Re: Rich "The Future" Stone

March 25th Adrenaline Rush

Quote:
San Diego California- 6:30 AM

A brand new start to the day. The scene opens up with the sun coming over the water on the beaches of San Diego, California. The sun over the tree gives a good feeling of a new life, a new start, and a new chance to prove yourself to the world. On the beach there is a few people that are starting their day with a morning jog. People conversing, dogs running anything for people to get their minds off the harsh reality of their normal day jobs. The camera zooms out revealing a white house with a balcony that over looks the incredible view. A figure walks out from behind one of the sliding glass doors on the top floor. The figure stands out on the balcony shirtless looking out upon the horizon watching the sunrise. He watches as the waves slowly wash a shore. He watches as everyone on the beach gets a start to their day. He leans out farther onto the balcony and leans on the black bars that contrast the house. Still looking out at the sun, he looks relaxed, calm, and at peace. What could be thinking of? What problems could any person have out here? The perfect view, the perfect house… there is not a person in the world that would trade for this. A perfect morning… not a cloud in the sky, not a trace of rain, a nice morning temperature of 75 degrees… he is hiding something it is a bit obvious. The question can still be raised, why would someone have a problem with the perfect day? The glass door opens again and a beautiful woman comes out in a white silk nightgown. She walks up besides him and puts her arms around him. He comes to a smile and he leans and kisses her on the cheek. She gives a cute smile, like a high school girl that is in love with her boyfriend type of smile. She stands besides him and takes in the morning sky, yet even with this perfect brunette beside him he still is hiding something from her. A true emotion, a true feeling, is all hidden behind his eyes. Has she done something to upset him? No that couldn’t be it… the house they are in his superstar status she would have to be the perfect girl to him to still be at his side with him getting an instant look of disgust on his face. No… It’s something else. The woman goes back inside after kissing him on the cheek. A camera cuts to an over the shoulder view of this man.

Rich turns and looks into the camera. As always, he stands looking directly into the camera with the same cocky, arrogant attitude as if he were to be at an arena. He turns his head to the camera’s left and looks out onto the same people that are trying to start their day off with a walk on the beach or jogging. There is even a guy throwing some punches and kick into the wind. Rich puts on his soon to be trademark cocky smile then looks back into the camera.

Stone: Look at all them out there. Every single one of them has their own secret agenda. Hiding behind a selfish motive of personal gain. The all claim to be good people. What is a good person. A person that sells out to their true feelings and say that they actually give a damn about what others care about? Is it a person that will give you their last dollar so that you don’t go hungry? Is a good person a person that will do what they think is best for the benefit of thousands rather than their own self? Maybe that is something that has been questioned forever. But ironically enough, all these people have something in common. They do this stuff to get attention toward themselves. They all hate selfish people but even the so called humanitarians are taking up television time from people that have worked their entire lives to find their big break. If they are great people then why don’t they let people who deserve a shot get that shot? I've heard that some of the people that do great stuff for communities and stuff like that are some of the meanest people in the world. People who shine in the spotlight for doing nothing but help people are people who wouldn’t look at someone on the street asking for a bite to hold them until next week when someone is nice enough to give it to them. Don’t get me wrong for a second. I am nowhere a nobel prize. The thing is I don’t try to hide my true colors, and when I actually have, it eats me inside. I can’t look myself in the mirror and I cant sleep at night knowing this. You saw my girlfriend come out here; she knows that I am the most honest person that you will ever meet. I hate hiding behind facades and saying that I am someone that I am not. I'm not as big of an asshole as people make me out to be. Honest is not a sign of arrogance. Saying you are the best and you are not is arrogance. I am not an arrogant person, I am a confident person, I say I am the best and I can go out to the ring and prove it each and every single week. Are you kidding me? As I was saying before, its very obvious on how the people out here are liars and hypocrites. You saw that guy down on the beach throwing some kicks right? I see that guy down here every say, every single morning he is out here doing the same thing every day. He looks like he knows what he is doing, he looks like he is a pro fighter. He’s got a solid physique, and a solid base. The thing is that people think he is good fighter, but he doesn’t think about it. You watch him out there he has not confidence in himself as a fighter. He just sits out there with his shirt off to pick up girls. He’s a disgrace to actually people that want to be a fighter, but I digress from this I can spend all day on this topic. It is truly disgusting… the way that people pretend to be the best.

Rich turns and looks out at the rising sun one more time. The camera moves to Rich’s right and he continues to look forward into the sun, squinting at the bright sun.

Stone: Many people have asked me a very stupid question. I don’t know if it is out of jealously or if it is just because they have to know. But they ask me what gives me the right to think that I am better than everyone else? Why am I the person that gets to claim to be the best? You know I think it is pretty easy. You see out of everyone in CWA I think I am the most dedicated to being the best. Some are in it for the fortune, and the fame. Some are truly dedicated to the company but they are lazy. Me on the other hand, I'm different. I get up to train at 5: 00 every morning and I go out to train, whether it is at this beach, or if it at a gym. Either way I don’t take a day off. Never do I take a day off. Of course I take breaks I'm not a robot but never a full day off. Maybe I wont go lift one day but I will always get up and run. Maybe I wont go and hit the bag, but quarter after 5 in the morning I will never be in bed. I know I am not the biggest, fastest, or the strongest, but I will never and I repeat never be out worked in a match. I am at in iron man match shape every single day. If I have to go 60 minutes with some one then so be it. I will be there at the end with a smile on my face knowing that 15 minutes in you were gassed and tired out. No one will ever be say that they beat me endurance wise. It’s something that I have prided my self one since I have been born. Anything that I have done I made sure that I was in a better shape than everyone else. That’s why I was a two-time all American. That’s why I was a former MMA champion, and that is why I am going to be the future CWA champion. There is not a single person that can honestly say that they are in better shape than me. Not a person on the roster can claim to be a better than me when I am on top of my game. That is why I have this “scowl” on my face all the time. People… people actually think I am really not the best this company has to offer. Critics, management, and those parasites in the crowd think that I am all talk. There has been only two people in the company that have put me on the mat for three second and one of them I avenged just last week. Top Dog felt my wrath of the “New” Rich Stone. And Logan V will be another victim when the time comes I can assure you that one for sure one day his destiny will be derailed and he will have his back on the mat for three seconds with me looking down at him with my foot on his chest crushing him like the worm that he is.

Beneath on the ladder like where everyone else will be. Technically however, I am not the best in the company because there is something that is missing from my life. And if you haven’t noticed yet, there isn’t many things in my life that I am missing. Look at all the things I have here. I have a incredible home, in a perfect city, in a perfect location, I have a incredibly hot girl sitting in my bed, I have money, fame, and I have a Hennessey Viper ready to rip the road into pieces. What else could I need? The only thing I need is a CWA championship. Am I going to sit here and tell you all the things that I would give up for it? No because there is not a thing I would trade for it. Everything is almost perfect so why give up any of it? I don’t need to be pitied, I don’t want to be pitied. I love people looking at me wishing they had what I have. Even multi millionaires look at me and feel beneath me because of what I have. They can have all the money and power in the world but they are compensating for their insecurities. Every yacht, every plane, they are trying to fill a void. I have everything I need and there is just one thing that I a missing and at Exile I will get it.

Rich turns away from the balcony and walks into his house. He walks into his room from the outside and the camera follows him. The inside of the house looks just as good as the outside. Everything perfect matches in color and gives a warm relaxed feeling. Rich walks through the room and picks up a shirt off the top of the dresser and throws it over his shoulder. The logo of the shirt can be made up. He did not do it intentionally but it never hurts to plug the college you got your start in. The LA in UCLA is what is shown on the shirt. The camera follows Rich as he walks out of the room. Rich walks down the hallway and down his spiral staircase. He walks out the front door as he throws the shirt on and the camera follows him out the door. Rich walks over to his garage and uses his code to unlock it. The door rises up and a black and white Dodge Viper is sitting up the hood staring at the camera.

That brings me tonight match up against Joey Nicolas the two time and current CWA light heavyweight champion. Now he is one of those guys who is technically above me on the CWA social ladder. With a championship around his waist he has a bit of leverage when it comes to respect around here because he has proven himself to be an asset to this company. I have a lot of respect for Joey I really do. Regardless of what some of these hypocrites think I actually have respect for people. See Joey and I have something in common we mean what we say, and we say what we mean. Joey doesn’t beat around the bush, and neither do I. However there is something about Joey that just gets under my skin. It just bugs me to death. He was one of those rich spoiled kids that got what ever they anted. He probably paid for wrestling school out of Daddy’s credit card. Don’t get me wrong he is a great talent, but you can be the best in the company if you had to politic your way to the top. Its like the girl who sleeps with the boss and she is instantly the next in line for a title shot. I earned everything that you see behind me. Every single thing that I have I worked my entire life for. I hate guys like Joey who all of a sudden think that they can use money to get into the spotlight. Sure the talent that he has goes a very far way but in the end, he used his money to get what he wants. He lives in his own little words up in the clouds that he is above everyone else and that we are all below and unworthy of him. Sure I think that too but that is when I am in the ring with people. Outside of the ring I know my place with all the superstars and I don’t shun myself out from them. They give me respect I give it back It is as simple as that. The fans however I have no respect for. Once again I am going to stay off of that topic. Joey its not that I do not like you its more of the fact that you are in my way of what I was destined for. Yes I know I was going to stop talking about my destiny but I have no choice it has fallen all to perfectly for me. What else can I possibly say. I win tonight I am on perfect pace to capture my CWA gold at Exile regardless of what Guardian Devil wants or not. This match sets the scene perfectly. One week you beat a champion, and the next you become a champion. Joey has no idea what is coming his way. He can go out and spend his daddy’s credit card on his rental car, and his cheap hookers for the night. I am ready for a fight and I am ready to destroy Joey if he doesn’t come prepared for his match tonight. Watch film, hit the treadmill, and hit the weight room. Do what ever you want Joey. At the end of it all you will look in the mirror like the little girl that you are and you will see that you cannot beat me. It is as simple as that you are no way able to pin me down for three seconds. Who’s the real deal now, Joey?

Rich smiles and moves away from the hood of his car. He takes his keys out of his pocket and opens the door. He steps in the door and starts up the 700hp engine. Through the tinted windshield you can see that there is nothing bothering anymore like he should have been before. Looks as if he has gotten a lot off of his mind. He shifts into first gear then slowly rolls out of the garage. He turns to the camera’s left and then speeds away from his house. The camera zooms in on the lisence plate that simply says, “DESTINED.” One word that can sum up everything that Rich is. The camera fades to black ending the scene.
