Re: Rich "The Future" Stone

]March 11th Adrenaline Rush

Quote:
Adrenaline Rush comes back for ma commercial and the camera is over the arena. The crowd is buzzing in anticipation for more action. The lights in the arena go out and a single spotlight hits the middle of the ring. The spotlight shows Rich Stone sitting in a director type chair in a black Armani suit and sunglasses. There is a microphone sitting on his lap but he doesn’t look ready to talk just yet. He looks around at the crowd in front of them with sign of his name. The more he looks around the more pissed off he seems to become. A look of confidence has turned o a scowl and a looks of contempt toward the screaming audience. They start to chant his name out of no where. The more he hears it the more it pisses him off. No one in the ring has any idea why he looks so angered by it, and the rest of the crew around the ring is just as confused as the crowd is. Very slowly he moves his left arm and removes his sunglasses from his face. His eyes have a swagger that can be only matched by the swagger of champion. Confidence, arrogance every thing that Rich Stone is, told in these two eyes. He breaks the confusion and raises the microphone up to his mouth.

Stone: It would be greatly appreciated if you all were to never do that again. I do not need you ingrates to cheer me on anymore because you are al nothing but selfish little sheep that do whatever us in CWA tell you to do.

The crowd starts to boo and the look on Rich’s face becomes more relaxed.

Stone: Ahh, boo a sound that is music to everyone’s ears. That sound is the equivalent of cheers if you really think about it. Either way you screaming my name out, but boos are something else. They give out a little more. They have a little of something that I don’t get around here. And that is respect. You boo because you “hate” me but you are really telling me how much you hate that I am what your not. You wish you were me, and that is as much respect as anything else. You think of me in such a bad way that you will take time out of your day, and money out of your wallets to tell me how much you hate me.

The crowd continues to boo at Rich but he shrugs it off.

Stone: Now I know many of you are asking yourself, why did I “turn” on you? Why would I leave behind my “great fans” and go on this selfish path on loneliness. You want a honest answer well I will give you it to a tee. *deep breath* Basically I came to terms with the fact that the fans are the reason I've lost matches. You are all the sole reason that I am not the CWA champion right now and why I had to fight to get out of the opener spot. You would think that a person would try to use your support to will them forward, but once again you are all wrong. Every single one is to blame for the way that I was losing. Every single one of you is to blame. And it is that simple ladies and gentlemen. Wrestling is a single person sport, how is a bunch of screaming drunk sheep yelling my name going to help? Let it soak in, realize that I am right and besides the fact you with out you I am not getting as big of a paycheck, you are useless.

The crowd goes into a frenzy of boos and Rich finally cracks a smile as he sits in the chair even more relaxed then before.

Stone: Why do I need to pander to use parasites? You all don’t help me win matches if anything you are a distraction. Waving, saluting to you, and letting you “will me on.” For what reason? To sell some t-shirts. Look at some of the best of all times, they spent their career with the crowd against them. Ric Flair, Andre the giant, Ted Dibase, Roddy Piper, and countless other. They all the same disdain for you ingrates that I do. And look at them legends that countless people try to emulate them and follow their path. They wanted to be the best and they learned right off the bat you all are not the keys to get there. It hurt doesn’t it? It hurts knowing that going home with sore throats screaming you heads off for your favorites goes for not. This ring, these arenas are for wrestlers, not for you. The only thing you are good for is giving me my paycheck at the end of a week. All your hard earned money goes into, my pockets and the funny thing is I couldn’t care less about each and everyone of you. Mindless sheep that’s all you are, Anderson backstage makes you believe whatever he wants you to believe. I hope this is getting through to you all. I know its very hard to comprehend at once, but no one else was going to tell you it so I might as well do it.

The crowd starts to go into a deeper frenzy of cheers. Rich stands up and adjusts his suit. He slowly takes out his sunglasses and then put them over his eyes. He looks around at the crowd, and a small smile crosses his face. He takes a deep breath after fixing his suit and raises the microphone back to his mouth.

Stone: Speaking of speaking out. If you haven’t listened to anything recently, I have been shunned out by the CWA management when It comes to my matches. I have opened the show since day one and its crap. Why open the show with me? Doing that, you just lose your interest in the show by the next match. Why watch the rest when you already seen he best? You are looking at a the uncrowned champion right now. A king with out his crown, and as most people would say a diamond in the rough. Its just a matter of time where there will gold around my waste. Short amount of time where I can stand in front of you ungrateful insects with a my arms raised high and a gold belt over my shoulder.

More boos flare up from the crowd but Rich shrugs them off.

Stone: As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted. I was at my house the other day and I looked in the mirror for a long time just trying to figure out who I was. While looking there I finally realized something, which is why my performance isn’t up to the level that I know it should be. It has to do with this destiny that I cling to so tightly. I think that one day I am going to be the best in the world. And you know what… That was destiny was achieved since day one. I just never took the time to think about it. Who on this show can truly say that they are better than me? Who can look themselves in the mirror and truly say that Rich Stone is NOT better than me? I see the look that people give me when I walk through the hallway and that question is embedded into EVERYONE’s face. Everyone in that locker room knows that I cannot be beat. I wanted to be the best, and I was the only one that didn’t think that I was the best. And know that I look around at everyone it become apart that I am. So luckily for all of you, no more talk about Destiny and all of that stuff in my façade that I actually like you. You people love the underdog story don’t you? You love hearing about the guy who will never give up, never back down, and who works from the bottom. That’s not me anymore. From me you are going to see the kingpin story. That guy that everyone will have to raise their game up to match. The one guy that you have to beat to become the best in the company. Every single one of you will have your heroes crushed beneath my feet like the worms and roaches that they are.

The crowd starts to boo again, Rich takes a step back and sits back down in the chair behind him. He adjusts his tie and then raises the microphone back up.

Stone: Booing to facts aren’t you? Having a feeling that you are only doing this because you don’t want to believe what I am saying. Denial is what is called for you slower ones. You don’t want to listen to what I have to say, you don’t want to think about the reality of my words. So to stay in your little fantasy world, surrounded by your hopes and dreams you boo me trying to science me. I would too don’t worry it actually makes perfect sense. As stupid and worthless as you are your boos are proving all my points. I am at the top, and like I said before it is only going to be a matter of time before you are all forced to give me the respect I deserve as champion.

Now for entertainment tonight, I am in a match later tonight with Top Dog… again. We faced off a couple weeks back. And not a shocker to everyone else but me, I lost that match. Top Dog pinned me in the middle of this very ring.

The crowd starts to cheer at the lose by Rich a couple weeks back. Rich leans back in his chair and looks up in the ceiling. Waiting for the crowd to die down from mocking him. Very relaxed and composed he sits back up normally looking at his watch on his wrist. He hears the crowd die and starts talking again.

Stone: Cute very, very cute. You hear that I lost and it excites you about the only thing people in Dallas have to cheer for… How ‘bout them cowboys? (the crowd boos) Anyway as I was saying, last time I was in the ring he beat me fair and square. But the thing I have one gripe I have is that I didn’t come to that match full prepared to fight. I took this guy lightly and I got caught. Don’t get what I'm saying twisted, he is a great athlete. He is not on my level. He cant compare to the thing that I can do, and he never will get to that level. If I come at him with everything I got this match will be over in a short amount of time. That acronym that I gave kind of applies to this moment if you really think about. Mostly the last letter. The “Y” in the word destiny. Why does the whole CWA locker room bother to want to get in my way? Personally if I were them, I would just not do it. Lets get back on track, Top Dog last time we faced off I dominated the whole match but you caught me and stole my win. Think about this though you had a chance to watch me in action seeing as I was your debut match and I had a match or two under my belt. Me on the other hand had to go in blind with no knowledge on who you were and what you offered In the ring. Yet I still dominated that match until I got caught and you know that. This time however, I'm ready for you and I am not going to take you lightly at all. Domination from bell to bell is what you can expect from me. My time from to shine has arrived and each person in my way will feel my wrath slowly but surely until I get what is mine and that is a CWA championship. Top Dog your future is going to be written in Stone!

Son of a Gun by Cory Gunz plays over the PA system as Rich entrance theme. He stands up out of the chair and place the microphone down on the chair and walks out of the ring. He walks up the ramp with his cocky arrogant walk. The crowd screams at him but he ignores it as he walks behind the curtain and the camera fades to black.
