So. To help offset the cost of hosting this site (ads dont do it alone, trust me) and to help ensure that Monks is around for many many moons the admin team came up with a group that helps you stand out as well as helps us out with the cost of maintaining a site.

So with that we introduce "Platinum Members"

Alot of things may change for registered users that are not moderators or admins soon regarding your signatures, avatars, PM's and more.

But why Danny Boy!?!? Why have you done this to us?!?! Because we want to encourage the support of Monks Diner and become a Platinum Member. Pretty straight forward.

Here is what you get if you sign up.

Platinum Membership

By becoming a Platinum Member, you can increase accessibility and features here at MonksDiner!

For just $12.00 a year, you get:

Increased Image Hosting:
Regular members receive 10 Image Uploads, Platinum Members 100 Image Uploads!

Post Attachments:
Platinum Members can upload attachments up to 1.5MB per post.

Increased Private Messaging Storage:
Regular members receive 50 messages, Platinum Members receive 500!

Custom User Titles

Profile Pictures:
Regular members may not have profile pictures. Platinum Members can upload a profile picture image size of 300x500 pixels, 250K in size.

Custom Avatars / Animated Avatars:
Non Animated Avatar Size up to 100x100 pixels, 100k in size for regular members. Platinum Members get their choice of animated or non animated avatar up to 150x175 pixels, and 1.5MB in size.

Signatures:
Regular members may have 1 image and two lines of text in their signature (Max 600x100 pixels, 100K in size, NO LINKS TO OUTSIDE SITES ALLOWED BY REGULAR MEMBERS). As a Platinum Member, you can have a signature 600x700 pixels, which may contain any amount of text and/or images within that area. Links for Platinum Members are allowed! Image file size set at 1.5MB for Platinum Member signatures.

And last but not least, All of MonksDiner will be Advertisement Free for Platinum Members! No pop-ups, Banner Ads, or Text Link Advertisements!


It's $12.00 US dollars a year. That's 1 buck a month to help support a site that have been operating without a profit for 2 years now.

Also. (I will be awarding memberships from time to time, not often and not much at all after the initial couple) Don't ask for a free membership, it will put you to the back of the list, no matter how much I may enjoy you around the forums.
