| In Tebow we trust | Re: Rich "The Future" Stone Feb 25th Adrenaline rush Quote: The scene opens to a completely darkened room, utter silence throughout the room and the screen’s pure black. Suddenly, a bright light turns on in the center of the room, the lonely bulb hanging from the ceiling, dangling even and swaying slowly side to side. A shadowed hand rests on the switch for the light and then a body walks into the light’s eerie glow, revealing Rich Stone. He stares deeply into the camera with his cold eyes; a feeling of nothingness overwhelms you when you look at his eyes. Rich: I came to this company hoping to be become the best star in history. But it is very very hard to do that when people don’t respect your abilities. It is hard to accomplish a dream, a legacy, your destiny when people do no allow you to get to where you need to be. Since say one I have been patiently biding my time to get a title shot. And because I lost some battle royal I am kicked and tossed aside like yesterdays news. No, it doesn’t work like that for me. Doing that just pisses me off, and when I get pissed off people get hurt. I am not some jobber to fill a card up I am the main event of the show. I am the reason people come to the show and I don’t know why management can’t realize that. For the past 3 weeks I have been stuck in the “jobber” matches. That not what I signed up for! Why in gods name would I sign up for being a jobber? I could just go back to MMA and be the undisputed champ that I was. The lights sways back and forth as Rich puts his back against the wall with his shadow placed right under the light. You know the thing people don’t realize is that; destiny is a lot like the darkness that surrounds me at this moment. It’s something that if you fear it will over come you. But if you can channel this fear, anything is possible. Most people are afraid of what their destiny is. Many of them are afraid of what they might become, and some are afraid of changing into something they are not. Like with darkness. They are afraid of what looms ahead of them. They are afraid of what twist and turns are ahead of them. I have conquered this fear and now I am ready to pursue what is mine. Mainly that CWA championship. Rich turns on the lights revealing the small locker room. Roberto, I applaud you on becoming the first CWA champion, form the bottom of my heart I truly do. Sadly for you I know that you are not meant to hold that tile for much longer. I think its great that you are holding that title around your shoulder with your cute little dog and everything but this is my world and that is my ring. At uprising I was put In a battle royal and I single handedly took out everyone in that match. I threw every single one of them out and I made them look like pathetic worms beneath me. Sounds mean I know but it’s the truth. There are guys in this company that I have faces that are to on my level. Not in the same league, not even able to lace up my boots with me. I am not just the future, I am the past and I am the present. Arrogance and cockiness are things that people see me as but it goes beyond that. I talk the way I do and act the way I do because simply I am able to back it up. Not like these people who think that they are on y level, Three guys, three guys I took out at uprising. Tossed them out of my ring and showed them that I am the man around here. And when the time comes… I will be CWA champion. Rich walks over to the lockers and takes a seat by his locker. He sits on the floor next to his locker gently kicking the bags of the other guys away from him. A sly look of contempt creeps upon Rich’s face before he looks up at the camera. Tonight, I am going to make an example out of Hardcore Hell. I'm a nice guy but I have been pushed against the wall and it is time for me to start pushing back. I'm done waiting for a chance to be a star. I am going to make myself a star, and god forbid if anyone would get in my way. I am not going to hold my self responsible for anything that happened to anyone involved with this. Tony Burlom and Devon Jones, two guys who are not undefeated, but the EXACT opposite. They haven’t won a match yet and now they face me. Why is management so hell bent on making my days as miserable as possible. I don’t have time for this garbage. I could be doing other things rather than facing these jobbers and the so-called superstars. Their winless streak will continue because I am tired of playing the nice guy around here. Tonight marks the night where I go out and do what I was born to do. That is dominate you with a smile on my face and my hand print on yours. No matter how many people they throw at me I am going to start knocking them all down one by one. I'm done talking here its pointless. I'm just going to let my actions speak for themselves. Rich gets up off the floor and walks out of the room. As he leaves he turns off the lights leaving the singe bulb swinging in the darkness. The camera fades zooming in to that one bulb in the middle of the room. | |
