Groan and Thanks Button
This is sort of like rep but funner. Say someone post a bad thing that you don't like you can click groan which is so much easier and you dont have to spread around afterwards. If they say something you like you can thank them by clicking the thank you button. Just a fun option that can help rather than hurt the forum.

We've had it.

It wasn't "funner"

It failed. (phailed lol).

We're just not the kind of site that needs a whole bunch of guys repeatedly falling out with each other like fat teen girls over a hot teen boy just because they've been publically "sleighted" in their posts.

You can say "that won't happen", but it did, and it will again.

We have enough work on our hands at the moment deleting and dealing with wrestling news and rumours getting the same news posted three times a day without this!

Personally I didn't have issues with it, but it caused more issues with everyone else than it was worth and I don't see that working here still.

If anything I would being back the thank you hack, but not the groan.

Too many people had childish hissy fits when someone groaned them and the threads constantly got taken over by "Dude, why did you groan me?" and shit.

I think reputation essentially serves the same purpose as thank yous. Although it does take an additional .3 seconds to rep someone instead of thanking.

Why is it that a specific forum can only have specific hacks? The hack was made for all boards to use, not just PWN.. It just so happened that PWN used it, and it was successful there..

Anyway, I personally don't feel its needed.. The rep system is there, and this would take away from it..

I have no problem with one or two things coming over but you guys have basicly been asking for everything PWN had and its kind of unreasonable to just sign up and make these kind of demands dont you think? even more so since weve tried alot of these ideas without sucsess.
