Mike Tenay and Scott Hudson are commentators for this edition of Saturday Night.
- Tenay and Hudson welcome everyone to the show. Tenay makes sure to mention that Ric Flair will be competing in the main event.
- Hudson also mentions that Rey Mistero Jr. will be in action tonight.
- Tenay sends it over to David Penzer to start off the action.

La Parka defeated Kid Romeo in 6:48

- Romeo attempts a wheelbarrow bulldog but Parka reverses into a sit out face buster.
- Romeo takes Parka down with a spinning heel kick. Romeo attempts a slingshot leg drop from the apron but Parka manages to move out of the way and nails Romeo with a dropkick.
- Parka nails Romeo with a sit down power bomb and climbs to the top rope. Romeo gets up and Parka connects with a corkscrew moonsault to pick of the win.

Vamprio defeated Crowbar in 5:02..

- Crowbar seems to stuck in a losing streak. Crowbar attempted a slingshot body press but Vampiro got his knees up.
- Crowbar did manage to plant Vampiro with a double arm DDT but only got a near fall.
- Vampiro takes Crowbar down with a leaping kick from the middle turnbuckle. Vampiro lifts Crowbar up and plants him with the Nail in the Coffin to win the bout.
- After the match, Vampiro whispers something into Crowbar’s ear before leaving the ring.

Backstage, Chris Candido and Bam-Bam Bigelow are in someone’s locker room.
- Candido says “we did it once, I think no, I know we can do it again.”
- Bigelow says “I need you man.”
- The camera turns around and none other than Shane Douglas is the man they are talking to.
- Douglas stands up and says “You guys are something else. WCW is about to witness the best group of guys in the business today. They are going to witness… the TRIPLE THREAT!
- All three men laugh as the camera fades out.

Rey Mistero Jr. defeated Elik Skipper in 7:36

- Skipper managed to hold his own throughout the match. Skipper took Mistero down with a springboard hurricanrana for a near fall.
- Mistero managed to throw Skipper off the middle rope and spikes Skipper with a tornado DDT.
- Skipper goes for the Play of the Day, but Mister reverses and rolls Skipper up for the win.

Backstage, Terry Funk is watching a video.
- It’s a promotional video of Norman Smiley.
- Funk feels that Smiley is a disgrace to the term “hardcore”.
- Funk says that Smiley is “soft” and is a little screaming bitch. Funk challenges Smiley to a match on Nitro.

Perry Saturn/Dean Malenko defeated The Mamalukes in 6:01

- Saturn and Vito trade a series of right hands, until Saturn takes Vito down with a exploder suplex. Vito manages to spike Saturn with a pile driver.
- Midway through the match, Vito nails Malenko with a super kick. Bull with a top rope leg drop on Malenko nearly wins the match.
- Malenko takes Bull down with a middle rope gut buster. Vito enters the ring but Saturn takes him down with a Death Valley Driver.
- Malenko with a power bomb on Bull and locks in the Texas Cloverleaf for the submission win.
- Replay of the win.

Chris Kanyon defeated Lash LeRoux in 4:39

- LeRoux takes Kanyon down with a Russian leg sweep and goes for a cross body off the top but is met with a dropkick in midair to his midsection.
- Kanyon with a gut wrench power bomb but LeRoux manages to kick out.
- A stumbling LeRoux walks right into the “That’s a Wrap” (Flatliner) for the win.
- Kanyon plays to the crowd after the win.

- Page says that he doesn’t care about the triple threat. The only thing he cares about is kicking Shane Douglas’s ass.
- Page tells Candido and Bigelow that if they get in his way… all three will “FEEL THE BANG!”

Rick Steiner defeated Mike Sanders in 3:29 in a non-title match

- Sanders never quite had a chance. Steiner delivers several stiff right hands and catches Sanders coming off the ropes connecting with a power slam.
- Belly to belly suplex by Steiner. Steiner nails Sanders with a top rope bulldog to pick up the win.
- Steiner goes to the camera and says he will be known as the greatest TV champion of all time
- Replay of the win.

Ric Flair defeated Shawn Stasiak in 6:12

- Stasiak controls Flair with a delayed vertical suplex and backbreaker.
- Flair manages to sneak in a low blow and connects with a delayed vertical suplex.
- Flair ducks a clothesline and connects with a back suplex followed by a knee breaker.
- Stasiak is holding his knee, and Flair locks in the Figure Four.
- Stasiak attempts to reach the ropes but ends up tapping out.
- Flair celebrates the win. Flair wants Scott Steiner, badly.
- Replay of the win.
