Recently, I've noticed that a lot of the avatars on the site are badly pixelated, including mine. Are other people seeing this, or is it just me?

Animated gifs seem to be fine, but a lot of the jpeg's are really bad, and almost unrecognisable.

yeah the avatar space got bigger so all the older pictures were just stretched to fill the space.

We will be more than happy to resize any and all avatars to make them more pixel appealing, but yes smaller pics are automatically made to 165 width.

Well that didn't work. I resized my image to 165 pixels width, and it's still enlarging it and making it FaGay looking.

what are you talking about? Your avatar is 79 pixels wide by 152 tall. Thats far off from 165 px wide. Link me to the original image and I'll fix it for you.

We are trying to standardize the avatar sizes so the forum doesn't look all messed up, so it resizes to 165 px wide. If you use a 165x165 image it will look as clear as Duke's.
