| Whoops. | Re: TNA IMPACT: The BTB Total Non-stop Action Replay Show one: Quote:
The first edition of IMPACT since Lockdown kicked off in the backstage parking lot as Jeff Jarett arrived at the IMPACT Zone in Orlando, Florida. Jarrett proclaimed to Jeremy Borash that tonight marked the rebirth of Total Non-Stop Action, and later on he would address the TNA fans in the ring.
Backstage Robert Rhoode and a concerned Jacqueline were arguing about the events after their match at Lockdown. Rhoode blamed James Storm for not holding on to Shane Swell long enough and Jacqueline blamed Rhoode for being clumbsy. Rhoode however, disregarded Jacquline's claim and revealed that it didn't matter because James Storm was out for a few months with an eye injury. To kick of the nights action, Robert Rhoode accompanied by Jacquline fought Shane Sewell in a rematch from Lockdown. Rhoode dominated Sewell throught out the match, belittling him in front of the world with shouts of " You sucked as a ref and you're even worse as a wrestler." Though it would be Shane Sewell who would get the last laugh in the match as Jacqueline distracted the referee while Robert Rhoode attempted to smash a beer bottle over the face of Sewell only to have it miss and Sewell to get the quick roll up win. As a shocked Robert Rhoode stood in the ring with Jacqueline by his side, a victorious Shane Sewell celebrated with Suicide on the entrance ramp.
In what was pretty much a squash match, Abyss accompanied by James Mitchell defeated Kip James with the Black Hole Slam. After the match James Mitchell talked about how he sat at home and watched as his son was being manipulated by Matt Morgan. He stated that Matt Morgan was never really friends with Abyss, he was just using the ability Abyss had in hopes of gaining the tag team titles. Matt Morgan made his way out to the entrance ramp and admitted that what Mitchell said was indeed true. Morgan then stated that if he couldn't elevate his status by becoming tag team champions with Abyss, he wanted to elevate his status by Hellavating Abyss into barbed wire Matt Morgan then challenged Abyss to Barb Wire Massacre at Sacrifice.
Backstage Allex Shelly cut a promo with Lauren. He stated that Chris Sabin had always been jealous of him. Even back in the Motorcity Machine Guns era, Shelly had been the better of the two and at Lockdown it all came to a head as Sabin cost Shelly his X title. Shelly demanded that he get another shot for the X title, but he was interupted by Chris Sabin who also demanded a shot at the X title. Before a brawl between the two broke out, Jim Cornette got between them and announced that they should both get ready because tonight they would battle eachother and the winner would get a shot at the X title after Sonjay Dutt.
In a rematch from Lockdown, Christy Hemme put her Knockouts Championship on the line against Awesome Kong, accompanied by Raisha Saeed. Kong slowed down the match against Hemme with her power. However, the strong willed Hemme refused to quit. As the fans got behind her, it seemed as if Hemme was about to pick up another unimaginable win over Kong, but Raisha Saeed refused to let that happen. She leaped into the ring with a steel chair and blasted Hemme in the back. With a sadistic look on her face, it appeared as if Kong would deliver the Awesome Bomb to Hemme through the chair, but Rhaka Khan managed to sprint to the ring and make the save, forcing Kong and Saeed to back up the ramp.
The match between Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin truly was total non-stop action as it seemed that neither man kept their feet on the ground for long. It was very apparent that this match was personal as both men threw caution to the win all in hopes at getting a shot at the X Division Championship. In the end it was Chris Sabin picking up the victory over Alex Shelly after Sabin hit the Cradle Shock from the top turnbuckle.
In the final segment of the night Jeff Jarett made his way to the ring where a table with a contract was waiting. He started off by comfriming that James Storm would be out for a few months, therefore he had no choice but to strip Robert Rhoode and James Storm of their tag team titles. Jarrett then followed that announcement by saying that the Legends Championship was no longer recognized as an official TNA championship now that the war between the Main Event Mafia & the Frontline was over. Jarett then called AJ and Sting to the ring, and informed the fans that the contract was for their TNA World Championship match at Sacrifice. AJ Styles signed the contract first and handed it to Sting, but before Sting could sign the contract Samoa Joe hit the ring and attacked Sting from behind. A confused AJ Styles tried to stop Joe, but Joe hit the Muscle Buster on Styles. Joe then grabbed the microphone from Jarrett and stood over Styles. He stated that it was complete bullsh*t that Sting got a title shot after all that happened in the war between the Main Event Mafia & the Frontline. It was Samoa Joe who stood beside AJ, fought beside AJ, and even got beat down beside AJ. However, now Joe would be standing across the ring from AJ. Joe then signed the contract in place of Sting and walked off leaving a confused Jeff Jarret in the ring between a fallen AJ Styles and Sting.
