| Whoops. | Re: TNA IMPACT: The BTB Total Non-stop Action Replay Show Three: Quote:
Impact kicked off with Eric Young and Consequences Creed in the ring. They talked about their upcoming match against Team 3D at Sacrifice to crown new Tag Team Champions. They knew that they were the underdogs against Team 3D, a team that had won every major tag team title in North America. However, Eric Young and Creed promised Team 3D and the fans that they would not back down and they would give the fans a match to remember. As Young and Creed were about to leave the ring, Team 3D's entrance music played and they made their way to the ring. Team 3D stated that didnt believe Young and Creed, but they did respect them. Therefore next week Team 3D wanted to see just what they were up against as Brother Ray challenged Eric Young to a tables match.
After a loss to Christy Hemme at Lockdown, Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed took out their anger and frustration on Rhaka Khan & Sojournor Bolt. This attack by the two caused the break up of their alliance as proven two weeks ago as Rhaka Kahn made her way to the ring and prevented Awesome Kong from hitting the Awesome Bomb on Christy Hemme, onto a steel chair. This week the rivalry between the four women continued as Awesome Kong with Raisha Saeed in her corner took on Rhaka Kahn with Sojournor Bolt in her corner. During this match TNA Knockouts Champion, Christy Hemme, joined Don West and Mike Tenay on commentary. Christy had nothing but praise for Kahn and Bolt, as she stated that now the two could step out of Kong's shadow and show what they could really do. In the early stages of the match between Kong and Kahn, there appeared to be a stalemate. Kong would try to use power moves such as bearhugs to weaken Kahn, but Khan was able to use her strength and unbelieveable flexability to break out of every hold Kong had.Kahn was able to gain control of the match thanks to her speed. She hit Kong with several clotheslines but at best all Kahn could do was get Kong wabbling. However, thanks to a dropkick, Kahn was able to turn the tide as Kong crashed through the ropes to the outside of the ring. Kahn, with revenge on her mind, went to the outside of the ring in persuit of Kong, but she was met by Saeed. However, Saeed was met by Bolt, and an all out battle began on the outside. Kong and Kahn battled to a ten count as the referee called for the match to end in a double count out, but the battle was just begining. As Bolt and Saeed battled it out on the entrance ramp, Kong and Kahn's battle lead them to the announce table. Kong grabbed the Knockout Championship away from Christy Hemme and blasted Rhaka Kahn with it, then Kong blasted Christy Hemme with the title. Kong then headed up the ramp and backstage in persuit of Bolt and Saeed.
Backstage Hernandez wished Homicide luck in his match against Sonjay Dutt. Hernadez offered Homicide help if he wanted it, but a confident Homicide told Hernandez that it was just Sonjay Dutt. Homicide could handle Dutt on his own 5150 style.
The next match of the night had an extremely personal reason behind it. Feeling that AJ Styles was about to destroy all that the TNA Frontline had worked so hard to achieve, Samoa Joe went into business for himself and stole Sting's TNA Championship match at Sacrifice. Before the match AJ warned Sting about the current Joe and told Sting that he should just call the match off. However, Sting told AJ that tonight he was out to prove to Joe and the world that he was indeed a changed man. During the match Joe showed his agressive side working over Stings leg with help of the ring post and steel steps. It was apparant that Joe was not only trying to make sure that Sting stayed out of the TNA Championship picture, but Joe was also trying to send a message to AJ Styles. There were numerous times that Joe could have put Sting away for the victory, but it was obvious that Joe was intent in inflecting damage on Sting. However, Joe's anger and agression backfired on Joe after Sting was able to reverse the Muscle Buster into the Scorpion Death drop. Sting, thinking that the match was over tried for a pinfall, but Joe showed that he still had heart and was able to lock in the Clutch on Sting, forcing Sting to tap out. After the match Joe refused to let go of the clutch, prompting AJ Styles to sprint to the ring with a steel chair. Styles blasted Joe with the chair, a clean shot to the head of Joe, but the Samoan Machine didnt budge an inch. Instead he charged at Styles, who was able to avoid Joe and hit him with another clean shot to the head, sending Joe cashing to the outside of the ring. Joe quickly popped up again with blood trickling from his forehead. This shocked Styles, who stood ready with chair in hand as it appeared Samoa Joe was about to enter the ring, but for the first time, possibly ever, Joe backed away from the challenge of Styles and the chair.
Backstage a disgruntled Robert Rhoode was confronted back stage by Matt Morgan. It was obvious that Rhoode was fuming after what he called, " The abudction or Jacqueline" by Shane Sewell. Morgan though told Rhoode to get his mind in the game, Jacquline had been nothing but a screw up the past few weeks, and tonight with her out of the picture, only good fortune could come Rhoodes way.
The next match of the night was for the X Division Championship. This match surprisingly saw Sanjay Dutt using his speed and agility to outmanuver and counter everything Homicide through his way. It appeared as if this would be Sonjay Dutt night, but Homicide, refusing to lose his title continuosly kicked out of covers, Being unable to score the pinfall was starting to annoy Dutt and throughout the match he would continuosly get into the face of the referee, complaining about slow counts and arguing close two couldnt actually being three, At one point in the match Dutt threated the referee by grabbing ahold of the referee's shirt collar and throwing him to the ring matt. A frustrated Dutt, who was still having problems putting Homicide away cleanly, headed oustide of the ring for extra help thanks to the X Division Championship. However, Homicide was able to hit Dutt with a blatent low blow in front of the referee, who decided to turn a blind eyes. Homicide Then hit the Gringo Killa on Dutt to pick up the victory and retain the TNA X Division Championship.
In the backstage parking lot Jacqueline was met by Lauren who tried to get her comments on the events of last week. Jacqueline stated that there was nothing between her and Sewell and tonight to she had a special surprise for Robert Rhoode.
It was now time for the six man tag team main event which would see Robert Rhoode, Booker T & Matt Morgan in a match against Abyss, Rhino, and Shane Sewell. For most of the match Booker T, Rhoode, and Morgan isolated Shane Sewell. They stayed fresh with crisp, clean, tags, and constantly got cheap shots in while the referee was distracted by Sewell's team who tried to enter the ring and save their partner. Each time Sewell would try to fight back, the numbers game would catch up to him. However, Sewell was able to gain a bit of luck as Robert Rhoode telegraphed a back body drop and got a boot to the jaw for his trouble. Sewell was inches away from tagging in Rhino before Booker T illegaly entered the ring and attacked Sewell. This illegal attack prompted Abyss and Rhino to enter the ring and begin brawling with Booker T and Matt Morgan to the outside of the ring. This left Rhoode alone in the ring with a hurting Shane Sewell. The confident Rhoode began stalking his prey when he spotted Jacqueline making her way to the ringside area. The two began to argue ending with Robert Rhoode shoving Jacqueline off of the ring apron to the floor below. With a sick grin on his face, Rhoode turned around to finish off Sewell but he was met with a superkick from the returning James Storm who pulled Shane Sewell over Rhoode for the victory. After the match and embarassed Rhobert Rhoode, with Booker T and Matt Morgan standing by his side, looked up at the arena lights and Rhino, Abyss, Shane Sewell, Jacqueline, and James Storm celebrated on stage with a beer bash.
| Not extremely happy about this show. I kind of rushed it as hard as that is to believe with the time between my last show and this one, but Ive been busy as hell. I havent even had time to proof read it, I just wanted to get it out. Hopefully I got the main points of the show across. Hopefully the next show will be better as the final matches for sacrifice come together. |
