Help Design the new Monks Diner banner and win $$ (non GFX

From now until April 15th we will be taking submissions for a new Monks Diner Banner.

There are two ways to win.

1. Submit the winning design and you will win $30 dollars via Paypal.

2. Get a new member to submit the winning design and you and the new member will each win $30. Please make sure the person validates you are the person that got them to the site. (This is incentive for members with no GFX experience to still have a chance)


This is what is tricky... everyone has different screen widths... therefore, whatever the banner is, it has to have a blank area on it that will allow me to make it expand. If you don't know what I mean, shrink your browser window (side to side) and watch the existing header... parts will disappear as the size goes down.. and reappear when it's fully expanded... As for a size, 1024 wide by 150-250 in height would be ideal

Please try to keep the text to the middle or the left. Monks Diner needs to be focused on more than the current banner. We would just like the banner to stand out more than currently constituted.

As far as creative direction..............Well, thats where your ideas come into play. You know what the forum is about, what we like and what the focus should be. The rest is up to you.

You may submit as many banners as you like. The top 10 will be voted on by the Monks Members.

Also. Go to the GFX section to make your submissions. The more the merrier. Feel free to steal each others ideas, techniques and use the threads to improve or tweak your current design
