Does anyone know why I can't access Monks with IE?
I can get to every site with IE, but I can't get on Monks unless I use Firefox.

Why is this?

Simon and Ino don't know.

Did you try running a spyware check?

Also are you running IE 5, 6 or 7?

If anything below 7 try upgrading to it. It might help

I think it's from either a mod_security rule that is setup to prevent injection exploits, or one of the .htaccess rules for the SEO Stuff.

I am going to say that it is probably spyware even though you say you don't have any. If it's not spyware, then you could possibly have incorrect connection settings in IE with your LAN (I'm assuming you are on DSL / Cable and running through a LAN / Wireless connection. Although only a few of you have reported this issue, I did do some homework on it, and with IE the issue almost always comes down to spyware or lan settings. I suppose it could be firewall related to, but I'm sure it's nothing on this side thats causing it.

This is interesting. Dan just said over MSN that he can't get to the site. Type this:

In IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Security Tab. Click Trusted Sites, and add http://www.monksdiner.com to the list of trusted sites.

Since I don't have this issue, I have no idea if it will work or not, but Dan also mentioned he couldn't see my blog which is on the same server, so I'm assuming it's IP block related. Give it a try and let me know if it works.

I tried the Trusted Sites thing, but it didn't work. I tried Delete Files, but it didn't help. I've run a couple spyware checks, but they don't seem to help either.

On MSN Simon did link me to your blog, which opened fine on my computer... Monks is the ONLY site I'm having problems with. It simply times out every time.
