The old rule was that we basically couldn't talk about wrestling in the SB for at least 24 hours after a show.

New rule: Wait until the next morning to discuss the WWE or TNA in the shoutbox. Many forums close their shoutboxes during wrestling shows, but I dont want to do that. There are still plenty of members here that have zero interest in wrestling.

With that said, its only fair to our British memberbase to give them some time to see the show or at least minimize the shoutbox until they are able to see the show (it airs live at like 3am in the UK)

TV shows and Movies are STILL a no-no in the shoutbox.

Example: Lost comes back this Thursday. If someone were to shout "OMG, Kate gets hit by a helicopter and dies !!!!" at 10:30 that night, the west coast people that watch the show will be super pissed.

But you may discuss old seasons. For example "I miss Charlie. I wish he wasnt dead" If you are that far behind on a top tv show, then thats your own problem.

Just trying to be fair for the majority of the board. The wrestling shoutbox rule was initially put into place because I didnt watch wrestling till 24 hours after the shows, but now that we focus on wrestling, its hard to justify that rule anymore.

Please note that if you violate these rules a admin or moderator IS allowed to edit your shout and give you an infraction if the offense is way over the top. We do monitor the shoutbox pretty much all hours of the day, but we also aren't going to be total jerks about it either.

3 shoutbox infractions within 30 days will result in a shoutbox banning.

I think its a very good rule because you dont want to spoil anybody's surprise.
