return of CWA fan favorite, Mr. Willis! One man that did not welcome Willis back with open arms is the former Heavyweight Champion, Rolando "Ice" Fuentes. Fuentes feels as though the spotlight has been taken off of him, and focused on Willis. Fuentes is a man on a mission, and plans to remind everyone exactly who he really is. Can Willis shut Rolando up for good? or will Rolando be the one who gets the last laugh in his hometown of Houston?
CWA World Tag Team Championship Match
vs
For months now these two teams have been at each other's throats as bitter rivals trying to one up each other. They meet once again at Uprising with the CWA World Tag Team Championships on the line, will The Brotherhood be able to hang on to their championships, or will The Gang Stars once again take the championships away from their adversaries?
CWA X-Fly Championship

We saw a new X-Fly Champion crowned at Five Star Attraction, and his name is Dexter Darwin Douglas. Over the last month there's been a tournament to determine who would face DDD at Uprising, and the one man that was able to overcome all of the obstacles thrown in his path was Dan Maskell. Maskell has been on a hot streak as of late, and he looks to continue it by taking home his first championship gold. Can Maskell beat DDD? or will DDD prove just why he is the X-Fly Champion?
Grudge Match

Once friends, now bitter enemies. Gonzalez let his paranoia cloud his judgement, and he's had a new change of attitude. He believes that just like his other former friend Derek Vendra, that Chubby Carlos is one of the people that was holding him back from achieving greatness. Carlos thinks Gonzalez has gone mental, and plans on beating some sense into his former buddy. Can Carlos prove to Gonzalez that he's the phony? or will Gonzalez stay true to his word and beat Carlos within an inch of his life?
Triple Threat Match (Winner will earn a chance to wrestle for the X-Fly Championship on the next Adrenaline Rush)

These three men were unsuccessful in their attempts to wrestle for X-Fly gold, but they have been given another chance. Whoever walks out with the victory will automatically earn a shot at whoever the X-Fly champion is on the next edition of Adrenaline Rush. Austerio has had his ups and downs as of late, highly unpredictable, and never in a good mood. He defeated Pineda last week, and he's all too familiar with Derek Vendra. Pineda has had a string of bad luck as of late, and looks to put an end to all that with a win here. Vendra is fresh off losing to Dan Maskell, and is looking for some way to redeem himself. Who will walk out of this match as the winner?

Bane had an impressive showing in his debut match as he defeated CWA veteran, Adam Brown. Now, he takes on another rookie by the name of Trainwreck. Bane is looking to go 2-0 here in CWA, while Trainwreck will be looking for first victory. What rookie will come out on top?

Also, after suffering a devastating Ulti-Bomb through a wooden table from The Ultimate Pain, CWA's long time play by play man Harvey Buckworth will not be in attendance for Uprising, and will be out for quite some time.
