Vista help
I am having trouble with audio on windows media player.

If I download something from rapidshare the video will play fine but there is no audio. As much problems as I have had with Vista I just assume it has something to do with that. Do I need an audio driver or what?

Please HELP!

Are you sure their is sound in it? Try play it in VLC Media Player. If it still doesnt work then its the video itself.

Google it and install it.

It will fix the issue.

I downloaded it and got this message when I tried to open it in DivX.

This file contains a track in the Dolby AC3 Audio (code "8192") format. You may need to install a DirectShow decoder for this audio format in order to hear the soundtrack of this file.

EDIT: I searched for that in google and downloaded it and now it works!

hello , for your problem of sound with vista for videos of rapidshare

dolby ac3 = dolby digital

1. are you sure to have make all the upgrade of vista
2. codec divx : DivX Video Player - DivX Video Codec - DivX Converter
3. codec xvid last version :
