Re: My WWE

WWE Wrestlemania 25
Houston, Texas

-Opening video package highlighting the Randy Orton/HHH feud, the World Title feud, the Hardy brothers feud and finally the HBK/Taker feud, will the streak end tonight?

-Huge opening pyro as we are welcomed by JR to the granddaddy of them all, Wrestlemania. He and Matt Striker run through the Smackdown card, highlighting the World Title Triple Threat, who will Vickie side with?. They then discuss the Extreme Rules match between Jeff & Matt and the 25-diva battle royal, and they also plug the Tag Title Unification bout between Morrison/Miz and The Colons. Then Michael Cole & Jerry Lawler plug the Orton/HHH bout, the HBK/Taker match, the MITB match, the Y2J Legends match, but first we have the Intercontinental Championship on the line. We head up to Lillian Garcia.

Match 1: Intercontinental Championship-John Bradshaw Layfield© v Rey Mysterio.

JBL enters first in his limo with a black jacket and a towel wrapped round his neck, followed by Rey, who wore blue, red and white attire. Cole reminds us that JBL promised us that he would make history tonight.

After JBL dominated the bout, Rey fought back in the usual face manner hitting all his moves before going up top for a Frog Splash, but JBL caught him with a boot as Rey came down. JBL then set up Rey for a Clothesline from Hell but Rey tripped him and he fell on the ropes. Rey set up the 619, hit it, but as he went for his seated seanton, JBL smashed him with a Clothesline from Hell, covered, and got the pin.

Winner and STILL Intercontinental Champion-JBL.

After the match JBL picks up the mic. He reminds us of how he has had a great career, he has been World Champion, Tag Team Champion, United States Champion and now the Intercontinental Champion. He says he has done it all, and then pauses in thought. He says this is why he has made this decision, he has done it all, and he has just won on the grandest stage of them all in his home state of Texas. He says he couldn’t have ended it on a better note, so therefore has decided to retire!. He drops the mic and leaves with the belt.

Cole says that JBL sure made history tonight, as he leaves with his title and a grin on his face. Rey looks on hurt and disappointed, and Lawler comments on how unlucky Rey was tonight.

Backstage we see HHH taping up. HBK enters, and says he’s concerned for The Game tonight, as he’s facing an evil, demented animal in Randy Orton. HHH halts HBK, and tells him that he’s beaten Orton before, and tonight he will destroy Randy, break him in half, and he says HBK should be more concerned with The Undertaker. HBK reminds HHH that he is “Mr Wrestlemania”, and tonight he will do what HHH never managed, and end The Undertaker’s streak. They stare at each other for a brief moment, before HBK leaves, a strained relationship between two close friends.

We get a promotional package highlighting some of the greatest moments of the 2 tag team titles, and a brief package on the Colons before Miz & Morrison storm in on it and their rivalry is played out in it.

Jim Ross & Matt Striker will commentate on this match-up.

Out first are Miz & Morrison followed by the Colons, all in navy blue. Miz & Morrison in usual attire.

Match 2: Tag Title Unification Match-World Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz v WWE Tag Team Champions Primo Colon & Carlito.

After a steady back and forth bout, Primo gets the hot tag to Carlito, who comes in and cleans house. He sets up John Morrison for the backstabber, but Morrison rolls through, rolls up Carlito...

1...
2...
Primo breaks up the pin!

In comes The Miz to tackle Primo, they brawl outside, and unbeknownst to the ref Primo smashes The Miz with one of the WWE Tag Team Titles!
On the inside Morrison is lining up Carlito, but as Carlito turns he ducks under Morrison, turns and hits a Backstabber! He covers for the pin.

Winners and NEW Undisputed Tag Team Champions-The Colons.

After the match The Colons celebrate as John Morrison berates The Miz before leaving clutching the back of his head. Animosity between the 2?

We now hit a video package showing the Y2J/Legends feud, starting with highlights of each legend being inducted into the HoF, before Jericho flashes into it, and it shows the feud, highlighting the beatdowns by Jericho upon Flair, Piper, Steamboat and Snuka. The promo ends with Flair saying “You will show us some respect Jericho, we will not let this lie”, “Flair and your friends, come Wrestlemania 25, your time stealing the spotlight will be over.”

Back live they show Mickey Rourke live in the front row, smiling away with the fans.

Out first is Chris Jericho, to massive heel heat, and he stares down Mickey Rourke before entering the ring. The 3 legends all come to the edge of the ramp before Flair’s music hits and they all walk down to the ring, hug and shake Rourke’s hand before we get to start the match.

Match 3: 3 on 1 Handicap Match-Chris Jericho v Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, Jimmy “The Superfly” Snuka & “Rowdy” Roddy Piper (with “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair).

Jericho dominated for the majority of the match, apart from one spell where all 3 legends teamed up and took him to the outside, they couldn’t cope with his athleticism. He took Steamboat out by smashing him into the ring post on the outside, counting him out, he then threw Snuka into the ringpost causing him to be called KO’d by the ref, leaving it down to Y2J and Piper. Piper was trying to keep up, but Jericho hit a Codebreaker, locked in the Walls Of Jericho and had Piper yelling in pain before...

....The Glass Shattered!

Out came Stone Cold!, he got in the ring, and Jericho threw the ref at him, and Stone Cold accidentally knocked the ref down, Jericho tried to escape round the ring, but Flair and Steamboat blocked the outside, and Austin covered the ring, before Jericho came face to face with Rourke, hurled abuse at him, before Rourke slapped him!, Steamboat and Flair hurled Y2J in the ring, Piper distracted the ref as Austin hit a stunner!, he jumped out the ring, Piper covered Jericho, and got the win!.

Winners-The Legends(Steamboat, Snuka and Piper).

After the match Austin hit Jericho with another stunner, before telling Mickey Rourke to hit him, and he did with a big right hand! Rourke also kicked Y2J back down to the mat before The Legends threw him out the ring. They then celebrated as Jericho struggled to the back furious and embarrassed.

We now get a thank you to AC/DC for supplying the official theme tune, and a reminder that RAW’s live tomorrow night.

We then go backstage to Edge warming up, Vickie comes in and Edge asks what she wants. Vickie says she’s terribly sorry for what’s happened and that she hopes Edge can do the business tonight and bring the World Title home. Edge responds by saying he can do the business in more ways than one, and they end up embracing.

A history of MITB package is aired, and we get Lillian Garcia explaining the rules.

Out first is CM Punk, followed by Mark Henry, then Kane, Shelton Benjamin, MVP, Finlay, Kofi Kingston and finally Christian.

Match 4: Money In the Bank Ladder Match-CM Punk v Mark Henry v Kane v Shelton Benjamin v United States Champion MVP v Finlay v Kofi Kingston v Christian.

Action-packed high-spot fest. Shelton Benjamin ran up a ladder , jumped onto another and clotheslined Christian off. Kane and Mark Henry climbed a ladder but Kane choke slammed Henry off, before reaching for the briefcase, but suddenly the lights flashed red, and a video aired showin a mask before asking Kane “Do you remember me, Kane?, you do now, I am your worst nightmare!”

We cut back and Kane is in a fit of rage and off the ladder, he goes round and choke slams everybody before storming up the ramp.

At the end CM Punk looks like he’s about to win, but Christian bashes him with a chair and he falls off in agony. Christian climbs the ladder but MVP sets one up next to him, they begin trading blows and both get their hands on the briefcase. Mark Henry pushes MVP’s ladder down and he falls onto Shelton and Kofi, but Finlay attacks Henry with the Shillelagh, he tries to get to Christian but he’s already got the briefcase and has won the match!

Winner-Christian.

Christian takes the briefcase back up the ramp ASAP as Finlay and Henry argue back in the ring.

Wrestlemania 26 host is announced. It is (insert WM26 host).

We now get the HoF class of 2009 presentation with Gene Okerlund as host. We run through all the inductees, before we cut backstage to an indignant Y2J with an ice pack to the side of his head, before Mickie James music hits and we kick off the 25-Diva Battle Royal(Aka toilet break).

Backstage Vickie is with Big Show. She tells him that she’s sorry for dragging him into all this, and that feelings aside, she hopes he can go out and capture the gold tonight. Big Show tells her not to be sorry, as it’s a blessing for him to have found such a wonderful woman to fall in love with, and that he’d do her proud tonight and they can have some fun afterwards. They kiss before Big Show leaves.

Match 5: 25-Diva Battle Royal

We come down to a final 5 of Michelle McCool, Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, Melina and Maryse. Maryse eliminated Michelle with a head scissors as Michelle was trying to eliminate her, but is then immediately knocked off the ring apron by Mickie James.
Melina and Mickie go after Beth, they force her to the apron, but Beth tosses Melina over and then sends Mickie flying on top of her! Beth wins!

Winner-Beth Phoenix.

We see replays of the match before we head to a Hardy vs. Hardy promo.

After the Hardy v Hardy feud promo Jeff’s music hits, he comes down looking very focused and determined. Out comes Matt, no gestures from him, and Jeff charges back up the ramp and tackles him. They brawl on the stage, before Jeff dropkicks Matt over the side!, SWANTON BOMB by Jeff Hardy!.

Both men remain motionless on the floor...but Jeff gets up!, he drags Matt back onto the stage, goes backstage, brings back a table, and sets Matt onto it. He climbs the stage, and ANOTHER SWANTON BOMB! Referees and EMTs come out and tend to both Matt and Jeff, and both are stretchered out of the arena.

Winner-No Contest.

Cole and Lawler replay the amazing events that just occurred, before we head to a highlights package of the night so far.

We then hit a Package for the Triple Threat Match highlighting the essential role Vickie has played in all this, and that secretly none of the guys want her, just the World Heavyweight Championship.

Vickie is backstage with John Cena. She tells he was right, they’re just using her and that she wants him to go out and take the gold and teach them a lesson. Cena tells her to shut up, he’s seen what she’s being doing tonight, the politics, and that he doesn’t care. Tonight is about him, walking out the champ. He slaps Vickie on the but before saying “Cheer up chump”, and leaving, with Vickie trying to bottle her emotions up, but eventually breaking down.

Cena’s music hits, and he comes down to a huge ovation. Then Big Show comes out to boos and finally Edge, in his black and red attire, to all his pyro.

Match 7: World Heavyweight Championship-Triple Threat-Edge© v Big Show v John Cena

Big Show dominated the early going, with neither Cena nor Edge able to overcome him. However Edge brought in a chair, and smashed Show with it, and hit him repeatedly with it, before he was being supported by the ropes. Cena and Edge eventually got him over the ropes before they had a stare down.

After a multitude of back and forth typical Cena/Edge stuff, Cena took control, and locked in the STF, but Show leant the ropes towards Edge so he could grab them, and he hit Cena over the head from the outside. Edge then set Cena up for the Spear, but Cena countered into the Attitude Adjuster, hit it, but then was almost immediately caught by a Chokeslam. But before Show could hit it, Vickie came into the ring and pleaded with Show to stop, saying she was so sorry, Show dropped Cena, turned, dodged a Spear by Edge, WHO SPEARED VICKIE!!, Edge looked in horror, before realising his fate, turning into a Chokeslam by Big Show, but as soon as he hit it Cena picked him up for the Attitude Adjuster, hit it, and covered for the pin!.

Winner and NEW World Heavyweight Champion-John Cena.

John Cena walked up the ramp smiling and celebrating as Vickie sobbed her eyes out in the corner, before she berated Big Show who was lying on the mat, screaming at him for attacking her husband. Show then grabbed her by the throat, saying it was all her fault, and as he was about to Chokeslam her Edge speared him!
Vickie then went to hug Edge who pushed her away, before Spearing her AGAIN!, and leaving.

The attendance is announced as a sellout..

We get a draft preview for Raw a week tomorrow.

We get a lengthy McMahon/Orton package, highlighting how vile Orton really is, ending with the line from his theme “I hear voices” playing over and over again.

First out is Randy Orton, to a mass of boos, on his own, in his usual attire.
Out came HHH, on his own, in his usual attire.

Match 8: WWE Championship-HHH© v Randy Orton

This was a hectic brawl, they went to the outside early, Orton getting bashed around like crazy by HHH, who was in complete control.

However, later on, DiBiase and Rhodes came out and distracted the ref, and Orton low blowed HHH, and locked him in a Figure 4! HHH refused to tap, but Rhodes and DiBiase were pulling the ropes away from him, but Shane & Vince came down and smashed them with a Sledgehammer & a chair respectively, and HHH got to the ropes.

Orton set him up for the RKO, but HHH countered into a Spinebuster. HHH then set Orton up for the Pedigree, and hit it!

He chucks it out the ring, sets Orton up for the Pedigree, hits it!. But Steph and Batista urge him to do it again...He lines it up, but Rhodes escapes the McMahons grasps and gets in the ring, and Batista comes across and takes him out...

...HHH goes for the Pedigree, but Orton reverses into an RKO!, and as Tista desperately tries to get in the ring, the referee counts the pin!

Winner and NEW WWE Champion-Randy Orton.

Orton escapes into the crowd with the belt as the McMahons look on dismayed. Batista enraged Batista Bombs Rhodes & DiBiase, and HHH pedigrees them to boot.

JR reminds us of the final match of the evening, The Undertaker v HBK.

We get a lengthy video package of the history of this rivalry.

Back in the arena Taker gets his customary WM entrance, with his druids and their torches, as he proceeds to the ring.

Not to be outdone, just like @ WM12, HBK comes down from the rafters in all white to the stage, and then sets off his pyro and goes to the ring in his normal fashion.

Main Event: The Undertaker v “HBK” Shawn Michaels.

After an absolute classic(so good I couldn’t type it), it came down to HBK lining up Sweet Chin Music for the 3rd time(he failed on his 1st 2 attempts), but he managed it this time!
