OPENING PYRO; INTRODUCTION

Cole: Hello and welcome to Friday Night Smackdown! I'm Michael Cole along with my broadcast partner Tazz. Tonight we will see the fallout from the spectacular WrestleMania XXV.

Tazz: What a show it was, Cole. We saw absolutely everything, including a new WWE Champion.

Cole: And he will be in action tonight against an opponent of Vickie Guerrero's choice. Also tonight we see WWE Tag Team Champions The Colons defend the gold! But first up, US Champion Shelton Benjamen faces R-Truth in a non-title match up.

Tazz: What a way to start SmackDown!

Shelton Benjamen vs R-Truth

Both men lock up in the centre of the ring. Benjamen swivels round R-Truth into a reverse Bearhug. R-Truth slivers away, and grabs Benjamen's arm. R-Truth has a standing armbar locked in, and Benjamen grimaces in pain. A few stiff elbows from Shelton allow him to escape. Benjamen rebounds off the ropes............but is knocked down by a shoulder block. This time R-Truth rebounds off the ropes.......power slam from Benjamen........1...........2............shoulder up!

Benjamen stomps on R-Truth then riles the crowd. Benjamen drops a knee to the face of R-Truth, and applies an armbar. He has it locked in and R-Truth is in a ton of pain! The crowd are getting behind R-Truth, who reaches for the ropes but is too far away. He's going to have to find another way out. Look at the intensity of Shelton's face! R-Truth struggles to his knees and again reaches in vain for the ropes. Both men are at their feet with Benjamen still applying the armbar............an elbow to the gut from R-Truth as he tries to escape........and another........R-Truth rebounds of the ropes........right into a spinning wheel kick from Benjamen!

Looks like Benjamen's going up top. R-Truth slowly makes his way to his feet, holding his face. A flying clothesline from Benjamen.............countered into a DDT from R-Truth! What a brilliant counter!............1.............2............ kickout!!! R-Truth picks up Benjamen. Kick to the gut........he goes for the scissors kick.........Benjamen moves out of the way...............T-Bone Suplex!!!!!! 1.................2.......................kickout! ! How did R-Truth kick out of that? Looks like Shelton's setting up R-Truth for another...............he hits it!........1...................2.................. ........3!!!!! This one is over! An impressive victory for Shelton Benjamen!

Winner: Shelton Benjamen

Cole: R-Truth survived one T-Bone Suplex, but two were just too much!

Benjamen grabs a mic.

Benjamen: Now as you all know, a great travesty occured at WrestleMania. Yours truly, the Gold Standard, was left off the card. And when I tried to take the initiative, and create my own WrestleMania moment, I was assaulted! Now I will not let this stand. I will make an impact here on Smackdown whether you people like it or not. And I am focusing my attention on the Intercontinental Champion MVP. I know that he is scheduled to face either John Cena or Rey Mysterio but I am throwing my hat into the ring. I am challenging whoever the Intercontinental Champion will be to a match at Backlash, and because I am a generous man, I'll put my US Title on the line and make it a unification match!

Benjamen leaves the ring.

Cole: Wow what a blockbuster. I can't wait to see that happen!

Tazz: I dunno Cole, what if a RAW superstar wins the IC Title? He could go to Backlash and take our US Title.

Cole: I think you need to put a little faith in our superstars partner!

Vickie: I have two announcements to make. First of all, tonight my husband will host a very special edition of the Cutting Edge, on which I will announce the No#1 Contender for Triple H’s WWE Championship at our next PPV, Backlash. And speaking of Triple H, my second announcement is that Triple H’s opponent, in a match that indecently takes place next, will be......................Kane!<o></o>

Kane immediately goes for a clothesline, which Triple H ducks. HHH nails Kane with a few right hands, who backs into the corner. HHH continues delivering right hands, utilising the referee’s 5 count. Triple H backs off, but the ref turns his back and HHH kicks Kane in the gut. Kane stumbles out of the corner. HHH irish whips him into the ropes, Kane ducks a clothesline....................but HHH connects with a high knee. A quick cover from Hunter but only manages a 1 count.<o></o>

Kane rolls to the outside to try and catch a quick breather. HHH follows and smashes his forearm into Kane’s back. Kane backs up against the barricade, HHH follows up with a few right hands. The ref’s count is up to 4. HHH attempts to whip Kane into the ring post..................Kane reverses!............HHH goes face first into the ring post! That has surely switched the momentum of the match. Kane rolls back into the ring. The ref’s count is at 6...............7............HHH crawls towards the ring.......8...................9.................. ......HHH just manages to roll back into the ring.<o></o>

HHH struggles to his feet, and Kane signals for the chokeslam. He grabs Hunter by the throat and tries to lift him. HHH counters with a kick to the gut............HHH sets Kane up for the Pedigree.......................Kane hits a back body drop! HHH writhes on the floor. Kane pucks up HHH and tries to whip into the ropes.........Hunter counters.............Kane rebounds off the ropes.............Spinebuster! HHH signals for the Pedigree..........................he sets Kane up.....................and hits it! McMahon: Hello, how is everyone?! Well I’ve come to Smackdown because I have a massive announcement concerning this Monday’s edition of RAW. This Monday every single superstar from RAW and Smackdown will gather for the 2009 edition of the WWE Draft!<o></o>

Cole: Wow!<o></o>

McMahon: Each brand gets 4 picks completely at random. No one will be safe, that means that superstars, referees, announcers, hell even the cameramen could be drafted this Monday! And to spice things up I thought I would announce a couple of matches for this Monday night. There was a lot of confusion surrounding John Cena and Rey Mysterio’s challenge this Monday. Seeing as both men are tied, neither will receive a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. However, both men will get their World Title matches. John Cena will get his rematch with Randy Orton, and this match will be contested under Extreme Rules!<o></o>

McMahon: Likewise, Rey Mysterio will battle Triple H for the WWE Championship this Monday, and that will be a Table Match!<o></o>

Cole: This Monday night on RAW we will see two World Title matches.<o></o>

The match kicks off with Carlito and Big Show. Big Show immediately asserts his dominance by hurling Carlito across the ring. Carlito gets to his feet and charges at Big Show, who stands his ground and Carlito is knocked to the ground. Big Show picks up Carlito and drives him into the turnbuckle. He drives his shoulder into the gut of Carlito. Where is Umaga going?<o></o>

Umaga has left the apron and has made his way toward Primo, who looks wary. Umaga charges at Primo and flings him off the apron. He whips Primo into the stairs! He picks of Primo and.....................Samoan Spike! Primo is unconscious! Back in the ring Big Show picks of Carlito..............he wraps his hand around the throat of Carlito.....................chokeslam! He tags in Umaga............he is scaling the turnbuckle.........................and delivers a splash! Cover.............1..............................2 ...................................3! We have new Tag Team Champions!<o></o>

Cole: Oh my god, The Colons have been destroyed, and we have new Tag Team Champions!<o></o>

Tazz: That has to be one of the most dominating victories I have ever seen!<o></o>

Cole: I have agree! Well tonight we still have a huge match to look forward as Undertaker battles the loudmouth Mr. Kennedy! That match is next!<o></o>

Both men lock up to start the match. Kennedy backs Undertaker against the ropes, and throws a couple of right hands. Undertaker returns fire, staggering Kennedy. Undertaker rallies with some more big right hands. He whips Kennedy into the turnbuckle. ‘Taker charges at Kennedy and nails him with a huge clothesline into the turnbuckle! Kennedy stumbles out of the corner and is hoisted onto the Undertaker’s shoulders.................snake eyes!<o></o>

Kennedy rolls out of the ring with Undertaker in pursuit. Taker continues battering Kennedy with right hands, then hoists him up.........and drops Kennedy face first on the barricade! Undertaker then rolls Kennedy back into the ring leaving his head exposed. Taker climbs onto the apron, pauses.........then drops a leg onto Kennedy’s exposed head. Vintage Undertaker.<o></o>>

Taker enters the ring, rebounds off the ropes and drops a leg onto Kennedy. Cover.....1............2............kickout from Kennedy! Undertaker lifts up Kennedy, who hits a thumb to Taker’s eye. Taker stumbles back to the ropes. Kennedy charges at the Undertaker and clotheslines him over the ropes. The ref begins his count........1..............2.............Taker is stirring.................3.....................4.. ..................Taker is making his way to his feet.....................5........................ ..6...................Taker rolls back into the ring. Kennedy stomps on the Undertaker, and waits for him to get to his feet. He whips Taker into the ropes.................Taker reverses!
