| Teddy Long does have some good catch phrases; they harken back to the 70s, the days of Shaft and Superfly (the movie not the wrestler) and other blaxploitation films. But the angle in which black hates white has been overdone (ie. the Nation of Domination gimmick for one). Then again, WWE is wildly inconsistent when it comes to the present angle since on one RAW Long is pro-black and then he's just anti-discrimination and standing up for the likes of Nowinski and then he's back to being just pro-black. So which is he? Does anyone really care? But as soon as the Dudleys came out, trashed France and sang the US anthem, RAW got quite lame that I changed and only switched back at the end to see the Kane interview. |
