Re: The Wrestling Clinic

A video package is shown which is now pumped up with the first two weeks of the show and plus the pretaped footage of this week. "It's my Life" by Bon Jovi is playing the background. A camera flys over the crowd and they go wild chanting. It's My Life fades and Paul London's music hits. London is dressed in casual clothes and doesn't run to the ring. A "London" chant is flowing through out the fans as he gets in the ring and asks for a mic.

Paul London: "Two weeks ago I beat a former ECW World Champion. Just last week I beat a former NWA World Champion who claimed he'd take our belt and leave before I shut him up. At Wrestlelusion, I might find myself facing TWO MORE former World Champions in Sabu and Rob Van Dam, and I DARE you guys to win. I dare you, because it's just what I need to establish MYSELF as a World Champion. Bu trust me, you, regardless of who it is, come Wrestlelustion I am going to walk out as The Wrestling Clinic Champion....a champion for you people."

Paul London points to the crowd and puts the mic down. His music hits and he makes his way back to the back.

A Petey Williams promo shows with footage of him working out, jump roping and jogging before leading up to a video of him hitting the Canadian Destroyer fading into a picture of him with text on the side that says "Petey Williams at Wrestlelustion".

Val Venis & Eugene vs. D'Lo Brown & Elijah Burke
Quote:
D'Lo Brown and Elijah Burke make their seperate entrances. D'Lo isn't too much trying to draw heat as opposed to Elijah Burke who flaunts his distaste for the crowd, taunting them a little bit andteasing his hand before pulling away. Venis and Eugene enter together under Eugene's music and they play the crowd a lot, oth ofthem interacting. From when the bell rings the match is pretty even all the way through. Eugene and D'Lo start the match. D'Lo tries several times trying to get the advantage but Eugene reverses every time in a joking manner. Eventually D'Lo gets frustrated and tags in Elijah. Eugene tries the same antics. They work at first, but Burke finally hits a hard clotheline stopping Eugene in his tracks. Elijah Burke dominates him for a couple of minute until Eugene makes the hot tag to Val Venis. Venis lights house for only about 15 seconds until te numbers become two much with Eugene down and both Burke and Brown healthy. Burke and brown start working on Venis pretty stiff, with tags in and out. It's Brown in the ring when Venis is able to hit an Enzeguiri and try for the Tag. Just as Venis gets to Eugene, though, Eugene drops to the floor and walks out. While Venis is staring at the turnbuckle, takes an Elijah Express and when he drops to the mat he takes a Low Down Splash allowing for Brown and burke to get the win.
After a little bit of capitalization of Eugene turning his back on Venis, and him looking more serious than ever, the screen goes to the titantron where a hype video of Sonjay Dutt is shown. It's a very fast pace 30 seconed video of Dutt in high flying action. The video comes to a sudden stop with a picture of him on the screen with text that says "Sonjay Dutt at Wrestlelution".

Sabu vs. Ken Doane
Quote:
Ken Doane makes his way to the ring, storming down, as if he was angry at the world. Sabu's music hits and we wait about 5 seconds for him to come out the curtain but nothing. The lights go off for only about 2 seconds and when they turn back on Sabu is attacking Ken Doane. Sabu dominates the first half of the match, not showing as much high risk action as he would usually. It's mostly Snapmares, Body Slams and Suplexs followed by jumping Legdrops and things of the sorts. After taking quite a lick of beatings, Doane is able to reverse and find himself on the winning end of the match. It isn't for long though, that he makes his come back. Doane brutalizes Sabu a little bit with emphasis on punching in several places in the ring before attemtping to throw Sabu into the Turnbuckle. This is reverse, however, and Doane finds himself in the turnbuckle and caght but a flying legdrop. Sabu then gets onto the top ropes as Doane fals out and his a chairless version of the Arabian Facebuster for the win to advance in the Tournament.
In the back we are in RobyD's office as he's reading through some papers when Rob Conway, Sylvan Genier, Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch blast into his office, all screaming at once.

RobyD:"Alright, shut up! What the hell do you guys want?"

Rob Conway: "What we all want is for La Resistance to be in the Tag Match at Wresltelustion!"

Cade and Murdoch quickly looks over at Conway and snap back.

Lance Cade: "That's not what we want, we want me and Cade to be in the Tag match at Wrestlelution!"

The all start arguing at the same time again.

RobyD: "ALRIGHT! sine none of you were in TWC two weeks ago and couldn't compete in opening rounds, I'll tell you what. Next week, La Resistance vs. Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch and the winner advances to the Tag Match. Good? Now go away!"

The Bashams vs. X-Pac & Justin Credible
Quote:
The entire match is pretty even with back and forth offence, quick reverses and false finishes, even early on. It's a quick match, to say the least. The highlight of the match was Credible hitting the Piledriver on Danny Basham only for Danny to be pulled out for the old switcharoo, but X-Pac Tagging in and as soon as Doug gets in him being hit by the X-Factor for the pin.
Paul Heyman: "Wait, it's tied up, 1-1 for all three teams, who go on to the match at Wrestlelustion!?"
Eric Bischoff "Probably none of them. It'll be La Resistance for the Tag Titles next week, right?"

Chris Masters' music hits, and he gracefull makes his way to the ring, stunning entrance and all. The crowd, instead of being in awe, is piping a chorus of boos. Masters grabs a mic from an official and begins talking.

Chris Masters: "Do I look great or what? I mean really, new company, but the same old stunning pecs! And as stunning as they are, it's a real shame that Chris Masters doesn't have a match atm Wrestlelustion....so here is what I am proposing..."

Masters is interrupted by D'Lo Brown's music as he makes his way to the ring with a mic.

D'Lo Brown: "Well, Mr. Masterpiece, not many people have known me to be a talker.... but I see that you've been overlooked...and I've been overlooked...so how about you and me..."

D'Lo Brown is now interrupted by Elijah Burke's music, and HE makes his way to the ring with a mic of his own.

Elijah Burke: "Well as opposed to you, my black friend, I am a bit of a talker, so I'll be the one to put it like this: you Chris Masters was overlooked and you D'Lo Brown was overlooked. I was overlooked, so how about us three go to Wrestlelustion and you two let me slap you around a little bit so I can prove myself?"

RobyD's music now hits and he makes his way to the top of the ramp with a mic.

RobyD: "Actually, none of you have been overlooked. You all lost in the World Title Tournament first round and I REALLY don't have time for losers but you are all great talents so I'll do you a favor. You guys can go out and do your stuff at Wrestlelution for a belt I am going to call the Hybrid Championship, where the Champion cannot defend the title in the same match more than once. You three will be in a match that I like to call the 3-King match!"

RobyD's music hits and he heads to the back and as do the cameras as we see Shannon Moore in the back standing by Mike Adamle ready to do an interview.

Mike Adamle: "Well Shannon, you're getting ready to go into the biggest match of your life and if you win, you'll fight for the World Title. Are you ready?"

Shannon More is hyping himself up by jumping up and down like The Rock.

Shannon Moore: "Am, I ready? AM I READY!? Probably not, but I'm gonna go into the match anyways, and RVD better be ready, because I am ready...ready to give him everything I have!"

Shannon Moore's music is heard from the back so he leaves Adamle and makes his way out to the ring to a loud pop as does RVD to an even louder pop.

Shannon Moore vs. Rob Van Dam
Quote:
As the bell rings, Shannon Moore jumps on RVD and backs him into the coner before RVD pushes him back. moore comes back, taking RVD down and throwing a flury of punches his way. RVD tosses him off again. Moore waits for RVD to get up and catches him with several Arm Drags ad well as a Hip Toss and a Quick Body Slam followed by a leg drop and a pin. RVD kicks out but Shannon Moore follows through with a load of Clubby Blows. Finally, RVD powers out and and takes advantage of it. RVD works as the big man in this match, one of the only times in his career. Other than a couple of things like a Spinning Leg Drop, he doesn't work too quick or high risky, as Moore is quicker than him. After a couple of dominating minutes, Moore starts trying to come back but he is shut out every time. Moore tries attack the gut of RVD, but RVD grabs Moore's arm and lifts him up, dropping him straight on his face, but follows it up with a back flip. Eventually in the match, Moore does get a come back, with a lot of momentum and adrenaline felt. The high point of it is an Ezeguiri followed by a Spinning Wheel kick. As Moore tries to follow it up, RVD stops him once again, as he jumps up and kicks moore straight to the face. RVD then hits the ropes and give Shannon a 5-Star Frog Splash for his efforts to end the match and advance in the tournament.
The screen fades out for the end of the show.
