OPENING PYRO; INTRODUCTION TO THE SHOW.
JR: Good evening folks, and welcome to a new edition of Monday Night RAW. I’m Good Old JR with my broadcast partner Jerry 'The King' Lawler, and WrestleMania XXV certainly provided its fair share of surprises.
King: You're right JR. And perhaps the most shocking revelation of all was the announcement of RAW's new GM. Well.....he's...YOU!
JR: I smell a rat King. None of this adds up. Me and the boss have never gotten along particularly well and this just seems like another ploy by our chairman.
King: Lighten up JR! You're the most powerful man on RAW! You can do whatever you like.
JR: I suppose King, but I'd rather just sit here and call a wrestling match.
*HBK's Music Hits*
HBK makes his way to the ring, not looking like his usual self.
HBK: As you know, I won last night at WrestleMania, and there is no doubt the match stole the show. It was a great moment. I wrestled a great man. However, the victory was rather bittersweet. You see, I went into that match knowing something. A secret I kept from you, my peers, hell even my wife. I went into my match with Steamboat knowing that after it had finished, I had one more 'Mania match left.
JR: What does he mean?
HBK: WrestleMania XXVI will be the last time you will see HBK compete in a wrestling match. After next year’s WrestleMania I will officially retire, and like my good friend Ric Flair I will not be making a comeback. I've tried to stay young, tried to relive my glory days. Each year I try and create one more defining WrestleMania moment, one that will live forever. And its taken its tool. I'm beat up, and I'm hurting. I've only got one more year left.

King: Well this is a shock!
HBK: But don't cry too much folks, cos knowing the Heartbreak Kid I'm gonna make this last year the greatest ride of my entire life. I'm gonna raise the bar and I'm gonna show the whole world why I am MR.WRESTLEMANIA!
*HBK's Music Hits*
HBK leaves the ring.
JR: Good lord, what a shock! Next WrestleMania will be the last we will see of the Heartbreak Kid!
King: Well you're the new boss! Stop him!

Chris Jericho vs Jeff Hardy
Both men lock up in the centre of the ring. Jericho pushed Hardy into the turnbuckle. The referee breaks them up, Jericho backs up however follows up with a kick to the mid section. Jericho unloads some stiff right hands to Hardy in the corner, allowing the ref to utilise his 5 count before relenting. Jericho whips Hardy into the opposite corner, and charges but.......a stiff kick to Jericho from Hardy.......spinning neckbreaker from Hardy...1.....2.....kickout from Jericho. Hardy picks up Jericho and delivers a couple of punches. he whips Jericho into the ropes, Jericho rebounds. Hardy goes for a clothesline......but Jericho ducks. He rebounds again but......Hardy connects this time with a stiff clothesline. Hardy drops the leg....1.....kickout. Both men are on their feet exchanging punches, and Jericho hits a thumb to the eye! A beautiful European Uppercut from Jericho sending Hardy to the mat. Jericho stomps on Hardy shouting abuse. Hardy slowly gets to his feet, Jericho springs off the ropes and.......facebuster connects. Jericho goes for the Lionsault.......AND CONNECTS.......1........2..........3.NOOOOOOOOO! A kickout from Hardy. Jericho looks frustrated! Jericho springs off the ropes looking for a clothesline, Hardy counters with an arm drag.....right into the referee!! He is out cold. Jericho hits a low blow to Hardy. He's off outside, what is he looking for?.......a steel chair from under the ring!..................wait its Matt Hardy! A Twist of Fate to Jericho!............he wills Jeff to cover Jericho. The ref crawls toward to the pin.....1..................................2...... .........................3!
Winner: Jeff Hardy
The Hardy Boys celebrate, and Matt grabs a mic.

JR: That's it! Hardy chooses RAW! Both Hardy Boys are now on RAW!
King: That's all well and good, but I doubt we've heard the last of Y2J after this little incident!

*Mr.McMahon's Music Hits*
JR: Oh, great.
Mr.McMahon saunters down to the ring.
Mr.McMahon: As you all know, RAW has been without a General Manager for some time, and coupled with the absence of myself RAW has become somewhat unruly. Well, that ends tonight because we have a new GM and his name is JIM ROSS!
JR makes his way into the ring.
Mr.McMahon: Now then JR, I know you have no experience of this kind of thing but I'm a great beliver of learning on the job. So, I'm handing the reigns of my flagship show over to you.......and do not mess it up!
Mr.McMahon leaves the ring.
JR: Well....I.....I'm not really sure that to do so I guess I'll act on my instincts. I know for the fact I have the power to deliver a match that you deserve. I also know of a young man who wants revenge for what happened last night and that man is Kofi Kingston. Well he'll get that revenge. He will face the man who betrayed him last night...CM Punk!

CM Punk vs Kofi Kingston
Kofi Kingston makes his way into the ring and waits for the arrival of his former partner. Where is Punk?........wait a minute! Punk's come through the crowd and Kofi has no idea! Good God! Punk lays out Kingston with a vicious shot with a lead pipe. And now he stomps on his head! Such disrespect! What is the reason for this! He picks up Kofi onto his shoulders and.......the GTS! Kofi is unconcious!
Winner: No Contest

King: Well what will you do about it JR!
JR: Well I don't know yet but I'm gonna make sure that young man gets his revenge!

Backstage Joey Styles interviews John Cena.
Styles: John, last night you came up short against Randy Orton but tonight you can get some revenge when you face Cody Rhodes one on one.
Cena: Well tonight Joey I'm going to do everything I want to do to Orton on Rhodes. I was straight up screwed out of the title last night by "Priceless". Well after tonight you might as well rename them "Expensive" cos Cody is going to have a pretty expensive hospital bill when I've finished with him....
Rey Mysterio turns up.
Rey: I hear you're facing Cody Rhodes tonight. Well you see, I seem to be facing the other member of priceless, Ted DiBiase. This got me thinking. How about we set up a little bet John?
Cena: Go on...
Rey: Well lets see who can win in the faster time, or who in fact can win at all. And you see I've got a rematch clause for the Intercontinental Title which I could put on the line, and you've got a WWE Title rematch clause. Why don't we put both on the line. The winner gets a chance to reclaim the IC Title for RAW and become the next WWE Champ.........
Cena: ..................you're on!............................I think you're match is next.

Rey Mysterio vs Ted DiBiase
Lets see what time Rey sets against DiBiase. The bell rings and Rey charges at Ted, obviously wanting to get on with the match. Rey delivers rights and lefts followed by stiff kicks to the mid section. DiBiase catches a kick.....inziguri by Mysterio! Rey bounces off the ropes and delivers a dropkick to the knee. Rey stomps on the back of DiBiase's head. Mysterio backs Ted into the corner and prepares a run......Rey charges........and runs into a boot in the face! DiBiase covers...1......2.......kickout! Ted picks up Rey......and hits a beautiful suplex, Rey clutches his back. DiBiase backs into the ropes and drops a knee to the face of Mysterio. Cover!.....1.....2.......kickout again by Mysterio! Ted picks up Mysterio but Rey counters with punches to the gut.......Jawbreaker. DiBiase falls into the ropes, Rey signals for ther 619...............misses! DiBiase moves out of the way! Roll Up! 1....2.......3!!!!!!!! Its over!
Winner: Ted DiBiase (Timed 6: 23)
DiBiase celebrates as Rey looks confused.
JR: Well that puts a spanner in the works! All Cena has to do now to win the bet is outlast Cody Rhodes for 6 minutes and 23 seconds!
Kings: I think Rey was too overconfident.
JR: And take Ted DiBiase lightly at your peril!

Y2J: Ross I hope you're listening carefully. If you do not give me a match with Matt Hardy next week I will proceed to make your life a misery. No one embarrasses Chris Jericho like that do you understand me? NO ONE!

John Cena vs Cody Rhodes
The match kicks off and the two opponents locking up. Rhodes delivers knees to Cena's gut. He proceeds to pound Cena's back until he is on the mat. Cody follows that up with stomps to the back of the head. Rhodes rebounds of the rope and attempts a leg drop........Cena rolls out of the way! Cena charges at Cody.....clothesline!........and another!..........and another! Cena is building up momentum quickly! Right hands from Cena. He Irish Whips Rhodes against the rope.......back body drop! Cover......1......2.......kickout! John still has 3 minutes to last! Cena has not won Rey's bet yet! Cena lifts up Cody..............suplex! Cody looks to be in pain! Cena is going up top.........Cody slowly gets to his feet...........and pushes the ref into the ropes. Cena is hung up on the turnbuckle! Rhodes nails Cena with some right hands and ascends the turnbuckle................I think he's looking for a superplex..............NO! Cena pushes Cody down to the canvas below! What does he have in store? An elbow drop!?!?! Cover!.......1...........2........................ .........Kickout!!!!!! No way!!!!! Cena struggles to his feet......wait he's been distracted. It's Rey Mysterio at the top of the ramp.....look at the clock, there’s 5 seconds left!..............A ROLL UP! 1...............2.......................3!!!!! Rhodes has beaten Cena!!!!!!! What’s the time!!!!!......................................... .......6 minutes and 23 seconds!!!! They have tied!
Winner: Cody Rhodes
JR: I don't believe it, it's a tie!
King: I'm not sure, but I guess it's down to you to sort it out!
Rey smiles at Cena who is expressionless.
JR: I expected it to be a case of who won the quickest, not who lost the quickest!

Cody Rhodes has remained in the ring, and has been joined by Ted DiBiase.
*Orton's Music Hits*
Randy Orton slowly makes his way to the ring.
Orton: I'm not going to make a big deal of my victory last night. You aren't going to see any confetti or hear any music. I'm simply going to explain the magnitude of what I have achieved. By defeating John Cena last night, I have become not only the most powerful force on RAW, but the most powerful force in the WWE!
JR: Now what one second!
JR gets a mic and enters the ring. Orton looks annoyed.
JR: I think you'll find the boss around here is me. You Orton dance to my tune, not the other way around! Now I wasn't sure this whole General Manager thing was for me but now I've seen you run your I'm glad I'm in a position to shut you up. I think it's time to tell you a few home truths Randy Orton. If it wasn't for your cronies DiBiase and Rhodes here, you wouldn't have achieved a fraction of the success that you have with them to have your back. No you tell us that you three are tight, but I think these fans here want to find out just how tight you really are. And they will, at Backlash. The WWE Championship will be on the line in a triple threat match. It will be Randy Orton defending against......................Ted DiBiase...............& Cody Rhodes!
